Volume fractal dimension of soil particles and relationships with soil physical-chemical properties and plant species diversity in an alpine grassland under different disturbance degrees显示文摘Fractal geometry is an important method in soil science, and many studies have used fractal theory to examine soil properties and the relationships with other eco-environmental factors. However, there have been few studies examining soil particle volume fractal dimension in alpine grasslands. To study the volume fractal dimension of soil particles(D) and its relationships with soil salt, soil nutrient and plant species diversity,we conducted an experiment on an alpine grassland under different disturbance degrees:non-disturbance(N 0),light disturbance(L),moderate disturbance(M) and heavy disturbance(H).The results showed that(1) Ds varied from 2.573 to 2.635 among the different disturbance degrees and increased with increasing degrees of disturbance.(2) Shannon-Wiener diversity index,Pielou's evenness index and Margalef richness index reached their highest values at the M degree, indicating that moderate disturbance is beneficial to the increase of plant species diversity.(3) In the L and M degrees, there was a significant positive correlation between D and clay content and a significant negative correlation between D and soil organic matter(SOM).In the H degree,D was significantly and positively correlated with total salt(TS).The results suggested that to a certain extent,D can be used to characterize the uniformity of soil texture in addition to soil fertility characteristics.(4) For the L degree, there was a significant negative correlation between D and the Shannon-Wiener diversity index;while for the M degree, there was a significant negative correlation between D and Pielou's evenness index. | YanYan LIU YanMing GONG Xin WANG YuKun HU | 2013 | Journal of Arid Land2013,5,4: | 18
Ubiquitination of Rheb governs growth factor-induced mTORC1 activation显示文摘Mechanistic target of rapamycin mTOR complex 1 (mTORC1)plays a key role in the integration of various environmental signals to regulate cell growth and metabolism,mTORC1 is recruited to the lysosome where it is activated by its interaction with GTP-bound Rheb GTPase. However, the regulatory mechanism of Rheb activity remains largely unknown. Here,we show that ubiquitination governs the nucleotide-bound status of Rheb.Lysosome-anchored E3 ligase RNF152 catalyzes Rheb ubiquitination and promotes its binding to the TSC complex.EGF enhances the deubiquitination of Rheb through AKT-dependent USP4 phosphorylation, leading to the release of Rheb from the TSC complex.Functionally, ubiquitination of Rheb is linked to mTORC1-mediated signaling and consequently regulates tumor growth. Thus,we propose a mechanistic model whereby Rheb-mediated mTORC1 activation is dictated by a dynamic opposing act between Rheb ubiquitination and deubiquitination that are catalyzed by RNF152 and USP4 respectively. | Lu Deng Lei Chen Linlin Zhao Yan Xu Xiaoping Peng Xinbo Wang Lin Ding Jiali Jin Hongqi Teng Yanming Wang Weijuan Pan Fei Yu Lujian Liao Li Li Xin Ge Ping Wang | 2019 | Cell Research2019,29,2: | 16
Influence of magma intrusion on gas outburst in a low rank coal mine显示文摘The effect of magma intrusion on gas outburst is illustrated by a case study of the exposed magma intrusion in the 313 mining area, upper coal seam Number 3,in the Qiwu Mine located in Shandong province.Vitrinite reflectance, mercury injection, and maceral statistical analysis are used to characterize the coal. The aspects of coal metamorphism include changes in micro-components as well as in coal structure, the formation of new substances, and changes in gas absorption and storage. The results show that vitrinite reflectance increases within the region influenced by magma intrusion. The metamorphosed region may be divided into a weakly affected belt,a medium affected belt,a strongly affected belt, and a completely affected belt.Compared to the unaffected coal the total pore volume,as well as the amount of big and middle sized holes, increases while the number of transition holes and micro-pores decreases. This diminishes the absorption capacity of the matrix but enlarges the total gas storage space.Vitrinite content initially decreases slightly but then increases rapidly while the inertinite content increases at first but then decreases.Exinite content decreases, then increases, and finally drops to zero.Higher vitrinite, and a lower inertinite, content increase gas absorption ability. This balances reduced adsorption caused by changes to pore structure.Consequently, gas adsorption capacity is not substantially reduced as the coal rank increases.Thermal metamorphism of the coal produces CH4 and other hydrocarbons that increase the total gas content in the coal seam.Asphaltene migrates into the medium and weakly affected regions filling in the pores and fractures there. This plugs the pathway for gas transport.A barrier is formed that hinders gas flow.CO2,H2S,N2,and other gases carried in by the magma react to produce CO2,which increases in relative concentration and enhances the risk of gas outburst. The two barriers, magma intrusion on one side and the medium and weakly affected belts on the other,as well as the unaffected coal seam itself, trap a large amount of gas during the thermal activity. This is the basic reason for gas outburst. These conclusions can enlighten activities related to gas prevention and control in a low rank coal mine affected by magma intrusion. | Chen Shangbin Zhu Yanming Li Wu Wang Hui | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2: | 11
Effect of initial material bulk density and easily-degraded organic matter content on temperature changes during composting of cucumber stalk显示文摘To inactivate the potentially pathogenic microorganisms and safely utilize vegetable waste compost, ultra-high temperatures(> 70°C) should be maintained during the composting without having an inhibitory effect on maturity. This study investigated the influence of bulk density(part 1) and easily-degraded organic matter content(EDOMC, part 2) on temperature evolution during vegetable waste composting: Part 1: corn straw with different particle sizes was used to achieve different bulk densities in the composting material(BD1–BD3); Part 2: partial or total substitution of the corn straw by corn starch was carried out to obtain different EDOMC(ED1–ED4). The composting experiments were conducted in a labscale reactor(1.75 kg material) and lasted for 30 d. Temperature and CO2 emission were recorded daily, and the organic matter, lignocellulose, microbial activity, germination index(GI) and C/N of the samples were measured at different stages. The highest temperature(65.7°C) in part 1 occurred in the treatment with the bulk density of 0.35 g/cm3, which also had the longest thermophilic phase. Bulk density was found to seriously influence the utilization efficiency of O2 and heat transfer through materials, rather than heat production from organic matter degradation. In experiment part 2, the highest temperature was obtained with EDOMC of 45%(71.4°C). Therefore, adjusting the bulk density to 0.35 g/cm3 and the easily-degraded organic matter content of the initial material to 45% was the best combination for reaching temperatures above 70°C during composting, with no inhibitory effect on the maturity of the compost product. | Ruixue Chang Qiuyue Guo Qing Chen Maria Pilar Bernal Qian Wang Yanming Li | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,6: | 11
Prevention and control of coalfield fire technology:A case study in the Antaibao Open Pit Mine goaf burning area,China显示文摘It is very difficult to clearly detect the location of a burning area in a coal mine since it is hidden underground. So we conducted research on the distribution of the burning area before controlling it.Firstly, the original drilling technique was used to analyze and determine the loose and scope of caving of burning area through field test, and then obtained the gases and the temperature data in this area were according to the borehole data.By analyzing these data,we found out that the location of burning area concentrated in the loose and caving area;and finally, the location and development of the burning area within the tested area were accurately determined.Based on this theory,we used the ground penetrating radar(GPR) to find out the loose and caving scale in the burning area during the control process of the burning area, and then located the fire-extinguishing boreholes within target which we used to control burning fire in the section.A mobile comprehensive fire prevention and extinguishing system based on the three-phase foam fire prevention and control technique was then adopted and conducted in the burning area which took only 9 months to extinguish the 227,000 m 2 of burning area of 9# coal. This control technology and experience will provide a very important reference to the control of other coalfield fire and hillock fire in the future. | Cao Kai Zhong Xiaoxing Wang Deming Shi Guoqing Wang Yanming Shao Zhenlu | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,5: | 10
Effect of naringenin in Qianggu capsule on population pharmacokinetics in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To characterize naringenin(NAR) population pharmacokinetics(PPK) in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis.METHODS:Ninety-eight female patients with primary osteoporosis from the Jingshan,Beixinqiao,Jiaodaokou,Chaoyangmen, and Donghuamen communities in Beijing,China, aged 40 to 80 years, received oral Qianggu capsules(250 mg).Blood samples were collected before and at 0.5,1,2,3,4,6,8,10,12,and 24 h after administration. The concentration of NAR in the blood samples was measured using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.PPK analyses were performed with nonlinear mixed-effect modeling software(version 7.1.2,PsN3.2.12).The clearance(C1),central distribution volume(V),absorption rate constant(Ka1),peripheral distribution volume(VII),and inter-compartmental clearance(CLII) were set as parameters and estimated by the base model, covariate model, and final model.Kidney-Yang deficiency[Shenyangxu(SYAX)]and liver-kidney-Yin deficiency(Ganshenyinxu) are patterns of symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine that were set as covariates, along with age, height, blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, and hyperlipidemia. Both stepwise forward and backward procedures were accomplished to build models. The final model was evaluated by internal and external validation, visual predictive check, bootstrap, and leverage analysis.RESULTS:A one compartment open model with first order degradation was the best fitted to the concentration-time profiles following oral administration of NAR.The mean of population parameters of the final model,C1,SYAX on C1,V,Ka1,CLII,and VII,were measured to be 37.6 L/h,0.427 L,123 L/h,0.12/h,0.3056,and 1.446,respectively.Inter-individual variability was estimated and SYAX was identified as a significant covariate.CONCLUSION:The population pharmacokinetic model described in this study could effectively characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of NAR following administration of a single dose of oral Qianggu capsules in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis.Among the tested covariates, only SYAX was a significant factor. | Wang Jiannong Jiang Junjie Xie Yanming Wei Xu Li Jianpeng Duan Jingli Xiong Xin | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2: | 9
Postmarketing safety evaluation: depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae)显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To systematically examine the postmarketing safety of depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),identifythe potential risk factors, and ensure its clinical safety.METHODS: We examined a comprehensive series of studies on the production process, quality standards, pharmacology, population pharmacokinetics, and safety evaluation of depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae). Data from Ⅰ-Ⅳ clinical drug trials, hospital information systems(HIS), and spontaneous reporting systems(SRS) were also analyzed.RESULTS: The effective components of salvianolic acid salt content reached almost 100%, and the magnesium lithospermate B content reached morethan 80%. The median lethal dose(LD50) calculated by the Bliss method was 1.49 g/kg, with 95%confidence intervals of 1.29-1.72 g/kg. Long-term tests on Beagle dogs indicated that doses of less than 80 mg/kg were safe and doses of 320 mg/kg were toxic. Adverse drug reactions(ADRs) included digestive disorders; drug-induced erythrocyte deformation in lung, liver, spleen, kidney, bone marrow, intestinal mucosa, lymph nodes, and other tissues; megakaryocytes in lung, liver, and spleen resulting from mild hemolysis; and mild hyperplasia in bone marrow hematopoietic tissue. Other studies indicated no irritative effect of the injection on local tissues and blood vessels, and no allergic reactions, erythrocyte coagulation, or hemolysis. SRS data showed that the most common ADRs were headache, head distention, dizziness, facial flushing, skin itching, thrombocytopenia, and the reversibility of elevated Aspartate transaminase. HIS data indicated no damage to renal function from using depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae) at a dosage higher than the recommended dose.CONCLUSION: This study analyzes the clinical characteristics of ADRs from depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),and discusses the factors influencing such reactions. It provides scientific reference and recommendations for clinically safe medication of the Danshen injection. | Yanpeng Chang Wen Zhang Yanming Xie Xiangyang Xu Rendi Sun Zheng Wang Ruihua Yan | 2014 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,6: | 8

Stepwise-Nanocavity-Assisted Transmissive Color Filter Array Microprints显示文摘Visible-light color flters using patterned nanostructures have attracted much interest due to their various advantages such as compactness, enhanced stability, and environmental friendliness compared with traditional pigment or dye-based optical flters. While most existing studies are based on planar nanostructures with lateral variation in size, shape, and arrangement, the vertical dimension of structures is a long-ignored degree of freedom for the structural colors.Herein,we demonstrate a synthetic platform for transmissive color flter array by coordinated manipulations between height-varying nanocavities and their lateral flling fractions.Te thickness variation of those nanocavities has been fully deployed as an alternative degree of freedom, yielding vivid colors with wide gamut and excellent saturation.Experimental results show that the color-rendering capability of the pixelated nanocavities can be still retained as pixels are miniaturized to 500 nm.Crosstalk between closely spaced pixels of a Bayer color flter arrangement was calculated, showing minimal crosstalk for 1μm2 square subpixels. Our work provides an approach to designing and fabricating ultracompact color flter arrays for various potential applications including stained-glass microprints, microspectrometers, and high-resolution image sensing systems. | Yasi Wang Mengjie Zheng Qifeng Ruan Yanming Zhou Yiqin Chen Peng Dai Zhengmei Yang Zihao Lin Yuxiang Long Ying Li Na Liu Cheng-Wei Qiu Joel K.W.Yang Huigao Duan | 2018 | Research2018,,1: | 8
Cloning of Ln Gene Through Combined Approach of Map-based Cloning and Association Study in Soybean显示文摘Increasing yield is one of the most important goals in crop breeding.Soybean(Glycine max L.Merr.),one of the most economically important leguminous seed crops, provides the majority of plant proteins, and more than a quarter of the world's food and animal feed(Graham and Vance,2003). The yield of soybean is finally determined by the number of seeds per unit area, which affected by many characters, such as height, branching number, photosynthesis, seed size, seed number. The number of seeds per pod is taken for one of the critical components that related to yield(You et al.,1995),and it has long been considered in soybean production(Takahashi, | Chao Fang Weiyu Li Guiquan Li Zheng Wang Zhengkui Zhou Yanming Ma Yanting Shen Congcong Li Yunshuai Wu Baoge Zhu Weicai Yang Zhixi Tian | 2013 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2013,40,2: | 7
Effect of source location on particle dispersion in displacement ventilation rooms显示文摘A proposed computer model for predicting aerosol particle dispersion in indoor spaces was validated with experimental data found in th literature, and is then used to study the effect of the area and point source locations on particle dispersion in displacement ventilation(DV) rooms The results show that aerosol source location has a strong impact on the spatial distribution and removal rate of indoor particles.Particle remova performance depends strongly on ventilation efficiency and particle deposition rate on indoor surfaces.Important consideration for both relativ ventilation efficiency and deposition rate consists of the position of the aerosol source relative to the main airflow pattern and the occupied zone. | Ke Zhong Yanming Kang Youjun Wang | 2008 | Particuology2008,6,5: | 7
Promoted effect of zinc–nickel bimetallic oxides supported on HZSM-5 catalysts in aromatization of methanol显示文摘Zn/ZSM-5(NZ2) and Zn/Ni/ZSM-5(NZ3) as the catalysts for methanol to aromatics(MTA) were synthesized by a simple ultrasonic impregnation. The textural and acid properties of all catalysts were characterized using XRD, HRTEM, NH_3-TPD, Py-IR, XPS, XRF and TG techniques. The XRD and HRTEM results showed that the basic zeolite structures were not affected much with the incorporation of Zn and Ni species. However, great changes have taken place in acid properties. The Py-IR and XPS results indicated that the Zn-Lewis acid sites(ZnOH^+ species), which have stronger interaction with the zeolite framework compared with ZnO species, were generated at the expense of B acid sites with the incorporation of zinc species. Moreover, the product analysis results showed that the incorporation of zinc species promoted the primary aromatization by enhancing the dehydroaromatization and suppressing the cracking and subsequent H-transfer reaction. Furthermore, the addition of Ni species well inhibited the loss of zinc species by converting partial ZnO species to ZnOH^+ species, and thus improved the aromatization activity and catalyst stability. The catalytic performance results showed that the NZ3 possess higher conversion of methanol in a longer time and lower average rate of coke formation compared with NZ2. In addition, the NZ3 also exhibited the highest yield of BTX as the reaction proceeds. | Yanming Jia Junwen Wang Kan Zhang Wei Feng Shibin Liu Chuanmin Ding Ping Liu | 2017 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2017,26,3: | 7
Global transcriptome analysis for identification of interactions between coding and noncoding RNAs during human erythroid differentiation显示文摘在 erythroid 开发期间编码基因, miRNAs,和 lncRNAs 上的研究在最近的年里被执行了。 | Nan Ding Jiafei Xi Yanming Li Xiaoyan Xie Jian Shi Zhaojun Zhang Yanhua Li Fang Fang Sihan Wang Wen Yue Xuetao Pei Xiangdong Fang | 2016 | Frontiers of Medicine2016,10,3: | 6
Characterization of miRNomes in Acute and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cell Lines显示文摘Myeloid leukemias are highly diverse diseases and have been shown to be associated with microRNA(miRNA) expression aberrations. The present study involved an in-depth miRNome analysis of two human acute myeloid leukemia(AML) cell lines, HL-60 and THP-1, and one human chronic myeloid leukemia(CML) cell line, K562, via massively parallel signature sequencing. mRNA expression profiles of these cell lines that were established previously in our lab facilitated an integrative analysis of miRNA and mRNA expression patterns. miRNA expression profiling followed by differential expression analysis and target prediction suggested numerous miRNA signatures in AML and CML cell lines. Some miRNAs may act as either tumor suppressors or oncomiRs in AML and CML by targeting key genes in AML and CML pathways. Expression patterns of cell type-specific miRNAs could partially reflect the characteristics of K562, HL-60 and THP-1 cell lines, such as actin filament-based processes, responsiveness to stimulus and phagocytic activity. miRNAs may also regulate myeloid differentiation, since they usually suppress differentiation regulators. Our study provides a resource to further investigate the employment of miRNAs in human leukemia subtyping, leukemogenesis and myeloid development. In addition, the distinctive miRNA signatures may be potential candidates for the clinical diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of myeloid leukemias. | Qian Xiong Yadong Yang Hai Wang Jie Li Shaobin Wang Yanming Li Yaran Yang Kan Cai Xiuyan Ruan Jiangwei Yan Songnian Hu Xiangdong Fang | 2014 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2014,12,2: | 6
Nanoscale pore morphology and distribution of lacustrine shale reservoirs:Examples from the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation,Ordos Basin显示文摘Pore structure plays an important role in the gas storage and flow capacity of shale gas reservoirs. Fieldemission environmental scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) in combination with low-pressure carbon dioxide gas adsorption(CO2GA),nitrogen gas adsorption(N2GA),and high-pressure mercury intrusion(HPMI) were used to study the nanostructure pore morphology and pore-size distributions(PSDs) of lacustrine shale from the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation,Ordos Basin. Results show that the pores in the shale reservoirs are generally nanoscale and can be classified into four types: organic, interparticle, intraparticle, and microfracture. The interparticle pores between clay particles and organic-matter pores develop most often,l with pore sizes that vary from several to more than 100 nm. Mercury porosimetry analysis shows total porosities ranging between 1.93 and 7.68%,with a mean value of 5.27%. The BET surface areas as determined by N2 adsorption in the nine samples range from 10 to 20 m2/g and the CO2 equivalent surface areas(<2 nm)vary from 18 to 71 m2/g. Together, the HPMI,N2 GA,and CO2 GA curves indicate that the pore volumes are mainly due to pores <100 nm in size. In contrast, however, most of the specific surface areas are provided by the micropores. The total organic carbon(TOC) and clay minerals are the primary controls of the structures of nanoscale pores(especially micropores and mesopores). Micropores are predominantly determined by the content of the TOC,and mesopores are possibly related to the content of clay minerals, particularly the illite-montmorillonite mixed-layer content. | Yang Wang Yanming Zhu Hongyan Wang Guangjun Feng | 2015 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2015,24,4: | 6
Pore Structure Heterogeneity of the Xiamaling Formation Shale Gas Reservoir in the Yanshan Area of China: Evaluation of Geological Controlling Factors显示文摘Micro-heterogeneity is an integral parameter of the pore structure of shale gas reservoir and it forms an essential basis for setting and adjusting development parameters. In this study, scanning electron microscopy,high-pressure mercury intrusion and low-temperature nitrogen adsorption experiments were used to qualitatively and quantitatively characterize the pore structure of black shale from the third member of the Xiamaling Formation in the Yanshan area. The pore heterogeneity was studied using fractal theory, and the controlling factors of pore development and heterogeneity were evaluated in combination with geochemical parameters, mineral composition, and geological evolution history. The results show that the pore structure of the reservoir was intricate and complicated. Moreover, various types of micro-nano scale pores such as dissolution pores, intergranular pores, interlayer pores, and micro-cracks are well developed in member 3 of the Xiamaling Formation. The average porosity was found to be 6.30%,and the mean value of the average pore size was 4.78 nm.Micropores and transition pores provided most of the storage space.Pore development was significantly affected by the region and was mainly related to the total organic carbon content, vitrinite reflectance and mineral composition. The fractal dimension, which characterizes the heterogeneity,is 2.66 on average, indicating that the pore structure is highly heterogeneous.Fractal dimension is positively correlated with maturity and clay mineral content, while it is negatively correlated with brittle mineral content and average pore size. These results indicate that pore heterogeneity is closely related to thermal history and material composition.Combined with the geological background of this area,it was found that the pore heterogeneity was mainly controlled by the Jurassic magmatism. The more intense the magma intrusion, the stronger the pore heterogeneity. The pore structure and its heterogeneity characteristics present today are a general reflection of the superimposed geological processes of sedimentary-diagenetic-late transformation. The influence of magmatic intrusion on the reservoir is the main geological factor that should be considered for detailed evaluation of the Xiamaling Formation shale gas reservoir in the Yanshan area. | LI Xueyuan CHEN Shangbin WANG Xiaoqi ZHU Yanming CHANG Minghua Clementine UWAMAHORO | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,3: | 5
The influence of synthetic jet excitation on secondary flow in compressor cascade显示文摘The detailed numerical simulation has been carried out to investigate the effect of synthetic jet excitation on the secondary flow at 5° incidence in a compressor cascade, in which the synthetic jet actuation is equipped on the suction surface. The influence of excitation position, one fixed near the trailing edge and the other fixed a little far from the trailing edge, has also been studied. The results show that unsteady disturbance of desirable synthetic jet effectively enhances the mixing of the fluid inside the separation region, which reduces the vortex intensity and the energy loss, improves the flow status in the cascade, and also suppresses velocity fluctuation near the trailing edge. Additionally, the actuation fixed near the separation region proves to be more effective and exit load distribution is more uniform due to the employment of the synthetic jet. | Yanming LIU, Tuo SUN, Chaobin GUAN and Baoguo WANG School of Aerospace Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, 100081, China Assistant Professor | 2010 | Journal of Thermal Science2010,19,6: | 5
Antibody-drug conjugates:Recent advances in linker chemistry显示文摘Antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs)are gradually revolutionizing clinical cancer therapy. The antibody-drug conjugate linker molecule determines both the efficacy and the adverse effects, and so has a major influence on the fate of ADCs.An ideal linker should be stable in the circulatory system and release the cytotoxic payload specifically in the tumor. However, existing linkers often release payloads nonspecifically and inevitably lead to off-target toxicity. This defect is becoming an increasingly important factor that restricts the development of ADCs.The pursuit of ADCs with optimal therapeutic windows has resulted in remarkable progress in the discovery and development of novel linkers. The present review summarizes the advance of the chemical trigger,linker-antibody attachment and linker-payload attachment over the last 5 years, and describes the ADMET properties of ADCs.This work also helps clarify future developmental directions for the linkers. | Zheng Su Dian Xiao Fei Xie Lianqi Liu Yanming Wang Shiyong Fan Xinbo Zhou Song Li | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,12: | 5
Effects of supply air temperature and inlet location on particle dispersion in displacement ventilation rooms显示文摘The effects of supply temperature and vertical location of inlet air on particle dispersion in a displacement ventilated (DV) room were numerically modeled with validation by experimental data from the literature. The results indicate that the temperature and vertical location of inlet supply air did not greatly affect the air distribution in the upper parts of a DV room, but could signiflcantly influence the airflow pattern in the lower parts of the room, thus affecting the indoor air quality with contaminant sources located at the lower level, such as particles from working activities in an offlce. The numerical results also show that the inlet location would slightly influence the relative ventilation efflciency for the same air supply volume, but particle concentration in the breathing zone would be slightly lower with a low horizontal wall slot than a rectangular diffuser. Comparison of the results for two different supply temperatures in a DV room shows that, although lower supply temperature means less incoming air volume, since the indoor flow is mainly driven by buoyancy, lower supply temperature air could more efflciently remove passive sources (such as particles released from work activities in an offlce). However, in the breathing zone it gives higher concentration as compared to higher supply air temperature. To obtain good indoor air quality, low supply air temperature should be avoided because concentration in the breathing zone has a stronger and more direct impact on human health. | Yanming Kang Youjun Wang Ke Zhong | 2011 | Particuology2011,9,6: | 5
Mercury pollution in Rana Chensinensis in Weisha River reach, in the upstream region of Songhua River显示文摘Twice a year continuous samples of Rana Chensinensis and sediments have been collected near gold mine in the upstream region of Songhua River from 2000 to 2002, for analyzing the total mercury (THg), methylmercury (MeHg) concentration and correlation in sediments, muscles, livers of the frog. The study indicates that THg and MeHgconcentrations in polluted samples near the gold mine are higher than those in unpolluted ones. THg and MeHg con-centrations are higher in autumn, in female, and in livers than those in spring, in male, in muscles respectively. The order of concentration degree in the frog organizations is as follows: liver>muscle>ovum>Fallopian tube. MeHg is themain form of mercury (Hg) existing in autumn, while inor-ganic Hg is in spring. There is no distinct difference ofCMeHg/CTHg between male and female, livers and muscles. The correlation between MeHg concentrations in the river sedi-ments and in the frog’s livers and muscles are significant, which is related to disorderly discharge of Hg. | WANG Ning ZHU Yanming MENG Dan | 2005 | Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,19: | 4
