Differentiation potential of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in duck显示文摘The bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) are multipotent stem cells which can differentiate into mesenchymal cells in vitro. In this study,MSCs in duck were isolated from bone marrow by density gradient centrifuge separation, purified and expanded in the me-dium.The primary MSCs were expanded for 11 passages. The different-passage MSCs were induced to differentiate into osteoblasts and neuron-like cells.Karyotype analysis indicated that MSCs kept diploid condition and the hereditary feature was stable. The different-passage MSCs expressed CD44,ICAM-1 and SSEA-4,but not CD34,CD45 and SSEA-1 when detected by immunofluorescence staining. There was no significant difference among the positive rates of passages 2,6 and 8(P > 0.05),but a significant difference existed among those of passages 2,6,8 and 11(P < 0.05).After the osteogenic inducement was added, the induced different-passage MSCs expressed high-level alkaline phosphatase(ALP),and are positive for tetracycline staining,Alizarin Red staining and Von Kossa staining. After the neural inducement was added, about 70% cells exhibited typical neuron-like phenotype, the induced different-passage MSCs expressed Nestin,neuron-specific enolase(NSE) and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP) when detected by immunofluorescence staining. There was no significant difference among the positive rates of passages 3,4 and 6(P>0.05),but a significant difference existed among those of passages 3,4,6 and 8(P<0.05).These results suggest that MSCs in duck were capable of differentiating into osteoblasts and neuron-like cells in vitro. | Linfeng Li Xiujuan Bai Xuelian Gong Hongkun Liu Lina Chen Weijun Guan Yuehui Ma | 2009 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,3: | 8
Radiopaque nano and polymeric materials for atherosclerosis imaging, embolization and other catheterization procedures显示文摘A review of radiopaque nano and polymeric materials for atherosclerosis imaging and catheterization procedures is presented in this paper. Cardiovascular diseases(CVDs) are the leading cause of death in the US with atherosclerosis as a significant contributor for mortality and morbidity. In this review paper, we discussed the physics of radiopacity and X-ray/CT, clinically used contrast agents, and the recent progress in the development of radiopaque imaging agents and devices for the diagnosis and treatment of CVDs. We focused on radiopaque imaging agents for atherosclerosis, radiopaque embolic agents and drug eluting beads, and other radiopaque medical devices related to catheterization procedures to treat CVDs. Common strategies of introducing radiopacity in the polymers, together with examples of their applications in imaging and medical devices, are also presented. | Li Tian Linfeng Lu James Feng Marites P.Melancon | 2018 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2018,8,3: | 5
Insights into triterpene synthesis and unsaturated fatty-acid accumulation provided by chromosomallevel genome analysis of Akebia trifoliata subsp . australis显示文摘Akebia trifoliata subsp.australis is a well-known medicinal and potential woody oil plant in China. The limited genetic information available for A.trifoliata subsp.australis has hindered its exploitation. Here,a high-quality chromosomelevel genome sequence of A.trifoliata subsp.australis is reported. The de novo genome assembly of 682.14 Mb was generated with a scaffold N50 of 43.11 Mb.The genome includes 25,598 protein-coding genes, and 71.18%(485.55 Mb)of the assembled sequences were identi fi ed as repetitive sequences. An ongoing massive burst of long terminal repeat(LTR)insertions, which occurred~1.0 million years ago,has contributed a large proportion of LTRs in the genome of A.trifoliata subsp.australis.Phylogenetic analysis shows that A.trifoliata subsp.australis is closely related to Aquilegia coerulea and forms a clade with Papaver somniferum and Nelumbo nucifera, which supports the well-established hypothesis of a close relationship between basal eudicot species. The expansion of UDP-glucoronosyl and UDP-glucosyl transferase gene families and fi-amyrin synthase-like genes and the exclusive contraction of terpene synthase gene families may be responsible for the abundant oleanane-type triterpenoids in A.trifoliata subsp.australis.Furthermore,the acyl-ACP desaturase gene family, including 12 stearoyl-acyl-carrier protein desaturase(SAD)genes, has expanded exclusively.A combined transcriptome and fatty-acid analysis of seeds at fi ve developmental stages revealed that homologs of SADs,acyl-lipid desaturase omega fatty acid desaturases(FADs),and oleosins were highly expressed, consistent with the rapid increase in the content of fatty acids, especially unsaturated fatty acids. The genomic sequences of A.trifoliata subsp.australis will be a valuable resource for comparative genomic analyses and molecular breeding. | Hui Huang Juan Liang Qi Tan Linfeng Ou Xiaolin Li Caihong Zhong Huilin Huang Ian Max Moller Xianjin Wu Songquan Song | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 5

The clock system for LHAASO WCDA based on reduced White Rabbit显示文摘Due to the large scale of Water Cherenkov Detector Array in Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory, the frontend digitization is imperative. Thus a clock distribution system is desired, which broadcasts the synchronous clock signals with low jitter to the frontend electronics distributed in the field of 90 000 m^2.The White Rabbit protocol provides an option, which has been approved to achieve sub-ns accuracy and ps jitter in the synchronization of around 1 000 nodes in the order of 10 km.But the hierarchy of the original is too complex for Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory application. Thus we proposed a reduced scheme based on the White Rabbit protocol. The validation circuit shows that the clock skew due to the fiber length difference can be adjusted to less than 25 ps and the clock jitter is less than 62 ps. | LI Cheng LIU Shubin SHANG Linfeng CAO Ping AN Qi | 2012 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,4: | 3
FeCo alloy catalysts promoting polysulfide conversion for advanced lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium sulfur batteries(LSBs)draw extensive interest because of the ultra-high capacity and low material cost. However, the sluggish lithium polysulfides(LIPSs)conversion processes are detrimental to cycle stability and rate capability, inhibiting the commercial application of LSBs.Here we present the well-designed Fe Co alloy catalysts anchored on porous carbon(FeCo-C)as sulfur host to improve the electrochemical performance by accelerating the conversion reactions. The FeCo alloy demonstrates high catalytic effect and strong adsorption capability of LIPSs,in which potential polarization can be greatly decreased and'shuttle effects'can be largely avoided. As a result, the obtained S/Fe Co-C composites show an initial specific capacity of 791.9 m Ah g^-1 at a large current density of 2 C and maintain 502.5 mAh g^-1 even after 500 cycles.Moreover,720 m Ah g^-1(corresponding to 70%retention)can be achieved after 100 cycles at 0.2 C with a high sulfur content of 80 wt%,enabling high sulfur utilization. This work not only provides a new insight to investigate the conversion kinetics of Li PSs,but also opens up a new avenue for advanced lithium sulfur batteries. | Hongyi Li Linfeng Fei Rong Zhang Shenglan Yu Yongyi Zhang Longlong Shu Yong Li Yu Wang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10: | 3
The Agpat4/LPA axis in colorectal cancer cells regulates antitumor responses via p38/p65 signaling in macrophages显示文摘Lipid metabolic reprogramming plays an essential role in regulating the progression of colorectal cancer(CRC).However, the effect of lysophosphatidic acid(LPA)metabolism on CRC development is incompletely characterized. Here,we compared the mRNA levels of human CRC tissues to those of paracarcinoma tissues and focused on the notably enriched LPA metabolic pathways. We identified and verified that 1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 4(Agpat4)was aberrantly expressed in CRC tissues and predicted poor survival in CRC patients.Manipulating Agpat4 expression in CRC cells did not affect the growth or migration of CRC cells in vitro, whereas Agpat4 silencing suppressed CRC cell growth in subcutaneous and peritoneal xenograft models.Mechanistically,Agpat4 silencing-induced LPA release from CRC cells and polarized macrophages to an M1-like phenotype through LPA receptors 1 and 3.This M1 activation, characterized by elevated p38/p65 signaling and increased proinflammatory cytokines, promoted the infiltration and activation of CD4+and CD8+T cells in the tumor microenvironment.Modulation of the Agpat4/LPA/p38/p65 axis regulated macrophage polarization,T-cell activity and CRC progression.Notably, combined therapy with LPA and regular chemotherapy drugs synergistically suppressed CRC development.Taken together, our results showed that the Agpat4/LPA axis in CRC cells regulated p38/p65 signaling-dependent macrophage polarization,T-cell activation, and CRC progression. The Agpat4/LPA/p38/p65 axis might represent a potential target for therapy in the clinic. | Dapeng Zhang Rongchen Shi Wei Xiang Xia Kang Bo Tang Chuan Li Linfeng Gao Xuan Zhang Lili Zhang Rongyang Dai Hongming Miao | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 3

Isolation and identifi cation of antimicrobial metabolites from sea anemone-derived fungus Emericella sp.SMA01显示文摘Marine symbiotic fungi represent an intriguing source of discovery of novel secondary metabolites with various biological activities.Sea anemones are benthic marine invertebrates, however, the cultivable symbiotic fungi residing in the sea anemones are paid few attentions compared to those derived from their cnidarian counterparts. Here we show the identification of antimicrobial secondary metabolites from the sea anemone-derived symbiotic fungi.Out offive isolated fungal strains, only the strain SMA01 showed strong antimicrobial activities, which was assigned into the genus Emericella based on the morphological characteristics and the ITS sequencing.Media swift from liquid fermentation to solid rice medium presented little influence on its antibacterial activity.A chemical investigation of the ethyl acetate extract of the Emericella sp.SMA01 led to discovery of the primary antibiotic metabolite phenazine-1-carboxylic acid. The IC_(50) values of the phenazine-1-carboxylic acid against Phytophthora capsici,Gibberella zeae, and Verticillium dahliae were determined to be 23.26-53.89μg/mL.To the best of our knowledge, this was the first report of Emericella sp.in sea anemones. The current study may benefit understanding of the defensive chemical interactions between the symbiotic fungi and their host sea anemones. | Yang YUE Huahua YU Rongfeng LI Linfeng HU Song LIU Rong’e XING Pengcheng LI | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,3: | 2
Numerical study of mono-crystalline silicon solar cells with passivated emitter and rear contact configuration for the efficiency beyond 24% based on mass production technology显示文摘Mono-crystalline silicon solar cells with a passivated emitter rear contact(PERC)configuration have attracted extensive attention from both industry and scientific communities.A record efficiency of 24.06%on p-type silicon wafer and mass production efficiency around 22%have been demonstrated, mainly due to its superior rear side passivation. In this work, the PERC solar cells with a p-type silicon wafer were numerically studied in terms of the surface passivation, quality of silicon wafer and metal electrodes.A rational way to achieve a 24%mass-production efficiency was proposed.Free energy loss analyses were adopted to address the loss sources with respect to the limit efficiency of 29%,which provides a guideline for the design and manufacture of a high-efficiency PERC solar cell. | Peng Wang Gaofei Li Miao Wang Hong Li Jing Zheng Liyou Yang Yigang Chen Dongdong Li Linfeng Lu | 2020 | Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,6: | 2
Experimental comparison of SiC GTO and ETO for pulse power applications显示文摘Silicon carbide(SiC) emitter turn-off thyristors(ETOs) are very promising high power capacity semiconductor devices for high voltage and high power density power systems and pulse power applications. However, reports on comparison of high voltage SiC GTOs and ETOs in pulse power applications have been rare. In this paper, a comprehensive study on a 6.5 kV SiC GTO and ETO are carried out to demonstrate the superior performance of the SiC ETO over the GTO in pulse power application. A 6.5 kV SiC ETO was designed and tested with a printed circuit board(PCB) integrated gate driver. The forward conduction characteristics of the SiC ETO and GTO in elevated temperatures are measured and compared, showing the excellent temperature coefficient of the SiC ETO's output characteristics. Their turn-off characteristics with resistive load are measured and compared, demonstrating that the SiC ETO has much faster switching speed and smaller turn-off loss. Experimental results demonstrate that the SiC ETO has a better performance, especially with respect to its switching characteristics, making it a very competitive candidate for high power and pulse power applications. | Cheng Zeng Linfeng Deng Zongjian Li Jun Wang | 2018 | Journal of Semiconductors2018,39,12: | 2
A 10 bit 200 MS/s pipeline ADC using loading-balanced architecture in 0.18 μm CMOS显示文摘A new loading-balanced architecture for high speed and low power consumption pipeline analog-todigital converter(ADC) is presented in this paper. The proposed ADC uses SHA-less, op-amp and capacitor-sharing technique, capacitor-scaling scheme to reduce the die area and power consumption. A new capacitor-sharing scheme was proposed to cancel the extra reset phase of the feedback capacitors. The non-standard inter-stage gain increases the feedback factor of the first stage and makes it equal to the second stage, by which, the load capacitor of op-amp shared by the first and second stages is balanced. As for the fourth stage, the capacitor and op-amp no longer scale down. From the system's point of view, all load capacitors of the shared OTAs are balanced by employing a loadingbalanced architecture. The die area and power consumption are optimized maximally. The ADC is implemented in a 0.18 μm 1P6M CMOS technology, and occupies a die area of 1.2×1.2 mm^2. The measurement results show a 55.58 dB signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio(SNDR) and 62.97 dB spurious-free dynamic range(SFDR) with a 25 MHz input operating at a 200 MS/s sampling rate. The proposed ADC consumes 115 m W at 200 MS/s from a 1.8 V supply. | Linfeng Wang Qiao Meng Hao Zhi Fei Li | 2017 | Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,7: | 2
Functions of non-coding RNAs in regulating cancer drug targets显示文摘With the development of precision medicine, the efficiency of tumor treatment has been significantly improved.More attention has been paid to targeted therapy and immunotherapy as the key to precision treatment of cancer.Targeting epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)has become one of the most important targeted treatments for various cancers.Comparing with traditional chemotherapy drugs, targeting EGFR is highly selective in killing tumor cells with better safety, tolerability and less side effect. In addition, tumor immunotherapy has become the fourth largest tumor therapy after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, especially immune checkpoint inhibitors. However, these treatments still produce a certain degree of drug resistance.Non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)were found to play a key role in carcinogenesis, treatment and regulation of the efficacy of anticancer drugs in the past few years. Therefore,in this review,we aim to summarize the targeted treatment of cancers and the functions of ncRNAs in cancer treatment. | Binshu Chai Zhongliang Ma Xianyi Wang Linfeng Xu Yanli Li | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,3: | 1
Therapeutic effects of epigallocatechin and epigallocatechin gallate on the allergic reaction ofα_(s1)-casein sensitized mice显示文摘To investigate the anti-α_(s1)-casein allergy mechanism of two tea-derived polyphenols, epigallocatechin(EGC)and epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG),BALB/c mice were sensitized and challenged withα_(s1)-casein and nutritional intervention was given by EGC and EGCG during the sensitization provocation phase. The main evaluation indexes used were levels of mast cell proteases, histamine, and specific antibody immunoglobulin E(IgE),as well as cytokine secretion and pathological observation. The results showed that both EGC and EGCG significantly reduced levels of mast cell protease, histamine, specific IgE antibodies, and Th2 cytokines in allergic mice. The histopathology results showed that both EGC and EGCG markedly reduced the degree of lesions in the intestine, thymus, spleen, and lung. The conclusions from this study can provide a theoretical basis for the mechanism by which tea polyphenols regulate food allergens. | Qianqian Zhang Xiaofeng Yu Linghan Tian Yanjun Cong Linfeng Li | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3: | 1
PIG3 downregulation enhances the radiosensitivity of NSCLC cells by promoting G_(2)/M cell cycle arrest and apoptosis显示文摘Objective:To investigate the mechanism of p53-induced gene 3(PIG3)-regulation of radioresistance in human non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cells,in order to explore new biomarkers and therapeutic targets to combat radioresistance and improve the 5-year survival rate. Methods:The PIG3 gene was knocked down in A549 cells using siRNA,and was overexpressed in H1299 cells using a PIG3 expression plasmid. After confirming PIG3 knockdown and overexpression through the Western blot analysis, the radiosensitivity,DNA damage, cell cycle distribution, and apoptosis in these cells were analyzed using colony formation assay, immunofluorescence staining forγH2AX,and flow cytometry,respectively.Results:PIG3 silencing markedly increased the radiosensitivity of NSCLC cells, with radiosensitization ratios of 1.12 and 1.25.Compared with the corresponding negative control,PIG3 knockdown significantly enhanced G2/M phase arrest(siNC:26.12±2.50,siPIG3#1:34.98±4.19,siPIG3#2:37.79±3.53,P<0.05),promoted radiation-induced apoptosis(siNC:14.61±1.85,siPIG3#1:17.26±1.14,siPIG3#2:20.70±2.04,P<0.05),and reduced the number ofγ-H2AX foci 0.5,1,and 2 h after radiation(P<0.05).Conversely,PIG3 overexpression markedly decreased the radiosensitivity of NSCLC cells,as evidenced by the reduction of G2/M phase arrest(NC:33.18±2.11 vs.PIG3:24.21±3.09,P<0.05)and apoptosis(NC:15.49±0.56 vs.PIG3:12.79±0.29,P<0.05),and increased DNA damage(P<0.05).Conclusions:PIG3 downregulation increases the radiosensitivity of NSCLC cells, and PIG3-upregulation leads to the progression in radioresistance.Therefore,PIG3 is a potential target for radiotherapy for NSCLC. | Hao Zhou Linfeng Tang Zeng-Fu Shang Ping-Kun Zhou Ming Li | 2023 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2023,4,1: | 1

Magnetic resonance imaging characteristics of postoperative intracranial dissemination of recurrent gliomas显示文摘Ten intracranial gliomas cases, that had postoperative intracranial dissemination, underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations, including T1 weighted imaging, fat-suppressed T1 weighted imaging, T2 weighted imaging and fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR). Results showed that tumor metastasis had occurred via the cerebrospinal fluid, the brain white matter fibers and the surgical access site alone. On the plain MRI scans, 1/7 cases were linearly thickened with isointensity and 5/7 cases exhibited nodular foci on T1 weighted imaging; the cerebral sulci and cisterns in 2/7 cases had become shallow and five cases had nodular foci on T2 weighted imaging. FLAIR imaging revealed that the cerebral sulci and cisterns in 2/7 cases had become shallow and that six cases had affected nodular foci. The contrast-enhanced MRI scans revealed linear thickening in seven cases, nodules in seven cases, similarities to 'mould-like' signs in six cases and hydrocephalus in six cases. These findings suggested that MRI with different sequences can diagnose glioma metastasis. | Linfeng Zheng Guixiang Zhang Jinglong Zhao Han Wang Kang'an Li Lin Zhang Xifu Wang Pengpeng Sun Yunsheng Hu | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,33: | 1
