1Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell therapy in ischemic stroke: mechanisms of action and treatment optimization strategies显示文摘Animal and clinical studies have confirmed the therapeutic effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on cerebral ischemia, but their mechanisms of action remain poorly understood. Here, we summarize the transplantation approaches, directional migration, differentiation, replacement, neural circuit reconstruction,angiogenesis, neurotrophic factor secretion, apoptosis, immunomodulation, multiple mechanisms of action,and optimization strategies for bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of ischemic stroke.We also explore the safety of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation and conclude that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation is an important direction for future treatment of cerebral ischemia. 2RBC Membrane Camouflaged Semiconducting Polymer Nanoparticles for Near-Infrared Photoacoustic Imaging and Photothermal Therapy显示文摘Semiconducting conjugated polymer nanoparticles(SPNs)represent an emerging class of phototheranostic materi-als with great promise for cancer treatment.In this report,low-bandgap electron donoracceptor(DA)-conjugated SPNs with sur-face cloaked by red blood cell membrane(RBCM)are developed for highly e ective photoacoustic imaging and photothermal therapy.The resulting RBCM-coated SPN(SPN@RBCM)displays remarkable near-infrared light absorption and good photosta-bility,as well as high photothermal conver-sion e ciency for photoacoustic imaging and photothermal therapy.Particularly,due to the small size(<5 nm),SPN@RBCM has the advantages of deep tumor penetration and rapid clearance from the body with no appreciable toxicity.The RBCM endows the SPNs with prolonged systematic circulation time,less reticuloendothelial system uptake and reduced immune-recognition,hence improving tumor accumulation after intravenous injection,which provides strong photoacoustic signals and exerts excellent photothermal therapeutic e ects.Thus,this work provides a valuable paradigm for safe and highly e cient tumor pho-toacoustic imaging and photothermal therapy for further clinical translation.Dongye Zheng Peiwen Yu Zuwu Wei Cheng Zhong Ming Wu Xiaolong Liu 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,7:3

5Clinical observation of Yiqi Qingdu Prescription(益气清毒方)on the treatment of intermediate-stage and advanced non-small-cell lung cancer显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of the Yiqi Qingdu prescription(益气清毒方)on intermediate-stage and advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).METHODS:In total,300 patients with intermediate-stage or advanced NSCLC were randomly and equally divided into three groups using computer-generated random numbers as follows:Western medicine(WM),Chinese medicine(CM),and integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine(IM).After 3 months of treatment,the overall response rate(ORR);disease control rate(DCR);symptom score(SS);Karnofsky performance status(KPS);adverse event score;counts of CD3^(+),CD4^(+),and CD8^(+)cells;CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)ratio;and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)level were compared among the groups.RESULTS:The ORRs were 30.36%,20.24%,and 7.87%in the IM,CM,and WM groups,respectively,whereas the DCRs were 85%,75%,and 73%,respectively.Compared to the CM group,the ORR was significantly higher in the WM and IM groups,whereas the DCR was significantly higher in the IM group(all P<0.05).SS was obviously higher in the WM group than in the other two groups(both P<0.01).KPS was significantly lower in the WM group after treatment(P=0.005).The mean number of adverse events was significantly lower in the CM(2.2±1.3)and IM(2.4±1.3)groups than in the WM group(4.6±1.7,both P<0.05).CD3^(+)cell counts were significantly decreased in the WM group(P=0.031).In the IM group,CD8^(+)cell counts were increased after treatment,whereas the CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)ratio was decreased(both P<0.01).Compared with the WM group,CD3^(+)(P=0.01),CD4^(+)(P=0.044),and CD8^(+)(P=0.009)cell counts were significantly higher in the IM group,whereas the CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)ratio was significantly lower(P=0.011).Relative to the CM group,CD8^(+)cell counts were significantly higher(P=0.001)and the CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)ratio was significant ly lower in the IM group(P=0.001).CEA levels were significantly increased in the CM group(P=0.023).CONCLUSION:The Yiqi Qingdu prescription can improve the outcomes of WM in patients with NSCLC.LIANG Qijun TANG Xiaoling YU Jiong XIONG Monian ZHU Huifang XIONG Linkai ZENG Ru YU Peiwen 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,2:2

7Auxin signaling module OsSK41-OsIAA10-OsARF regulates grain yield traits in rice显示文摘Auxin is an important phytohormone in plants, and auxin signaling pathways in rice play key roles in regulating its growth, development, and productivity. To investigate how rice grain yield traits are regulated by auxin signaling pathways and to facilitate their application in rice improvement, we validated the functional relationships among regulatory genes such as OsIAA10, OsSK41, and OsARF21 that are involved in one of the auxin(OsIAA10) signaling pathways. We assessed the phenotypic effects of these genes on several grain yield traits across two environments using knockout and/or overexpression transgenic lines.Based on the results, we constructed a model that showed how grain yield traits were regulated by OsIAA10 and OsTIR1, OsAFB2, and OsSK41 and OsmiR393 in the OsSK41-OsIAA10-OsARF module and by OsARF21 in the transcriptional regulation of downstream auxin response genes in the OsSK41-OsIAA10-OsARF module. The population genomic analyses revealed rich genetic diversity and the presence of major functional alleles at most of these loci in rice populations. The strong differentiation of many major alleles between Xian/indica and Geng/japonica subspecies and/or among modern varieties and landraces suggested that they contributed to improved productivity during evolution and breeding. 10Tailored Carrier Transport Path by Interpenetrating Networks in Cathode Composite for High Performance All‑Solid‑State Li‑SeS_(2) Batteries显示文摘All-solid-state Li-SeS_(2) batteries(ASSLSs)are more attractive than traditional liquid Li-ion batteries due to superior thermal stability and higher energy density.However,various factors limit the practical application of all-solid-state Li-SeS_(2) batteries,such as the low ionic conductivity of the solid-state electrolyte and the poor kinetic property of the cathode composite,resulting in unsatisfactory rate capability.Here,we employed a traditional ball milling method to design a Li_(7)P_(2.9)W_(0.05)S_(10.85) glass–ceramic electrolyte with high conductivity of 2.0 mS cm^(−1) at room temperature.In order to improve the kinetic property,an interpenetrating network strategy is proposed for rational cathode composite design.Signifcantly,the disordered cathode composite with an interpenetrating network could promote electronic and ionic conduction and intimate contacts between the electrolyte–electrode particles.Moreover,the tortuosity factor of the carrier transport channel is considerably reduced in electrode architectures,leading to superior kinetic performance.Thus,assembled ASSLS exhibited higher capacity and better rate capability than its counterpart.This work demonstrates that an interpenetrating network is essential for improving carrier transport in cathode composite for high rate all-solid-state Li-SeS_(2) batteries.Lei Zhou Muhammad Khurram Tufail Yaozu Liao Niaz Ahmad Peiwen Yu Tinglu Song Renjie Chen Wen Yang 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,3:1

12A chromosome-level genome assembly for Dracaena cochinchinensis reveals the molecular basis of its longevity and formation of dragon’s blood显示文摘Dracaena,a remarkably long-lived and slowly maturing species of plant,is world famous for its ability to produce dragon’s blood,a precious traditional medicine used by different cultures since ancient times.However,there is no detailed and high-quality genome available for this species at present;thus,the molecular mechanisms that underlie its important traits are largely unknown.These factors seriously limit the protection and regeneration of this rare and endangered plant resource.Here,we sequenced and assembled the genome of Dracaena cochinchinensis at the chromosome level.The D.cochinchinensis genome covers 1.21 Gb with a scaffold N50 of 50.06 Mb and encodes 31619 predicted protein-coding genes.Analysis showed that D.cochinchinensis has undergone two whole-genome duplications and two bursts of long terminal repeat insertions.The expansion of two gene classes,cis-zeatin O-glucosyltransferase and small auxin upregulated RNA,were found to account for its longevity and slow growth.Two transcription factors(bHLH and MYB)were found to be core regulators of the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway,and reactive oxygen species were identified as the specific signaling molecules responsible for the injuryinduced formation of dragon’s blood.Our study provides high-quality genomic information relating to D.cochinchinensis and significant insight into the molecular mechanisms responsible for its longevity and formation of dragon’s blood.These findings will facilitate resource protection and sustainable utilization of Dracaena.Yanhong Xu Kaijian Zhang Zhonglian Zhang Yang Liu Feifei Lv Peiwen Sun Shixi Gao Qiuling Wang Cuicui Yu Jiemei Jiang Chuangjun Li Meifang Song Zhihui Gao Chun Sui Haitao Li Yue Jin Xinwei Guo Jianhe Wei 2022Plant Communications2022,3,6:0

15Dual-doping for enhancing chemical stability of functional anionic units in sulfide for high-performance all-solid-state lithium batteries显示文摘The sulfide-based solid-state electrolytes(SEs)reactivity toward moisture and Li-metal are huge barriers that impede their large-scale manufactu ring and applications in all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs).Herein,we proposed an Al and O dual-doped strategy for Li_(3)PS_(4)SE to regulate the chemical/electrochemical stability of anionic PS_(4)^(3-)tetrahedra to mitigate structural hydrolysis and parasitic reactions at the SE/Li interface.The optimized Li_(3.08)A_(10.04)P_(0.96)S_(3.92)O_(0.08)SE presents the highestσLi+of 3.27 mS cm^(-1),which is~6.8 times higher than the pristine Li_(3)PS_(4)and excellently inhibits the structural hydrolysis for~25 min@25%humidity at RT.DFT calculations confirmed that the enhanced chemical stability was revealed to the intrinsically stable entities,e.g.,POS33-units.Moreover,Li_(3.08)Al_(0.04)P_(0.96)S_(3.92)O_(0.08)SE cycled stably in Li//Li symmetric cell over 1000 h@0.1 mA cm^(-2)/0.1 mA h cm^(-2),could be revealed to Li-Al alloy and Li_(2)Oat SE/Li interface impeding the growth of Li-dendrites during cycling.Resultantly,LNO@LCO/Li_(3.08)Al_(0.04)P_(0.96)S_(3.92)O_(0.08)/Li-In cell delivered initial discharge capacities of 129.8 mA h g^(-1)and 83.74%capacity retention over 300 cycles@0.2 C at RT.Moreover,the Li_(3.08)Al_(0.04)P_(0.96)S_(3.92)O_(0.08)SE presented>90%capacity retention over 200 and 300 cycles when the cell was tested with LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.05)O_(2)(NCA)cathode material vs.5 and 10 mg cm^(-2)@RT.Peiwen Yu Niaz Ahmad Jie Yang Chaoyuan Zeng Xiaoxiao Liang Weiming Huang Mei Ni Pengcheng Mao Wen Yang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11:0

18在线纠纷解决体系的实践探索与发展路径(英文)显示文摘随着互联网技术的不断应用和完善,全球政治、经济、文化及社会发展都受到了不同程度的影响,各国社会矛盾纠纷化解难度也日益加大。在互联网背景下,纠纷解决的方式因为科学技术而转型,但是这种转型并非只是简单地将科学技术运用到传统的纠纷解决模式中,而是以科技和互联网思维为基础,重新构建出一种新的在线纠纷解决体系,更加方便当事人解决纠纷、更好地实现公平正义以及更能适应新时代的要求。这对提升社会治理水平,减少矛盾纠纷的发生,提高化解纠纷的效率及降低司法成本等方面都具有积极作用。通过对国内外实践、立法及相关理论问题的研究发现,目前我国尚未建立在线纠纷解决体系,对在线纠纷解决机制的探索起步晚,在法律、技术层面仍然存在很多问题。需要结合我国在线纠纷解决机制的发展现状,吸取域外成熟的实践经验,完善相关制度,继续发展互联网技术和提高在线纠纷解决机制的信任度,构建与国际社会接轨的在线纠纷解决体系,同时在在线纠纷解决体系探讨的过程中提出对在线纠纷解决机制的创新以及发展路径的思考。Yu Zhiqiang Dong Peiwen Robert D. 19The kinase OsSK41/OsGSK5 negatively regulates amylose content in rice endosperm by affecting the interaction between OsEBP89 and OsBP5显示文摘Amylose content(AC) is the main factor determining the palatability, viscosity, transparency, and digestibility of rice(Oryza sativa)grains. AC in rice grains is mainly controlled by different alleles of the Waxy(Wx) gene. The AP2/EREBP transcription factor OsEBP89 interacts with the MYC-like protein OsBP5 to synergistically regulate the expression of Wx.Here, we determined that the GLYCOGEN SYNTHASE KINASE 5(OsGSK5, also named SHAGGY-like kinase 41 [OsSK41]) inhibits the transcriptional activation activity of OsEBP89 in rice grains during amylose biosynthesis. The loss of OsSK41 function enhanced Wx expression and increased AC in rice grains. By contrast, the loss of function of OsEBP89 reduced Wx expression and decreased AC in rice grains. OsSK41 interacts with OsEBP89 and phosphorylates four of its sites(Thr-28,Thr-30, Ser-238, and Thr-257), which makes OsEBP89 unstable and attenuates its interaction with OsBP5. Wx promoter activity was relatively weak when regulated by the phosphomimicvariantOsEBP89E–OsBP5but relatively strong when regulated by the nonphosphorylatable variant OsEBP89A–OsBP5.Therefore, OsSK41-mediated phosphorylation of OsEBP89 represents an additional layer of complexity in the regulation of amylose biosynthesis during rice grain development. 20Satellite observations of coastal upwelling in the northern Arafura Sea显示文摘Coastal upwelling is significant for marine ecosystems by lifting nutrient-rich deep waters into the euphotic zone,thereby increasing primary and secondary productivity.The satellite observations show that the northern Arafura Sea(NAS),especially in the coastal region,features high chlorophyll-a(chl-a)concentrations,implying a strong coastal upwelling.However,coastal upwelling in the NAS has not received much attention.Based on a semi-automatic image processing technology,the seasonal and interannual variability of coastal upwelling in the NAS are investigated in this study using satellite-observed sea surface temperature(SST)and wind data.The results suggest that there are seasonal coastal upwelling events in the NAS modulated by upwelling-favorable southeast monsoon(SEM).The annual mean days,mean area,and annual mean intensity of coastal upwelling events during the SEM season are 92 days,6514 km^(2),and-5.31×10^(5),respectively,while the corresponding values during the northwest monsoon(NWM)season are 32 days,5569 km^(2),and-1.41×10^(5).It is also found that the SEM coastal upwelling in the NAS displays prominent interannual variability.The strong upwelling events are found in 2010,2013,2016,and 2017 when the southeast monsoon winds were weaker.Further analysis suggests that at the interannual scale,the upwelling index(UI)averaged in the SEM season is negatively correlated with that of three upwelling indicators.This can be attributed to the limitation of onshore geostrophic flow which is evidenced by the negative correlation between the UI and the alongshore difference in sea surface height.This study highlights the important role of the southeast monsoon in the temporal variability of coastal upwelling in the NAS.Zheyuan YU Zhanjiu HAO Zhenhua XU Peiwen ZHANG Jia YOU Baoshu YIN Hongwei YANG 2024Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,2:0
