1Effect of Reclamation Time and Land Use on Soil Properties in Changjiang River Estuary,China显示文摘The objective of this study is to analyze soil physical and chemical properties,soil comprehensive functions and impact factors after different years of reclamation.Based on the survey data taken from 216 soil sampling points in the Fengxian Reclamation Area of the Changjiang (Yangtze) River Estuary,China in April 2009 and remotely sensed TM data in 2006,while by virtue of multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA),geo-statistical analysis (GA),prin-cipal component analysis (PCA) and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA),it was concluded that:1) With the in-crease in reclamation time,soil moisture,soil salinity,soil electric conductivity and soil particle size tended to decline,yet soil organic matter tended to increase.Soil available phosphorous tended to increase in the early reclamation period,yet it tended to decline after about 49 years of reclamation.Soil nitrate nitrogen,soil ammonia nitrogen and pH changed slightly in different reclamation years.Soil physical and chemical properties reached a steady state after about 30 years of reclamation.2) According to the results of PCA analysis,the weighted value (0.97 in total) that represents soil nutrient factors (soil nitrate nitrogen,soil organic matter,soil available phosphorous,soil ammonia nitrogen,pH and soil particle size) were higher than the weighted value (0.48 in total) of soil limiting factors (soil salinity,soil elec-tric conductivity and soil moisture).The higher the F value is,the better the soil quality is.3) Different land use types play different roles in the soil function maturity process,with farmlands providing the best contribution.4) Soil physi-cal and chemical properties in the reclamation area were mainly influenced by reclamation time,and then by land use types.The correlation (0.1905) of the composite index of soil function (F) with reclamation time was greater than that with land use types (-0.1161).SUN Yongguang LI Xiuzhen ülo MANDER HE Yanlong JIA Yue MA Zhigang GUO Wenyong XIN Zaijun 2011Chinese Geographical Science2011,21,4:17
2Effect and Prospect of Basic Geological Survey Based on Airborne Gravimetry in China显示文摘The airborne gravimetry was an important leap and innovation in the world's history of geophysical exploration.China's first test of the airborne gravity geological survey in the onshore-offshore transitional area of the western and southern part of the Bohai Sea was successful and effective in geology.Based on the airborne gravity data,and combining previous ground gravity,seismic and drilling data etc.,we carried out the geological interpretation by forward and inverse methods.The result shows that the airborne Bouguer gravity anomaly was clear,the fracture interpretation was reliable,and the inversion depth of the main geological interfaces was relatively accurate.This airborne gravity geological survey not only filled the exploring gaps in the onshore-offshore transitional area,and realized the geological and tectonic junction between the sea and the land,but also discovered four local gravity anomalies,11 fractures and three sags or subsags,and so on.The good geological effect of airborne gravimetry not restricted by terrain condition shows that it can be served as a new geophysical method in the exploration of complex terrain physiognomy area such as mountain,jungle,desert,marsh,onshore-offshore transitional area and so on,and has an extensive application prospect in China in the future.LI Wenyong ZHOU Jianxin XIONG Shengqing GUO Zhihong LU Wenfen XU Jianchun LIU Yanxu 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1:11
3Physical modeling of spent-nuclearfuel container显示文摘A new physical simulation model was developed to simulate the casting process of the ductile iron heavy section spent-nuclear-fuel container.In this physical simulation model,a heating unit with DR24 Fe-Cr-Al heating wires was used to compensate the heat loss across the non-natural surfaces of the sample,and a precise and reliable casting temperature controlling/monitoring system was employed to ensure the thermal behavior of the simulated casting to be similar to the actual casting.Also,a mould system was designed,in which changeable mould materials can be used for both the outside and inside moulds for different applications.The casting test was carried out with the designed mould and the cooling curves of central and edge points at different isothermal planes of the casting were obtained.Results show that for most isothermal planes,the temperature control system can keep the temperature differences within 6 ℃ between the edge points and the corresponding center points,indicating that this new physical simulation model has high simulation accuracy,and the mould developed can be used for optimization of casting parameters of spent-nuclear-fuel container,such as composition of ductile iron,the pouring temperature,the selection of mould material and design of cooling system.In addition,to maintain the spheroidalization of the ductile iron,the force-chilling should be used for the current physical simulation to ensure the solidification of casting in less than 2 h.Wang Liping Guo Erjun Jiang Wenyong Xue Muyu Liu Dongrong Ren Shanzhi 2012China Foundry2012,9,4:5
4Theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in inertial-confinement fusion implosions显示文摘Inertial fusion energy(IFE)has been considered a promising,nearly inexhaustible source of sustainable carbon-free power for the world's energy future.It has long been recognized that the control of hydrodynamic instabilities is of critical importance for ignition and high-gain in the inertial-confinement fusion(ICF)hot-spot ignition scheme.In this mini-review,we summarize the progress of theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in the ICF central hot-spot implosion in our group over the past decade.In order to obtain sufficient understanding of the growth of hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF,we first decompose the problem into different stages according to the implosion physics processes.The decomposed essential physics processes that are associated with ICF implosions,such as Rayleigh-Taylor instability(RTI),Richtmyer-Meshkov instability(RMI),Kelvin-Helmholtz instability(KHI),convergent geometry effects,as well as perturbation feed-through are reviewed.Analytical models in planar,cylindrical,and spherical geometries have been established to study different physical aspects,including density-gradient,interface-coupling,geometry,and convergent effects.The influence of ablation in the presence of preheating on the RTI has been extensively studied by numerical simulations.The KHI considering the ablation effect has been discussed in detail for the first time.A series of single-mode ablative RTI experiments has been performed on the Shenguang-Ⅱlaser facility.The theoretical and simulation research provides us the physical insights of linear and weakly nonlinear growths,and nonlinear evolutions of the hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF implosions,which has directly supported the research of ICF ignition target design.The ICF hot-spot ignition implosion design that uses several controlling features,based on our current understanding of hydrodynamic instabilities,to address shell implosion stability,has been briefly described,several of which are novel.LiFeng Wang WenHua Ye XianTu He JunFeng Wu ZhengFeng Fan Chuang Xue HongYu Guo WenYong Miao YongTeng Yuan JiaQin Dong Guo Jia Jing Zhang YingJun Li Jie Liu Min Wang YongKun Ding WeiYan Zhang 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,5:4
5Quantitative evaluation of sustainable development based on ecological footprint method: a case study of Tianjin显示文摘Since the concept of sustainable development emerged in the late 1980s, more and more countries and re-gions have been utilizing sustainable development as their developing strategy. But decades have passed without any effective methods available to quantitatively assess sustainable development. Since the ecological footprint evalua-tion method initiated in 1992, it has become popular in quantitative assessment of sustainable development because of its convenience, easy-understanding, and reliability. As one of the biggest coastal cities in north China and the economic center of the Bohai Coastal Region, Tianjin's gross domestic product (GDP) was 369.762 billion yuan in 2005, accounting for 2.0% of the whole nation's GDP. The paper analyzes Tianjin's development with the ecological footprint method, and the results show that Tianjin's ecological footprint and biocapacity in 2005 were 2.507gha/cap and 0.276gha/cap respectively. The ecological defi cit was 2.230gha/cap. And from 1980 to 2005, Tianjin's ecologi-cal defi cit per 104 yuan GDP decreased; while per capita ecological def icit has been tending to increase rapidly in recent years. 6Influence of Shot Peening Treatment on the Fatigue and Corrosion Resisting Properties of 2Cr13 Stainless Steel显示文摘In the present paper,shot peening treatments were used to strengthen the steel surface,and the influence on the fatigue and corrosion resisting properties of 2Cr13 stainless steel was examined.The residual stress and the surface roughness were investigated by XRD and AFM.The characteristics of fatigue and corrosion resistance have also been analyzed by bending fatigue and salt spray tests.The result reveals that the fatigue limit of the samples is improved dramatically with the increasing of the peening strength by 7.5%.Meanwhile,the peenging angle has no evident influence on the fatigue properties.Compared with the untreated samples,the acid corrosion weight loss of the samples after the shot peening treatment is decreased almost by 90%.From the above experimental results proper shot peening would improve not only the fatigue property but also the corrosion resistance of 2Cr13-typed stainless steel.Liu Mingxia Zhang Haicun Liu Daoxin Han Zengfu Zhi Jinhua Guo Wenyong Zhou Yafeng 2012稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1:2
7Ferroptosis promotes T-cell activation-induced neurodegeneration in multiple sclerosis显示文摘While many drugs are effective at reducing the relapse frequency of multiple sclerosis (MS), there is an unmet need for treatments that slow neurodegeneration resulting from secondary disease progression. The mechanism of neurodegeneration in MS has not yet been established. Here, we discovered a potential pathogenetic role of ferroptosis, an iron-dependent regulated cell death mechanism, in MS. We found that critical ferroptosis proteins (acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4, ACSL4) were altered in an existing genomic database of MS patients, and biochemical features of ferroptosis, including lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and mitochondrial shrinkage, were observed in the experimental autoimmune encephalitis (EAE) mouse model. Targeting ferroptosis with ferroptosis inhibitors or reducing ACSL4 expression improved the behavioral phenotypes of EAE mice, reduced neuroinflammation, and prevented neuronal death. We found that ferroptosis was an early event in EAE, which may promote T-cell activation through T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling in vitro and in vivo. 8Impact Factors on Distribution and Characteristics of Natural Plant Community in Reclamation Zones of Changjiang River Estuary显示文摘To identify impact factors on the distribution and characters of natural plants community in reclamation area, with survey data from 67 plant quadrats in July 2009, soil properties data from 216 sampling points in April 2009, and TM (30 m) data in 2006, the composition and characteristics of natural plants community in different time of the Fengxian area in the Changjiang (Yangtze) River estuary were analyzed with two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN), multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), detrended canonical correspondence analysis (DCCA) and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA). The results show that: 1) The plant communities in the reclaimed area are mainly mesophytes and helophytic-mesophytic transitional communities, showing a gradient distribution trend with the change in reclamation years. Species richness (MA), species diversity (H) and above-ground biomass also increase with the increase of reclamation years. Nevertheless, they appear to decline slightly in the middle and late reclamation period (> 30 years). 2) With the rise in land use levels, the changes in species richness and species diversity tend to increase at first and then decrease; species dominance (D), however, tends to decline; and above-ground biomass increases slightly. 3) The distribution of the plant community is mainly influenced by the following factors: land use levels (R = 0.55, p < 0.05), soil moisture (R = 0.53, p < 0.05), soil salinity (R = 0.43, p < 0.05) and reclamation time (R = 0.40, p < 0.05).SUN Yongguang LI Xiuzhen HE Yanlong JIA Yue MA Zhigang GUO Wenyong XIN Zaijun 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,2:2

13Wavelength-tunable organic semiconductor lasers based on elastic distributed feedback gratings显示文摘Wavelength-tunable organic semiconductor lasers based on mechanically stretchable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) gratings were developed. The intrinsic stretchability of PDMS was explored to modulate the period of the distributed feedback gratings for fine tuning the lasing wavelength. Notably, elastic lasers based on three typical light-emitting molecules show com-parable lasing threshold values analogous to rigid devices and a continuous wavelength tunability of about 10 nm by mechanic-al stretching. In addition, the stretchability provides a simple solution for dynamically tuning the lasing wavelength in a spec-tral range that is challenging to achieve for inorganic counterparts. 14Efect of residual Al content on microstructure and mechanical properties of Grade B+Steel for castings for locomotives显示文摘The bogie made of Grade B+ steel is one of the most important parts of heavy haul trains. Some accidents were found to be the result of fracture failure of the bogies. It is very important to find the reason why the fracture failure occurred. Because Al was added for the final deoxidation during the smelting process of the Grade B+Steel, residual Al existed to some extent in the castings. High residual Al content in the bogie casting was presumed to be the reason for the fracture. In this work, the influence of residual Al content in the range of 0.015wt.% to 0.3wt.% on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Grade B+ Steel was studied. The experimental results showed that when the residual Al content is between 0.02wt.% and 0.20wt.%, the mechanical properties of the steel meet the requirements of technical specification for heavy haul train parts, and the fracture is typical plastic fractures. If the residual Al content is less than 0.02wt.%, the microstructures are coarse, and the mechanical properties can not meet the demand of bogie steel castings. When the residual Al content is more than 0.2wt.%, the elongation, reduction of area, and low-temperature impact energy markedly deteriorate. The fracture mode then changes from plastic fracture to cleavage brittle fracture. Therefore, the amount of Al addition for the final deoxidation during the smelting process must be strictly controlled. 15Application of the Same-Stuff and Equal-Strength Laser Cladding Technology on the Repaired Semishrouded Impeller显示文摘0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb powder was used to investigate the same-stuff laser repair(LR)technology on the semishrounded impeller.To improve the repaired effect,heat treatment was used after LR forming process.By means of optical microscopy,scan electron microscopy(SEM),micro-hardness tester and tensile tests,the microstructure of the coating was investigated and mechanical properties were measured.The experimental results show that cladding layer is well bonded to the substrate,the microstructure of the laser repaired zone(LRZ)is coarse martensite which will be refined after heat-treatment.The mechanical property experiments indicate that the micro-hardness and toughness would be increased after heat-treatment,the strength of LRZ after heat-treatment is 1050~1200 MPa,while the strength of normal laser repaired sample is 1000~1050 MPa.The refinement effect due to the heat treatment plays an important role in the improvement of the mechanical properties of samples.Overspeed examination and the real operation of the impeller after repairing also confirmed the reliability of this same-stuff and equal-strength laser cladding technology.Zhang Haicun Liu Mingxia Liu Daoxin Guo Wenyong Zhi Jinhua Zhou Yafeng 2012稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1:0
16Using multiple site-directed modification of epoxide hydrolase to significantly improve its enantioselectivity in hydrolysis of rac-glycidyl phenyl ether显示文摘The epoxide hydrolase gene(SpEH) from Sphingomonas sp. HXN-200 was synthesized and expressed in robust Escherichia coli cells that had a dual protection system. The enantioselectivity(E-value) of the recombinant SpEH was 7.7 and the yield of the remaining(R)-PGE was 24.3% for the hydrolysis of racemic phenyl glycidyl ether(rac-PGE). To improve the catalytic properties of SpEH, the site-directed mutagenesis was carried out based on homology modeling, sequence alignment and molecular docking. Six residues(V195, V196, F218,N226, Q312, and M332) near the active site were mutated to hydrophobic amino acids and the positive mutations were selected for combinatorial mutation. The optimal mutant SpEH^(V196A/N226A/M332A) had an enhanced E-value of 21.2 and a specific activity of 4.57 U·mg^-1-wet cells, which were 2.8-, and 2.3-fold higher than those of wild-type SpEH. The optimal temperature and p H for purified Sp EHV196 A/N226 A/M332 Ato catalyze the hydrolysis of rac-PGE were 25 ℃ and 7.0 with 200 U·mg^-1. The enantioselectivity and yield of the remaining(R)-PGE of E. coliSpEH^(V196A/N226A/M332A)increased from 7.7 to 21.2 and 24.3% to 40.9%, respectively.
