3Percent free prostate-specific antigen for prostate cancer diagnosis in Chinese men with a PSA of 4.0-10.0 ng/mL:Results from the Chinese Prostate Cancer Consortium显示文摘Objective:To test the diagnostic performance of percent free prostate-specific antigen(%fPSA)in predicting any prostate cancer(PCa)and high-grade prostate cancer(HGPCa)in a retrospective multi-center biopsy cohort with a PSA level of 4.0e10.0 ng/mL in China.Methods:Consecutive patients with a PSA of 4.0-10.0 ng/mL who underwent transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsy were enrolled at 16 Chinese medical centers from January 1st,2010 to December 31st,2013.Total and free serum PSA determinations were performed using three types of electro-chemiluminescence immunoassays recalibrated to the World Health Organization(WHO)standard.The diagnostic accuracy of PSA,%fPSA,and %fPSA in combination with PSA(%fPSA t PSA)was determined using the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve(AUC).Results:A total of 2310 consecutive men with PSA levels between 4.0 and 10.0 ng/mL were included,and the detection rate of PCa was 25.1%.The AUC of%fPSA and %fPSA t PSA in predicting any PCa was superior to PSA alone in men aged≥60 years(0.623 vs.0.534,p<0.0001)but not in men aged 40e59 years(0.517 vs.0.518,p=0.939).Similar result was yield in predicting HGPCa.Conclusion:In a clinical setting of Chinese men with 4.0e10.0 ng/mL PSA undergoing initial prostate biopsy,adding %fPSA to PSA can moderately improve the diagnostic accuracy for any PCa and HGPCa compared with PSA alone in patients≥60 but not in patients aged 40-59 years.Rui Chen Liping Xie Xiaobing Cai Yiran Huang Liqun Zhou Lulin Ma Xu Gao Chuanliang Xu Shancheng Ren Pengfei Shao Danfeng Xu Kexin Xu Zhangqun Ye Chunxiao Liu Dingwei Ye Li Lu Qiang Fu Jianquan Hou Jianlin Yuan Dalin He Tie Zhou Fubo Wang Biming He Yinghao Sun 2015Asian Journal of Urology2015,2,2:8

5A polypropylene melt-blown strategy for the facile and efficient membrane separation of oil-water mixtures显示文摘Porous materials with selective wettability and permeability have significant importance in oil-water separation,but complex fabrication processes are typically required to obtain the desired structures with suitable surface chemistry.In this work,an industrial melt-blown strategy that utilized commercially available polypropylene(PP)was used for the large-scale fabrication of superhydrophobic/superoleophilic membranes with staggered fabric structures.These membranes could readily separate different oils including pump oil and crude oil from various aqueous solutions such as strongly acidic,alkaline,and saline media.In addition,the separation efficiencies of these membranes exceeded 99%,and they could remain functional even after exposure to corrosive media.We anticipate that this work will further the design of membranes and enhance their applicability in oil-water separation,and provide researchers and engineers with a more effective tool for performing challenging separations and mitigating pollution.Zhenqiang Zhang Danfeng Yu Xiubin Xu Huayi Li Taoyan Mao Cheng Zheng Jianjia Huang Hui Yang Zihan Niu Xu Wu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1:3

7Bioresponsive nanotherapy for preventing dental caries by inhibiting multispecies cariogenic biofilms显示文摘Early childhood caries(ECC)is a public healthcare concern that greatly reduces the quality of life of young children.As a leading factor of ECC,cariogenic biofilms are composed of acidogenic/aciduric pathogens and extracellular polysaccharides(EPSs),creating an acidic and protected microenvironment.Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy(aPDT)is a noninvasive,painless,and efficient therapeutic approach that is suitable for treating ECC.However,due to the hyperfine structure of cariogenic biofilms,most photosensitizers(PSs)could not access and penetrate deeply in biofilms,which dramatically hamper their efficiency in the clinic.Herein,bioresponsive nanoparticle loaded with chlorin e6(MPP-Ce6)is developed,which largely increases the penetration depth(by over 75%)and retention(by over 100%)of PS in the biofilm compared with free Ce6.Furthermore,MPP-Ce6-mediated aPDT not only kills the bacteria in preformed biofilms but also inhibits multispecies biofilm formation.A rampant caries model is established to mimic ECC in vivo,where the population of cariogenic bacteria is decreased to 10%after MPP-Ce6-mediated aPDT.Importantly,the number and severity of carious lesions are efficiently reduced via Keyes’scoring and micro-CT analysis.This simple but effective strategy can serve as a promising approach for daily oral hygiene in preventing ECC.Danfeng Liu Xianbin Ma Yaoting Ji Rourong Chen Shuhui Zhou Hantao Yao Zichen Zhang Mengjie Ye Zhigang Xu Minquan Du 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,8:2
8Quantitative identification and the evolution characteristics of production–living–ecological space in the mountainous area:From the perspective of multifunctional land显示文摘Developed here is an integrated framework for identifying production–living–ecological space(PLES)quantitatively at grid scale from the perspective of multifunction land use,and 25 compound space types are classified to highlight the multiple functions of PLES.As a typical mountainous city in northern Hebei province,Zhangjiakou is used as a case study,and the results show that more than 80%of the land space in Zhangjiakou has remarkable triple functionality.The living-dominated space and the production-dominated space are distributed mainly in the valleys of the Yanghe,Sanggan,and Huliu rivers and have obvious spatial consistency,while the ecological-dominated space is concentrated mostly at the eastern Yanshan Mountains and southern Taihang Mountains and complements the other two types of space.The former two are spatially fragmented,while the latter has been expanding to the periphery over time.From 1990 to 2015,the ecological-dominated space has increased the most by 1555.02 km^(2),while the living-dominated space has increased the least by 816.79 km^(2).The types of PLES are more diverse in the medium and low mountains and the areas with gentle slope,and the influencing factors include natural ecological environment,socioeconomic development,human consumption demand,and institutional policies.Therefore,these findings can mitigate conflicts among PLES in mountainous and similar areas,and promote the balanced development of land space.JI Zhengxin LIU Chao XU Yueqing SUN Minxuan WEI Hejie SUN Danfeng LI Yaoyao ZHANG Ping SUN Qiangqiang 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,4:1

10Distribution of Organic Pesticide HCH in Jiaozhou Bay显示文摘According to the investigated data of Jiaozhou Bay in April,August,September and October of 1989,distribution,source and seasonal change of HCH in Jiaozhou Bay were analyzed. Results showed that HCH content changed during 0. 012 7-0. 069 8 μg /L in Jiaozhou Bay and was very low. Seen from HCH content,water in Jiaozhou Bay was cleaner,and HCH did not have seasonal change. Horizontal distribution of HCH showed that HCH was directly input into offshore water only by surface runoff,and there was no river input. HCH was area source and was from land. In Jiaozhou Bay,the maximum HCH was gradually becoming smaller,and input manner also changed. 15Synchronous bilateral multiple chromophobe cell renal carcinoma complicated with right kidney cyst: a case report显示文摘Synchronous bilateral multiple chromophobe cell renal carcinoma is rare; here we report a case diagnosed with bilateral renal multiple tumors complicated with a cyst in the right kidney. Retroperitoneal laparoscopic bilateral nephron sparing surgery was performed and there was no serious postoperative renal dysfunction. Pathological and immunohistochemical diagnoses of both tumors were chromophobe cell renal carcinoma. 17The growth status of relaxor-based ferroelectric crystals and their development trends显示文摘Our progress in the growth of ternary system Pb(In_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)–Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)–PbTiO_(3)(PIMNT)crystals and reviews on the possible developing trends in the piezoelectric crystals are presented.Large PIMNT crystals with 3 inches in diameter have been grown by using a modified Bridgman method.Meanwhile,Mn-doped PIMNT crystals have also been obtained.PIMNT crystals exhibit Curie temperature Tc190C,rhombohedral–tetragonal phase transition temperature Trt>100℃ and coercive field Ec5:0–7.0 kV/cm on(001)cuts.Meanwhile,higher piezoelectric constant d_(32)-1500–2200 pC/N,d_(15)4000–6000 pC/N and coercive field E_(c)-7:0–9.0 kV/cm have been achieved on(110)cuts.The development trends of relaxor-based ferroelectric crystals are suggested to grow novel crystals with high rhombohedral–tetragonal phase transition temperature T_(rt)>150-160℃ and/or high coercive field Ec and mechanical quality factor Q_(m),to promote growth efficiency of PIMNT crystals and to create new growth methods fitting for the growth of metastable or instable crystals.Guisheng Xu Danfeng Yang Jinfeng Liu Ying Liu Xiaxia Chen 2014Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2014,4,1:0
18Relationship between urodynamic patterns and lower urinary tract symptoms in Chinese women with a non-neurogenic bladder显示文摘Objective:To investigate the urodynamic study(UDS)patterns,obstruction status,continence status,and their correlations among neurologically intact women with lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)through an epidemiological and logistic regression analyses.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the UDS data of 3265 neurologically intact women with LUTS(2002e2014).Five UDS patterns were identified:normo-active detrusor/sphincter(NA,or DSI,detrusor/sphincter intact),idiopathic detrusor overactivity(IDO),idiopathic sphincter overactivity(ISO),IDO+ISO,and detrusor underactivity(DUA).Analyses of UDS pattern distribution and stratification were performed(based on a modification of the European Urological Association-Madersbacher classification system),and their correlations with bladder outlet obstruction(BOO)and stress urinary incontinence(SUI)status were evaluated via logistic regression analysis.Results:NA,IDO,IDO+ISO,ISO,and DUA were noted in 927(28.4%),678(20.8%),320(9.8%),689(21.1%),and 651(19.9%)cases,respectively.Moreover,storage,storage+voiding,and voiding symptoms were noted in 62.4%,21.1%,and 16.5% cases,respectively,whereas BOO and SUI were observed in 12.1%and 29.0%cases,respectively.The risk factors for BOO included NA,IDO,ISO,and IDO+ISO,whereas the protective factors against BOO included storage symptoms,SUI,storage+voiding symptoms,and complaint duration within 1e12 months.NA was the only risk factor for SUI,whereas BOO,storage+voiding symptoms,IDO,and storage symptoms were protective factors for SUI.Conclusion:Five UDS patterns were identified among neurologically intact women with LUTS.Functional abnormalities of the detrusor and/or sphincter were the main causes of LUTS,and were correlated with the BOO or SUI status.Thus,the UDS pattern can provide additional information regarding the risk factors for BOO or SUI status,as compared to symptomatic typing.Linhui Wang Cunzhou Wang Chuangyu Qu Lei Yin Danfeng Xu Xingang Cui Bing Liu 2016Asian Journal of Urology2016,3,1:0
19Cold exposure alters proteomic profiles of the hypothalamus and pituitary in female rats显示文摘Objective:Studies have shown that both short-term and long-term cold exposures disturb the biological process.The aim of the present study is to investigate the effects of intermittent cold exposure on proteomic profiles in the hypothalamus and pituitary of female Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats.Materials and methods:The rats were exposed to-10°C in a cabin for 4 h per day,and the treatment lasted for 14 days.The comparative label-free LC-MS/MS analysis was performed to investigate the changes of proteomic profiles in the hypothalamus and pituitary.ELISA analysis was used to validate the expression of differential proteins.Results:22 differential proteins in the hypothalamus and 75 differential proteins in the pituitary were identified by the label-free proteomic analysis.Gene ontology annotation and enrichment analysis indicated that cold exposure disrupted protein phosphorylation,filopodium assembly,intracellular protein transport,peripheral nervous system neuron axonogenesis,spinal cord development,Golgi organization,positive regulation of pseudopodium assembly,and cell-cell adhesion.Three proteins(Cdc42,Ptprs,and Setd7)were down-regulated in the cold exposure group.Conclusion:The results indicate that intermittent cold exposure alters the proteomic profiles of hypothalamus and pituitary in female rats.Xiangyu Bian Xi Li Tong Xu Li Zhang Yongqiang Zhang Shuai Wu Renren Yang Weiyun Dong Changjiang Guo Danfeng Yang Weina Gao 2023Frigid Zone Medicine2023,3,2:0
20Distribution, evolution and structural properties of Wushenqi paleo-uplift in Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘This paper depicts the distribution of the Wushenqi paleo-uplift in the Ordos Basin by using the latest drilling and seismic data, and analyzes the tectonic evolution of the paleo-uplift with the support of Bischke curve and balanced section. The compressional Wushenqi paleo-uplift which developed in the Early Caledonian orogeny(Huaiyuan orogeny) is approximately a ellipse extending in S-N direction. Its long axis is about 194 km and short axis is about 55-94 km in nearly W-E direction. The denudation thickness and area of the Cambrian in the core are 170-196 m and 11 298 km^(2), respectively. It was mainly formed during the Huaiyuan orogeny according to the chronostratigraphic framework. It was in the embryonic stage in the Middle-Late Cambrian, denuded after developed obviously at the end of Late Cambrian. The paleo-uplift of the 3rd member of the Ordovician Majiagou Formation was reactivated and reduced in area. In the sedimentary period of the Ma 4 Member-pre-Carboniferous, the paleo-uplift experienced non-uniform uplift and denudation. It entered the stable period of burial and preservation in the Carboniferous and later period. The Wushenqi paleo-uplift was formed on the weak area of the basement and tectonic belts, into an compressional structure with irregular morphology, under the control of the non-coaxial compression in the south and north and the stress transmitted by the uplift in the basin.
