1Cascaded electron transition in CuWO4/CdS/CDs heterostructure accelerating charge separation towards enhanced photocatalytic activity显示文摘CuWO4,as an n-type oxide semiconductor with a bandgap of 2.2 eV,has stimulated enormous interest as a potential broad-spectrum-active photocatalyst for environmental pollution remediations.However,rapid charge recombination greatly hinders its practical applications.Herein,we present a cascaded electron transition pathway in a ternary heterostructure consisting of CdS quantum dots,carbon dots(CDs)and CuWO4 hollow spheres,which proves to greatly facilitate the photogenerated electron-hole separation,and eventually boosts the degradation efficiency of phenol and congo red by 100%and 46%compared to bare CuWO4.The enhanced performance of the CuWO4/CdS/CDs heterostructure mainly originates from the unidirectional electron migration from CdS to CuWO4 and then to the organics through CDs.This work elucidates the electron transfer kinetics in multi-phase system and provides a new design paradigm for optimizing the properties of CuWO4 based photocatalysts.Yibo Chen Jing-Feng Li Pei-Yu Liao Ying-Shan Zeng Zhu Wang Zhao-Qing Liu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,6:4

3Seasonal Variability of Phytoplankton Community Structure in Relation to Different Nitrogen-Phosphorus Ratios in the Southern Coastal Waters of Zhejiang, China显示文摘With the rapid development of economy and increase of population in the drainage areas,the nutrient loading has increased dramatically in the Changjiang estuary and adjacent coastal waters.To properly assess the impact of nutrient enrichment on phytoplankton community,seasonal microcosm experiments were conducted during August 2010 July 2011 in the coastal waters of Zhejiang Province.The results of the present study indicated that the chl a concentration,cell abundance,diversity indices,species composition and community succession of the phytoplankton varied significantly with different N/P ratios and seasons.Higher growth was observed in the 64:1(spring),32:1(summer),16:1(autumn)and 128:1,256:1(winter)treatments,respectively.The values of Shannon-Wiener index(H′)and Pielou evenness index(J)were lower in the 8:1 and 16:1 treatments in autumn test,while H'value was higher in the 128:1 and 8:1 treatments in winter test.A definite community succession order from diatoms to dinoflagellates was observed in the autumn and winter tests,while the diatoms dominated the community throughout the culture in the spring and summer tests.HUANG Wei ZHU Xuyu CHEN Quanzhen HE Qing LIAO Yibo DU Ping ZHANG Peng ZENG Jiangning 2013Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,4:2
4Visible light-assisted peroxydisulfate activation via hollow copper tungstate spheres for removal of antibiotic sulfamethoxazole显示文摘The contamination of antibiotics in aqueous environment causes increasing concerns recently.Lightassisted activation of peroxydisulfate(PDS)has been demonstrated as an efficient technology for re moval of contamination in water.Herein,a hollow sphere of CuWO_(4)(h-CuWO_(4))was employed as a visible lightactivated photocatalyst for the activation of PDS,and following with high removal efficiency(98%)of antibiotic sulfamethoxazole(SMX).Under visible light irradiation,the degradation rate on hollow structures system is nearly 2 times higher than the traditional solid CuWO_(4) spheres.Furthermore,the underlying mechanism and detailed pathway of SMX degradation were proposed based on density functional theory(DFT)calculations and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS).This work provides a new feasible way for advanced oxidation processes to remove antibiotics SMX in heterogeneous system,and open up new application possibilities of CuWO_(4)-based materials.Minxian Zhang Jie He Yibo Chen Pei-Yu Liao Zhao-Qing Liu Mingshan Zhu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:1

6A stamp based exploration framework for numerical weather forecast显示文摘Numerical weather simulation data usually comprises various meteorological variables, such as precipitation, temperature and pressure. In practical applications, data generated with several different numerical simulation models are usually used together by forecasters to generate the final forecast. However, it is difficult for forecasters to obtain a clear view of all the data due to its complexity. This has been a great limitation for domain experts to take advantage of all the data in their routine work. In order to help explore the multi-variate and multi-model data, we propose a stamp based exploration framework to assist domain experts in analyzing the data. The framework is used to assist domain experts in detecting the bias patterns between numerical simulation data and observation data. The exploration pipeline originates from a single meteorological variable and extends to multiple variables under the guidance of a designed stamp board. Regional data patterns can be detected by analyzing distinctive stamps on the board or generating extending stamps using the Boolean set operations. Experiment results show that some meteorological phenomena and regional data patterns can be easily detected through the exploration. 8Partial function prediction of sulfate-reducing bacterial community from the rhizospheres of two typical coastal wetland plants in China显示文摘Sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)are ubiquitous anaerobic microorganisms that play signifi cant roles in the global biogeochemical cycle.Coastal wetlands,one of the major habitats of SRB,exhibit high sulfate-reducing activity and thus play signifi cant roles in organic carbon remineralization,benthic geochemical action,and plant-microbe interactions.Recent studies have provided credible evidence that the functional rather than the taxonomic composition of microbes responds more closely to environmental factors.Therefore,in this study,functional gene prediction based on PacBio single molecular real-time sequencing of 16S rDNA was applied to determine the sulfate-reducing and organic substrate-decomposing activities of SRB in the rhizospheres of two typical coastal wetland plants in North and South China:Zostera japonica and Scirpus mariqueter.To this end,some physicochemical characteristics of the sediments as well as the phylogenetic structure,community composition,diversity,and proportions of several functional genes of the SRB in the two plant rhizospheres were analyzed.The Z.japonic a meadow had a higher dissimilatory sulfate reduction capability than the S.mariqueter-comprising saltmarsh,owing to its larger proportion of SRB in the microbial community,larger proportions of functional genes involved in dissimilatory sulfate reduction,and the stronger ability of the SRB to degrade organic substrates completely.This study confi rmed the feasibility of applying microbial community function prediction in research on the metabolic features of SRB,which will be helpful for gaining new knowledge of the biogeochemical and ecological roles of these bacteria in coastal wetlands.Xiaoyue SONG Jiangning ZENG Yi ZHOU Quanzhen CHEN Hongsheng YANG Lu SHOU Yibo LIAO Wei HUANG Ping DU Qiang LIU 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,1:0
9High-fidelity transfer of area-selective atomic layer deposition grown HfO_(2)through DNA origami-assisted nanolithography显示文摘DNA origami-assisted nanolithography(DOANL)for fabricating custom-designed nanomaterials through pattern transfer from DNA origami to different substrates materials are presented.However,the pattern's integrity and resolution face considerable challenges due to the uncontrollable growth of the nanomaterials during transformation and the unclear mechanism of DOANL.Herein,we report a DOANL combined with area-selective atomic layer deposition(ALD)strategy for fabricating custom shapes hafnium oxide(HfO2)with the high-fidelity and high-throughput.We find that the HfO_(2)selectively grows on DNA origami substrates in a hydroxyl-rich area instead of a methyl-rich protective layer.Combined with the merit of the area-selective ALD method,theHfO_(2)atom selectively coated on the DNA origami surface,thus,precisely modeling the shapes with high-precision in our study based on the surface groups difference of DNA origami and the naked hexamethyldisilane(HMDS)-treated substrates,which reveal the mechanical of high-fidelity pattern transfer based on DOANL.As a result,DNA origami structures can program the shape ofHfO_(2)nanostructures.The DOANL that is based on the principle of'bottom-up'precision assembly breaks through the shape complexity and high-throughput fabrication limitation of theHfO_(2)nanostructures,including two-and three-dimensional structures,plane and curved structures,monolithic and hollow structures.Based on the'top-down'accurate fabrication principle,the area-selective ALD on methyl-rich protective layer substrates improves the integrity and resolution of the pattern transfer process.Overall,this work provides a general technology for nanofabrication strategy.Xiaowan Yuan Daiqin Xiao Wei Yao Zhihao Zhang Lin Yang Liyuan Zhang Yibo Zeng Jiaqi Liao Shanxiong Luo Chonghao Li Hong Chen Xiangmeng Qu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
10Hazard Analysis and Primary Prevention and Treatment Report of Diseases and Pests in Export Blueberry Base in Majiang County显示文摘To fully understand occurrence and damage status of pests and diseases in export blueberry,systematic survey was conducted in Majiang export blueberry bases in Guizhou Province from 2012 to 2015. A total of 21 kinds of pests and diseases were found on blueberry,including 10 kinds of diseases and 11 kinds of pests. Comprehensive analysis of pests and diseases and their damage degree revealed that pests and diseases causing severe damage were gray mold,scarab and fruit fly,while gray mold and fruit fly might seriously affect the export of blueberry. 11Seasonal and regional diff erences in long-term changes in large mesozooplankton(>505μm)biomass and abundance in a semi-enclosed subtropical bay显示文摘Obvious spatiotemporal heterogeneity is a distinct characteristic of ecosystems in subtropical bays.To aid targeted management and ecological restoration in long and narrow semi-enclosed subtropical bays,we analyzed seasonal and regional differences in long-term changes(1980-2019)in the biomass and abundance of large mesozooplankton(LMZ;>505μm)in Xiangshan Bay,Zhejiang,China.We found spatiotemporal heterogeneity in the historical changes of LMZ.Significant negative trends in LMZ biomass were found in the inner and middle bay during the warm season(summer and autumn),when the nutrient concentration(especially dissolved inorganic nitrogen)and temperature increased simultaneously.Nutrient changes in Xiangshan Bay began in the late 1980s or early 1990s,coinciding with large-scale fish cage development.A rapid decline in LMZ biomass occurred after 2005 when power plants commenced operation,accelerating the warming trend.Therefore,the joint stress of eutrophication and warming likely precipitated the decline in LMZ biomass.Conversely,a significant increase in LMZ biomass was found in the outer bay in spring.This trend was consistent with the trend of LMZ biomass near the Changjiang(Yangtze)River estuary,which indicates that the pelagic ecosystem in the outer bay was aff ected by water from the Changjiang River estuary during spring.Based on our results,ecosystem management and restoration in semi-enclosed subtropical bays should focus on internal waters,which have a poor capacity for water exchange.For Xiangshan Bay,the changes in the Changjiang River estuary ecosystem during the cold season(winter and spring)should also be considered.Ping DU Zhibing JIANG Yuanli ZHU Yibo LIAO Quanzhen CHEN Jiangning ZENG Lu SHOU 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,6:0
12The Ecological Distributions of N, P Utilizing Bacteria and Heterotrophic Bacteria in the Moderate Hypoxia Zone of the Changjiang Estuary显示文摘The distributions of N utilizing bacteria (denitrifying bacteria and ammonifying bacteria) ,P utilizing bacteria (organic phosphobacteria and inorganic phosphobacteria) and heterotrophic bacteria in the Changjiang Estuary,and the roles of main environmental factors in distributing bacteria,are explored with observations from two cruises in June and August 2006.Comparisons between the two important periods of initial hypoxia phase (June) and developed hypoxia phase (August) show differences in both bacterial distributions and the associated main environmental factors.First,the primary group of ammonifying bacteria has larger magnitude with spatial maximum value in the hypoxic stations related to sediment in August.The phosphobacterial abundance and detection rates in August are much lower than those in June,but the denitrifying bacterial abundance becomes greater in August.However,the difference of heterotrophic bacterial abundance between June and August is not obvious.Second,main environmental factors influencing bacteria vary from initial hypoxia phase to developed hypoxia phase.Two parameters (salinity and NO3) in surface water and five environmental parameters (pH,salinity,PO43,NO3and temperature) in bottom water and surface sediment play major roles in the bacterial abundance in June,while different parameter combinations (salinity and PO43) in surface water and different parameter combinations (DO,DOC,NO3,PO43 and pH) in bottom water and surface sediment play major roles in August.Moreover,the bottom bacteria distributions in area south of 31 N are related to the position of the Taiwan Warm Current in June.The bacterial abundance and distribution may respond to the environmental change in the hypoxia processes of initial phase and developed phase.During the hypoxia processes,the whole structure of bacterial functional groups probably turns to different states,causing the recycling of nutrient regeneration and aggravating hypoxia regionally.LIU Jingjing DU Ping ZENG Jiangning CHEN Quanzhen SHOU Lu LIAO Yibo JIANG Zhibing 2013Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,4:0
13Responses of macrobenthic communities to patchy distributions of heavy metals and petroleum hydrocarbons in sediments:A study in China's Zhoushan Archipelago显示文摘This study conducted four cruises during 2014–2017 to investigate relationships between macrobenthic communities and sediment contaminations in sea area around the Zhoushan Archipelago.Fourteen sites were categorized into three groups:high total heavy metal contamination content(HHMC),high total petroleum hydrocarbon content(HTPH),and low content ratio of heavy metal contamination content to total petroleum hydrocarbon content(HMC/TPH)areas.Four main taxa of macrofauna(polychaetes,bivalves,gastropods,and crustaceans)were determined to respond to environmental factors differently.While tolerant polychaetes being the minimal impact by environmental factors,bivalves were threated by heavy metal pollutions in sediment.Additionally,body size distribution frequency demonstrated that macrofauna in the low HMC/TPH areas were less disturbed by contamination than those in the HHMC and HTPH areas.The result represented the presentation of sensitive species while tolerant species are usually considered as small size organisms.Overall,this study confirmed the hypothesis that the contamination levels of small-scale patches is indicated by the condition of macrobenthic communities.Yanbin Tang Qiang Liu Yibo Liao Konglin Zhou Lu Shou 2021Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,9:0
