| 1 | Application of DVA theory in vibration reduction of carbody with suspended equipment for high-speed EMU显示文摘The theory of dynamic vibration absorber(DVA)was applied to restrain the vibration of carbody for high-speed electric multiple unit(EMU).The carbody was modeled as an Euler-Bernoulli beam with the equipment mounted on the chassis regarded as a DVA.Suspension parameters of the equipment were optimized based on the modal analysis of the beam and parameter optimization of the DVA.Vertical motion equations of the carbody and equipment were derived to study the effect of the suspension parameters on the vibration of carbody,which included the suspension frequency,damping ratio,mounting position and mass.Then a 3D rigid-flexible coupled vehicle system dynamics model was built to simulate the response of carbody and equipment to track excitation.The results show that the equipment mounted on the carbody chassis can be regarded as a DVA to reduce the flexible vibration of carbody,and the optimum suspension frequency can be calculated theoretically with the first-order vertical bending mode of carbody considered.Heavy equipment should be mounted to the carbody center as close as possible to obtain a significant vibration reduction,while light equipment has quite limited contribution to that.Also,a laboratory test was conducted on the full-scale test rig which shows a good agreement with the theoretical analysis and dynamic simulations.The faster the vehicle runs,the more significant are the advantages of the elastic suspension. | SHI HuaiLong LUO Ren WU PingBo ZENG Jing GUO JinYing | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,7: | 14 |
| 2 | Influence of equipment excitation on flexible carbody vibration of EMU显示文摘To study the vibration transmission characteristics of a flexible carbody and its suspended equipment, a vertical mathematical model of high-speed electric multiple unit was established with equipment excitation considered.And the dynamic unbalance and impact turbulence excitation from equipment were taken into account in a singlestage and two-stage vibration isolation system, respectively.Results show that the excitation transferred to carbody increases with suspension stiffness but decreases with the equipment mass increasing; the vibration transmission can be reduced by increasing the equipment mass or reduce the suspension stiffness. To avoid vibration resonance, the dynamic unbalance frequency of equipment should be out of the possible range of the carbody flexible modes, and a small stiffness should be applied to reduce the impact turbulence. A small stiffness, however, would result in a large movement of the equipment which is limited by the static deflection requirement, while a great stiffness will transfer high frequency vibration. Therefore, a preferred stiffness should make the suspension frequency of equipment a bit greater than the first bending mode of carbody. Additionally,a 3D rigid-flexible coupled dynamics model was built to verify the mathematical analysis, and they show good agreements. | 3 | Protective effects of acupuncture on brain tissue following ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘BACKGROUND: In patients with cerebrovascular disease, by means of the neuroendocrine system, acupuncture supports the transformation of a local pathological status into a physiological status. Recently, great progress has been made in studying the protective effects of acupuncture on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury. OBJECTIVE: To summarize research advances in the protective effects of acupuncture on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury. RETRIEVAL STRATEGY: Using the terms 'acupuncture, transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation, cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury, and cerebral protection', we retrieved articles from the PubMed database published between January 1991 and June 1994. Meanwhile, we searched the China National Knowledge Infrastructure with the same terms. Altogether, 114 articles and their results were analyzed. Inclusive criteria: studies that were closely related to the protective effects of acupuncture on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury, or studies, whose contents were in the same study field and were published recently, or in the authorized journals. Exclusive criteria: repetitive studies. LITERATURE EVALUATION: Thirty articles that related to the protective effects of acupuncture on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury were included. Among them, 7 were clinical studies, and the remaining 23 articles were animal experimental studies. DATA SYNTHESIS: ① Animal experimental studies have demonstrated that acupuncture improves brain blood perfusion and brain electrical activity, influences pathomorphological and ultramicrostructural changes in ischemic brain tissue, is beneficial in maintaining the stability of intracellular and extracellular ions, resists free radical injury and lipid peroxidation, and influences cytokine, neurotransmitter, brain cell signal transduction, and apoptosis-regulating genes. ② Clinical studies have demonstrated that acupuncture not only promotes nutritional supply to local brain tissue in patients with cerebral infarction, but also increases brain blood flow and attenuates inflammatory reactions of injured brain tissue. ③ At present, the mechanisms underlying the protective effects of acupuncture on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury have been greatly studied. Some conclusions, however, are not sufficient or comprehensive, and remain as primarily isolated incidents. CONCLUSION: Studies that focused on mechanisms that influence the protective effects of acupuncture on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury have provided results; however, several mechanisms are still poorly understood. | 5 | Improved lateral-dynamics-intended railway vehicle model involving nonlinear wheel/rail interaction and car body flexibility显示文摘To study the vehicle hunting behavior and its coupling with car body vibrations,a simplified lateral-dynamics-intended railway vehicle model is developed.A two-truck vehicle is modeled as a 17 degrees-of-freedom rigid system,into which the car body flexural vibrations of torsion and bending modes are further integrated.The wheel/rail interaction employs a real-time calculation for the Hertzian normal contact,in which the nonlinear curvatures of wheel and rail profiles are presented as functions of wheelset lateral movement and/or yaw rotation.Then the tangential/creep forces are analytically expressed as the Hertzian contact patch geometry,and lead to a continuous and fast calculation compared to a look-up table interpolation.It is shown that the hunting frequencies of the vehicle model and a truck model differ significantly,which verifies the necessity of the whole vehicle model.In the case of low wheel/rail conicity,the hunting frequency increases linearly with vehicle speed,whereas it rises slowly at high speed for a large conicity.Comparison of hunting frequency and damping ratio between various conicities shows that first hunting(car body hunting)may occur when the vehicle is operated at a low speed in a small conicity case,while a second hunting(truck hunting)appears when the vehicle is operated at a high speed in a large conicity case.Stability analysis of linear and nonlinear vehicle models was carried out through coast down method and constant speed simulations.Results tell that the linear one overestimates the lateral vibrating.Whereas the structural vibrations of car body can be ignored in the stability analysis.Compared to existing simplified models for hunting stability study,the proposed simplified vehicle model released limitations in the nonlinear geometries of wheel/rail profiles,and it is suitable for a frequency-domain analysis by deriving the analytical expressions of the normal and tangential wheel/rail contact forces. | Huailong Shi Ren Luo Jinying Guo | 2021 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2021,37,6: | 1 |
