| 1 | Exosome-functionalized magnesium-organic framework-based scaffoldswith osteogenic, angiogenic and anti-inflammatory properties foraccelerated bone regeneration显示文摘Exosomes derived from human adipose-derived stem cells (hADSCs-Exos) have shown potential as an effectivetherapeutic tool for repairing bone defects. Although metal-organic framework (MOF) scaffolds are promisingstrategies for bone tissue regeneration, their potential use for exosome loading remains unexplored. In this study,motivated by the potential advantages of hADSCs-Exos and Mg-GA MOF, we designed and synthesized anexosome-functionalized cell-free PLGA/Mg-GA MOF (PLGA/Exo-Mg-GA MOF) scaffold, taking using of thebenefits of hADSCs-Exos, Mg2+, and gallic acid (GA) to construct unique nanostructural interfaces to enhanceosteogenic, angiogenic and anti-inflammatory capabilities simultaneously. Our in vitro work demonstrated thebeneficial effects of PLGA/Exo-Mg-GA MOF composite scaffolds on the osteogenic effects in human bonemarrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hBMSCs) and angiogenic effects in human umbilical endothelial cells(HUVECs). Slowly released hADSCs-Exos from composite scaffolds were phagocytosed by co-cultured cells,stabilized the bone graft environment, ensured blood supply, promoted osteogenic differentiation, and acceleratedbone reconstruction. Furthermore, our in vivo experiments with rat calvarial defect model showed thatPLGA/Exo-Mg-GA MOF scaffolds promoted new bone formation and satisfactory osseointegration. | 5 | Sapphirine-Bearing Pelitic Granulite from Ailaoshan Orogen,West Yunnan,China: Metamorphic Conditions and Tectonic Setting显示文摘To reveal the petrological characteristics, metamorphic evolution histon and tectonic setting of the pelitic granulites from Ailaoshan Orogen, Uest Yunnan, China, a comprehensive study in mineral chemistry, petrogeochemistry and geochronology studies is presented in this paper. Two metamorphic stages of the granulites can be established:(1) the peak metamorphism recorded by the mineral assemblage of garnet, kyanite, K-feidspar and rutile, and the initial retrograde metamorphism shown by the mineral assemblage of garnet, sillimanite, sapphirine, spinel, K-feldspar, plagioclase and biotite;(2) the superim-posed metamorphism recorded by the mineral assemblage of biotite, muscovite, plagioclase, quartz and ilmenite. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating indicates that the protolith of the granulite was deposited after 337 Ma. The initial retrograde metamorphism occurred at P-T conditions of 8.6-12 kbar at 850-920℃ estimated by mineral assemblages, the low pressure limit of kyanite stability and GBPQ geothermobarometer in Indosinian (about 235 Ma), and the late superimposed metamorphism occurred at the P-T condition of 3.5-3.9 kbar at 572-576℃ estimated by GBPQ geothermobarometer since 33Ma. The first stage was related to the amalgamation of the South China and Indochina blocks during the Triassic, and the second stage was possibly related with the large scale sinistral slip-shearing since the Oligocene. It is inferred that the upper continental crust was suhducted/underthrusted to the lower continental crust (deeper than 30 km) and underwent granulite-facies metamorphism and then quickly exhumed to the middle-upper crust (10-12 km) and initial retrograde metamorphism occurred due to the collision of the Indochina and South China blocks during Indosinian, which was followed by superimposition of the second stage of metamorphism since the Oligocene. | Cheng Wei Yuhao Zhao Luhua Zhu Xuexiang Qi Zhihui Cai Xufeng Liu Guangfei Ma | 2019 | Journal of Earth Science2019,30,3: | 1 |

| 8 | Iron-based metal-organic framework as a dual cooperative release system for enhanced vascularization and bone regeneration显示文摘Vascularization and bone regeneration are closely related in the process of bone remodeling,and designing a bioactive scaffold with pro-angiogenic and osteogenic properties may accelerate the repair of bone defects.In this work,an iron-based metal-organic framework(MIL-88)was developed as a carrier for loading a pro-angiogenic small molecular drug(dimethyloxallyl glycine,DMOG),and then embedded into the PLGA nanofibrous scaffolds to repair cranial defects in rats.Imaging and histological evaluation indicated that PLGA/MIL@D scaffold markedly enhanced vascularization and bone regeneration in vivo.Moreover,in vitro assay showed that co-delivery system significantly promoted angiogenesis by stimulating endothelial cell migration,tube formation,and enhanced osteogenesis by promoting expression of osteoblast related proteins.In addition,PLGA/MIL@D scaffold promotes angiogenesis by activating the hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1)/vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)signaling pathway.Altogether,this bioactive PLGA/MIL@D scaffold can combine angiogenesis with osteogenesis,and will be a bright strategy for the repair of bone defects. | Chang Xu Yue Kang Shiqiang Guan Xufeng Dong Daqing Jiang Min Qi | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5: | 0 |
| 9 | Integration exosomes with MOF-modified multifunctional scaffold for accelerating vascularized bone regeneration显示文摘Designing a multifunctional scaffold with osteogenic and angiogenic properties holds promise for ideal bone regeneration. Innovative scaffold was here constructed by immobilizing exosomes derived from human bone mesenchymal stem cells(h BMSCs) onto porous polymer meshes which developed by PLGA and Cu-based MOF(PLGA/Cu BDC@Exo). The synthesized exosome-laden scaffold capable of providing a dual cooperative controllable release of bioactive copper ions and exosomes that promote osteogenesis and angiogenesis, thereby achieving cell-free bone regeneration. In vitro assay revealed the composite stent not only substantially upregulated the expression of osteogenic-related proteins(ALP, Runx2, Ocn)and VEGF in h BMSCs, but promoted the migration and tube formation of the human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs). In vivo evaluation further confirmed this scaffold dramatically stimulated bone regeneration and angiogenesis in critical-sized defects in rats. | 12 | Genome-wide identification and spatiotemporal expression profiling of zinc finger SWIM domain-containing protein family genes显示文摘The biological function of the novel zinc-finger SWIM domain-containing protein family(ZSWIM)during embryonic development remains elusive.Here,we conducted a genome-wide analysis to explore the evolutionary processes of the ZSWIM gene family members in mice,Xenopus tropicalis,zebrafish,and humans.We identified nine putative ZSWIM genes in the human and mouse genome,eight in the Xenopus genome,and five in the zebrafish genome.Based on multiple sequence alignment,three members,ZSWIM5,ZSWIM6,and ZSWIM8,demonstrated the highest homology across all four species.Using available RNA sequencing(RNAseq)data,ZSWIM genes were found to be widely expressed across different tissues,with distinct tissuespecific properties.To identify the functions of the ZSWIM protein family during embryogenesis,we examined temporal and spatial expression patterns of zswim family genes in Xenopus embryos.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)revealed that each member had a distinct expression profile.Whole-mount in situ hybridization showed that both zswim1 and zswim3 were maternally expressed genes;zswim5 and zswim6were expressed throughout embryogenesis and displayed dynamic expression in the brain,eyes,somite,and bronchial arch at the late tailbud stages;zswim7 was detected in the eye area;zswim8 showed a dynamic expression pattern during the tailbud stages,with expression detected in the brain,eyes,and somite;zswim9 was faintly expressed throughout embryonic development.This study provides a foundation for future research to delineate the functions of ZSWIM gene members. | Imtiaz Ul Hassan Hafiz Mamoon Rehman Ziran Liu Liangji Zhou Muhammad Kaleem Samma Chengdong Wang Zixin Rong Xufeng Qi Dongqing Cai Hui Zhao | 2023 | Zoological Research2023,44,3: | 0 |

The results showed that celery belts of Hulu River Valley was divided into two groups: early-maturing region of south Xinglong-Xiaohe where is warm and rainy,serotinous region of north Jiqiang-Xinying where is warm and cold and rainless. Four subregions: Xinlong,Xiaohe,Jiqiang,Xinying. | 14 | Correlation between the Distribution of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes and Molecular Types of Breast Cancer in Perichemotherapy Period显示文摘Objectives The objective of this study was to explore the correlation between the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes and molecular types of breast cancer in the perichemotherapy period.Methods A total of 325 cases with perichemotherapy breast cancer was classified according to syndrome differentiation in TCM,and R×C table x2 test was used to examine and analyze the relationship between TCM syndromes and molecular types of breast cancer in the perichemotherapy period.Results(1)In the early stage of chemotherapy,there was no significant difference in the distribution of different TCM syndromes among molecular types,mainly liver depression syndrome and liver depression and phlegm coagulation syndrome(p>0.05).(2)In the middle stage of chemotherapy,there were significant differences in the distribution of spleen deficiency and phlegm-dampness syndrome among HER-2 positive(HR positive),HER-2 positive(HR negative),and Luminal Atype,Luminal B type(HER-2 negative),and triple-negative type(p<0.01).(3)After chemotherapy,there were significant differences in the distribution of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome and marrow sea insufficiency syndrome among HER-2 positive(HR negative),triple-negative type,and HER-2 positive(HR positive),Luminal A type,Luminal B type(HER-2 negative),and triple-negative type(p<0.01).Conclusion(1)In the middle stage of chemotherapy,HER-2 positive(HR positive)and HER-2 positive(HR negative)are more likely to show spleen deficiency and phlegmdampness syndrome than other molecular types.(2)In the late stage of chemotherapy,the HER-2 positive(HR negative)and triple-negative type is more likely to show spleenkidney yang deficiency syndrome than other molecular types,and the triple-negative type is more likely to show marrow sea insufficiency syndrome than other molecular types. | Bingxin Meng Xufeng Cheng Qi Liu Huiduo Zhao Beibei Wang Liuyan Xu | 2023 | Chinese Medicine and Natural Products2023,3,4: | 0 |
