| 1 | Three pairs of alkaloid enantiomers from the root of Isatis indigotica显示文摘Three pairs of enantiomerically pure alkaloids with diverse structure features, named isatindigoticoic acid A and epiisatindigoticoic acid A [(—)-1 and(+)-1], phaitanthrin A and epiphaitanthrin A [(—)-2 and(+)-2], and isatindopyrromizol A and epiisatindopyrromizol A [(—)-3and(+)-3], respectively, were isolated from an aqueous extract of the roots of Isatis indigotica. Racemic and scalemic mixtures of these enantiomers were separated by HPLC on a chiral semi-preparative column.Their structures including absolute configurations were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis in conjunction with the calculation of electronic circular dichroism(ECD) spectra. The enantiomer pairs possess parent structures of 2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline-4-carboxylic acid, indolo[2,1-b]quinazolinone, and 3-thioxohexahydro-1H-pyrrolo[1,2-c]imidazol-1-one, respectively. | 3 | Identification and primary genetic analysis of Arabidopsis stomatal mutants in response to multiple stresses显示文摘In response to variable environmental conditions, guard cells located in the leaf epidermis can integrate and cope with a multitude of complicated stimuli, thereby making stomata in an appro- priate state. However, many signaling components in guard cell signaling remain elusive. In our laboratory, a tool for non-invasive remote infrared thermal images was used to screen an ethyl methane sulfonate-mutagenized population for Arabidopsis stomatal response mutants under multiple stresses (ABA, H2O2, CO2, etc.). More than forty 'hot' or 'cold' mutants were isolated (above or below 0.5℃ in con- trast to normal plantlets). Identification and primary genetic analysis of these mutants show that they are monogenic recessive mutations and there exist distinct difference in stomata apertures compared to wild type. | 6 | Mutation profile and its correlation with clinicopathology in Chinese hepatocellular carcinoma patients显示文摘Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common causes of cancer worldwide.Although many studies have focused on oncogene characteristics,the genomic landscape of Chinese HCC patients has not been fully clarified.Methods:A total of 165 HCC patients,including 146 males and 19 females,were enrolled.The median age was 55 years(range,27-78 years).Corresponding clinical and pathological information was collected for further analysis.A total of 168 tumor tissues from these patients were selected for next-generation sequencing(NGS)-based 450 panel gene sequencing.Genomic alterations including single nucleotide variations(SNV),short and long insertions and deletions(InDels),copy number variations,and gene rearrangements were analyzed.Tumor mutational burden(TMB)was measured by an algorithm developed in-house.The top quartile of HCC was classified as TMB high.Results:A total of 1,004 genomic alterations were detected from 258 genes in 168 HCC tissues.TMB values were identified in 160 HCC specimens,with a median TMB of 5.4 Muts/Mb(range,0-28.4 Muts/Mb)and a 75%TMB of 7.7 Muts/Mb.The most commonly mutated genes were TP53,TERT,CTNNB1,AXIN1,RB1,TSC2,CCND1,ARID1A,and FGF19.SNV was the most common mutation type and C:G>T:A and guanine transformation were the most common SNVs.Compared to wild-type patients,the proportion of Edmondson grade III-IV and microvascular invasion was significantly higher in TP53 mutated patients(P<0.05).The proportion of tumors invading the hepatic capsule was significantly higher in TERT mutated patients(P<0.05).The proportion of Edmondson grade I-II,alpha fetoprotein(AFP)<25μmg/L,and those without a history of hepatitis B was significantly higher in CTNNB1 mutated patients(P<0.05).CTNNB1 mutations were associated with TMB high in HCC patients(P<0.05).Based on correlation analysis,the mutation of TP53 was independently correlated with microvascular invasion(P=0.002,OR=3.096)and Edmondson grade III-IV(P=0.008,OR=2.613).The mutation of TERT was independently correlated with tumor invasion of the liver capsule(P=0.001,OR=3.030),and the mutation of CTNNB1 was independently correlated with AFP(<25μmg/L)(P=0.009,OR=3.414).Conclusions:The most frequently mutated genes of HCC patients in China were TP53,TERT,and CTNNB1,which mainly lead to the occurrence and development of HCC by regulating the P53 pathway,Wnt pathway,and telomere repair pathway.There were more patients with microvascular invasion and Edmondson III-IV grade in TP53 mutated patients and more patients with hepatic capsule invasion in TERT mutated patients,while in CTNNB1 mutated patients,there were more patients with Edmondson I-II grade,AFP<25μmg/L,and a non-hepatitis B background.Also,the TMB values were significantly higher in CTNNB1 mutated patients than in wild type patients. | Shuo Wang Huasheng Shi Tao Liu Manjiang Li Sanshun Zhou Xuan Qiu Zusen Wang Weiyu Hu Weidong Guo Xiaoqian Chen Honglin Guo Xiaoliang Shi Junping Shi Yunjin Zang Jingyu Cao Liqun Wu | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,2: | 8 |
| 7 | Nanoimprint lithography for the manufacturing of flexible electronics显示文摘Flexible electronics have received considerable attention in academies and industries for their promising applications in enormous fields, such as flexible displays, wearable sensors, artificial skins, and flexible energy devices. Challenges remain in developing a flexible and scalable manufacturing method to facilitate the fabrication of multi-functional structures in a flexible electronic system. Nanoimprint lithography is a high resolution and low-cost approach to fabricate nanostructures over a large area. This paper reviews recent progress of nanoimprint lithography and its applications in flexible electronics. The basic principles, classification, research focus, and critical issues of nanoimprint lithography are elaborated. Then, the advantages of nanoimprint lithography are demonstrated in several typical applications related to flexible electronics, including conductive films, optoelectronic devices, flexible sensors, energy harvesting and storage devices, and bioinspired electronic devices. | 8 | Modified Multi-Key Fully Homomorphic Encryption Based on NTRU Cryptosystem without Key-Switching显示文摘The Multi-Key Fully Homomorphic Encryption (MKFHE) based on the NTRU cryptosystem is an important alternative to the post-quantum cryptography due to its simple scheme form,high efficiency,and fewer ciphertexts and keys.In 2012,Lopez-Alt et al.proposed the first NTRU-type MKFHE scheme,the LTV12 scheme,using the key-switching and modulus-reduction techniques,whose security relies on two assumptions:the Ring Learning With Error (RLWE) assumption and the Decisional Small Polynomial Ratio (DSPR) assumption.However,the LTV12and subsequent NTRU-type schemes are restricted to the family of power-of-2 cyclotomic rings,which may affect the security in the case of subfield attacks.Moreover,the key-switching technique of the LTV12 scheme requires a circular application of evaluation keys,which causes rapid growth of the error and thus affects the circuit depth.In this paper,an NTRU-type MKFHE scheme over prime cyclotomic rings without key-switching is proposed,which has the potential to resist the subfield attack and decrease the error exponentially during the homomorphic evaluating process.First,based on the RLWE and DSPR assumptions over the prime cyclotomic rings,a detailed analysis of the factors affecting the error during the homomorphic evaluations in the LTV12 scheme is provided.Next,a Low Bit Discarded&Dimension Expansion of Ciphertexts (LBD&DEC) technique is proposed,and the inherent homomorphic multiplication decryption structure of the NTRU is proposed,which can eliminate the key-switching operation in the LTV12 scheme.Finally,a leveled NTRU-type MKFHE scheme is developed using the LBD&DEC and modulus-reduction techniques.The analysis shows that the proposed scheme compared to the LTV12 scheme can decrease the magnitude of the error exponentially and minimize the dimension of ciphertexts. | Xiaoliang Che Tanping Zhou Ningbo Li Haonan Zhou Zhenhua Chen Xiaoyuan Yang | 2020 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2020,25,5: | 6 |

| 10 | Effects of fluoxetine on protein expression of potassium ion channels in the brain of chronic mild stress rats显示文摘The purpose of this study is to investigate the expression of major potassium channel subtypes in the brain of chronical mild stress(CMS) rats and reveal the effects of fluoxetine on the expression of these channels. Rats were exposed to a variety of unpredictable stress for three weeks and induced anhedonia, lower sucrose preference, locomotor activity and lower body weight. The protein expressions were determined by Western blot. CMS significantly increased the expression of Kv2.1 channel in frontal cortex but not in hippocampus, and the expression level was normalized after fluoxetine treatment. The expression of TREK-1 channel was also obviously increased in frontal cortex in CMS rats. Fluoxetine treatment might prevent this increase. However, the expression of Kv3.1 and Kv4.2 channels was considerably decreased in hippocampus after CMS, and was not affected by fluoxetine. | 12 | Uplift mechanism for a shallow-buried structure in liquefi able sand subjected to seismic load: centrifuge model test and DEM modeling显示文摘Based on a centrifuge model test and distinct element method(DEM), this study provides new insights into the uplift response of a shallow-buried structure and the liquefaction mechanism for saturated sand around the structure under seismic action. In the centrifuge test, a high-speed microscopic camera was installed in the structure model, by which the movements of particles around the structure were monitored. Then, a two-dimensional digital image processing technology was used to analyze the microstructure of saturated sand during the shaking event. Herein, a numerical simulation of the centrifuge experiment was conducted using a two-phase(solid and fl uid) fully coupled distinct element code. This code incorporates a particle-fl uid coupling model by means of a 'fi xed coarse-grid' fl uid scheme in PFC3D(Particle Flow Code in Three Dimensions), with the modeling parameters partially calibrated based on earlier studies. The physical and numerical models both indicate the uplifts of the shallow-buried structure and the sharp rise in excess pore pressure. The corresponding micro-scale responses and explanations are provided. Overall, the uplift response of an underground structure and the occurrence of liquefaction in saturated sand are predicted successfully by DEM modeling. | 14 | TiO_2-doped Fe_3O_4 nanoparticles as high-performance Fenton-like catalyst for dye decoloration显示文摘Fenton reaction based on Fe2+-H2O2 system has been widely applied in water remediation, but the obvious drawbacks largely hinder its practical uses. Alternatively, heterogeneous nanomaterials with proper surface modification could be used as Fenton-like catalysts. Surface doping of Ti O2 could concentrate the pollutants surrounding the Fe3O4 catalyst, which might benefit the catalytic performance of Fe3O4. Herein, we reported that Ti O2-doped Fe3O4 nanoparticles(NPs) could be used as high-performance Fenton-like catalyst for dye decoloration in near neutral environment, where the doping of Ti O2 on Fe3O4 surface dramatically improved the catalytic activity of Fe3O4 in Fenton-like reaction. Ti O2-doped Fe3O4 NPs catalyzed the decomposition of H2O2 to oxidize methylene blue without external energy supply, resulting in effective decoloration. Ti O2-doped Fe3O4 NPs showed high catalytic activity under various p H values and even in the presence of radical scavenger. More catalysts and H2O2 would facilitate the decoloration. At higher temperature, the decoloration became faster and more effective. | 15 | Controlled fabrication of nanoscale wrinkle structure by fluorocarbon plasma for highly transparent triboelectric nanogenerator显示文摘In this paper,we report a novel nanoscale wrinkle-structure fabrication process using fluorocarbon plasma on poly(dimethylsiloxane)(PDMS)and Solaris membranes.Wrinkles with wavelengths of hundreds of nanometers were obtained on these two materials,showing that the fabrication process was universally applicable.By varying the plasma-treating time,the wavelength of the wrinkle structure could be controlled.Highly transparent membranes with wrinkle patterns were obtained when the plasmatreating time was o125 s.The transmittances of these membranes were 490%in the visible region,making it difficult to distinguish them from a flat membrane.The deposited fluorocarbon polymer also dramatically reduced the surface energy,which allowed us to replicate the wrinkle pattern with high precision onto other membranes without any surfactant coating.The combined advantages of high electron affinity and high transparency enabled the fabricated membrane to improve the performance of a triboelectric nanogenerator.This nanoscale,single-step,and universal wrinkle-pattern fabrication process,with the functionality of high transparency and ultra-low surface energy,shows an attractive potential for future applications in microand nanodevices,especially in transparent energy harvesters. | Xiaoliang Cheng Liming Miao Zongming Su Haotian Chen Yu Song Xuexian Chen Haixia Zhang | 2017 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2017,3,1: | 3 |
| 16 | Improvement of the lateral stability of vehicle suspension incorporating inerter显示文摘As a newly proposed two terminals mechanical element, inerter has been successfully applied in vehicle suspension system to improve its vertical vibration isolation performance. The novelty of this paper is to explore the advantages of lateral stability of vehicle suspension by the use of inerter element. A full car model considering the steering condition is built, and the standard fishhook steering input is chosen to test the lateral stability of the suspension system. By considering the ride comfort performance and the rollover resistance performance, three basic suspension layouts incorporating inerter element are optimized by means of genetic algorithm. Constraints of the suspension working space and road holding ability are also taken into account during the optimization. Two steering input condition, namely the sine-steer input and the fishhook steer input are performed to evaluate the vehicle suspension performance. Abdominal withdrawal reflex test, open field test, and intestinal motility test were used to evaluate visceral sensitivity, anxiety,and intestinal motility in mice. The expressions of NLRP6, Mucin-2(MUC2) and E-cadherin were determined using immunofluorescence and Western blotting assays.RESULTS: EA significantly upregulated the expression of NLRP6 in the intestine of mice.
