| 1 | Analysis on the hourly spatiotemporal complementarities between China's solar and wind energy resources spreading in a wide area显示文摘China is rich in solar and wind energy resources,of which the proportion of China's power sources has been rapidly increasing.Such fluctuating and intermittent energy sources will bring significant challenges to the safe and stable operation power system.However,making use of the spatiotemporal complementarities between different renewable energy resources is a feasible way to level fluctuating power especially when they have a widely geographical dispersion.Based on the data provided by China Meteorological Administration(CMA),this research explores the spatiotemporal complementarities between wind and solar energy resources.This paper nondimensionalizes hourly wind speed and global solar radiation data and employs several indexes to compare the smoothing effect with various combining scenarios.The results show that combining wind and solar powers within a certain area can cause a fall of zero-power or very-full power hours.Besides,combining different resources improves 'smoothness' in power output when compared with that from each individual resource.However,under hourly time scale,when the dispersion of sites is large enough,the smoothing effect of combining the dispersed wind power is very close to the combination of those two different resources.Nevertheless,this complementary effect is much better than that of just combining solar energy resources. | LIU Yi XIAO LiYe WANG HaiFeng DAI ShaoTao QI ZhiPing | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,7: | 14 |
| 2 | Application of high magnetic fields in advanced materials processing显示文摘Recently,steady magnetic fields avail-able from cryogen-free superconducting magnets open up new ways to process materials. In this paper,the main results obtained by using a high magnetic field to process several advanced materials are re-viewed. These processed objects primarily include superconducting,magnetic,metallic and nanome-ter-scaled materials. It has been found that a high magnetic field can effectively align grains when fab-ricating the magnetic and non-magnetic materials and make inclusions migrate in a molten metal. | 13 | Chemical Composition of Special Glutinous Rice and Its Effect on the Quality of Brewed Wine显示文摘The chemical composition of 8 different special glutinous rice varieties was analyzed,and its effects on the physical and chemical properties of the wines brewed were investigated. The correlations between major chemical constituents and quality of glutinous rice were analyzed. The results show that the contents of the major chemical constituents in the special glutinous rice varieties were not much different,and they all ranked as starch’s > protein’s > fat’s. After 4-8 weeks of fermentation,the total acidity decreased with time( excepting Heixiangnuo),the total residual sugar reduced significantly,and the alcohol content increased significantly. The correlations between starch content of glutinous rice and physical and chemical indices and sensory quality of its brewed wine were not significant. There are positive correlations between protein content and various indices,and the correlation with total acidity reached the significant level. | 15 | Investigation on the Novel High-performance Copper/Graphene Composite Conductor for High Power Density Motor显示文摘High-performance Cu/Graphene composite wire synergistically strengthened by nano Cr_(3)C_(2) phase was directly synthesized via hot press sintering followed by severe cold plastic deformation, using liquid paraffin and CuCr alloy powder as the raw materials. Since graphene is in situ formed under the catalysis of copper powder during the sintering process, the problem that graphene is easy to agglomerate and difficult to disperse uniformly in the copper matrix has been solved. The nano Cr_(3)C_(2)-particles nailed at the interface favor to improve the interface bonding. The Cu/Graphene composite possesses high electrical conductivity, hardness, and plasticity. The composite wire exhibits high electrical conductivity of 96.93% IACS, great tensile strength of 488MPa, and excellent resistance to softening. Even after annealing at 400℃ for 1 h, the tensile strength can still reach 268 MPa with a conductivity of about 99.14% IACS.The wire's temperature coefficient of resistance(TCR) is largely reduced to 0.0035/℃ due to the complex structure,which leads the wire to present low resistivity at higher temperatures. | 17 | Faulty Feeder Identification in Resonant Grounding Distribution Networks Based on Deep Learning and Transfer Learning显示文摘Identification of faulty feeders in resonant grounding distribution networks remains a significant challenge dueto the weak fault current and complicated working conditions.In this paper, we present a deep learning-based multi-labelclassification framework to reliably distinguish the faulty feeder.Three different neural networks (NNs) including the multilayerperceptron, one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1DCNN), and 2D CNN are built. However, the labeled data maybe difficult to obtain in the actual environment. We use thesimplified simulation model based on a full-scale test field (FSTF)to obtain sufficient labeled source data. Being different frommost learning-based methods, assuming that the distribution ofsource domain and target domain is identical, we propose asamples-based transfer learning method to improve the domainadaptation by using samples in the source domain with properweights. The TrAdaBoost algorithm is adopted to update theweights of each sample. The recorded data obtained in the FSTFare utilized to test the domain adaptability. According to ourvalidation and testing, the validation accuracies are high whenthere is sufficient labeled data for training the proposed NNs.The proposed 2D CNN has the best domain adaptability. TheTrAdaBoost algorithm can help the NNs to train an efficientclassifier that has better domain adaptation. | 18 | UBQLN1 mediates sorafenib resistance through regulating mitochondrial biogenesis and ROS homeostasis by targeting PGCip in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘The treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is promising in recent years,but still facing critical challenges.The first targeted therapy,sorafenib,prolonged the overall survival by months.However,resistance often occurs,largely limits its efficacy.Sorafenib was found to target the electron transport chain complexes,which results in the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS).To maintain sorafenib resistance and further facilitate tumor progression,cancer cells develop strategies to overcome excessive ROS production and obtain resistance to oxidative stress-induced cell death.In the present study,we investigated the roles of ROS in sorafenib resistance,and found suppressed ROS levels and reductive redox states in sorafenib-resistant HCC cells.Mitochondria in sorafenib-resistant cells maintained greater functional and morphological integrity under the treatment of sorafenib.However,cellular oxygen consumption rate and mitochondria DNA content analyses revealed fewer numbers of mitochondria in sorafenib-resistant cells.Further investigation attributed this finding to decreased mitochondrial biogenesis,likely caused by the accelerated degradation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor y coactivator ip(PGC1P).Mechanistic dissection showed that upregulated UBQLN1 induced PGCip degradation in a ubiquitination-independent manner to attenuate mitochondrial biogenesis and ROS production in sorafenib-resistant cells under sorafenib treatment.Furthermore,clinical investigations further indicated that the patients with higher UBQLN1 levels experienced worse recurrence-free survival.In conclusion,we propose a novel mechanism involving mitochondrial biogenesis and ROS homeostasis in sorafenib resistance,which may offer new therapeutic targets and strategies for HCC patients. | Junjie Xu Lin Ji Yeling Ruan Zhe Wan Zhongjie Lin Shunjie Xia Liye Tao Junhao Zheng Liuxin Cai Yifan Wang Xiao Liang Xiujun Cai | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,6: | 0 |
