| 2 | Strain-hardening and warm deformation behaviors of extruded Mg-Sn-Yb alloy sheet显示文摘Strain-hardening and warm deformation behaviors of extruded Mg-2Sn-0.5Yb alloy(at.%)sheet were investigated in uniaxial tensile test at temperatures of 25-250 ℃ and strain rates of 1×10^(−3) s^(−1)-0.1 s^(−1).The data fit with the Kocks-Mecking type plots were used to show different stages of strain hardening.Besides III-stage and IV-stage,the absence of the II-stage strain hardening at room temperature should be related to the sufficient dynamic recrystallization during extrusion.The decrease of strain hardening ability of the alloy after yielding was attributed to the reduction of dislocation density with increasing testing temperature.Strain rate sensitivity(SRS)was significantly enhanced with increasing temperature,and the corresponding m-value was calculated as 0.07-0.12,which indicated that the deformation mechanism was dominated by the climb-controlled dislocation creep at 200 ℃.Furthermore,the grain boundary sliding(GBS)was activated at 250 ℃,which contributed to the higher SRS.The activation energy was calculated as 213.67 kJ mol^(−1),which was higher than that of lattice diffusion or grain boundary self-diffusion.In addition,the alloy exhibited a quasi superplasticity at 250 ℃ with a strain rate of 1×10^(−3) s^(−1),which was mainly related to the fine microstructure and the presence of the Mg2Sn and Mg2(Sn,Yb)particles. | Jing Jiang Guangli Bi Guoyong Wang Qing Jiang Jianshe Lian Zhonghao Jiang | 2014 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2014,2,2: | 3 |
| 3 | Bio-oxidation of galena particles by Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans显示文摘This paper deals with the bio-oxidation of galena particles(-80 meshes) using Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and compares it with Fe3+ oxidation.Experimental results show that,at least,0.00197 mol galena was leached from 100 mL pulp(density of 3.8%) with 39 days' bio-oxidation,as compared to 0.00329 mol galena by Fe3+ with 9 days' oxidation.Because Fe3+ was constantly consumed,leaching by Fe3+ almost stopped after 9 days.Large amounts of lead sulfate were detected in both bio-oxidation and Fe3+ oxidation of galena.A.ferrooxidans followed a unique growth pattern during the bio-oxidation of galena.In the initial 15 days,the bacteria attached themselves to the galena surface with the formation of erosion pits similar in shape and length to those of the bacteria,and there were hardly any bacteria suspended in the solution.After 15 days,suspended bacteria increased.It is thus suggested that A.ferrooxidans may directly oxidize galena. | Lei Jiang Huaiyang Zhou Xiaotong Peng Zhonghao Ding | 2008 | Particuology2008,6,2: | 2 |

| 15 | Multifunctional interstitial-carbon-doped FeCoNiCu high entropy alloys with excellent electromagnetic-wave absorption performance显示文摘Electromagnetic-wave absorbing(EMA)materials that have efficient absorption performances,great me-chanical properties and chemical stability are rare and yet essential for communication security and pro-tection.Herein,flaky interstitial-carbon-doped FeCoNiCu high entropy alloys(HEAs)as novel EMA ma-terials were successfully prepared by high-energy ball-milling method.Interstitial-carbon doping as a modulating approach impacted the phase forming,morphology and electromagnetic properties of Fe-CoNiCu HEAs.Impedance matching was significantly optimized via tuning interstitial carbon contents.The carbon-doped FeCoNiCu HEAs with appropriate carbon contents delivered superior EMA performance compared with other HEAs EMA materials.Strong reflection loss as low as-61.1 dB in the Ku band,broad effective absorption bandwidth of 5.1 GHz was achieved for FeCoNiCuC_(0.04).Moreover,the carbon-doped FeCoNiCu HEAs exhibited excellent mechanical hardness and chemical stability.This work not only suggests that interstitial-carbon doping is an available approach to tuning electromagnetic properties of HEAs,but also presents carbon-doped FeCoNiCu HEAs as promising EMA materials for civilian and mili-tary due to the efficient absorption,broad bandwidth,great durability and stability. | Jianping Yang Linwen Jiang Zhonghao Liu Zhuo Tang Anhua Wu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,18: | 1 |
