1乳酸菌培养物的生长特性及其对豆奶质构和风味的影响显示文摘研究了Lactobacillus casei (LC), Lactobacillus helveticus (LH) and Lactobacillus rahmnosus (Lactobacillus casei subsp. rahmnosus 6013) (LR)生长特性及其对大豆奶酪风味的影响。研究表明,经过6 h的发酵,LC、LH和LR的菌落数分别增长至8.74、7.69和8.69 log (CFU/mL);37 ℃时,分别接种LC、LH、LR和添加有Glucono-δ-内酯(GDL)的大豆牛奶都明显出现可滴定酸度增加、pH减少的现象。这三种乳酸菌都能够利用大豆糖源。经质构分析发现,菌种可引起大豆牛奶质构发生变化,其凝乳的能力可与GDL媲美。菌种通过产酶、产酸而水解大豆蛋白,从而导致质构变化形成凝乳。这些菌种可释放18种游离氨基酸(FAA),其中包括可作为奶酪风味物质前体化合物的天门冬氨酸、异亮氨酸、亮氨酸、蛋氨酸、苯丙氨酸和缬氨酸。这些菌种均能利用大豆脂肪酸(FA),而在大豆凝乳中出现某些FA消失的现象表明所选的菌种还能分别完全消耗特定的FA。可见,这三种乳酸菌在大豆牛奶中可引起质感及风味前体物的变化,正是生产大豆奶酪所必需的效果,故选择它们作为制备大豆奶酪的适用菌种。Naveed Ahmad 李理 杨晓泉 宁正祥 Wazir Hussain Shah 王永华 陈泽华 2008现代食品科技2008,24,4:12

3乳酸菌发酵制备大豆奶酪豆坯的工艺研究(英文)显示文摘采用3种乳酸菌干酪乳杆菌(LC)、瑞士乳杆菌(LH)和干酪乳杆菌鼠李糖亚种6013(LR)和葡萄糖酸内酯(GDL)凝固豆乳制备豆坯,并对其质构和风味进一步改善。在6 h的凝乳发酵中可以发现LC+LH样品中发酵剂生长良好,豆乳pH下降比LC+LH+LR样品要多。GDL的添加可以促进发酵剂生长,降低豆乳pH,但是它对豆坯的质构的改善并不明显。在GDL+LH+LC+LR制备的豆坯样品中,检测到7种提供风味的和另外11种不同种类不同含量的游离氨基酸(FAA),同时,该样品的脂肪酸(FA)情况也发生显著变化(C18∶3.C20∶0,C20∶1和C22∶0除外)。除了10种常规大豆脂肪酸外,C22∶1和C24∶0也被检测到。后熟过程中这些游离氨基酸和脂肪酸的变化将会导致大豆奶酪质构和风味的改善和提高。从质构和风味上讲,LC+LH制备的豆坯是最好的,其次是LC+LH+GDL制备的豆坯。Naveed Ahmad 陈则华 李理 宁正祥 王永华 杨晓泉 2008食品与机械2008,24,6:4
4Gene-gene,gene-environment,gene-nutrient interactions and single nucleotide polymorphisms of inflammatory cytokines显示文摘Inflammation plays a significant role in the etiology of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).The rise in the pro-inflammatory cytokines is the essential step in glucotoxicity and lipotoxicity induced mitochondrial injury,oxidative stress and beta cell apoptosis in T2 DM.Among the recognized markers are interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1,IL-10,IL-18,tissue necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),C-reactive protein,resistin,adiponectin,tissue plasminogen activator,fibrinogen and heptoglobins.Diabetes mellitus has firm genetic and very strong environmental influence; exhibiting a polygenic mode of inheritance.Many single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in various genes including those of pro and antiinflammatory cytokines have been reported as a risk for T2 DM.Not all the SNPs have been confirmed by unifying results in different studies and wide variations have been reported in various ethnic groups.The inter-ethnic variations can be explained by the fact that gene expression may be regulated by gene-gene,gene-environment and gene-nutrient interactions.This review highlights the impact of these interactions on determining the role of single nucleotide polymorphism of IL-6,TNF-α,resistin and adiponectin in pathogenesis of T2 DM.Amina Nadeem Sadaf Mumtaz Abdul Khaliq Naveed Muhammad Aslam Arif Siddiqui Ghulam Mustafa Lodhi Tausif Ahmad 2015World Journal of Diabetes2015,6,4:4
5Towards safe injection practices for prevention of hepatitis C transmission in South Asia: Challenges and progress显示文摘AIM: To summarize the available information about injection use and its determinants in the South Asian region. METHODS: We searched published and unpublished literature on injection safety in South Asia published during 1995-2016 using the keywords 'injection' 'unsafe injection' and 'immunization injection' and combined these with each of the countries and/or their respective states or provinces in South Asia. We used a standardized questionnaire to abstract the following data from the articles: the annual number of injections per capita, the proportion of injections administered with a reused syringe or needle, the distribution of injections with respect to prescribers and providers and determinants of injection use. RESULTS: Although information is very limited for certain countries(i.e., Bhutan, Maldives and Sri Lanka), healthcare injection use is very common across South Asia, with cross-country rates ranging from 2.4 to 13.6 injections/person/year. Furthermore, recent studies show that 5% to 50% of these injections are provided with reused syringes, thus creating potential to transmission of blood-borne pathogens. Qualified and unqualified practitioners, especially in the private sector, are the major drivers behind injection use, but patients also prefer injections, especially among the rural, poor or uneducated in certain countries. According to available data, Pakistan and India have recently taken steps towards achieving safe injection. Potential interventions include the introduction of reuse prevention devices, and patient-, community- and patient/community and provider-centered interventionsto change population and practitioner behavior. CONCLUSION: Injection use is common in South Asian countries. 6In vivo screening of essential oils of Skimmia laureola leaves for antinociceptive and antipyretic activity显示文摘Objective:To study the screening of essential oils of Skimmia laureola leaves(SLO)for acute toxicity,antinociceptive,antipyretic and anticonvulsant activities in various animal models.Methods:SLO were extracted using modified Clevenger type apparatus.Acute toxicity test was used in mice to observe its safety level.Antinociceptive activity of SLO was evaluated in acetic acid induced writhing and hot plate tests.Yeast induced hyperthermic mice and pentylenetetrazole induced convulsive mice were used for the assessment of its antipyretic and anticonvulsant profile respectively.Results:Substantial safety was observed for SLO in acute toxicity test.SLO showed a high significant activity in acetic acid induced writhing test in a dose dependent manner with maximum pain attenuation of 68.48%at 200 mg/kg i.p.However,it did not produce any relief in thermal induced pain at test doses.When challenged against pyrexia evoked by yeast,SLO manifested marked amelioration in hyperthermic mice,dose dependently.Maximum anti-hyperthermic activity(75%)was observed at 200 mg/kg i.p.after 4 h of drug administration.Nevertheless,SLO had no effect on seizures control and mortality caused by pentylenetetrazole.Conclusions:In vivo studies of SLO showed prominent antinociceptive and antipyretic activities with ample safety profile and thus provided pharmacological base for the traditional uses of the plant in various painful conditions and pyrexia.Additional detail studies are required to ascertain its clinical application.Naveed Muhammad Barkatullah Muhammad Ibrar Haroon Khan Muhammad Saeed Amir Zada Khan Waqar Ahmad Kaleem 2013Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013,3,3:2

8臀上动脉及腰动脉穿支皮瓣的3D血管造影术研究显示文摘背景与目的3D血管造影术由Comelius首先提出,并由Voigt于1975年推进。至今,已有多种改良方法。临床上,利用3D技术评估穿支皮瓣已不再是新鲜事,而完全是一种必要手段。结合运用3D数字成像技术和血管造影术,我们发明了一种新的可视化血管的3D技术。这一方法可为腰动脉和臀上动脉肌皮穿支提供一种数字模型,以利于提高对腰动脉和臀上动脉跨界穿支皮瓣的安全提升。方法对2具尸体行全身明胶一氧化铅动脉灌注。然后,对尸体标本行螺旋cT扫描及3D重建。对6具新鲜尸体注射乳胶。将尸体样本分层解剖,以证明每条穿支血管。结果尸体样本中平均有5条直径0.6mm的臀上动脉肌皮穿支。起自腰动脉的穿支血管,其平均直径和血供区域分别为0.7mm和30cm2。腰部区域的3D重建模型可以显示其形态、空间位置,以及腰动脉和臀上动脉的毗邻关系。结论结合传统断层影像,腰动脉和臀上动脉穿支皮瓣的3D模型可以为穿支血管解剖提供更深入的理解。3D重建模型已是一种有效的临床手段,将来,其还可在基础科学研究、临床培训、术前设计和模拟手术方面发挥更大价值。Koonhei W. 10Adsorptive potential of Acacia nilotica based adsorbent for chromium(Ⅵ) from an aqueous phase显示文摘The objective of this research was to enhance adsorption capacity of Acacia nilotica(keekar) sawdust for the abatement of chromium bearing wastewater and to investigate the effect of process parameters on adsorption capacity. The sawdust was activated by acid wash and functionalized subsequently with formaldehyde.Functionalization of activated sawdust raised its chromium removal efficiency of almost 10% as compared to its adsorption removal efficiency of HCl treated sawdust in a batch adsorption study. Adsorption kinetic data provided better fitting with pseudo second order model. Maximum adsorption capacity calculated through the best fitting Langmuir model was 6.34 mg·g^(-1) and 8.2 mg·g^(-1) for HCl treated and formaldehyde functionalized sawdust adsorbents, respectively. 16Vibration analysis of damaged and undamaged steel structure systems: cantilever column and frame显示文摘This paper presents the experimental and numerical studies conducted on a steel column and a steel frame structure using free vibration analysis.The effects of damages on structures were investigated,which were simulated by introducing multiple cracks at different locations in the experimental and numerical models.The acceleration responses of the test models,were recorded through an accelerometer,and were used to calibrate the numerical models developed in finite element based software.Modal frequencies of damaged and undamaged structures were compared and analyzed,to derive relationships for damaged and undamaged structures’frequencies in terms of crack depth.It was found that,due to the presence of cracks,the mechanical properties of a structure changes,whereby,the modal frequencies decrease.An approximately linear trend was observed for the frequency decrease with the increase in crack depth,which was also confirmed by the numerical models.The derived relationships were extended to further develop a mechanics-based damage scale for steel structures,to help facilitate structural health monitoring and screening of vulnerable structures.Muhammad Abuzar Khan Kareem Akhtar Naveed Ahmad Feroz Shah Naeem Khattak 2020Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020,19,3:1

19Remediation of sulfidic wastewater by catalytic oxidation with hydrogen peroxide显示文摘Oxidation of sulfide in aqueous solution by hydrogen peroxide was investigated in the presence of hydrated ferric oxide catalyst. The ferric oxide catalyst was synthesized by sol gel technique from ferric chloride and ammonia. The synthesized catalyst was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-Ray diffraction analysis, scanning electrom microscope and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The catalyst was quite effective in oxidizing the sulfide by hydrogen peroxide. The effects of sulfide concentration, catalyst loading, H2O2 dosing and temperature on the kinetics of sulfide oxidation were investigated.
