| 1 | Accurate energy model for WSN node and its optimal design显示文摘With the development of CMOS and MEMS technologies, the implementation of a large number of wireless distributed micro-sensors that can be easily and rapidly deployed to form highly redundant, self-configuring, and ad hoc sensor networks. To facilitate ease of deployment, these sensors operate on battery for extended periods of time. A particular challenge in maintaining extended battery lifetime lies in achieving communications with low power. For better understanding of the design tradeoffs of wireless sensor network (WSN), a more accurate energy model for wireless sensor node is proposed, and an optimal design method of energy effcient wireless sensor node is described as well. Different from power models ever shown which assume the power cost of each component in WSN node is constant, the new one takes into account the energy dissipation of circuits in practical physical layer. It shows that there are some parameters, such as data rate, carrier frequency, bandwidth, Tsw, etc, which have a significant effect on the WSN node energy consumption per useful bit (EPUB). | 2 | Characterization of miRNomes in Acute and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cell Lines显示文摘Myeloid leukemias are highly diverse diseases and have been shown to be associated with microRNA(miRNA) expression aberrations. The present study involved an in-depth miRNome analysis of two human acute myeloid leukemia(AML) cell lines, HL-60 and THP-1, and one human chronic myeloid leukemia(CML) cell line, K562, via massively parallel signature sequencing. mRNA expression profiles of these cell lines that were established previously in our lab facilitated an integrative analysis of miRNA and mRNA expression patterns. miRNA expression profiling followed by differential expression analysis and target prediction suggested numerous miRNA signatures in AML and CML cell lines. Some miRNAs may act as either tumor suppressors or oncomiRs in AML and CML by targeting key genes in AML and CML pathways. Expression patterns of cell type-specific miRNAs could partially reflect the characteristics of K562, HL-60 and THP-1 cell lines, such as actin filament-based processes, responsiveness to stimulus and phagocytic activity. miRNAs may also regulate myeloid differentiation, since they usually suppress differentiation regulators. Our study provides a resource to further investigate the employment of miRNAs in human leukemia subtyping, leukemogenesis and myeloid development. | 4 | The Deep Geophysical Structure of the Middle Section of the Longmen Mountains Tectonic Belt and its Relation to the Wenchuan Earthquake显示文摘Investigation of the deep geophysical structure of the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt and its relation to the Wenchuan Earthquake is important for the study of earthquakes. By using magnetotelluric sounding profiles of the Luqu–Zhongjiang and Anxian–Suining; seismic sounding profiles of the Sichuan Maowen–Chongqing Gongtan, the Qinghai Huashi Gorge–Sichuan Jianyang, and the Batang–Zizhong; and magnetogravimetric data of the Longmen Mountains region, the deep geophysical structure of the Songpan–Ganzi block, the western Sichuan foreland basin, and the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt and their relation was discussed. The eastward extrusion of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau thrusts the Songpan–Ganzi block upon the Yangtze block, which obstructs the eastward movement of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. The Maoxian–Wenchuan, Beichuan–Yingxiu, and Anxian–Guanxian faults of the Longmen Mountains fault belt dip to northwest with different dip angles and gradually converge in the deeper parts. Geophysical structure suggests that an intracrustal low-velocity, low-resistivity, and high-conductivity layer is common between the middle and upper crust west of the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt but not in the upper Yangtze block. The Sichuan Basin has a thick low-resistance sedimentary layer on a stable high-resistance basement; moreover, there are secondary paleohighs and depression structures at the lower part of the western Sichuan foreland basin with characteristic of high magnetic anomalies, whereas the Songpan–Ganzi block has a high resisitivity cover of upper crust and continues to a low-resistance layer. Considering the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt as the boundary, there are Bouguer gravity anomalies of 'one belt between two zones.' Thus, we infer that there is a corresponding relation between the inferred crystalline basement of the Songpan block and the underlying basin basement of the Longmen Mountains fault belt. Furthermore, there may be an extensive ancient Yangtze block, which is west of the Ruoergai block. In addition, the crust–mantle ductile shear zone under the Longmen Mountains tectonic belt is the main fault, whereas the Beichuan–Yingxiu and Anxian–Guanxian faults at the surface are earthquake faults. The Wenchuan Ms 8.0 earthquake might be attributed to the collision of the Yangtze block and the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. | 8 | Designing of multifunctional and flame retardant separator towards safer high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Owing to unprecedented merits such as high theoretical capacity,superior energy density and low cost,lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)show a bright future both in scientific and industrial areas.Whereas,the inherent issues,including highly insulating character,undesired shuttle behavior and lithium dendrites growth,are seriously impeding its practical usage.Here,a metal-organic-frameworks(MOFs)derived N,S co-doped carbon nanotube hollow architecture confining with CoS_(2) nanoparticles(CoS_(2)/NSCNHF)modified separator is designed to surmount these obstacles.Compared with Celgard separator,this designed separator shows obviously enhanced flame retardancy,giving 73.1%and 53.0%reductions in peak heat release rate and total heat release,separately.Concretely,its hollow structure,conductive feature,electrocatalytic activity and Lewis acid-base interaction enable the efficient inhibition on shuttle behavior as well as boost in polysulfides conversion kinetics.The cell with modified separator delivers a high discharge capacity of 1,284.5 mAh·g^(−1).After running for 100 cycles,a discharge capacity of 661.3 mAh·g^(−1) is remained.Markedly,the suppression on lithium dendrites growth is also observed,manifesting the enhanced battery safety.Overall,this work may shed light on the effective usage of MOFs-derived hierarchical composite in achieving LSBs with high electrochemical performance as well as safety. | Junling Wang Wei Cai Xiaowei Mu Longfei Han Na Wu Can Liao Yongchun Kan Yuan Hu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,12: | 3 |
| 9 | Near-zero-dispersion soliton and broadband modulational instability Kerr microcombs in anomalous dispersion显示文摘The developing advances of microresonator-based Ker cavity solitons have enabled versatile applications ranging from communication,signal processing to high-precision measurements.Resonator dispersion is the key factor determining the Kerr comb dynamics.Near the zero group-velocity-dispersion(GVD)regime,low-noise and broadband microcomb sources are achievable,which is crucial to the application of the Kerr soliton.When the GVD is almost vanished,higher-order dispersion can significantly affect the Kerr comb dynamics.Although many studies have investigated the Kerr comb dynamics near the zero-dispersion regime in microresonator or fiber ring system,limited by dispersion profles and dispersion perturbations,the near-zero-dispersion soliton structure pumped in the anomalous dispersion side is still elusive so far.Here,we theoretically and experimentally investigate the microcomb dynamics in fiber-based Fabry-Perot microresonator with ultra-small anomalous GVD.We obtain 2/3-octave-spaning microcombs with~10 GHz spacing,>84 THz span,and>8400 comb lines in the modulational instability(MI)state,without any external nonlinear spectral broadening.Such widely-spanned Ml combs are also able to enter the soliton state.Moreover,we report the first observation of anomalous-dispersion based near-zero-dispersion solitons,which exhibits a local repetition rate up to 8.6 THz,an individual pulse duration<100 fs,a span>32 THz and>3200 comb lines.These two distinct comb states have their own advantages.The broadband MI combs possess high conversion efficiency and wide existing range,while the near-zero-dispersion soliton exhibits relatively low phase noise and ultra-high local repetition rate.This work complements the dynamics of Kerr cavity soliton near the zero-dispersion regime,and may stimulate cross-disciplinary inspirations ranging from dispersion-controlled microresonators to broadband coherent comb devices. | Zeyu Xiao Tieying Li Minglu Cai Hongyi Zhang Yi Huang Chao Li Baicheng Yao Kan Wu Jianping Chen | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,2: | 2 |
