1Myocardial protection by heparin-based coacervate of FGF10显示文摘Heart disease is still the leading killer all around the world,and its incidence is expected to increase over the next decade.Previous reports have already shown the role of fibroblast growth factor10(FGF10)in alleviating heart diseases.However,FGF10 has not been used to treat heart diseases because the free protein has short half-life and low bioactivity.Here,an injectable coacervate was designed to protect growth factor from degradation during delivery and the effects of the FGF10 coacervate were studied using a mice acute myocardial infarction(MI)model.As shown in our echocardiographic results,a single injection of FGF10 coacervate effectively inhibited preserved cardiac contractibility and ventricular dilation when compared with free FGF10 and the saline treatment 6 weeks after MI.It is revealed in histological results that the MI induced myocardial inflammation and fibrosis was reduced after FGF10 coacervate treatment.Furthermore,FGF10 coacervate treatment could improve arterioles and capillaries stabilization through increasing the proliferation of endothelial and mural cells.However,with the same dosage,no statistically significant difference was shown between free FGF10,heparin+FGF10 and saline treatment,especially in long term.On another hand,FGF10 coacervate also increased the expression of cardiac-associated the mRNA(cTnT,Cx43 and α-SMA),angiogenic factors(Ang-1 and VEGFA)and decreased the level of inflammatory factor(tumor necrosis factor-α).The downstream signaling of the FGF10 was also investigated,with the western blot results showing that FGF10 coacervate activated the p-FGFR,PI3K/Akt and ERK1/2 pathways to a more proper level than free FGF10 or heparin+FGF10.In general,it is revealed in this research that one-time injection of FGF10 coacervate sufficiently attenuated MI induced injury when compared with an equal dose of free FGF10 or heparin+FGF10 injection.Zhouguang Wang Yan Huang Yan He Sinan Khor Xingxing Zhong Jian Xiao Qingsong Ye Xiaokun Li 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:2

5Self-Navigated 3D Acoustic Tweezers in Complex Media Based on Time Reversal显示文摘Acoustic tweezers have great application prospects because they allow noncontact and noninvasive manipulation of microparticles in a wide range of media.However,the nontransparency and heterogeneity of media in practical applications complicate particle trapping and manipulation.In this study,we designed a 1.04 MHz 256-element 2D matrix array for 3D acoustic tweezers to guide and monitor the entire process using real-time 3D ultrasonic images,thereby enabling acoustic manipulation in nontransparent media.Furthermore,we successfully performed dynamic 3D manipulations on multiple microparticles using multifoci and vortex traps.We achieved 3D particle manipulation in heterogeneous media(through resin baffle and ex vivo macaque and human skulls)by introducing a method based on the time reversal principle to correct the phase and amplitude distortions of the acoustic waves.Our results suggest cutting-edge applications of acoustic tweezers such as acoustical drug delivery,controlled micromachine transfer,and precise treatment.Ye Yang Teng Ma Sinan Li Qi Zhang Jiqing Huang Yifei Liu Jianwei Zhuang Yongchuan Li Xuemin Du Lili Niu Yang Xiao Congzhi Wang Feiyan Cai Hairong Zheng 2021Research2021,,1:1

8GmGPDH12,a mitochondrial FAD-GPDH from soybean, increases salt and osmotic stress resistance by modulating redox state and respiration显示文摘In plants,glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GPDH)catalyzes the interconversion of glycerol-3-phosphate(G3P)and dihydroxyacetone phosphate(DHAP)coupled to the reduction/oxidation of the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)pool,and plays a central role in glycerolipid metabolism and stress response.Previous studies have focused mainly on the NAD+-dependent GPDH isoforms,neglecting the role of flavin adenine dinucleotide(FAD)-dependent GPDHs.We isolated and characterized three mitochondrialtargeted FAD-GPDHs in soybean,of which one isoform(GmGPDH12)showed a significant transcriptional response to NaCl and mannitol treatments,suggesting the existence of a major FAD-GPDH isoform acting in soybean responses to salt and osmotic stress.An enzyme kinetic assay showed that the purified GmGPDH12 protein possessed the capacity to oxidize G3P to DHAP in the presence of FAD.Overexpression and RNA interference of GmGPDH12 in soybean hairy roots resulted in elevated tolerance and sensitivity to salt and osmotic stress,respectively.G3P contents were significantly lower in GmGPDH12-overexpressing hair roots and higher in knockdown hair roots,indicating that GmGPDH12 was essential for G3P catabolism.A significant perturbation in redox status of NADH,ascorbic acid(ASA)and glutathione(GSH)pools was observed in GmGPDH12-knockdown plants under stress conditions.The impaired redox balance was manifested by higher reactive oxygen species generation and consequent cell damage or death;however,overexpressing plants showed the opposite results for these traits.GmGPDH12 overexpression contributed to maintaining constant respiration rates under salt or osmotic stress by regulating mRNA levels of key mitochondrial respiratory enzymes.This study provides new evidence for the roles of mitochondria-localized GmGPDH12 in conferring resistance to salt or osmotic stress by maintaining cellular redox homeostasis,protecting cells and respiration from oxidative injury.Ying Zhao Xin Li Zexin Zhang Wenjing Pan Sinan Li Yun Xing Wanying Xin Zhanguo Zhang Zhenbang Hu Chunyan Liu Xiaoxia Wu Zhaoming Qi Dawei Xin Qingshan Chen 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,1:1

10A study on integrated design conjugation profiles application analysis of scroll profiles for automobile air conditioning显示文摘The research on scroll profiles theory at present mainly is aiming at the single profile and its amelioration or parameter optimization,not aiming at the natural characteristic of the profiles equation of scroll profiles itself.Thus,the intrinsic differential equation bearing on arc-length and tangent direction angle was studied.Using the inherent differential equation and general functional theory,the conversion ideas between the expression of intrinsic differential equation and the expression in Cartesian coordinate was studied,and the condition of involutes characteristic was presented.The detailed analysis of four typical scroll profiles was given.According to the four typical scroll profiles and based on the method of Taylor series,the unified formation of general functional integration scroll profiles was established,which perfected general theory of scroll profiles increasingly.The envelope method to seek conjugation engagement profiles was studied.The unified general functional equation of scroll profiles represented the admissible function scrolls and the conjugation engagement characteristic of which was studied.The engagement condition of conjugation scroll profiles and the expression in Cartesian coordinate of conjugation scroll profiles of general functional integration scroll profiles were educed.Therefore,the restriction of inherent characteristics of single scroll profiles model is broken through.Solid modeling and machine tool path simulation can bridge the gap between design and manufacture which is essential for the design and manufacture of scroll compressors.With this method a perfect solid model can be achieved,which leads to an optimal design in terms of quality,delivery time and cost.The presentation of unified formation of general functional integration scroll profiles represents foundation factor of instinct characteristics of scroll profiles,which widens the design method of scroll compressor for automobile air conditioning.WANG LiCun DU Li ZHANG XianMing WANG XuDong CHEN Bin Sinan H HUSSAIN 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6:1

18Visualization Techniques viaMLBS for Personnel Management in Major Events显示文摘Mobile location-based services(MLBS)refer to services around geographic location data.Mobile terminals use wireless communication networks(or satellite positioning systems)to obtain users’geographic location coordinate information based on spatial databases and integrate with other information to provide users with required location-related services.The development of systems based on MLBS has significance and practical value.In this paper a visualization management information system for personnel in major events based on microservices,namely MEPMIS,is designed and implemented by using MLBS.The system consists of a server and a client app,and it has some functions including map search and query,personnel positioning and scheduling,location management,messaging,and location service.Managers of the events can quickly search and locate the staff on the specific area of the map in real-time,and make broadcasting messages to the staff,and manage the staff.The client app is developed on the Android system,by which staff users can send the positions information to the server timely.The client users can search fuzzily near their peers and list their locations,and also call near peers through sending messages or query the history record of staff locations.In the design of the system,several new proposed techniques,including visual annotation method for overlapping locations,correcting trajectory drift algorithm,microservices-based overall system architecture methodology and other new techniques,which are applied to the implementation of the system.Also,HTML5,JQuery,MLBS APIs(Application Program Interfaces)related programming techniques have been used and combined with loading Ajax asynchronously and Json data encapsulation,map marker optimization techniques,that can improve the positioning accuracy and the performance of the system.The developed system with practical functions can enhance the efficiencies of the organization and management of major events.Yu Su Lingjuan Hou Sinan Li Zhaochang Jiang Haoran Peng 2023Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,46,7:0
