3Numerical Experiment of the Solid Particle Erosion of Bionic Configuration Blade of Centrifugal Fan显示文摘In this paper, a bionic method was presented to improve the erosion resistance of blade of the centrifugal fan. A numerical investigation of the solid particle erosion on the standard and bionic configuration blade of 4-72N10C centrifugal fan was presented. The numerical study employs computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software, based on a finite volume method, in which the discrete phase model was used to modele the solid particles flow, and the Eulerian conservation equation was adopt to simulate the continuous phase. Moreover, user-defined function was used to define wear equation. The various diameters of the particles were taken into account. The positions of collision of standard and bionic fan blades were discussed, and two kinds of centrifugal fan blade wear were compared. The results show that the particles from the incident source with different positions have different processes of turning and movement when enter into the impeller. The trajectories of flow in the fan channel are significantly different for the particles with different diameters. Bionic fan blade have lower erosion rate than the standard fan blade when the particle size is 20 μm. 7Genome Assembly of Alfalfa Cultivar Zhongmu-4 and Identification of SNPs Associated with Agronomic Traits显示文摘Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)is the most important legume forage crop worldwide with high nutritional value and yield.For a long time,the breeding of alfalfa was hampered by lacking reliable information on the autotetraploid genome and molecular markers linked to important agronomic traits.We herein reported the de novo assembly of the allele-aware chromosome-level genome of Zhongmu-4,a cultivar widely cultivated in China,and a comprehensive database of genomic variations based on resequencing of 220 germplasms.Approximate 2.74 Gb contigs(N50 of 2.06 Mb),accounting for 88.39%of the estimated genome,were assembled,and 2.56 Gb contigs were anchored to 32 pseudo-chromosomes.A total of 34,922 allelic genes were identified from the allele-aware genome.We observed the expansion of gene families,especially those related to the nitrogen metabolism,and the increase of repetitive elements including transposable elements,which probably resulted in the increase of Zhongmu-4 genome compared with Medicago truncatula.Population structure analysis revealed that the accessions from Asia and South America had relatively lower genetic diversity than those from Europe,suggesting that geography may influence alfalfa genetic divergence during local adaption.Genome-wide association studies identified 101 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)associated with 27 agronomic traits.Two candidate genes were predicted to be correlated with fall dormancy and salt response.We believe that the alleleaware chromosome-level genome sequence of Zhongmu-4 combined with the resequencing data of the diverse alfalfa germplasms will facilitate genetic research and genomics-assisted breeding in variety improvement of alfalfa.Ruicai Long Fan Zhang Zhiwu Zhang Mingna Li Lin Chen Xue Wang Wenwen Liu Tiejun Zhang Long-Xi Yu Fei He Xueqian Jiang Xijiang Yang Changfu Yang Zhen Wang Junmei Kang Qingchuan Yang 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,1:1

12Hydrodynamic Perception Using an Artificial Lateral Line Device with an Optimized Constriction Canal显示文摘To perform flow-related behaviors in darkness,blind cavefish have evolved Lateral Line Systems(LLSs)with constriction canals to enhance hydrodynamic sensing capabilities.Mimicking the design principles,we developed a Canal-type Artificial Lateral Line(CALL)device featuring a biomimetic constriction canal.The hydrodynamic characterization results revealed that the sensitivity of the canal LLS increases with the decrease in the width(from 1 mm to 0.6 mm)and length(from 3 mm to 1 mm)of the constriction canal,which is in accordance with the modeling results of canal mechanics.The CALL device was characterized in Kármán vortex streets generated by a cylinder in a laminar flow.The CALL device was able to identify the diameter of the cylinder,with a mean identification error of approximately 2.5%.It also demonstrated the identification ability of wake width using the CALL device,indicating the potential for application in hydrodynamic perception.Zhiqiang Ma Yonggang Jiang Zihao Dong Zhiwu Han Deyuan Zhang 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,5:0
13Microwave awakening the n-π^(*) electronic transition in highly crystalline polymeric carbon nitride nanosheets for photocatalytic hydrogen generation显示文摘The n-π^(*) electronic transition in polymeric carbon nitride(PCN)can remarkably harvest visible light,which thus potentially promotes the photocatalytic hydrogen H2 generation.However,awaking the n-π^(*) lectronic transition has proven to be a grand challenge.Herein,we reported on the awakening of n-π^(*) electronic transition by microwave thermolysis of urea pellet,which yielded the PCN with absorption edge of 600 nm,near 140 nm red-shift from 460 nm of pristine PCN.The n-π^(*) electronic transition endows PCN with an increased photocata lytic H_(2) generation,with a highest H_(2) rate of 61.7μmol h^(-1) under visible light exposure,which is near 6 times higher than that by using the PCN from the thermolysis of urea pellets in an electric furnace(10.6μmol h^(-1)).Furthermore,the n-π^(*) transition in PCN leads to the longest wavelength of 535 nm that can initiate H2 generation,remarkably longer than the absorption edge of pristine PCN(460 nm).This work manifests the advantages of microwave sintering route to awaken the n-π^(*) electronic transition in PCN for an increased photocata lytic performance.Xiangang Lin Haiwei Du Daochuan Jiang Peng Zhang Zhiwu Yu Hong Bi Yupeng Yuan 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:0
14Protein expression of sensory and motor nerves Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry显示文摘The present study utilized samples from bilateral motor branches of the femoral nerve,as well as saphenous nerves,ventral roots,and dorsal roots of the spinal cord,to detect differential protein expression using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and nano ultra-high performance liquid chromatography electrospray ionization mass spectrometry tandem mass spectrometry techniques.A mass spectrum was identified using the Mascot search.Results revealed differential expression of 11 proteins,including transgelin,Ig kappa chain precursor,plasma glutathione peroxidase precursor,an unnamed protein product(gi|55628),glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase-like protein,lactoylglutathione lyase,adenylate kinase isozyme 1,two unnamed proteins products(gi|55628 and gi|1334163),and poly(rC)-binding protein 1 in motor and sensory nerves.Results suggested that these proteins played roles in specific nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve injury and served as specific markers for motor and sensory nerves.Zhiwu Ren Yu Wang Jiang Peng Li Zhang Wenjing Xu Xiangdang Liang Qing Zhao Shibi Lu 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,5:0
