| 4 | Evaluation of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 status of breast cancer using preoperative multidetector computed tomography with deep learning and handcrafted radiomics features显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)status in patients with breast cancer using multidetector computed tomography(MDCT)-based handcrafted and deep radiomics features.Methods:This retrospective study enrolled 339 female patients(primary cohort,n=177;validation cohort,n=162)with pathologically confirmed invasive breast cancer.Handcrafted and deep radiomics features were extracted from the MDCT images during the arterial phase.After the feature selection procedures,handcrafted and deep radiomics signatures and the combined model were built using multivariate logistic regression analysis.Performance was assessed by measures of discrimination,calibration,and clinical usefulness in the primary cohort and validated in the validation cohort.Results:The handcrafted radiomics signature had a discriminative ability with a C-index of 0.739[95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.661-0.818]in the primary cohort and 0.695(95%CI:0.609-0.781)in the validation cohort.The deep radiomics signature also had a discriminative ability with a C-index of 0.760(95%CI:0.690-0.831)in the primary cohort and 0.777(95%CI:0.696-0.857)in the validation cohort.The combined model,which incorporated both the handcrafted and deep radiomics signatures,showed good discriminative ability with a C-index of 0.829(95%CI:0.767-0.890)in the primary cohort and 0.809(95%CI:0.740-0.879)in the validation cohort.Conclusions:Handcrafted and deep radiomics features from MDCT images were associated with HER2 status in patients with breast cancer.Thus,these features could provide complementary aid for the radiological evaluation of HER2 status in breast cancer. | Xiaojun Yang Lei Wu Ke Zhao Weitao Ye Weixiao Liu Yingyi Wang Jiao Li Hanxiao Li Xiaomei Huang Wen Zhang Yanqi Huang Xin Chen Su Yao Zaiyi Liu Changhong Liang | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2: | 4 |

| 8 | Effects of Dietary Protein and Fat Levels on Growth Performance and Serum Biochemical Parameters of Male Mink显示文摘This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary protein and fat levels on growth performance and serum biochemical parameters of male minks during the growing period. A total of 90 healthy male minks at the age of 60 d were randomly assigned into six groups with 15 replicates per group and one mink per replicate. The minks were fed six experimental diets with two protein levels( 32% and 36%) and three fat levels( 10%,20% and 30%) for a 7-day preliminary period and then for 60-day experimental period. The results showed that the final body weight and average daily weight gain( ADWG) were significantly higher in low-protein,middle-fat group and low-protein,high-fat group than those in low-protein,low-fat group and high-protein,low-fat group( P < 0. 01). The final weight and ADWG were increased with dietary fat level increasing,and the two indices of 20% and 30% fat groups were significantly higher than those of 10%fat groups( P < 0. 01). The ratio of feed intake to weight gain( F/G) in low-protein,high-fat group was the lowest,which was significantly lower than that in lowprotein,low-fat group and high-protein,high-fat group( P < 0. 05). Serum urea nitrogen( UN) in low-protein,high-fat group was significantly lower than that in other groups( P < 0. 01). Serum alanine transaminase( ALT) activity in 32% protein groups was significantly higher than that in 36% protein groups( P < 0. 05). Serum triglyceride( TG) content in low-protein,high-fat group and high-protein,high-fat group was significantly higher than that in low-protein,low-fat group and high-protein,low-fat groups( P < 0. 05). Serum TG,total cholesterol( TCHO) and high-density lipoprotein( HDL) contents increased with the increase in dietary fat level,and they were all the highest in low-protein,high-fat group. The growth performance and serum biochemical parameters of minks were not affected by the interaction between dietary protein and fat levels( P > 0. 05). | 14 | Microbial responses to the use of NaClO in sediment treatment显示文摘Chlorine is often used in algal removal and deodorization of landscape waters,and occasionally used as an emergency treatment of heavily polluted sediments.However,the ecological impact of this practice has not been fully studied and recognized.In this study,NaClO at 0.1 mmol/g based on dry weight sediment was evenly mixed into the polluted sediment,and then the sediment was incubated for 150 days to evaluate its microbial effect.Results showed that NaClO addition enhanced the release of TOC,TN,Cr and Cu from the sediment.The microbial richness in the examined sediment decreased continuously,and the Chao1 index declined from 4241 to 2731,in 150 days.The microbial community composition was also changed.The abundance of Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes increased to 54.8%and 4.2%within 7 days compared to the control,and linear discriminant analysis(LDA)showed gram-negative bacteria and aerobic bacteria enriched after chlorination.The functional prediction with PICRUSt2 showed the functions of the microbial community underwent major adjustments,and the metabolic-related functions such as carbon metabolism,including pyruvate and methane metabolisms were significantly inhibited;besides,15 out of 22 analyzed key enzymes involved in C cycling and 6 out of 12 key enzymes or genes involved in N cycling were strongly impacted,and the enzymes and genes involved in carbon degradation and denitrification showed remarkable downregulation.It can be concluded that chlorination posed a seriously adverse effect on microbial community structure and function.This study deepens the understanding of the ecological effects of applying chlorine for environmental remediation. | Kun Li Tingming Ye Wang Zhang Jianfeng Peng Yaohui Bai Weixiao Qi Huijuan Liu | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,2: | 0 |
| 15 | Asymptotic Analysis and Precoding Design of Integrated Access and Backhaul in Full-Duplex mmWave Networks显示文摘In this paper,we consider a full-duplex(FD)millimeter wave(mmWave)multiuser integrated access and backhaul(IAB)system with massive MIMO,and the system asymptotic performance and interference cancellation schemes are investigated.First,the asymptotic performance of the IAB system with massive MIMO is analyzed.As the number of macro base station(MBS)and small base station(SBS)antennas approaches infinity,the FD selfinterference(SI),inter-tier interference and noise can be eliminated,which means that only multiuser interference remains in the system.Then,multiuser interference can be suppressed by the base band(BB)precoders.Since all interference and noise are suppressed,the spectral efficiency of the SBS and users are infinite in theory.Then,two interference suppression precoding schemes are proposed.A block diagonalization(BD)-based interference cancellation scheme is designed based on the channel characteristics and null space projection.The FD SI,intertier interference and multiuser interference are eliminated by BB precoders.Instead of eliminating interference completely,a signal to leakage and noise ratio(SLNR)-based precoding scheme is derived to suppress both interference and noise.By utilizing the Rayleigh-Ritz theorem,the SLNRs of the SBS and users are optimized.Simulation results show that all the interference can be effectively eliminated by the BD-based scheme at the cost of spectral efficiency performance loss,while the SLNR-based scheme can balance interference and noise and achieve higher spectral efficiency with comparatively low interference level.Therefore,the BD-based scheme is more suitable for interference elimination cases,and the SLNRbased scheme can improve the system performance in low interference scenarios. | Yi Zhang Shuai Han Weixiao Meng Xunan Li Yue Chen | 2022 | China Communications2022,19,5: | 0 |

| 18 | In vitro investigation of a new thrombus aspiration and autologous blood reinfusion system显示文摘Purpose: The aim of the study was to evaluate the feasibility of a new venous-thrombus aspiration and autologous blood(auto-blood) reinfusion system.Materials and methods: We constructed the venous model from polyvinyl chloride(PVC) tubes and three-way unions using a fresh clot of chicken blood as the venous thrombus. Eight French and 12 F aspiration catheters were used to aspirate the thrombus in the right–pulmonary-artery model, 8 French and 14 F aspiration catheters were used in the inferior–vena cava model, and 8 French and 10 F aspiration catheters were used in the left-–iliofemoral-vein model. A thrombus filtration and auto-blood reinfusion bottle was used to filter the thrombus and re-infuse auto-blood. We evaluated the thrombus aspiration capability of each catheter by comparing preaspirated with the post-aspirated thrombus volume, and we evaluated the difference in aspiration capability between the two catheters in each model by comparing their thrombus aspiration rates. We used Student’s t-test for statistical analysis.Results: Differences between pre-aspirated and post-aspirated thrombus volumes for each catheter were insignificant, as were those between the thrombus aspiration rates of the two catheters in each venous model. Using the thrombus aspiration and auto-blood reinfusion system, each aspiration catheter could fluently aspirate the thrombus out of the venous model.Conclusion: In this study, we designed a new venous-thrombus aspiration system. | 19 | Two-dimensional rectangular bismuth bilayer:A novel dual topological insulator显示文摘Dual topological insulator(DTI),which simultaneously hosts topological insulator(TI)and topological crystalline insulator(TCI)phases,has attracted extensive attention since it has a better robustness of topological nature and broad application prospects in spintronics.However,the realization of DTI phase in two-dimensional(2D)system is extremely scarce.By first-principles calculations,we predict that the 2D rectangular bismuth(R–Bi)bilayer is a novel DTI,featured by topological invariant=1,mirror Chern number C_(M)=–1,and metallic edge states within the bulk band gap.More interestingly,the TCI phase in bilayer is protected by horizontal glide mirror symmetries,rather than the usual mirror symmetry.The bulk band gap can be effectively tuned by vertical electric field and strain.Besides,the electric field can trigger the transition between TI and metallic phases for the bilayer,accompanied by the annihilation of TCI phase.On this basis,a topological field effect transistor is proposed,which can rapidly manipulate spin and charge carriers via electric field.The KBr(110)surface is demonstrated as an ideal substrate for the deposition of bilayer.These findings provide not only a new strategy for exploiting 2D DTI,but also a promising candidate for spintronic applications. | Shengshi Li Weixiao Ji Jianping Zhang Yaping Wang Changwen Zhang Shishen Yan | 2023 | Frontiers of physics2023,18,4: | 0 |
