| 2 | Identification of a Newly Isolated Getah Virus in the China-Laos Border,China显示文摘In this study, we isolated a virus strain(YN12031) from specimens of Armigeres subalbatus collected in the China-Laos border. BHK-21 cells infected with YN12031 exhibited an evident cytopathic effect(CPE) 32 h post-infection. The virus particles were spherical, 70 nm in diameter, and enveloped; they also featured surface fibers. Molecular genetic analysis revealed that YN12031 was closely related to alpha viruses such as Chikungunya virus and Sindbis virus, and located in the same clade as MM2021, the prototype of Getahvirus(GETV) isolated in Malaysia in 1955. Phylogenetic analysis of the E2 and capsid genes further revealed that YN12031 was located in the same clade as the Russian isolate LEIV/16275/Mag. Analysis of the homology of nucleotides and amino acids in the coding area and E2 gene demonstrated that the YN12031 isolated from the China-Laos border(tropical region) was related closest to the LEIV/16275/Mag isolate obtained in Russia(North frigid zone area) among other isolates studied. These results suggest that GETV can adapt to different geographical environments to propagate and evolve. | 5 | Comparative analysis of the clinical outcomes between wavefront-guided and conventional femtosecond LASIK in myopia and myopia astigmatism显示文摘AIM:To compare the clinical outcomes of wavefront guided femtosecond LASIK(WFG LASIK)and conventional femtosecond LASIK(NWFG LASIK)in eyes with myopia and myopia astigmatism.METHODS:This was a retrospective,nonrandomized,comparative investigation enrolling 236 eyes of 122 patients(18-50 y)with low&moderate and high myopia.The WFG group including 97 eyes(50 patients)undergone WFG LASIK and the NWFG group including 139 eyes(72 patients)undergone conventional LASIK.Mean efficacy index,high order aberrations(HOAs),pupil size and the quality of visual questionnaire were evaluated 6 mo postoperatively.RESULTS:There is no difference between WFG group(-0.054±0.049 in logMAR)and NWFG group(-0.040±0.056)in uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA)postoperatively.The myopia astigmatism is higher in WFG group than that in NWFG group(P<0.05).However,the mean efficacy index(MEI)in the WFG group(1.09±0.106)is better than that in the NWFG group(1.036±0.124;P<0.001).Increased HOAs were observed in NWFG group(0.30±0.196)than that in WFG group(0.146±0.188;P<0.001).The pupil size is larger in WFG group(5.15±0.76 mm)than that in NWFG group(4.32±0.52 mm).The patients are satisfied with the clinical surgery,yet WFG group showed better visual quality using the questionnaire survey.Meanwhile,high myopia would result in worse MEI,HOAs and visual quality than low&moderate myopia.CONCLUSION:WFG and NWFG FS-LASIK are both effective and safe procedures to correct low&moderate and high myopia,but WFG FS-LASIK gives a better postoperative MEI,aberrometric control and predictable outcome.Meanwhile,WFG FS-LASIK is better than NWFG FS-LASIK in correction of myopia astigmatism.Low&moderate myopia allow better clinical outcomes than high myopia using any surgical method. | Xiao Gui Rui Zhang Sha Li Na Zhao Hao-Rui Zhang Yu-Kun Zhou Chen-Yang Huan Chun-Yan Zhao Hong-Ying Wang Hong-Yuan Song Wei Shen Jian-Hua Zhang | 2021 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2021,14,10: | 5 |

| 7 | Prevalence and Influencing Factors on Fatigue of First-line Nurses Combating with COVID-19 in China:A Descriptive Cross-Sectional Study显示文摘Summary:Nurses'work-related fatigue has been recognized as a threat to nurse health and patient safety.The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of fatigue among first-line nurses combating with COVID-19 in Wuhan,China,and to analyze its influencing factors on fatigue.A multi-center,descriptive,cross-sectional design with a convenience sample was used.The statistical population consisted of the first-line nurses in 7 tertiary general hospitals from March 3,2020 to March 10,2020 in Wuhan of China.A total of 2667 samples from 2768 contacted participants completed the investgation,with a response rate of 96.35%.Social-demographic questionnaire,work-related questionnaire,Fatigue Scale-14,Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7,Patient Health Questionnaire-9,and Chinese Perceived Stress Scale were used to conduct online survey.The descriptive statistic of nurses'social-demographic characteristics was conducted,and the related variables of work,anxiety,depression,perceived stress and fatigue were analyzed by Z-tests,nonparametric test and Pearson's correlation analysis.The significant factors which resulted in nurses'fatigue were further analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.The median score for the first-line nurses'fatigue in Wuhan was 4(2,8).The median score of physical and mental fatigue of them was 3(1,6)and 1(0,3)respectively.According to the scoring criteria,35.06%nurses(w=935)of all participants were in the fatigue status,their median score of fatigue was 10(8,11),and the median score of physical and mental fatigue of them was 7(5,8)and 3(2,4)respectively.Multiple linear regression analysis revealed the participants in the risk groups of anxiety,depression and perceived stress had higher scores on physical and mental fatigue and the statistically significant positive correlation was observed between the variables and nurses'fatigue,the frequency of exercise and nurses'fatigue had a statistically significant negative correlation,and average daily working hours had a significantly positive correlation with nurses'fatigue,and the frequency of weekly night shift had a low positive correlation with nurses'fatigue(P<0.01).There was a moderate level of fatigue among the first-line nurses fighting against COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan,China.Government and health authorities need to formulate and take effective intervention strategies according to the relevant risk factors,and undertake preventive measures aimed at reducing health hazards due to increased work-related fatigue among first-line nurses,and to enhance their health status and provide a safe occupational environment worldwide.Promoting both medical and nursing safety while combating with the pandemic currently is warranted. | Yu-xin ZHAN Shi-yu ZHAO Jiao YUAN Huan LIU Yun-fang LIU Ling-li GUI Hong ZHENG Ya-min ZHOU Li-hua QIU Jiao-hong CHEN Jiao-hua YU Su-yun LI | 2020 | Current Medical Science2020,40,4: | 4 |

| 16 | Cross-sectional study of traumatic stress disorder in frontline nurses 6 mo after the outbreak of the COVID-19 in Wuhan显示文摘BACKGROUND Frontline nurses in Wuhan directly fighting severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 diseases are at a high risk of infection and are extremely susceptible to psychological stress,especially due to the global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.The psychological after-effects of this public health emergency on frontline nurses will last for years.AIM To assess factors influencing post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)among frontline nurses in Wuhan 6 mo after the COVID-19 pandemic began.METHODS A total of 757 frontline nurses from five hospitals in Wuhan,China,participated in an online survey from July 27 to August 13,2020.This cross-sectional online study used a demographic information questionnaire,the PTSD Checklist for the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale,and the Patient Health Questionnaire-4.The chisquare test and logistic regression were used to analyze the association of demographics,COVID-19-related variables,and PTSD.Logistic regression was also conducted to investigate which variables were associated with PTSD outcomes.RESULTS A total of 13.5%,24.3%,and 21.4%of the frontline nurses showed symptoms of PTSD,depression,and anxiety,respectively.The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the following factors were strongly associated with PTSD:Having a relative,friend,or colleague who died of COVID-19;experiencing stigma;or having psychological assistance needs,depressive symptoms or anxiety.Showing resilience and receiving praise after the COVID-19 outbreak were protective factors.CONCLUSION Frontline nurses still experienced PTSD(13.5%)six months after the COVID-19 outbreak began.Peer support,social support,official recognition,reward mechanisms,exercise,better sleep,and timely provision of information(such as vaccine research progress)by the government via social media,and adequate protective supplies could mitigate the level of PTSD among nurses responding to COVID-19.Stigmatization,depression,and anxiety might be associated with a greater risk of PTSD among nurses. | Zhi-Qing Zhou Ting Yuan Xiu-Bing Tao Long Huang Yu-Xin Zhan Li-Ling Gui Mei Li Huan Liu Xiang-Dong Li | 2022 | World Journal of Psychiatry2022,12,2: | 1 |
