1Tectonic Taphrogenesis and Paleoseismic Records from the Yishu Fault Zone in the Initial Stage of the Caledonian Movement显示文摘The Yishu fault zone (mid-segment of the Tanlu fault zone) was formed in the Presinian. Periodic tectonic activities and strong seismic events have occurred along the fault zone. During the initial stage of the Caledonian Movement, with the proceeding of the marine transgression from the Yishu paleo-channel to the western Shandong, uneven thick sediments, composed mainly of sand, mud and carbonates of littoral, lagoon, and neritic facies, were deposited in the Yishu fault zone and western Shandong, and constructed the bottom part of the Lower Cambrian consisting of the Liguan and Zhushadong formations. Through field observations and the lab-examinations, various paleoseismic records have been discovered in the Liguan Formation and the Zhushadong Formations of the Yishu fault zone and its vicinity, including some layers with syn-sedimentary deformation structures that were triggered by strong earthquakes (i.e. seismite, seismo-olistostrome, and seismo-turbidite). Paleoseismic records developed in the Zhushadong Formation are mainly seismites with soft-sediment deformation structures, such as liquefied diapir, small liquefied-carbonate lime-mud volcano, liquefied vein, liquefied breccia, convolute deformation (seismic fold), graded fault, soft siliceous vein, and deformation stromatolite, as well as seismites with brittle deformation structures of semiconsolidated sediments. Paleoseismic records preserved in the Liguan Formation are not only seismo-olistostrome with a slump fold, load structure, and ball-and-pillows, but also seismo-turbidite with convolution bedding, graded bedding and wavy-bedding. However, in the western Shandong area, the closer to the Yishu fault zone, the greater the thickness of the Liguan Formation and the Zhushadong Formation, the greater the number and type of layers with paleoseismic records, and the higher the earthquake intensity reflected by associations of seismic records. 2Neogene Paleoseismic Events and the Shanwang Biota's Burial in the Linqu Area,Shandong Province,China显示文摘Several paleoseismic events are recorded in the Neogene Linqu Group, exposed in the Linqu area, Shandong Province, China. The events were interpreted on the basis of fieldwork and laboratory analysis, which showed the presence of seismites with plastically deformed soft-sediment deformation structures in the Shanwang Formation, and of seismic volcanic rocks in the Yaoshan Formation which show brittle deformation. The earthquake-triggered soft-sediment deformations in the seismites include load structures, ball-and-pillow structures, flame structures, pillow-like beds, boudinage structures, slump folds, syn-depositional faults, veins of liquefied sand, and dikes of liquefied sandy lime-mud. The seismic activity is also reflected in what might be called ‘brittle seismites'; these originated when, under the influence of seismic vibrations, semi-consolidated conglomerate was shattered. Moreover, volcanic activity is related to intense earthquakes that affected basalts intercalated with sand layers; these successions are known as ‘seismic volcanic rocks', which are characterized by veins of liquefied sand intruding the basalts. All above traces of paleoseismic activity were left from one single time span of 4 Ma with active seismicity that took place 14–10 Ma. This time span is known as ‘the Linqu Neogene Paleoseismic Active Period', which is divided into four paleoseismic episodes, which were responses to tectonic extension and basin rifting in this area. It even includes the activity of the Yishu Fault Zone during the Miocene and the Neogene. The ratios of trace elements in the seismites, w(La)/w(Sc) and w(La)/w(Th) are higher than the average value of the upper crust, but w(Th)/w(Sc) is lower; this is geochemical evidence for the basin rifting that resulted in a high sedimentation rate. The intense and frequent paleo-earthquakes are held responsible for the rapid burial of the Shanwang Biota. 3Polymer electrolytes for Li-S batteries:Polymeric fundamentals and performance optimization显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries have been considered as one of the most promising candidates to traditional lithium ion batteries due to its low cost,high theoretical specific capacity(1675 mAh g^(-1)) and energy density(2600 Wh kg^(-1)) of sulfur.Compared with traditional liquid electrolytes,polymer electrolytes(PEs) are ever-increasingly preferred due to their higher safety,superior compatibility,long cycling stability and so on.Despite some progresses on PEs,however,there remain lots of hurdles to be addressed prior to commercial applications.This review begins with native advantages for PEs to replace LEs,and then proposes the ideal requirements for PEs.Furthermore,a brief development history of typical PEs for Li-S batteries is presented to systematically summarize the recent achievements in Li-S batteries with PEs.Noted that the structure-performance relationships of polymer matrixes for PEs are highlighted.Finally,the challenges and opportunities on the future development of PEs are presented.We hold the view that composite polymer electrolytes in virtue of the high ionic conductivity and the compatible interfacial property will be promising solution for high performance Li-S batteries.Meifang Jiang Zengqi Zhang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Hantao Xu Huanri Zhang Xiaolan Lu Guanglei Cui 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:3
4Mechanical,expansion and rheological properties of circulating fluidized bed fly ash based ecological cement:A critical review显示文摘Circulating fluidized bed fly ash(CFBFA)is a solid waste product from circulating fluidized bed(CFB)boilers in power plants,and the storage of CFBFA is increasingly become an environmental problem.Previous scholars have made contributions to improve the resource utilization of CFBFA.Especially,ecological cement is prepared by CFBFA,which is more conducive to its large-scale utilization.In recent years,a lot of effort has been paid to improve the properties of ecological cement containing CFBFA.In this work,the physicochemical properties of CFBFA are introduced,and recent research progress on the mechanical,expansion,and rheological properties of CFBFA based ecological cement(CEC)is extensively reviewed.The problem of over-expansion of f-CaO is summarized,which limits the scale application of CFBFA in ecological cement.Hence,the challenge for f-CaO in CFBFA to compensate for cement volume shrinkage is proposed,which is beneficial to the utilization of CFBFA in ecological cement,and the reduction of CO_(2) emissions from the cement industry.In addition,the environmental performance,durability,and economy of CEC should be valued in future research,especially the environmental performance,because the CFBFA contains heavy metals,such as Cr,As,which may pollute groundwater.Wei Zhang Xiaoming Liu Zengqi Zhang 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,9:3
5Depositional Environments of the Upper Permian Quartzose Sandstone(Shandong Province, North China): Insight from Trace Element Geochemistry显示文摘The depositional environment of the Upper Permian quartzose sandstone(Kuishan sandstone in Shihezi Formation of Upper Permian) in the North China epicontinental basin is controversial. In order to test the previous hypotheses, we analyzed sedimentological characteristics of the Kuishan sandstones in outcrops and boreholes, and carried out trace element geochemical analysis by electron probe microanalyzer. Three lithofacies were recognized, including normal-graded conglomerate(Cng), trough and planar cross-bedded coarse sandstone(CStpc), and planar cross-bedded medium sandstone(MSpc). Normal-graded conglomerate(Cng) formed in the meandering river or deltaic distributary channels. Trough and planar cross-bedded coarse sandstone(CStpc) formed in meandering river or distributary channels of near-source deltaic plain. Planar cross-bedded medium sandstone(MSpc) formed in the siliciclastic beach with high- to moderate-energy conditions. By the petrology and trace elements analysis, three relatively large-scale transgressions were revealed. Each transgression was reflected by the lower content of Ba and ratios of Fe/Mn, and the high content of B and ratios of B/Ga. 9A non-wetting and conductive polyethylene dioxothiophene hole transport layer for scalable and flexible perovskite solar cells显示文摘The regulated crystallization of perovskite and highly repeatable preparation are decisive challenges for large-scale flexible perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,we synthesize an oil-soluble poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(Oil-PEDOT)as a hole transport layer(HTL).The non-wetting Oil-PEDOT HTL can promote the quality of large-area flexible perovskite films because of its optimized crystallinity and printability.The Oil-PEDOT layer also delivers desirable conductivity and charge transport without a complex doping.Consequently,the flexible PSCs with Oil-PEDOT HTL achieve an efficiency of 19.51%and 16.70%based on 1.05 and 22.50 cm^(2),respectively.Moreover,these large-scale flexible PSCs demonstrate remarkable mechanical robustness,and the efficiency exhibits 93%retention after 7,000 bending cycles.These results show that the Oil-PEDOT is a potentially efficient HTL for fabricating efficient large-scale flexible PSCs.Chenxiang Gong Lin Zhang Xiangchuan Meng Zhi Xing Li Rao Hongyu Wang Zengqi Huang Licheng Tan Ting Hu Xiaotian Hu Yiwang Chen 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,5:1

15A shape memory scaffold for body temperature self-repairing wearable perovskite solar cells with efficiency exceeding 21%显示文摘Grain boundary cracks in flexible perovskite films can be repaired by filling with self-repairing polymers during the preparation and wearable operation.However,the self-repairing polymers are commonly active through external heating or humidification treatments,which cannot match with the human body's temperature tolerance of wearable devices.Herein,a body temperature-responsive shape memory polyurethane(SMPU)is demonstrated to achieve the real-time mechanical self-repairing of grain boundary cracks(~37°C).Furthermore,the strong intermolecular interaction between SMPU and the uncoordinated Pb2+and I−,can reduce the trap density in perovskite films.The blade-coated device achieves a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 21.33%,which is among the best reported flexible perovskite solar cells(PSCs;0.10 cm2).Importantly,the device with SMPU can recover more than 80%of the PCE after 6000 cycles(bending radius:8 mm).Finally,the flexible PSCs are used for wearable solar power supply of a smartphone,which show great potential for self-repairing wearable electronics.Tangyue Xue Zengqi Huang Pei Zhang Meng Su Xiaotian Hu Tingqing Wu Baojin Fan Gangshu Chen Guanghui Yu Wentao Liu Xuying Liu Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song 2022InfoMat2022,4,12:1
16Interfacial stress characterization of GaN epitaxial layer with sapphire substrate by confocal Raman spectroscopy显示文摘As an important wide-bandgap semiconductor,gallium nitride(GaN)has attracted considerable attention.This paper describes the use of confocal Raman spectroscopy to characterize undoped GaN,n-type GaN,and p-type GaN through depth profiling using 405-,532-,and 638-nm wavelength lasers.The Raman signal intensity of the sapphire substrate at different focal depths is studied to analyze the depth resolution.Based on the shift of the E2 H mode of the GaN epitaxial layer,the interfacial stress for different types of GaN is characterized and calculated.The results show that the maximum interfacial stress appears approximately at the junction of the GaN and the sapphire substrate.Local interfacial stress analysis between the GaN epitaxial layer and the substrate will be very helpful in furthering the applications of GaN devices.Zengqi Zhang Zongwei Xu Ying Song Tao Liu Bing Dong Jiayu Liu Hong Wang 2021Nanotechnology and Precision Engineering2021,4,2:1
17Optimization on transport of charge carriers in cathode of sulfide electrolyte-based solid-state lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are considered as promising candidates for novel energy storage technology that achieves energy density of 500 Wh·kg^(−1).However,poor cycle stability resulting from notorious shuttle effect and the safety concerns deriving from flammability of ether-based electrolyte hinder the practical application of Li-S batteries.Because of low solubility to polysulfide,high ionic conductivity,and safety property,sulfide-based electrolytes can fundamentally address above issues.It is widely known that the effective transports of both electrons and ions are basic requirement for redox reaction of active materials in cathode.Thereby,construction of fast and stable ionic and electronic transport paths in cathode is especially pivotal for cycle stability of solid-state Li-S batteries(SSLSBs).In this review,we provide research progresses on facilitating transport of charge carriers in composite cathode of SSLSBs.From perspective of materials,intrinsically conductivity of electrolyte and carbon shows dramatic effect on migration of charge carriers in cathode of SSLSBs,thereby the conductive additives are summarized in the manuscript.Additionally,the charge transport in cathode of SSLSBs fully depends on the physical contact between active materials and conductive additives,therefore we summarized the strategies optimizing interfacial contact and reducing interfacial resistance.Finally,potential future research directions and prospects for SSLSBs with improved energy density and cycle performance are also proposed.Zengqi Zhang Yantao Wang Tao Liu Gang Li Jun Ma Jianjun Zhang Pengxian Han Shanmu Dong Xuedong Yan Yue Tang Guanglei Cui 2023Nano Research2023,16,6:0
18Preparation and electronic characteristics of anionic perylene bisimide films显示文摘Neutral perylene bisimides(PBI) are well-known n-type organic semiconductors, with number of challenging electronic properties in their neutral and reduced states. We report the characteristic electronic properties of PBI anionic films. We unexpectedly discovered that pristine PBI dianion film showed p-type character, while oxidized dianion film(dominant neutral state with few radical anions) showed normal n-type semiconductor character based on Seebeck effect measurements. Both kinds of films exhibit high electrical conductivity with a potential for thermoelectric applications.
