| 1 | The electromagnetic wave experiment for CSES mission: Search coil magnetometer显示文摘The seismic activities on the Earth can produce a disturbance of the electromagnetic field and particles in the ionosphere. The search coil magnetometer(SCM) mounted on China Seismo-Electromagnetic satellite(CSES) is designed to measure the magnetic field fluctuation of low frequency electromagnetic waves in the frequency range of 10 Hz–20 k Hz. The SCM comprises a three-axis search coil sensor mounted on a 4.5 m boom and an electronic box inside satellite module. The sampling rate of the SCM is 51.2 k Hz and the time resolution of the power spectrum density(PSD) is 2 s. The frequency resolution is 12.5 Hz.There are three operation modes: survey, detailed survey and calibration. In the survey mode, the SCM can provide a PSD in the whole frequency range of 10 Hz–20 k Hz and wave forms in the low frequency range below 2 k Hz while in the detailed survey mode the SCM can provide both PSD and wave forms in the whole frequency range of 10 Hz–20 k Hz. The sensitivity of the SCM instrument is 5.0×10^(-4) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 10 Hz, 5.0×10^(–5) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 200 Hz, 3.4×10^(-5) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 2 k Hz and 1.1×10^(-4) n T Hz^(-1/2) at 20 k Hz. The telemetry rate is ~0.85 Mbps in the survey mode and ~3.0 Mbps in the detailed survey mode. The phase difference between three axes can be made generally with a precision of less than 1.0°. The dynamic range of the SCM instrument is over 100 d B. The orthogonality of three mechanical axes of search coil senor is better than 0.13°. | 3 | Protist Interactions and Seasonal Dynamics in the Coast of Yantai, Northern Yellow Sea of China as Revealed by Metabarcoding显示文摘Facilitated by the high-throughput sequencing(HTS)technique,the importance of protists to aquatic systems has been widely acknowledged in the last decade.However,information of protistan biotic interactions and seasonal dynamics is much less known in the coast ecosystem with intensive anthropic disturbance.In this study,year-round changes of protist community composition and diversity in the coastal water of Yantai,a city along the northern Yellow Sea in China,were investigated using HTS for the V4 region of 18S rDNA.The interactions among protist groups were also analyzed using the co-occurrence network.Data analyses showed that Alveolata,Chlorophyta,and Stramenopiles are the most dominant phytoplanktonic protists in the investigated coastal area.The community composition displayed strong seasonal variation.The abundant families Dino-Group-I-Clade-1 and Ulotrichales_X had higher proportions in spring and summer,while Bathycoccaceae exhibited higher ratios in autumn and winter.Alpha diversities(Shannon and Simpson)were the highest in autumn and the lowest in spring(ANOVA test,P<0.05).Nutrients(SiO42−,PO43−),total organic carbon(TOC),and pH seemed to drive the variation of alpha diversity,while temperature,PO43−and TON were the most significant factors influencing the whole protist community.Co-variance network analyses reveal frequent co-occurrence events among ciliates,chlorophytes and dinoflagellate,suggesting biotic interactions have been induced by predation,parasitism and mixotrophy. | FU Yingjun ZHENG Pengfei ZHANG Xiaoli ZHANG Qianqian JI Daode | 2020 | Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,4: | 3 |

| 5 | Preparation of composite poly(ether block amide)membrane for CO_2 capture显示文摘In this study, a poly(ether block amide)(Pebax 1657) composite membrane applied for CO2 capture was prepared by coating Pebax 1657 solution on polyacrylonitrile(PAN) ultrafiltration membrane. Ethanol/water mixture was used as the solvent of Pebax and the effects of ethanol/water mass ratios and Pebax concentration on the permeation properties of composite membrane were studied. To enhance the composite membrane permeance, the gutter layer, made from reactive amino silicone crosslinking with polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS), was designed. The influence of crosslinking degree of the gutter layer on membrane performance was investigated. As a result, a Pebax/aminoPDMS/PAN multilayer membrane with hexane resistance was developed, showing CO2 permeance of 350 GPU and CO2/N2 selectivity over50. The blend of polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether(PEG-DME) with Pebax as coating material was studied to further improve the membrane performance. | 6 | Rapid, automated, and reliable antimicrobial susceptibility test from positive blood culture by CAST‐R显示文摘Antimicrobial susceptibility tests(ASTs)are pivotal in combating multidrug resistant pathogens,yet they can be time‐consuming,labor‐intensive,and unstable.Using the AST of tigecycline for sepsis as the main model,here we establish an automated system of Clinical Antimicrobials Susceptibility Test Ramanometry(CAST‐R),based on D2O‐probed Raman microspectroscopy.Featuring a liquid robot for sample pretreatment and a machine learning‐based control scheme for data acquisition and quality control,the 3‐h,automated CAST‐R process accelerates AST by>10‐fold,processes 96 paralleled antibiotic‐exposure reactions,and produces high‐quality Raman spectra.The Expedited Minimal Inhibitory Concentration via Metabolic Activity is proposed as a quantitative and broadly applicable parameter for metabolism‐based AST,which shows 99%essential agreement and 93%categorical agreement with the broth microdilution method(BMD)when tested on 100 Acinetobacter baumannii isolates.Further tests on 26 clinically positive blood samples for eight antimicrobials,including tigecycline,meropenem,ceftazidime,ampicillin/sulbactam,oxacillin,clindamycin,vancomycin,and levofloxacin reveal 93%categorical agreement with BMD‐based results.The automation,speed,reliability,and general applicability of CAST‐R suggest its potential utility for guiding the clinical administration of antimicrobials. | Pengfei Zhu Lihui Ren Ying Zhu Jing Dai Huijie Liu Yuli Mao Yuandong Li Yuehui He Xiaoshan Zheng Rongze Chen Xiaoting Fu Lili Zhang Lijun Sun Yuanqi Zhu Yuetong Ji Bo Ma Yingchun Xu Jian Xu Qiwen Yang | 2022 | mLife2022,1,3: | 3 |

| 9 | A novel rat tail disc degeneration model induced by static bending and compression显示文摘Background:A new rat tail intervertebral disc degeneration model was established to observe the morphologic and biologic changes of static bending and compression applied to the discs.Methods:In total,20 Sprague-Dawley rats with similar weight were randomly di-vided into 4 groups.Group 1 served as a control group for a baseline assessment of normal discs.Group 2 underwent a sham surgery,using an external device to bend the vertebrae of coccygeal 8-10.Groups 3 and 4 were the loaded groups,and exter-nal devices were instrumented to bend the spine with a compression level of 1.8 N and 4.5 N,respectively.Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),histological,and quanti-tative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)analysis were performed on all animals on day 14 of the experiment.Results:Magnetic resonance imaging and histological results showed that the changes of intervertebral disc degeneration increased with the size of compression load.Some architecture disorganizations in nucleus pulposus and annulus fibro-sus were found on both of the convex and concave side in the groups of 1.8 N and 4.5 N.An upregulation of MM-3,MM-13,and collagen 1-α1 mRNA expression and a downregulation of collagen 2-α1 and aggrecan mRNA expression were observed in the sham and loading groups.Significant changes were found between the loading groups,whereas the sham group showed similar results to the control group.Conclusions:Static bending and compression could induce progressive disc degen-eration,which could be used for biologic study on disc degeneration promoted by static complex loading. | Yichao Ji Pengfei Zhu Linlin Zhang Huilin Yang | 2021 | Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2021,4,3: | 2 |

| 20 | Designing Zinc Deposition Substrate with Fully Preferred Orientation to Elude the Interfacial Inhomogeneous Dendrite Growth显示文摘The development of zinc-ion batteries with high energy density remains a great challenge due to the uncontrollable dendrite growth on their zinc metal anodes.Film anodes plated on the substrate have attracted increasing attention to alleviate these dendrite issues.Herein,we first point out that both the random crystal orientation and the low metal affinity of the substrate are important factors of zinc dendrite formation.Accordingly,the(1 O 1)fully preferred tin interface layer with high zinc affinity was fabricated by chemical tin plating on(1 O o)oriented copper.This tin decorated copper substrate can realize high reversible zinc plating/stripping behavior,and full cell using this zinc plated substrate can be operated for more than 1000 cycles with high capacity retention(85.3%)and low electrochemical impedance.The proposed strategy can be also applied to lithium metal batteries,which demonstrates that the substrate orientation regulation and metal affinity design are the promising approaches to achieve dendrite-free metal anode and overcome the challenges of highly reactive metal anodes. | Chunlin Xie Zefang Yang Qi Zhang Huimin Ji Yihu Li Tingqing Wu Wenbin Li Pengfei Wu Haiyan Wang | 2023 | Research2023,,1: | 0 |
