1Online Learning Control for Hybrid Electric Vehicle显示文摘Improvements in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) fuel economy and emissions heavily depend on an efficient energy management strategy (EMS).However,the uncertainty of future driving conditions generally cannot be easily tackled in EMS design.Most existing EMSs act upon fixed parameters and cannot adapt to varying driving conditions.Therefore,they usually fail to fully explore the potential of these advanced vehicles.In this paper,a novel EMS design procedure based on neural dynamic programming (NDP) is proposed.The NDP is a generic online learning algorithm,which combines stochastic dynamic programming (SDP) and the temporal difference (TD) method.Instead of computing the utility function and optimal control actions through Bellman equations,the NDP algorithm uses two neural networks to approximate them.The weights of these neural networks are updated online by the TD method.It avoids the high computational cost that SDP suffers from and is suitable for real-time implementation.The main advantages of NDP EMS is that it does not rely on prior information related to future driving conditions,and can self-tune with a wide variance in operating conditions.The NDP EMS has been applied to 'Qianghua-I',a prototype of a parallel HEV,using a revolving drum test bench for verification.Experiment results illustrate the potential of the proposed EMS in terms of fuel economy and in keeping state of charge (SOC) deviations at a low level.The proposed research ensures the optimality of NDP EMS,as well as real-time applicability.LI Weimin XU Guoqing XU Yangsheng 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,1:12
2Experiments on mechanical properties of salt rocks under cyclic loading显示文摘The primary purpose of underground gas storages is to provide gas for seasonal consumptions or strategic reserve.The periodical operations of gas injection and extraction lead to cyclic loading on the walls and surrounding rocks of gas storages.To investigate the mechanical behaviors of different host rocks in bedded salt deposit,laboratory experiments were conducted on the samples of rock salt,thenardite,glauberite and gypsum.The mechanical properties of rock samples under monotonic and cyclic loadings were studied.Testing results show that,under monotonic loading,the uniaxial compressive stress(UCS) of glauberite is the largest(17.3 MPa),while that of rock salt is the smallest(14.0 MPa).The UCSs of thenardite and gypsum are 16.3 and 14.6 MPa,respectively.The maximum strain at the peak strength of rock salt(halite) is much greater than those of the other three rocks.The elastic moduli of halite,thenardite,glauberite and gypsum are 3.0,4.2,5.1 and 6.8 GPa,respectively.Under cyclic loading,the peak strengths of the rock specimens are deteriorated except for rock salt.The peak strengths of thenardite,glauberite and gypsum decrease by 33.7%,19.1% and 35.5%,respectively;and the strains of the three rocks at the peak strengths are almost the same.However,the strain of rock salt at the peak strength increases by 1.98%,twice more than that under monotonic loading.Under monotonic loading,deformation of the tested rock salt,thenardite and glauberite shows in an elastoplastic style.However,it changes to a ductile style under cyclic loading.Brittle deformation and failure are only observed for gypsum.The results should be helpful for engineering design and operation of gas storage in bedded salt deposit.Weiguo Liang Chuanda Zhang Hongbo Gao Xiaoqin Yang Suguo Xu Yangsheng Zhao 2012Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2012,4,1:8

112,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin promotes migration ability of primary cultured rat astrocytes via aryl hydrocarbon receptor显示文摘Emerging evidence showed that 2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin(TCDD) could induce expression of certain reactivation-associated genes in astrocytes, however, the consequent cellular effects and molecular mechanisms are still unclear. During the process of astrocyte reactivation, migration is a critical cellular event. In the present study, we employed woundhealing assay and Transwell? motility assay to explore the effects of TCDD on cell migration in primary cultured rat cortical astrocytes. We found that upon TCDD treatments at relative low concentrations(10^(-10) and/or 10^(-9) mol/L), the ability of primary astrocytes to migrate horizontally and vertically was promoted. In line with this cellular effect, the mR NA expression of two promigratory genes, including cell division cycle 42(CDC42) and matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)was induced by TCDD treatment. Dioxin exerts its toxic effects mainly through aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR) pathway. So the role of AhR pathway in the pro-migratory effects of TCDD was examined using an AhR antagonist, CH223191. We found that application of CH223191 significantly reversed the pro-migratory effects of TCDD. Interestingly, the basal ability of horizontal migration as well as basal levels of CDC42 and MMP2 expression were dramatically reduced suggesting a possible physiological role of AhR in maintaining the endogenous migration ability of the primary astrocytes.
