1Occurrence of the Iron–rich Melt in the Heijianshan Iron Deposit, Eastern Tianshan, NW China: Insights into the Origin of Volcanic Rock–hosted Iron Deposits显示文摘Long-standing controversy persists over the presence and role of iron–rich melts in the formation of volcanic rock-hosted iron deposits. Conjugate iron–rich and silica–rich melt inclusions observed in thin-sections are considered as direct evidence for the presence of iron-rich melt, yet unequivocal outcrop-scale evidence of iron-rich melts are still lacking in volcanic rock-hosted iron deposits. Submarine volcanic rock-hosted iron deposits, which are mainly distributed in the western and eastern Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang, are important resources of iron ores in China, but it remains unclear whether iron-rich melts have played a role in the mineralization of such iron ores. In this study, we observed abundant iron-rich agglomerates in the brecciated andesite lava of the Heijianshan submarine volcanic rock–hosted iron deposit, Eastern Tianshan, China. The iron-rich agglomerates occur as irregular and angular masses filling fractures of the host brecciated andesite lava. They show concentric potassic alteration with silicification or epidotization rims, indicative of their formation after the wall rocks. The iron-rich agglomerates have porphyritic and hyalopilitic textures, and locally display chilled margins in the contact zone with the host rocks. These features cannot be explained by hydrothermal replacement of wall rocks(brecciated andesite lava) which is free of vesicle and amygdale, rather they indicate direct crystallization of the iron-rich agglomerates from iron-rich melts. We propose that the iron-rich agglomerates were formed by open-space filling of volatile-rich iron-rich melt in fractures of the brecciated andesite lava. The iron-rich agglomerates are compositionally similar to the wall-rock brecciated andesite lava, but have much larger variation. Based on mineral assemblages, the iron-rich agglomerates are subdivided into five types, i.e., albite-magnetite type, albite-K-feldsparmagnetite type, K-feldspar–magnetite type, epidote-magnetite type and quartz-magnetite type, representing that products formed at different stages during the evolution of a magmatic-hydrothermal system. The albite-magnetite type represents the earliest crystallization product from a residual ironrich melt; the albite-K-feldspar-magnetite and K-feldspar-magnetite types show features of magmatichydrothermal transition, whereas the epidote-magnetite and quartz-magnetite types represent products of hydrothermal alteration. The occurrence of iron-rich agglomerates provides macroscopic evidence for the presence of iron-rich melts in the mineralization of the Heijianshan iron deposit. 2Water filtration rate and infiltration/accumulation of low density lipoproteins in 3 different modes of endothelial/smooth muscle cell co-cultures显示文摘Using different endothelial/smooth muscle cell co-culture modes to simulate the intimal structure of blood vessels, the water filtration rate and the infiltration/accumulation of LDL of the cultured cell layers were studied. The three cell culture modes of the study were: (i) The endothelial cell monolayer (EC/Φ); (ii) endothelial cells directly co-cultured on the smooth muscle cell monolayer (EC-SMC); (iii) endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells cultured on different sides of a Millicell-CM membrane (EC/SMC). It was found that under the same condition, the water filtration rate was the lowest for the EC/SMC mode and the highest for the EC/Φ mode, while the infiltration/accumulation of DiI-LDLs was the lowest in the EC/Φ mode and the highest in the EC-SMC mode. It was also found that DiI-LDL infiltration/accumulation in the cultured cell layers increased with the increasing water filtration rate. 3The molecular chaperone Hsp90α deficiency causes retinal degeneration by disrupting Golgi organization and vesicle transportation in photoreceptors显示文摘Heat shock protein 90(Hsp90)is an abundant molecular chaperone with two isoforms,Hsp90α and Hsp90p.Hsp90β deficiency causes embryonic lethality,whereas Hsp90α deficiency causes few abnormities except male sterility.In this paper,we reported that Hsp90α was exclusively expressed in the retina,testis,and brain.Its deficiency caused retinitis pigmentosa(RP),a disease leading to blindness.In Hsp90α-deficient mice,the retina was deteriorated and the outer segment of photoreceptor was deformed.Immunofluorescence staining and electron microscopic analysis revealed disintegrated Golgi and aberrant intersegmental vesicle transportation in Hsp90α-deficient photoreceptors.Proteomic analysis identified microtubule-associated protein IB(MAP1B)as an Hsp90α-associated protein in photoreceptors.Hspcx deficiency increased degradation of MAP1B by inducing its ubiquitination,causing a-tubulin deacetylation and microtubule destabilization.Furthermore,the treatment of wild-type mice with 17-DMAG,an Hsp90 inhibitor of geldanamycin derivative,induced the same retinal degeneration as Hsp90α deficiency.Taken together,the microtubule destabilization could be the underlying reason for Hsp90α deficiency-induced RP.Yuan Wu Xiudan Zheng Yubo Ding Min Zhou Zhuang Wei Tao Liu Kan Liao 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,3:4

5The molecular chaperone Hsp90 maintains Golgi organization and vesicular trafficking by regulating microtubule stability显示文摘Hsp90 is an abundant and special molecular chaperone considered to be the regulator of many transcription factors and signaling kinases. Its high abundance is indicative of its involvement in some more fundamental processes. In this study, we provide evidence that Hsp90 is required for microtubule stabilization, Golgi organization, and vesicular trafficking. We showed that Hsp90 is bound to microtubule-associated protein 4 (MAP4), which is essential for maintaining microtubule acetylation and stabilization. Hsp90 depletion led to the decrease in MAP4, causing microtubule deacetylation and destabilization. Furthermore, in Hsp90-depleted cells, the Golgi apparatus was fragmented and anterograde vesicle trafficking was impaired, with phenotypes similar to those induced by silencing MAP4. These disruptive effects of Hsp90 depletion could be rescued by the expression of exogenous MAP4 or the treatment of trichostatin A that increases microtubule acetylation as well as stability. 6The effect of mechanical loads on the degradation of aliphatic biodegradable polyesters显示文摘Aliphatic biodegradable polyesters have been the most widely used synthetic polymers for developing biodegradable devices as alternatives for the currently used permanent medical devices.The performances during biodegradation process play crucial roles for final realization of their functions.Because physiological and biochemical environment in vivo significantly affects biodegradation process,large numbers of studies on effects of mechanical loads on the degradation of aliphatic biodegradable polyesters have been launched during last decades.In this review article,we discussed the mechanism of biodegradation and several different mechanical loads that have been reported to affect the biodegradation process.Other physiological and biochemical factors related to mechanical loads were also discussed.The mechanical load could change the conformational strain energy and morphology to weaken the stability of the polymer.Besides,the load and pattern could accelerate the loss of intrinsic mechanical properties of polymers.This indicated that investigations into effects of mechanical loads on the degradation should be indispensable.More combination condition of mechanical loads and multiple factors should be considered in order to keep the degradation rate controllable and evaluate the degradation process in vivo accurately.Only then can the degradable devise achieve the desired effects and further expand the special applications of aliphatic biodegradable polyesters.Ying Li Zhaowei Chu Xiaoming Li Xili Ding Meng Guo Haoran Zhao Jie Yao Lizhen Wang Qiang Cai Yubo Fan 2017Regenerative Biomaterials2017,4,3:2

11A computational fluid study on hemodynamics in visceral arteries in a complicated type B aortic dissection after thoracic endovascular repair显示文摘Objective:To report a numerical research on the effect of a renal artery arising from false lumen(FL)on the treatment outcome of thoracic endovascular repair(TEVAR)for complicated type B aortic dissection(TBAD).Methods:The original patient-specific model with the right renal artery(RRA)partially supplied by the FL(TFM)was reconstructed from its postoperative computed tomography images.Two additional models were reconstructed by artificially modifying the RRA either fully arising from the FL(CFM)or true lumen(CTM).Computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations were performed.Results:First,for all the models,the flow splits to all the visceral arteries were much less than those of a healthy aorta.Second,the flow split to RRA in the CFM and in CTM was the least and largest respectively.Third,in TFM,the pressure gradient between the true lumen(TL)and FL was negative at the proximal FL and the entire FL was full of active blood flow.In the contrast,in CTM and CFM,the pressure differences between the two lumens remained positive and little flow was present in FL.Finally,both TL and proximal FL of this particular patient expanded and the diameters of all visceral arteries decreased at one-year follow-up.Conclusions:Compared to a healthy aorta,a renal artery arising from FL following TEVAR would result in severe visceral ischemia including RA and superior mesenteric artery(SMA).In addition,our numerical simulation of the postoperative hemodynamics of this particular patient perfectly matched with its TL remodeling,FL expansion and contraction of the visceral arteries at one-year follow-up,and a patient-specific CFD simulation may be adopted to obtain information on visceral perfusion after endovascular repair for TBAD patients.Kaihong Wang Da Li Ding Yuan Jichun Zhao Tinghui Zheng Yubo Fan 2021Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2021,,1:0

16Reshapeable,rehealable and recyclable sensor fabricated by direct ink writing of conductive composites based on covalent adaptable network polymers显示文摘Covalent adaptable network(CAN)polymers doped with conductive nanoparticles are an ideal candidate to create reshapeable,rehealable,and fully recyclable electronics.On the other hand,3D printing as a deterministic manufacturing method has a significant potential to fabricate electronics with low cost and high design freedom.In this paper,we incorporate a conductive composite consisting of polyimine CAN and multi-wall carbon nanotubes into direct-ink-writing 3D printing to create polymeric sensors with outstanding reshaping,repairing,and recycling capabilities.The developed printable ink exhibits good printability,conductivity,and recyclability.The conductivity of printed polyimine composites is investigated at different temperatures and deformation strain levels.Their shape-reforming and Joule heating-induced interfacial welding effects are demonstrated and characterized.Finally,a temperature sensor is 3D printed with defined patterns of conductive pathways,which can be easily mounted onto 3D surfaces,repaired after damage,and recycled using solvents.The sensing capability of printed sensors is maintained after the repairing and recycling.Overall,the 3D printed reshapeable,rehealable,and recyclable sensors possess complex geometry and extend service life,which assist in the development of polymer-based electronics toward broad and sustainable applications.Xu He Yuchen Lin Yuchen Ding Arif M Abdullah Zepeng Lei Yubo Han Xiaojuan Shi Wei Zhang Kai Yu 2022International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2022,4,1:0
17Jointly Part-of-Speech Tagging and Semantic Role Labeling Using Auxiliary Deep Neural Network Model显示文摘Previous studies have shown that there is potential semantic dependency between part-of-speech and semantic roles.At the same time,the predicate-argument structure in a sentence is important information for semantic role labeling task.In this work,we introduce the auxiliary deep neural network model,which models semantic dependency between part-of-speech and semantic roles and incorporates the information of predicate-argument into semantic role labeling.Based on the framework of joint learning,part-of-speech tagging is used as an auxiliary task to improve the result of the semantic role labeling.In addition,we introduce the argument recognition layer in the training process of the main task-semantic role labeling,so the argument-related structural information selected by the predicate through the attention mechanism is used to assist the main task.Because the model makes full use of the semantic dependency between part-of-speech and semantic roles and the structural information of predicate-argument,our model achieved the F1 value of 89.0%on the WSJ test set of CoNLL2005,which is superior to existing state-of-the-art model about 0.8%.Yatian Shen Yubo Mai Xiajiong Shen Wenke Ding Mengjiao Guo 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,10:0
