On the U-Pb concordia diagram data of three samples yield up-per intercept ages of 1948-1917 Ma. Thus, these basement gneisses are of Paleoproterozoic. Rock association of these basement gneisses includes tonalite, syenite and paragneiss, not belonging to a sedimentary package. | 3 | Image segmentation of overlapping leaves based on Chan–Vese model and Sobel operator显示文摘To improve the segmentation precision of overlapping crop leaves,this paper presents an effective image segmentation method based on the Chan–Vese model and Sobel operator.The approach consists of three stages.First,a feature that identifies hues with relatively high levels of green is used to extract the region of leaves and remove the background.Second,the Chan–Vese model and improved Sobel operator are implemented to extract the leaf contours and detect the edges,respectively.Third,a target leaf with a complex background and overlapping is extracted by combining the results obtained by the Chan–Vese model and Sobel operator.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,a segmentation experiment was performed on 30 images of cucumber leaf.The mean error rate of the proposed method is 0.0428,which is a decrease of 6.54%compared with the mean error rate of the level set method.Experimental results show that the proposed method can accurately extract the target leaf from cucumber leaf images with complex backgrounds and overlapping regions. | Zhibin Wang Kaiyi Wang Feng Yang Shouhui Pan Yanyun Han | 2018 | Information Processing in Agriculture2018,5,1: | 7 |
| 4 | Fenitized Wall Rock Geochemistry of the First Carbonatite Dyke at Bayan Obo, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘The first carbonatite dyke at Bayan Obo is well exposed on the surface for a length and width of approximately 60 m and 1.1–1.5 m, respectively. Along its strike, the fenitized H1(Qs) and H2(Cs) quartzite is replaced by Na-amphiboles, aegirines, and alkali-feldspars, intermittently stretching as far away as 800 m in length. Based on petrographical characteristics, the dyke's fenitized wall rocks are divisible into different zones:(1) outer,(2) middle, and(3) inner. The outer zone is 5–17 m from the NW margin of the dyke. The middle zone is located at 3.5–5 m from the NW margin of the dyke. The inner contact zone is located between direct contact with the dyke and 3.5 m from the dyke. In the outer zone, upon visual examination, no evidence of outcrop fenitization was found and the major elemental rock composition is nearly identical to the unaltered H1 and H2 lithologies. In the thin sections, however, small amounts of Na-amphibole and phlogopite are present. Despite relatively poor development throughout the 5 m of fenitization, the wall rocks have retained at least a small geochemical signature comparable to the original sedimentary protolith. The fenites occurring in the inner zone exhibit distinct variations, not only for the sharp contact at the outcrop scale, but also for variations in major, rare earth elements(REE), and trace elements and Sm-Nd isotope composition. The wall rocks within 3.5 m have undergone strong fenitization, inheriting the geochemical signature derived from the carbonatite dyke. Fenitization in the middle zone was not as strong, at least compared to the inner zone, but was stronger than the outer zone. Compared to some trace elements and REEs, the major elements are relatively immobile during fenitization. The Sm-Nd isotope data for the carbonatite dyke and the adjacent fenitized wall rocks, where the Sm and Nd originate solely from the dyke, plots as a six-point isochron with an age of 1308±56 Ma. This age is identical to that of ore-bearing dolomite carbonatite and the related ore-forming events, indicating that there may be a petrogenetic link between the two. | 12 | Numerical Study on the Gas Leakage and Dispersion at the Street Intersection of a Building Group显示文摘Accidents involving natural gas leakage and dispersion pose a significant threat to human life and property.This threat is especially relevant at the street intersection at which dense buildings,heavy traffic flow,and complex underground pipe networks meet.Scholars have conducted numerous studies on gas leakage and dispersion,but investigations of natural gas leakage and dispersion at the street intersection of a building group are not in-depth.In this paper,we presented a three-dimensional(3D)physical model based on the Computational Fluid Dynamic(CFD)methodology to study the natural gas leakage and dispersion at the street intersection of a building group.We validated the CFD methodology applied in the research based on the data from the field tests and wind tunnel experiments.Then,we simulated and analyzed the pressure,wind,and concentration of natural gas dispersion at the street intersection.The simulation results showed that vortex regions,low-pressure zones,and a building group effect could cause a build-up of natural gas concentration under perpendicular wind direction conditions.In addition,the area of hazardous region tended to increase first and then drop with the dispersion height.In the case of this study,the maximum area of hazardous region is 200 m2 located in the height of 55 m,which is the middle plane in the computational domain.The results in the paper can provide scientific references for the safe operation and emergency-management decisions of municipal gas. | Weitao Zhang Mengqi Liu Kaiyi Wang Fan Zhang Lei Hou | 2020 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,6: | 0 |

| 14 | Dynamic ensemble selection of convolutional neural networks and its application in flower classification显示文摘In recent years,convolutional neural networks(CNNs)have achieved great success in image classification.However,CNN models usually have complex network structures that tend to cause some related problems,such as redundancy of network parameters,low training efficiency,overfitting,and weak generalization ability.To solve these problems and improve the accuracy of flower classification,the advantages of CNNs were combined with those of ensemble learning and a method was developed for the dynamic ensemble selection of CNNs.First,MobileNet models pre-trained on a public dataset were transferred to flower datasets to train thirteen different MobileNet classifiers,and a resampling strategy was used to enhance the diversity of individual models.Second,the thirteen classifiers were sorted by a classifier sorting algorithm,before ensemble selection,to avoid an exhaustive search.Finally,with the credibility of recognition results,a classifier subset was dynamically selected and integrated to identify the flower species from their images.To verify the effectiveness,the proposed method was used to classify the images of five flower species.The accuracy of the proposed method was 95.50%,an improvement of 1.62%,3.94%,22.04%,13.77%,and 0.44%,over those of MobileNet,Inception-v1,ResNet-50,Inception-ResNet-v2,and the linear ensemble method,respectively.In addition,the performance of the proposed method was compared with five other methods for flower classification.The experimental results demonstrated the accuracy and robustness of the proposed method. | Zhibin Wang Kaiyi Wang Xiaofeng Wang Shouhui Pan Xiaojun Qiao | 2022 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,1: | 0 |
