| 1 | Real-time drogue recognition and 3D locating for UAV autonomous aerial refueling based on monocular machine vision显示文摘Drogue recognition and 3D locating is a key problem during the docking phase of the autonomous aerial refueling(AAR). To solve this problem, a novel and effective method based on monocular vision is presented in this paper. Firstly, by employing computer vision with red-ring-shape feature, a drogue detection and recognition algorithm is proposed to guarantee safety and ensure the robustness to the drogue diversity and the changes in environmental conditions, without using a set of infrared light emitting diodes(LEDs) on the parachute part of the drogue. Secondly, considering camera lens distortion, a monocular vision measurement algorithm for drogue 3D locating is designed to ensure the accuracy and real-time performance of the system,with the drogue attitude provided. Finally, experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. | 2 | Exosome-functionalized magnesium-organic framework-based scaffoldswith osteogenic, angiogenic and anti-inflammatory properties foraccelerated bone regeneration显示文摘Exosomes derived from human adipose-derived stem cells (hADSCs-Exos) have shown potential as an effectivetherapeutic tool for repairing bone defects. Although metal-organic framework (MOF) scaffolds are promisingstrategies for bone tissue regeneration, their potential use for exosome loading remains unexplored. In this study,motivated by the potential advantages of hADSCs-Exos and Mg-GA MOF, we designed and synthesized anexosome-functionalized cell-free PLGA/Mg-GA MOF (PLGA/Exo-Mg-GA MOF) scaffold, taking using of thebenefits of hADSCs-Exos, Mg2+, and gallic acid (GA) to construct unique nanostructural interfaces to enhanceosteogenic, angiogenic and anti-inflammatory capabilities simultaneously. Our in vitro work demonstrated thebeneficial effects of PLGA/Exo-Mg-GA MOF composite scaffolds on the osteogenic effects in human bonemarrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hBMSCs) and angiogenic effects in human umbilical endothelial cells(HUVECs). Slowly released hADSCs-Exos from composite scaffolds were phagocytosed by co-cultured cells,stabilized the bone graft environment, ensured blood supply, promoted osteogenic differentiation, and acceleratedbone reconstruction. Furthermore, our in vivo experiments with rat calvarial defect model showed thatPLGA/Exo-Mg-GA MOF scaffolds promoted new bone formation and satisfactory osseointegration. | 4 | A new algorithm of retrieving a petroleum substances absorption coefficient in sea water based on a remote sensing image显示文摘Establishing the remote sensing algorithm of retrieving the absorption coefficient of seawater petroleum substances is an efficient way to improve the accuracy of retrieving a seawater petroleum concentration using a remote sensing technology. A remote sensing reflectance is a basic physical parameter in water color remote sensing. Apply it to directly retrieve the absorption coefficient of seawater petroleum substances is of potential advantage. The absorption coefficient of waters containing petroleum [ACWCP, a_o(λ)], consists of the absorption coefficient of pure water [ACPW, a_w(λ)], plankton [ACP, a_(ph)(λ)], colored scraps [ACCS, a_(d,g)(λ)], and petroleum substance [ACPS, a_(oil)(λ)]. Among those, ACCS consists of the absorption coefficient of nonalgal particle [ACNP, a_d(λ)] and colored dissolved organic matter [ACCDOM, a_g(λ)]. For waters containing petroleum, the retrieved ACCS using the existing method is a combination absorption coefficient of ACNP,ACCDOM and ACPA [CAC, a_(d,g,oil)(λ)]. Therefore, the principle question is how to extract ACPS from CAC.Through the analysis of the three proportion tests conducted between the year of 2013 and 2015 and the corresponding remote sensing data, an algorithm of retrieving the absorption coefficient of petroleum substances is proposed based on remote sensing reflectance. First of all, ACPS and CAC are retrieved from the reflectance using the quasi-analytical algorithm(QAA), with some parameter modified. Secondly, given the fact that the backscatter coefficient [BC, b_(bp)(555)] of total particles at 555 nm can be obtained completely from the reflectance, the relation between BC and ACNP in petroleum contaminated water can be established. As a result, ACNP can be calculated. Then, combining the remote sensing retrieving algorithm of a_g(440), the method of achieving the spectral slope of the absorption coefficient can be established, from which ACCDOM,can be calculated. Finally, ACPS can be computed as the residual. | 5 | Drogue detection for autonomous aerial refueling based on convolutional neural networks显示文摘Drogue detection is a fundamental issue during the close docking phase of autonomous aerial refueling(AAR). To cope with this issue, a novel and effective method based on deep learning with convolutional neural networks(CNNs) is proposed. In order to ensure its robustness and wide application, a deep learning dataset of images was prepared by utilizing real data of ‘‘Probe and Drogue' aerial refueling, which contains diverse drogues in various environmental conditions without artificial features placed on the drogues. By employing deep learning ideas and graphics processing units(GPUs), a model for drogue detection using a Caffe deep learning framework with CNNs was designed to ensure the method's accuracy and real-time performance. | 14 | Dissolved nutrient distributions in the Antarctic Cosmonaut Sea in austral summer 2021显示文摘Dissolved nutrients are essential to marine productivity and ecosystem structures in the Southern Ocean.The spatial distributions of dissolved nutrients in the Cosmonaut Sea were studied during the 37th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition in 2021.The relative standard deviations of the nitrate(NO_(3)-N),nitrite(NO_(2)-N),ammonium(NH_(4)-N),phosphate(PO_(4)-P),and silicate(SiO_(3)-Si)concentrations found in duplicate samples(n=2)were 1.01%,9.04%,6.45%,0.94%,and0.67%,respectively.The mean NO_(3)-N,NO_(2)-N,NH_(4)-N,PO_(4)-P,and SiO_(3)-Si concentrations in the mixed layer were 26.41±4.13,0.15±0.09,0.51±0.22,1.73±0.23,and 41.48±6.94μmol·L^(−1),respectively,and were higher than the relevant limitationconcentrations.The concentrations were generally bounded horizontally by the Southern Boundary(SB)of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current,the NO_(3)-N,NO_(2)-N,NH_(4)-N,and PO_(4)-P concentrations being higher northeast than southwest of the SB but the SiO_(3)-Si concentrations being higher southwest than northeast,indicating that the SB dominates nutrient distributions in themixed layer.The NO_(3)-N,NH_(4)-N,and PO_(4)-P concentrations gradually increased moving vertically down from the mixed layer to 200 m deep and then remained at 33.73±3.51,0.26±0.13,and 2.28±0.10μmol·L^(−1),respectively,to the bottom.The SiO_(3)-Si concentration increased as depth increased and reached a maximum in the bottom layer.The NO_(2)-N concentrationdecreased rapidly as depth increased and was~0μmol·L^(−1)at>150 m deep.Circumpolar Deep Water upwelling may cause high nutrient concentrations in shallower layers up to the 100 m layer between 62.5°S and 64°S. | HUANG Wenhao YANG Xufeng ZHAO Jun LI Dong PAN Jianming | 2022 | Advances in Polar Science2022,33,3: | 1 |
