Sulfur deposition in sour gas reservoirs:laboratory and simulation study显示文摘Sulfur deposition in the formation, induced by a reduction in the solubility of the sulfur in the gas phase, may significantly reduce the in flow performance of sour gas wells and some wells in sour gas reservoirs have even become completely plugged with deposited sulfur within several months.Accurate prediction and effective management of sulfur deposition are crucial to the economic viability of sour gas reservoirs. In this paper,a dynamic flow experiment was carried out to investigate formation damage resulting from sulfur deposition using an improved experimental method. The core sample was extracted from the producing interval of the LG2 well,LG gas field in the Sichuan Basin. The experimental temperature was 26 oC and the initial pressure was 19 MPa.The displacement pressure continuously decreased from 19 to 10 MPa,and the depletion process lasted 15 days. Then the core was removed and dried. The core mass and core permeability were measured before and after experiments.Experimental results indicated that the core mass increased from 48.372 g before experiment to 48.386 g afterwards, while the core permeability reduced from 0.726 to 0.608 md during the experiment. Then the core was analyzed with a scanning electron microscope(SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray mapping. The deposition pattern and micro-distribution of elemental sulfur was observed and the deposited elemental sulfur distributed as a film around the pore surface. In addition,a preliminary three-dimensional,multi-component model was developed to evaluate the effect of sulfur deposition on production performance, and the effect of production rate on sulfur deposition was also investigated.Simulation results indicated that the stable production time would be shortened and the gas production rate would be decreased once sulfur deposited in the formation. The increase in deposited sulfur at high flow rates may be attributed to a bigger pressure drop than that at low gas flow rates.Gas production rate has a severe effect on sulfur saturation in the grid of producing well located in sour gas reservoir. The work suggests sulfur deposition should be considered to correctly predict production performance and gas production rate should be optimized in order to control or retard sulfur deposition during the development of sour gas reservoir. | Xiao Guo Zhimin Du Xuefeng Yang Yong Zhang Dekui Fu | 2009 | Petroleum Science2009,6,4: | 4

Environmental Conditions of Barchan Dune and Barchan Chain-A Case Study from the Hexi Desert Area of Gansu显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to discuss why the top of tall barchan dunes and barchan chains widespread in single prevailing wind area had not been leveled by wind erosion. [Method] Based on the preliminary survey of distribution status, the morphological characteristics and environmental conditions of barchan dunes and barchan chains in Hexi desert area of Gansu were investigated in details. The significance of difference between samples and significance of correlation between indicators were examined via variance test. [Result] Barchan dunes and barchan chains in Hexi desert area of Gansu distributed at the leeward direction of desert fringe, generally in patch distribution. The distribution area was gravelly beach or cohesive gravel beach, with broader dune slack; winds in distribution area of barchan dunes and barchan chains blew obviously from one direction, while winds at other directions were light or occasionally strong but with low frequency;the barchan dune in the desert fringe of Hexi desert area of Gansu was relatively tall, while barchan chain was even more taller and larger. Coincidence or separation of the dune peak and the sand ridge might be related to distribution frequency of dominant prevailing wind or wind at opposite direction and the observation seasons.[Conclusion]Studying top stability of barchan dune has an important academic value in revealing blowing sand movement rule at desert fringe, invasion of sand flow, and expansion of desert. | Chang Zhaofeng Wang Qiangqiang Zhang Jianhui Xi Junqiang Wang Qi Zhang Dekui Tang Jinnian Zhang Huiwen | 2015 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2015,7,6: | 2

Comparisons between Movement Speed of Main Types of Dunes:A Case Study of Desert Areas in Hexi Region of Gansu Province显示文摘In desert areas in Hexi region,11 barchan dunes,6 chains of barchan dunes,6 pyramid dunes,6 parabolic dunes and 6 accumulated sand-belts were chosen to study their movement speed based on images obtained by Google Earth in various periods. The results show that among the dunes, the movement of the barchan dunes was the fastest, followed by the chains of barchan dunes, and only the tops of the pyramid dunes swayed, while the parabolic dunes and accumulated sand-belts hardly moved forward. The higher the barchan dunes(or the chains of barchan dunes) were, the slower the movement was.On the contrary, the higher the pyramid dunes were, the faster the swing was. There was a positive correlation between the movement speed of the barchan dunes and the average wind speed of sandstorms. | CHANG Zhaofeng ZHU Shujuan SHI Xuegang ZHANG Jinhu LI Ya WANG Qi ZHANG Dekui DUAN Xiaofeng | 2016 | Journal of Landscape Research2016,8,6: | 2
DDR1 promotes LoVo cell proliferation by regulating energy metabolism显示文摘Cellular energy metabolism dysregulation is associated with colorectal cancer(CRC)development and progression.Discoidin domain receptor 1a(DDR1a),one of the five DDR1 isoforms,is closely related to cell proliferation, invasion, and apoptosis in various tumors.Whether it participates in cellular metabolic reprogramming and regulates CRC initiation and progression remains unclear. In this study,we compared the expression of DDR1 in CRC tissues and adjacent tissues from 126 postoperative CRC samples.Moreover,lentivirus-mediated DDR1a overexpression and knockdown were performed in LoVo cells, and cell viability and proliferation were determined by CCK-8 and BrdU assays, respectively.Oxygen consumption rate, extracellular acidification rate, and lactate production were used to determine the effect of DDR1a on metabolic reprogramming.Clinically,CRC patients with high DDR1 expression had poor differentiation and were at an advanced TNM stage.DDR1a promoted LoVo cell proliferation, mitochondrial function, and extracellular acidification.Moreover,DDR1a knockdown inhibited intracellular lactic acid production in LoVo cells, while a pyruvate kinase inhibitor(diamide,200μM)significantly reversed this progression.Taken together, our results reveal that DDR1 plays a crucial role in maintaining intracellular environment homeostasis through metabolic reprogramming. | Bin Xiong Zehui Xie Feixue Song Huiling Chen Xiaojuan Wang Zhengxu Jin Tiyun Han Yi Li Dekui Zhang | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,5: | 1
Electronic tattoos based on large-area Mo2C grown by chemical vapor deposition for electrophysiology显示文摘Tattoo electronics has attracted intensive interest in recent years due to its comfortable wearing and imperceivable sensing, and has been broadly applied in wearable healthcare and human-machine interface. However, the tattoo electrodes are mostly composed of metal films and conductive polymers.Two-dimensional(2D)materials,which are superior in conductivity and stability, are barely studied for electronic tattoos.Herein,we reported a novel electronic tattoo based on large-area Mo_(2)C film grown by chemical vapor deposition(CVD),and applied it to accurately and imperceivably acquire on-body electrophysiological signals and interface with robotics.High-quality Mo_(2)C film was obtained via optimizing the distribution of gas flow during CVD growth.According to the finite element simulation(FES),bottom surface of Cu foil covers more stable gas flow than the top surface, thus leading to more uniform Mo_(2)C film. The resulting Mo_(2)C film was transferred onto tattoo paper, showing a total thickness of~3μm,sheet resistance of 60-150Ω/sq,and skin-electrode impedance of~5×10^(5)Ω.Such thin Mo_(2)C electronic tattoo(MCET in short)can form conformal contact with skin and accurately record electrophysiological signals, including electromyography(EMG),electrocardiogram(ECG),and electrooculogram(EOG).These body signals collected by MCET can not only reflect the health status but also be transformed to control the robotics for human-machine interface. | Shiyu Wang Xin Wang Weifeng Zhang Xiaohu Shi Dekui Song Yan Zhang Yan Zhao Zihan Zhao Nan Liu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,3: | 1

Temperature Regulation Effect of Desert Vegetation in Minqin Desert Area显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the effects of desert vegetation on temperature regulation and stabilization in desert area. [Method] The survey data of quadrats in five kinds of plant communities in Minqin desert area were preliminarily estimated. [Result] Desert vegetation had the ecological functions of regulating desert temperature and stabilizing sharp increase of temperature, especially the irreplaceable ecological function of slowing down sandstorm each spring in northwest China compared to physical sand-fixation measures. The air humidity in forest region was relatively large, and the climate was more stable. The climate in desert area was dry, with intense changes in air temperature. Although the solar radiation utilization rate of desert vegetation per unit area in Minqin oasis fringe was 5. 8% of that of 100% coverage vegetation,it had non-ignorable significance in regulating temperature of local desert. Regulating temperature was one of the ecological functions of desert vegetation. Previous studies only considered wind proof and sand-fixation functions of desert vegetation, but ignored its temperature regulation effect, and this was the ecological function of vegetation sand control different from physical sand-fixation measures such as sand barrier. [Conclusion]It has important theoretical guiding significance and practical use value for prevention and control of desertification by studying ecological function of desert plants/vegetation. | Chang Zhaofeng Zhang Xiaojuan Wang Qi Zhang Dekui Duan Xiaofeng Shi Xuegang | 2016 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2016,8,6: | 0
Particle Size of Barchan Dune in Hexi Desert Area and Its Relationship with Wind Speed显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the particle size characteristics of barchan dune and its formation mechanism in Hexi desert area of Gansu. [Method] Through particle size measurement and wind speed flow field observation of dune, the particle size differences of various sampling plots and various parts of dune were analyzed using analysis of variance, and the relationship between particle size and wind speed was analyzed using correlation coefficient method. [Result]( 1) Barchan dune and barchan chains in Hexi desert area of Gansu were mainly consisted of fine sands and medium sands at the depth of 0- 5 cm: the sand particle in Gulang desert area was fine, which had significant difference with that in Jinchang,Linze,Jinta and Minqin desert areas.( 2) Medium sands gradually increased from the bottom of windward slope to the dune peak in both barchan dune and barchan chain. On the windward slope of barchan dune, fine sands gradually increased from the middle to both sides, while coarse sands and medium sands gradually decreased. On the windward slope of barchan chain, fine sands first decreased then increased from the middle to NE side, but first increased then decreased from the middle to SW side.( 3) In terms of particle size, there were great variations between fine sands and coarse sands; for dune parts, there were great variations between dune peak and leeward slope toe; for dune types, the variation of fine sands in various parts of barchan chain was greater than that of barchan dune, while differentiation degree of medium sands and fine sands was greater than that of barchan dune. The particle size of fine sands was positively correlated with wind speed, and that of medium sands was negatively correlated with wind speed.[Conclusion]The formation environment of particle size of barchan dune mainly included sand source and dynamic source, and wind speed was the dynamic source for particle size distribution of barchan dune. | Chang Zhaofeng Han Shenghui Tang Jinnian Wang Qi Zhang Dekui Zhang Jianhui Wang Qiangqiang | 2016 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2016,8,4: | 0
Enhanced Natural Convection for Accelerating Melting of Phase Change Material in Cellular Structure through Inserting Fin显示文摘The design of thermal conductivity enhancers(TCE) is quite critical to overcoming the disadvantage of the poor thermal conductivity of phase change materials(PCM).The main contribution of this study is firstly to discuss how to actively enhance natural convection of the melted PCM in cellular structure by the fin formed in the structure under the condition of the same metal mass, apart from simultaneously improving heat conduction, which can boost the heat transfer performance. Also,a tailored hybrid fin-lattice structure(HFS) as TCE is designed and fabricated by additive manufacturing(AM).A two-equation numerical method is applied to study the heat transfer of the PCM,and its feasibility is validated with the experimental data. The numerical results indicate that enhanced natural convection and improved heat conduction can be obtained simultaneously when a well-designed fin is embedded into a lattice structure. The enhanced natural convection results in the improved melting rate and the decreased wall temperature;e.g.,the complete melting time and the wall temperature are reduced by 11.6% and 19.7%,respectively,because of the fin for metal aluminum. Moreover, the parameters of HFS including the porosity, pore density, and fin dimension have a great impact on the heat transfer. The enhancement effect of the fin for HFS on the melting rate of the PCM increases as the thermal conductivity of the base material decreases. For example, when the fin is introduced into the lattice structure, the complete melting time is reduced by 24.1% for metal titanium. In summary, this study enables us to obtain a good understanding of the mechanism of the heat transfer and provides necessary experimental data for the structural design of HFS fabricated by AM. | KONG Dekui ZHANG Yongcun LIU Shutian | 2024 | Journal of Thermal Science2024,33,2: | 0

Two Alternating Processes of Particle Size Distribution of Barchan Dunes at the Edge of the Oasis in Hexi Corridor, Gansu显示文摘Barchan dunes are a common type of dune. There are a lot of barchan dunes at accumulated sand-belts of the oasis edge of Hexi desert area of Gansu. What is characteristic of the particle size of barchan dunes? How is this particle size characteristic formed? Characteristics of particle size were analyzed in this paper by comprehensive investigation and sampling in Hexi Corridor desert area, and repeated sampling and determination in Minqin desert area. The results showed that:(1) The particle size of 0.25–0.05 mm and particle size of 0.5–0.25 mm were the main ingredients at the surface 0–5 cm depth of barchan dunes and barchan dune chains in desert area in Hexi Corridor of Gansu. Sand in Gulang desert area was relatively finer and the particle size was quite different from that of Jinchang, Linze, Jinta and Minqin desert area;(2) The particle size was changed from coarse to fine from the bottom to the top of the dunes in the main wind direction(NW) process. i.e. there was the most silt at the top of the dunes, followed by the middle of the leeward slope. The bottom of the windward slope had the most coarse sand, followed by the middle of the windward slope. The barchan dunes were changed from coarse to fine, then from fine to coarse from the bottom to the top of the dunes in the reverse wind direction(SE) process, i.e. there was the most silt in the middle of the windward slope, followed by the top of sand dunes. The bottom of the windward slope had the most coarse sand, followed by the middle of the windward slope. The standard deviation and coefficient of variation of sand dune particle size in the main wind direction process was larger, and the standard deviation and coefficient of variation of sand dune particle size in the reverse wind direction process was smaller;(3) The two processes of the main wind direction(NW) and the reverse wind direction(SE) led to alternating changes in particle size in various parts of the dunes. Two different conclusions on particle size distribution of barchan dunes in windward slope were due to the observation season differences. | CHANG Zhaofeng ZHU Shujuan Duan Xiaofeng ZHANG Jianhui WANG Qi ZHANG Dekui | 2019 | Journal of Landscape Research2019,11,6: | 0
