1COMPUTER MODEL OF COPPER SMELTING PROCESS AND DISTRIBUTION BEHAVIORS OF ACCESSORY ELEMENTS显示文摘A computer model has been developed to simulate the distribution behaviors of Ni, Co. Sn. Ph,Zn, As, Sb, Bi, An and Ag in copper smelting process. The model assumes that the copper smelting furnaceis in thermodynamic equilibrium. As many as 21 elements (Cu. S, Fe. Ni, Co. Sn, As, Sb. Bi, Ph. Zn.An. Ag. O, N, C, H, Ca, Mg, Al, and St) and 73 compounds are considered. This model accounts forphysical entrainment in the melts. The predictions by the present computer model are compared with theknown commercial data from Guixi Smelter in China, Home Smelter in Canada and Naoshima Smelter inJapan. The agreements between the computer predictions and the commercial data are excellent, so that thepresent computer model can be used to monitor and optimize the actual industrial operations of copper smelting. 2SELECTIVE DISSOLUTION OF GOLD IN AN ALKALINETHIOUREA SOLUTION BY ELECTROLYSIS显示文摘Anodic polarization behavior of gold, silver, copper, nickel and iron in potentiostatic condition has been examined in an alkaline aqueous thiourea solution, where gold is hardly dissoluble normally. The addition of Na2SO3 into the solution can accelerate anodic dissolution of gold. The factors affecting selective dissolution of gold in the alkaline thiourea solution by electrolysis have been studied, and the optimum condition was obtained. 3Altered Resting-State Signals in Patients with Acute Stroke In or Under the Thalamus显示文摘Previous studies have suggested that cortical functional reorganization is associated with motor recovery after stroke and that normal afferent sensory information is very important in that process.In this study,we selected patients who had a stroke in or under the thalamus,with potentially impaired afferent sensory information and analyzed the differences between these patients and healthy controls at three levels:brain regions,the functional connectivity between brain areas,and the whole-brain functional network.Compared with healthy controls,regional homogeneities in the left middle temporal gyrus decreased and functional connectivity between the left middle temporal gyrus and the stroke area increased in the patients.However,there was no significant change in the wholebrain functional network.By focusing on stroke located in or under the thalamus,our study contributes to wider inquiries into understanding and treating stroke.Lijun Chen Chuanfu Li Jian Zhai Anqin Wang Qin Song Ying Liu Ru Ma Long Han Yamikani Ndasaukas Xiaoming Li Hai Li Xiaochu Zhang 2016Neuroscience Bulletin2016,32,6:6
4Modeling the impact of the viaduct on particles dispersion from vehicle exhaust in street canyons显示文摘In this paper,the impact of the viaduct on flow and traffic exhausting particles dispersion within urban street canyons was nu-merically simulated using a computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model.Two-dimensional flow and dispersion of particles from traffic exhausts were modeled using the standard k-? turbulence model.The street canyons with a viaduct at different widths and different heights above the ground are simulated.The results show that the airflow in street canyon is evidently in-fluenced by the viaduct:The position of the main vortex center is changed,especially there are two strong vortexes when the viaduct is placed at 10 m height above the ground.It is found based on the study of the particles number concentrations(PNCs) that the viaduct may mitigate the pollution level in the street canyon sometimes.The impact of the viaduct width on PNCs is stronger than that of the height.The study of PNDs reveals that the mean PNCs at the wall of upwind building increase when a viaduct is placed in street canyon.In addition,it is found based on the study of mean particles residence time(PRT) that the removal of the particles strongly correlates to the mean PNCs.The results indicate that the viaduct is an important factor to in-fluence the flow patterns and particles dispersion in street canyons.ZHANG ChuanFu WEN Mou ZENG JianRong ZHANG GuiLin FANG HaiPing LI Yan 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,1:5

6Research on Thermal Deep-drawing Technology of Magnesium Alloy (AZ31B) Sheets显示文摘Forming technology of Mg alloy (AZ31B) sheets can be investigated by thermal deep drawing experiments. In the experiments,the blank holder and die contacting with the blank were heated to the same temperature as the blank by using the heating facility. The circular blank heated in an oven is formed at a temperature range of 100~400℃ to obtain the optimum forming temperature range and the effects of major technical parameters on the workpiece quality. It is found that the blank is brittle at temperatures lower than 200℃. Temperatures higher than 400℃ are not suitable for forming of the sheets because of severe oxidation and wrinkling. AZ31B shows an excellent formability at temperatures from 300 to 350℃ and can be formed into a workpiece with good quality. When the blank holder force is 99 Kn, extruded sheets with a thickness of 1 mm can be formed into cups without wrinkling. 11Multiphysics Field Co-simulation Research Based on Electric Drive System for a Specific Type of Car显示文摘Electric drive systems for new energy cars are complex systems that should have multivariate,strong coupling,and non-linear characteristics and should also involve the multiphysics field.The singular simulation software used at present in the modeling of electric drive systems cannot simulate the influences of all the physics fields on the operating system.The co-simulation model used in this paper was based on a specific type of car.The motor control algorithm model was built in MATLAB/Simulink,the electromagnetic finite element model of the motor was built in ANSYS EM-Maxwell,and the motor controller hardware circuit was built in ANSYS EM-Simplorer.To make real-time connections among these software platforms,a multi-software co-simulation platform was built,and the co-simulation platform’s simulation results were input into STAR CCM+software to enable finite element modeling of the motor and running of thermal analysis.When compared with the electric drive system model built using single Simulink software,the simulation results from this co-simulation platform were more realistic and were shown to be closer to reality when the dynamic characteristics of the electric drive system’s power semiconductor switching devices and the motor’s electromagnetic characteristics were considered.Finally,by benchmarking the multiphysics field co-simulation platform simulation results using dyno bench test results,the validity of the co-simulation platform was verified and the development of the multiphysics field co-simulation of the basic electric drive system was complete.Chuanfu Wang Yubo Lian Heping Ling Hua Pan Yuxin Zhang 2019Automotive Innovation2019,2,3:1

17THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF NICKEL SMELTING PROCESS显示文摘A computer model has been developed to simulate the nickel smelting process. The primary assumption of the model is that six phases in the nickel smelting furnace are in chemical equilibrium. The amounts of all components in matte, slag and gaseous phases under equilibrium are calculated by using the data of free energies of formation and activity coefficients of components. Two nickel sulfide species are used to allow for the modeling of sulfur-deficient mattes. The predictions by the present computer model are compared with the known data from Kalgoorlie nickel flash smelting. The agreements between the computer predictions and the known data are excellent,so that the present computer model can be used to monitor and optimize the actual industrial operations of nickel smelting process.
