1Long-term follow-up of the effects of fecal microbiota transplantation in combination with soluble dietary fiber as a therapeutic regimen in slow transit constipation显示文摘As some studies have reported that strategies targeting the gut microbiota such as fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) with or without other microecological therapy might have efficacy in treating slow transit constipation(STC), we conducted a singlecenter, open-label trial to study the long-term effect of FMT combined with soluble dietary fiber(pectin) on STC. Thirty-one adult patients with STC were enrolled into the trial. Patients received 6-day FMT procedures repeatedly for the first 3 months and soluble dietary fiber(pectin) daily during the follow-up. The rate of clinical remission and improvement, stool consistency, the Wexner constipation scale, and assessment of constipation-related symptoms were evaluated at week 4 and 1 year later. The clinical remission and improvement rates at week 4 were 69.0%(20/29) and 75.9%(22/29), respectively. At the end of the study,48.3%(14/29) of patients continued to have at least three complete spontaneous bowel movements per week and 58.6%(17/29)of patients showed clinical improvements. Stool consistency, the Wexner constipation scale, and constipation symptoms improved both at short-term and long-term follow-up. 3Thermodynamic modeling and phase diagram prediction of salt lake brine systems.Ⅰ. Aqueous Mg^2+–Ca^2+–Cl^- binary and ternary systems显示文摘Salt lake brine is a complex salt-water system under natural environment.Although many models can express the thermodynamic properties and phase equilibrium of electrolyte aqueous solution,the multi-temperature characteristics and predictability are still the goals of model development.In this study,a comprehensive thermodynamic model system is re-established based on the eNRTL model and some improvements:(1) new expression of long-range electrostatic term with symmetrical reference state is proposed to handle the electrolyte solution covering entire concentration range;(2) the temperature dependence of the binary interaction parameters is formulated with a Gibbs Helmholtz expression containing three temperature coefficients,the liquid parameters,which associated with Gibbs energy,enthalpy,and heat capacity contribution;and(3) liquid parameters and solid species data are regressed from properties and solubility data at full temperature range.Together the activity coefficient model,property models and parameters of liquid and solid offer a comprehensive thermodynamic model system for the typical bittern of MgCl2-CaCl2-H2 O binary and ternary systems,and it shows excellent agreement with the literature data for the ternary and binary systems.The successful prediction of complete phase diagram of ternary system shows that the model has the ability to deal with high concentration and high non-idealitv system,and the ability to extrapolate the temperature.Huan Zhou Xiaolong Gu Yaping Dai Jingjing Tang Jian Guo Guangbi Li Xiaoqin Bai 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,9:9
4Comparative Analysis of Leaf Trichomes, Epidermal Wax And Defense Enzymes Activities in Response to Puccinia horiana in Chrysanthemum and Ajania Species显示文摘White rust caused by Puccinia horiana is a destructive disease of chrysanthemum plants.To better understand the resistance mechanisms of composite species to this disease,the leaf cuticular traits,antioxidant and defensive enzymes activities of immune(Chrysanthemum makinoi var.wakasaense)and highly susceptible(Ajania shiwogiku var.kinokuniense)species were compared.Trichome density of two species was markedly different,negatively associated with plant resistance to P.horiana.Total wax load in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was two times more than that in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense.The wax composition in immune one was abundant in esters and primary alcohols.Superoxide dismutase(SOD,EC 1.15.1.1),peroxidase(POD,EC 1.11.1.7),polyphenoloxidase(PPO,EC 1.14.18.1 or EC 1.10.3.2)and phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL,EC 4.3.1.5)activitieswere investigated.In C.makinoi var.wakasaense,the activity of SOD and POD increased rapidly after inoculation,whichmight be non-host induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)activated antioxidant enzymes,however SOD and POD remained a low and steady level in the highly susceptible one after inoculation.Quick increase in PPO activities after inoculation was observed in both species,however it remained higher in C.makinoi var.wakasaense at the late period of inoculation.PAL in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was induced after pathogen inoculation,but not in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense,suggesting that these two enzymes might contribute to the resistance to P.horiana.Yinjie Wang Jun Zeng Xiaolong Xia Yang Xu Jing Sun Jing Gu Hainan Sun Haini Lei Fadi Chen Jiafu Jiang Weiming Fang Sumei Chen 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,3:8
5粪菌移植应用于慢传输型便秘的临床疗效及疗效影响因素:一项前瞻性研究的长期随访结果显示文摘背景和目的肠道菌群参与结肠动力的调控,菌群失调是便秘是病因之一。粪菌移植被证实可以恢复肠道平衡。本研究旨在评估粪菌移植治疗慢传输型便秘(STC)的临床疗效和预后影响因素。方法:52例STC患者接受标准的粪菌移植入组研究,对其进行至少6个月的随访。记录入组患者的排便习惯、结肠传输时间、便秘相关的症状(PAC-SYM评分)、生活质量(PAC-QOL评分)、治疗满意度和不良反应。主要疗效指标是平均每周完全自主排便≥3次的患者比例。结果:治疗后34周、912周、2124周,每周完全自主排便≥3次患者的比例分别为50.0%、38.5%和32.7%,均较治疗前显著提高(均P<0.01)。其他排便情况、结肠传输时间、便秘相关症状和生活质量方面,治疗后亦有显著改善;但这些短期改善在治疗后12周和24周逐渐减小。治疗前排便不尽是唯一的疗效影响因素。治疗和随访期间未发现任何治疗相关的不良反应。结论:本研究显示粪菌移植治疗STC安全有效,但远期疗效有所降低。治疗前排便不尽感较少甚至没有的患者接受粪菌移植的治疗效果更佳。Chao Ding Wenting Fan Lili Gu Hongliang Tian Xiaolong Ge Jianfeng Gong Yongzhan Nie Ning Li 2018Gastroenterology Report2018,6,2:7
6Wetting Behaviors and Interfacial Reaction between Sn-10Sb-5Cu High Temperature Lead-free Solder and Cu Substrate显示文摘Sn-10Sb-5Cu lead-free solder was fabricated for high temperature application in electronic package. Wetting behaviors and interfacial reaction between such a high temperature lead-free solder and Cu substrate were investigated and compared with those of 95Pb-Sn solder. The results showed that the wetting properties of Sn-10Sb-5Cu solder are superior to those of 95Pb-Sn solder in maximum wetting force, wetting time and wetting angle in the temperature range of 340-400 ℃. However, the surface of the Sn-10Sb-5Cu solder sample after wetting balance tests was rougher than that of 95Pb-Sn solder at the temperature lower than 360 ℃. In static liquid-state interfacial reaction, the types and thickness of the intermetallic compounds (IMCs) of both solders were different from each other. 7Synchrotron radiation-based Fourier-transform infrared spectromicroscopy for characterization of the protein/peptide distribution in single microspheres显示文摘The present study establishes a visualization method for the measurement of the distribution and localization of protein/peptide constituents within a single poly-lactide-co-glycolide(PLGA) microsphere using synchrotron radiation–based Fourier-transform infrared spectromicroscopy(SR-FTIR).The representative infrared wavenumbers specific for protein/peptide(Exenatide) and excipient(PLGA) were identified and chemical maps at the single microsphere level were generated by measuring and plotting the intensity of these specific bands.For quantitative analysis of the distribution within microspheres,Matlab software was used to transform the map file into a 3D matrix and the matrix values specific for the drug and excipient were extracted.Comparison of the normalized SR-FTIR maps of PLGA and Exenatide indicated that PLGA was uniformly distributed,while Exenatide was relatively non-uniformly distributed in the microspheres.In conclusion,SR-FTIR is a rapid,nondestructive and sensitive detection technology to provide the distribution of chemical constituents and functional groups in microparticles and microspheres.Manli Wang Xiaolong Lu Xianzhen Yin Yajun Tong Weiwei Peng Li Wu Haiyan Li Yan Yang Jingkai Gu Tiqiao Xiao Min Chen Jiwen Zhang 2015Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2015,5,3:5
8Efficacy of biofeedback therapy via a mini wireless device on sleep bruxism contrasted with occlusal splint:a pilot study显示文摘The putative causes of bruxism are multifactorial and there are no definite measures for bruxism management.The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of biofeedback therapy on sleep bruxism,compared with occlusal splint.Twenty-four volunteers with sleep bruxism were divided into two groups:the GTB group that were treated with biofeedback therapy(n 512) and the GTO group that were treated with occlusal splint(n 512).A mini pressure sensor integrated with a monitoring circuit by use of a maxillary biofeedback splint was fabricated.To foster the relaxation of the masticatory muscles and the nervous system,the wireless device received signals from bruxism events and vibrations alerted the bruxer when the threshold was exceeded.Total episodes and average duration of bruxism events during8 hours of sleep were analyzed with the monitoring program(TRMY1.0).After 6 and 12 weeks,the episodes(P 50.001) and duration(P,0.05) in the GTB group declined dramatically.In contrast,there were no significant differences in the GTO group after the treatment(P.0.05).Furthermore,the episodes had significant differences between the GTB group and the GTO group after the same period of treatment(P 5 0.000).The results suggest that biofeedback therapy may be an effective and convenient measure for mild bruxers,when compared with occlusal splint therapy.The mini wireless biofeedback method may be of value for the diagnosis and management of bruxism in the future.WeiPing Gu Jie Yang FeiMin Zhang XinMin Yin XiaoLong Wei Chen Wang 2015The Journal of Biomedical Research2015,29,2:4
9Multifunctional HDPE/CNTs/PW composite phase change materials with excellent thermal and electrical conductivities显示文摘The risk of leakage and low thermal conductivity severely hinder the wide application of phase change materials(PCMs).In this work,the high-density polyethylene/carbon nanotubes(HDPE/CNTs)porous scaffolds were successfully fabricated via a sacrificial template method followed by the general melt blending and water solvent etching.Subsequently,a series of paraffin wax HDPE/CNTs/PW composite PCMs were obtained combined with the simple vacuum impregnation method.The obtained HDPE/CNTs porous scaffolds can effectively avoid the leakage of PW,meanwhile,the thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity of HDPE/CNTs/PW-3:7 are increased by 2.94 times and 13 orders of magnitude compared with the HDPE/PW-3:7 respectively,also,it exhibits high phase change enthalpy(153.95 J/g for melting enthalpy and 152.82 J/g for crystallization enthalpy).From the above perspectives,the HDPE/CNTs/PW-3:7 has promising potential value in the application of light-to-thermal conversion,electro-to-thermal conversion and thermal energy storage.Xiaolong Li Xinxin Sheng Yongqiang Guo Xiang Lu Hao Wu Ying Chen Li Zhang Junwei Gu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,27:4
10Reputation repair and corporate donations:An investigation of responses to regulatory penalties显示文摘According to the risk management and reputation insurance theory of corporate social responsibility, corporate donations can help a company to repair its reputation after a crisis.This study uses a propensity score matching–difference in difference(PSM + DID) methodology to investigate the charitable donation activities of companies that have been subject to regulatory penalties.The analysis of a sample of A-share listed companies in the 2004–2016 period shows that companies significantly increase their charitable donations after regulatory penalties, but this effect weakens over time.Further analysis reveals that non-state-owned companies, companies with higher ownership concentrations, and companies receiving severer penalties are more motivated to make donations after regulatory penalties.By studying the reputation repair behavior of companies that have been subject to regulatory penalties, this study offers further support for the risk management and reputation insurance theory of corporate social responsibility.It also enriches our understanding of companies’ active responses to regulatory penalties and provides insights into companies’ motives for making charitable donations.Xue Xia Fei Teng Xiaolong Gu 2019China Journal of Accounting Research2019,,3:3

15The ligand coordination approach for improving the stability of low-mercury catalyst in the hydrochlorination of acetylene显示文摘Mercuric chloride supported on activated carbon(HgCl_2/AC) is used as an industrial catalyst for the hydrochlorination of acetylene. Loss of HgCl_2 by sublimating from the surface of activated carbon causes the irreversible deactivation of mercury catalyst and environmental pollution. In this work, a ligand coordination approach based on the Principle of Hard and Soft Acids and Bases(HSAB) was employed to design more stable lowmercury catalyst. The low-mercury catalysts(4% HgCl_2 loading) were prepared by using HgCl_2 and potassium halides(KX, X = Cl, I) as precursors. The HgCl_2-4KI/AC catalyst showed best catalytic stability than HgCl_2/AC and HgCl_2-4KCl/AC in the hydrochloriantion of acetylene. HgCl_2 could form more stable complex with KI,K_2HgI_4 as the main active component of the HgCl_2-4KI/AC catalyst. The characterizations of XRD and EDX analysis illustrated that the active component of HgCl_2-4KI/AC was highly dispersed on the surface of activated carbon.The sublimation rates of HgCl_2 from the catalysts verified that the active component with larger stability constant had better thermal stability. 16H3K27me3 Signal in the Cis Regulatory Elements Reveals the Differentiation Potential of Progenitors During Drosophila Neuroglial Development显示文摘Drosophila neural development undergoes extensive chromatin remodeling and precise epigenetic regulation.However,the roles of chromatin remodeling in establishment and maintenance of cell identity during cell fate transition remain enigmatic.Here,we compared the changes in gene expression,as well as the dynamics of nucleosome positioning and key histone modifications between the four major neural cell types during Drosophila neural development.We find that the neural progenitors can be separated from the terminally differentiated cells based on their gene expression profiles,whereas nucleosome distribution in the flanking regions of transcription start sites fails to identify the relationships between the progenitors and the differentiated cells.H3K27me3 signal in promoters and enhancers can not only distinguish the progenitors from the differentiated cells but also identify the differentiation path of the neural stem cells(NSCs)to the intermediate progenitor cells to the glial cells.In contrast,H3K9ac signal fails to identify the differentiation path,although it activates distinct sets of genes with neuron-specific and glia-related functions during the differentiation of the NSCs into neurons and glia,respectively.Together,our study provides novel insights into the crucial roles of chromatin remodeling in determining cell type during Drosophila neural development.Xiaolong Chen Youqiong Ye Liang Gu Jin Sun Yanhua Du Wen-Ju Liu Wei Li Xiaobai Zhang Cizhong Jiang 2019Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2019,17,3:1
17Collaborative Offloading Method for Digital Twin Empowered Cloud Edge Computing on Internet of Vehicles显示文摘Digital twinning and edge computing are attractive solutions to support computing-intensive and servicesensitive Internet of Vehicles applications.Most of the existing Internet of Vehicles service offloading solutions only consider edge–cloud collaboration,but the collaboration between small cell eNodeB(SCeNB)should not be ignored.Service delays far lower than offloading tasks to the cloud can be obtained through reasonable collaborative computing between nodes.The proposed framework realizes and maintains the simulation of collaboration between SCeNB nodes by constructing a digital twin that maintains SCeNB nodes in the central controller,thereby realizing user task offloading positions,sub-channel allocation,and computing resource allocation.Then an algorithm named AUC-AC is proposed,based on the dominant actor–critic network and the auction mechanism.In order to obtain a better command of global information,the convolutional block attention mechanism(CBAM)is used in the digital twin of each SCeNB node to observe its environment and learn strategies.Numerical results show that our experimental scheme is better than several baseline algorithms in terms of service delay.Linjie Gu Mengmeng Cui Linkun Xu Xiaolong Xu 2023Tsinghua Science and Technology2023,28,3:1

20Interfacial-Strain-Induced Structural and Polarization Evolutions in Epitaxial Multiferroic BiFeO_3(001) Thin Films显示文摘Varying the film thickness is a precise route to tune the interfacial strain to manipulate the properties of the multiferroic materials.Here,to explore the effects of the interfacial strain on the properties of the multiferroic BiFeO_3films,we investigated thickness-dependent structural and polarization evolutions of the BiFeO_3 films.The epitaxial growth with an atomic stacking sequence of BiO/TiO_2 at the interface was confirmed by scanning transmission electron microscopy.Combining X-ray diffraction experiments and first-principles calculations,a thickness-dependent structural evolution was observed from a fully strained tetragonality to a partially relaxed one without any structural phase transition or rotated twins.The tetragonality(c/a) of the BiFeO_3 films increases as the film thickness decreases,while the polarization is in contrast with this trend,and the size effect including the depolarization field plays a crucial role in this contradiction in thinner films.These findings offer an alternative strategy to manipulate structural and polarization properties by tuning the interfacial strain in epitaxial multiferroic thin films.郭海中 Ruiqiang Zhao Kui-juan Jin Lin Gu Dongdong Xiao Zhenzhong Yang Xiaolong Li Le Wang Xu He Junxing Gu Qian Wan Can Wang Huibin Lu Chen Ge Meng He Guozhen Yang 2015功能材料信息2015,12,3:1
