1Convolutional Neural Networks Based Indoor Wi-Fi Localization with a Novel Kind of CSI Images显示文摘Indoor Wi-Fi localization of mobile devices plays a more and more important role along with the rapid growth of location-based services and Wi-Fi mobile devices.In this paper,a new method of constructing the channel state information(CSI)image is proposed to improve the localization accuracy.Compared with previous methods of constructing the CSI image,the new kind of CSI image proposed is able to contain more channel information such as the angle of arrival(AoA),the time of arrival(TOA)and the amplitude.We construct three gray images by using phase differences of different antennas and amplitudes of different subcarriers of one antenna,and then merge them to form one RGB image.The localization method has off-line stage and on-line stage.In the off-line stage,the composed three-channel RGB images at training locations are used to train a convolutional neural network(CNN)which has been proved to be efficient in image recognition.In the on-line stage,images at test locations are fed to the well-trained CNN model and the localization result is the weighted mean value with highest output values.The performance of the proposed method is verified with extensive experiments in the representative indoor environment.Haihan Li Xiangsheng Zeng Yunzhou Li Shidong Zhou Jing Wang 2019China Communications2019,16,9:7
2Energy-Efficient Resource Allocation for Small-Cell Networks:A Stable Queue Perspective显示文摘The small-cell technology is promising for spectral-efficiency enhancement. However, it usually requires a huge amount of energy consumption. In this paper, queue state information and channel state information are jointly utilized to minimize the time average of overall energy consumption for a multi-carrier small-cell network, where the inter-cell interference is an intractable problem. Based on the Lyapunov optimization theory, the problem could be solved by dynamically optimizing the problem of user assignment, carrier allocation and power allocation in each time slot. As the optimization problem is NP-hard, we propose a heuristic iteration algorithm to solve it. Numerical results verify that the heuristic algorithm offers an approximate performance as the brute-force algorithm. Moreover, it could bring down the overall energy consumption to different degrees according to the variation of traffic load. 4Wireless channel feature extraction via GMM and CNN in the tomographic channel model显示文摘Wireless channel modeling has always been one of the most fundamental highlights of the wireless communication research.The performance of new advanced models and technologies heavily depends on the accuracy of the wireless CSI(Channel State Information).This study examined the randomness of the wireless channel parameters based on the characteristics of the radio propagation environment.The diversity of the statistical properties of wireless channel parameters inspired us to introduce the concept of the tomographic channel model.With this model,the static part of the CSI can be extracted from the huge amount of existing CSI data of previous measurements,which can be de ned as the wireless channel feature.In the proposed scheme for obtaining CSI with the tomographic channel model,the GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model)is applied to acquire the distribution of the wireless channel parameters,and the CNN(Convolutional Neural Network)is applied to automatically distinguish di erent wireless channels.The wireless channel feature information can be stored oine to guide the design of pilot symbols and save pilot resources.The numerical results based on actual measurements demonstrated the clear diversity of the statistical properties of wireless channel parameters and that the proposed scheme can extract the wireless channel feature automatically with fewer pilot resources.Thus,computing and storage resources can be exchanged for the nite and precious spectrum resource.Haihan Li Yunzhou Li Shidong Zhou Jing Wang 2017Journal of Communications and Information Networks2017,2,1:6
5A Learning-Based Channel Model for Synergetic Transmission Technology显示文摘It is extensively approved that Channel State Information(CSI) plays an important role for synergetic transmission and interference management. However, pilot overhead to obtain CSI with enough precision is a significant issue for wireless communication networks with massive antennas and ultra-dense cell. This paper proposes a learning- based channel model, which can estimate, refine, and manage CSI for a synergetic transmission system. It decomposes the channel impulse response into multiple paths, and uses a learning-based algorithm to estimate paths' parameters without notable degradation caused by sparse pilots. 6Distributed antenna wireless communication system coverage design and field trial over higher frequency band显示文摘This paper aims to examine the architecture design of a distributed antenna based Gbps wireless communication system using the high frequency band.In order to analyze the feasibility of the higher frequency band applications,the cumulative distribution of simulated user throughput in a cellular is investigated firstly.It shows that capacity improvement can be obtained using higher operating frequency band,especially in hotspot scenarios.Secondly,the architecture of the distributed antenna system(DAS) is introduced to overcome the disadvantages of weak coverage and rank deficient for the traditional multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems using higher frequency bands in line-of-sight(LOS)environments.In addition,a software-defined-radio(SDR) based Gbps wireless transmission system with scalable hardware architecture is designed and implemented.Finally,a demo of outdoor DAS coverage for high data throughput application is given.Field trials show that 1 Gbps data rate and a large coverage in outdoor environments can be achieved over 6.05 GHz.It is proved that the Gbps DAS system at a higher frequency band can be a successful model for future wireless broadband coverage in hotspot scenarios.Xu Zhan Liu Jienan Zhou Shidong Chen Xiang Wang Wenqi 2016仪器仪表学报2016,37,S1:4
7Pilot Domain NOMA for Grant-Free Massive Random Access in Massive MIMO Marine Communication System显示文摘We propose a pilot domain non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)for uplink massive devices grant-free random access scenarios in massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)maritime communication systems.These scenarios are characterized by numerous devices with sporadic access behavior,and therefore only a subset of them are active.Due to massive potential devices in the network,it is infeasible to assign a unique orthogonal pilot to each device in advance.In such scenarios,pilot decontamination is a crucial problem.In this paper,the devices are randomly assigned non-orthogonal pilots which are constructed by a linear combination of some orthogonal pilots.We show that a bipartite graph can conveniently describe the interference cancellation(IC)processes of pilot decontamination.High spectrum efficiency(SE)and low outage probability can be obtained by selecting the numbers of orthogonal pilots according to the given probability distribution.Numerical evaluatioDs show that the proposed pilot domain NOMA decreases the outage probability from 20%to 2 e-12 at the SE of 4 bits/s/Hz for a single device,compared to the conventional method of slotted ALOHA with 1024 antennas at the BS,or increases the spectrum efficiency from 1.2 bits/s/Hz to 4 bit/s/Hz at the outage probability of2 e-12 in contrast with the Welch bound equality(WBE)non-orthogonal pilots.Yongxin Liu Ming Zhao Limin Xiao Shidong Zhou 2020China Communications2020,17,6:3

11Passive shock wave/boundary layer control of wing at transonic speeds显示文摘At supercritical conditions a porous strip(or slot strip) placed beneath a shock wave can reduce the drag by a weaker lambda shock system, and increase the buffet boundary, even may increase the lift. Passive shock wave/boundary layer control(PSBC) for drag reduction was conducted by SC(2)-0714 supercritical wing, with emphases on parameter of porous/slot and bump, such as porous distribution, hole diameter,cavity depth, porous direction and so on. A sequential quadratic programming(SQP) optimization method coupled with adjoint method was adopted to achieve the optimized shape and position of the bumps.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD), force test and oil test with half model all indicate that PSBC with porous, slot and bump generally reduce the drag by weaker lambda shock at supercritical conditions.According to wind tunnel test results for angle of attack of 2? at Mach number M = 0.8, the porous configuration with 6.21% porosity results in a drag reduction of 0.0002 and lift–drag ratio increase of 0.2, the small bump configuration results in a drag reduction of 0.0007 and lift–drag ratio increase of 0.3.Bump normally reduce drag at design point with shock wave position being accurately computed. 16Energy Efficiency Analysis of Cellular Networks with Cooperative Relays via Stochastic Geometry显示文摘Cooperative relaying is a promising technology that can improve the spectral and energy efficiency of cellular networks. However, the deployed relays consume a lot of energy and system resources. To improve the energy efficiency of the relay-assisted cellular networks, this paper considers the use of energy harvesting(EH) on relay nodes. A random sleeping strategy is also introduced in macro base stations(MBS) as a possible method to reduce energy consumption. In this paper, an analytical model is proposed to investigate the energy efficiency of cellular networks with EH relays and sleep mode strategy. Numerical results confirm a significant energy efficiency gain of the proposed networks comparing to the cellular networks with non-EH relays and MBSs without sleep mode strategy. 20Sectorization based pilot reuse for improving net spectral efficiency in the multicell massive MIMO system显示文摘A sectorization method using the uniform circular array(UCA) is proposed to improve the net spectral efficiency(SE) of the multicell massive MIMO system, which is an important index for evaluating the performance of a communication system. We derive the ergodic achievable uplink net SE per cell of a general sectorized system and obtain its deterministic approximation based on the large random matrix theory.Different weight matrices are considered for the sectorized system and the one with the best performance is utilized for further analysis. The consistency of the deterministic approximation with the result of Monte-Carlo simulation is proved at the same time. At last, numerical results indicate that the net SE per cell can be greatly improved compared to the conventional multicell massive MIMO system, which validates the effectiveness of the sectorization method.
