1Prevalence of Thyroid Nodules and Its Relationship with Iodine Status in Shanghai:a Population-based Study显示文摘Objective This study was designed to evaluate the prevalence of thyroid nodules(TNs) and its relationship with urine iodine concentrations(UICs) after the regional rapid economic growth and lifestyle changes. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted in the general population aged 15-69 years. A questionnaire regarding general and personal characteristics and relevant information was administered. Ultrasonography of the thyroid was performed, and serum triiodothyronine(T3), tetraiodothyronine(T4), serum thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH), free triiodothyronine(FT3), free tetraiodothyronine(FT4), thyroglobulin antibody(Tg Ab), thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb), and TSH receptor antibody(TRAb) levels were measured for each individual subject. Results The prevalence rates of TNs in the whole population, females and males were 27.76%, 34.04%, and 21.60%, respectively. The prevalence of multiple nodules increased with age, whereas the prevalence peaks differed between males and females. The median UICs in the whole population and females with non-TNs were higher than those of subjects with TNs(P=0.0035, P=0.0068). The median UICs in subjects with a single TN were higher than those in subjects with multiple TNs(P=0.0164, P=0.0127). The result showed a U-shaped curve relationship between UIC and prevalence of TNs. The prevalence of TNs was the lowest when the UIC was 140-400 μg/L. Conclusion The prevalence of TNs was nearly 30% and increased with age. The relationship between UIC and prevalence of TNs is U-shaped, with an increase in risk when the UIC was <140 μg/L and >400 μg/L. 2Minimally invasive surgery for gastric cancer: A comparison between robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery显示文摘AIM To investigate the role of minimally invasive surgery for gastric cancer and determine surgical, clinical, and oncological outcomes.METHODS This is a propensity score-matched case-control study, comparing three treatment arms: robotic gastrectomy(RG), laparoscopic gastrectomy(LG), open gastrectomy(OG). Data collection started after sharing a specific study protocol. Data were recorded through a tailored and protected web-based system. Primary outcomes: harvested lymph nodes, estimated blood loss, hospital stay, complications rate. Among the secondary outcomes, there are: operative time, R0 resections, POD of mobilization, POD of starting liquid diet and soft solid diet. The analysis includes the evaluation of type and grade of postoperative complications. Detailed information of anastomotic leakages is also provided.RESULTS The present analysis was carried out of 1026 gastrectomies. To guarantee homogenous distribution of cases, patients in the RG, LG and OG groups were 1:1:2 matched using a propensity score analysis with a caliper = 0.2. The successful matching resulted in a total sample of 604 patients(RG = 151; LG = 151; OG = 302). The three groups showed no differences in all baseline patients characteristics, type of surgery(P = 0.42) and stage of the disease(P = 0.16). Intraoperative blood loss was significantly lower in the LG(95.93 ± 119.22) and RG(117.91 ± 68.11) groups compared to the OG(127.26 ± 79.50, P = 0.002). The mean number of retrieved lymph nodes was similar between the RG(27.78 ± 11.45), LG(24.58 ± 13.56) and OG(25.82 ± 12.07) approach. A benefit in favor of the minimally invasive approaches was found in the length of hospital stay(P < 0.0001). A similar complications rate was found(P = 0.13). The leakage rate was not different(P = 0.78) between groups.CONCLUSION Laparoscopic and robotic surgery can be safely performed and proposed as possible alternative to open surgery. 3CCI-based link quality estimation mechanism for wireless sensor networks under non-perceived packet loss显示文摘This paper proposes a chip correlation indicator (CCI)-based link quality estimation mechanism for wireless sensor networks under non-perceived packet loss. On the basis of analyzing all related factors, it can be concluded that signal-to-noise rate (SNR) is the main factor causing the non-perceived packet loss. In this paper, the relationship model between CCI and non-perceived packet loss rate (NPLR) is established from related models such as SNR versus packet success rate (PSR), CCI versus SNR and CCI-NPLR. Due to the large fluctuating range of the raw CCI, Kalman filter is introduced to do de-noising of the raw CCI. The cubic model and the least squares method are employed to fit the relationship between CCI and SNR. In the experiments, many groups of comparison have been conducted and the results show that the proposed mechanism can achieve more accurate measurement of the non-perceived packet loss than existing approaches. 5ZCCHC3 modulates TLR3-mediated signaling by promoting recruitment of TRIF to TLR3显示文摘Toll-like receptor 3(TLR3)-mediated signaling is important for host defense against RNA virus.Upon viral RNA stimulation,toll and interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adaptor inducing IFN-p(TRIF)is recruited to TLR3 and then undergoes oligomerization,which is required for the recruitment of downstream molecules to transmit signals.Here,we identified zinc finger CCHC-type containing 3(ZCCHC3)as a positive regulator of TLR3-mediated signaling.Overexpression of ZCCHC3 promoted transcription of downstream antiviral genes stimulated by the synthetic TLR3 ligand poly(I:C).ZCCHC3-deficiency markedly inhibited TLR3-but not TLR4-mediated induction of type I interferons(IFNs)and proinflammatory cytokines.Zcc/7c3-/-mice were more resistant to poly(l:C)-but not lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammatory death.Mechanistically,ZCCHC3 promoted recruitment of TRIF to TLR3 after poly(l:C)stimulation.Our findings reveal that ZCCHC3 plays an important role in TLR3-mediated innate immune response by promoting the recruitment of TRIF to TLR3 after ligand stimulation.Ru Zang Huan Lian Xuan Zhong Qing Yang Hong-Bing Shu 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,4:3
6Inactivation efficiency of slightly acidic electrolyzed water against microbes on facility surfaces in a disinfection channel显示文摘Slightly acidic electrolyzed water(SAEW,pH 6.0-6.5)is an ideal and environmentally-friendly disinfectant,which was used to prevent and control bacterial infections on farms.This work aims to investigate the inactivation effectiveness of SAEW in inactivating microbes in a disinfection channel.The bactericidal efficiency of SAEW on equipment surfaces was compared to two commercial disinfectants,Kuei A bromide solution(KAS,5:1000 v/v)and Glutaraldehyde solution(GS,5:1000 v/v).The disinfection effectiveness of SAEW in inactivating Salmonella enteritidis(S.enteritidis)on equipment surfaces in the disinfection channel was evaluated,and a model was developed using multiple linear regression analysis.Results indicated that SAEW was significantly(p<0.05)more efficient than KAS and GS on kits and clothing in the disinfection channel at 1 min.The SAEW did not contribute as aggressively to respiratory difficulty as KAS and GS.Maximum reductions of 2.362 log10 CFU/cm^(2),2.613 log10 CFU/cm^(2) and 2.359 log10 CFU/cm^(2) for Salmonella enteritidis were obtained from clothing surfaces,iron materials,and kits treated with SAEW for 2.5 min at a chlorine concentration of 220 mg/L.Moreover,the established model had a good fit-quantified by the determination coefficient R^(2)(0.939)and a lack of fit test(p>0.05).In addition,available chlorine concentration(ACC)was an important factor than other factors,and the inactivation efficiency of Salmonella enteritidis sprayed by SAEW treatment was different between iron materials,kits and clothing surfaces(iron>kit>clothing).Zang Yitian Li Baoming Shi Zhengxiang Sheng Xiaowei Wu Hongxiang Shu Dengqun 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,6:2

10An epigenetic view of developmental diseases: new targets, new therapies显示文摘Background:Function of epigenetic modifications is one of the most competitive fields in life science.Over the past several decades,it has been revealed that epigenetic modifications play essential roles in development and diseases including developmental diseases.In the present review,we summarize the recent progress about the function of epigenetic regulation,especially DNA and RNA modifi cations in developmental diseases.Data sources:Original research articles and literature reviews published in PubMed-indexed journals.Results:DNA modifications including methylation and demethylation can regulate gene expression,and are involved in development and multiple diseases including Rett syndrome,Autism spectrum disorders,congenital heart disease and cancer,etc.RNA methylation and demethylation play important roles in RNA processing,reprogramming,circadian,and neuronal activity,and then modulate development.Conclusions:DNA and RNA modifications play important roles in development and diseases through regulating gene expression.Epigenetic components could serve as novel targets for the treatment of developmental diseases.Pei Xie Li-Qun Zang Xue-Kun Li Qiang Shu 2016World Journal of Pediatrics2016,12,3:1

15Fault Feeder Identification in Non-effectively Grounded Distribution Network with Secondary Earth Fault显示文摘Secondary earth faults occur frequently in power distribution networks under harsh weather conditions.Owing to its characteristics,a secondary earth fault is typically hidden within the transient of the first fault.Therefore,most researchers tend to focus on a feeder with single fault while disregarding secondary faults.This paper presents a fault feeder identification method that considers secondary earth faults in a non-effectively grounded distribution network.First,the wavelet singular entropy method is used to detect a secondary fault event.This method can identify the moment at which a secondary fault occurs.The zero-sequence current data can be categorized into two fault stages.The first and second fault stages correspond to the first and secondary faults,respectively.Subsequently,a similarity matrix containing the time-frequency transient information of the zero-sequence current at the two fault stages is defined to identify the fault feeders.Finally,to confirm the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed method,we conduct simulation experiments and an adaptability analysis based on an electromagnetic transient program.Shu Zhang Tianlei Zang Wenhai Zhang Xianyong Xiao 2021Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,5:1
16Structure Improvement and Optimization of Gantry Milling System for Complex Boring and Milling Machining Center显示文摘To enhance the efficiency and machining precision of the TX1600G complex boring and milling machining center,a study was conducted on the structure of its gantry milling system.This study aimed to mitigate the influence of factors such as structural quality,natural frequency,and stiffness.The approach employed for this investigation involved mechanism topology optimization.To initiate this process,a finite element model of the gantry milling system structure was established.Subsequently,an objective function,comprising strain energy and modal eigenvalues,was synthesized.This objective function was optimized through multi-objective topology optimization,taking into account certain mass fraction constraints and considering various factors,including processing technology.The ultimate goal of this optimization was to create a gantry milling structure that exhibited high levels of dynamic and static stiffness,a superior natural frequency,and reduced mass.To validate the effectiveness of these topology optimization results,a comparison was made between the new and previous structures.The findings of this study serve as a valuable reference for optimizing the structure of other components within the machining center.Zhongxin Zang Qilin Shu 2023Journal of Electronic Research and Application2023,7,5:0
17THE LANDSCAPE ECOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTAND PLANNING IN THE CONTROL WATERSHED BY RESERVOIR OF ERLONG MOUNTAIN显示文摘Based on the theories of landscape ecology, landscape eco environment in the control watershed by reservoir of Erlong Mountain in Heilongjiang Province was analyzed and assessed by using GIS technique and statistical model of Principal Component Analysis and Spatial Cluster Analysis. It is found that 100.08km2(36%)of the total area is in the state of kilter,85.73km2(31%)of the total area is in the state of general,and 47.26km2(17%)and 15.48km2(16%)is in the relatively poor state and ideal state. According to landscape ecological structure,there are three landscape function areas being planned and designed. 1) Agricultural landscape function area: its developmental direction is tour agriculture and high benefit agriculture. 2) Eco environment protected function area:the direction of development and utilization of this region is to develop vigorously forest for soil and water conservation, and try to increase the rate of vegetation cover. 3) Forest landscape function area: rational cut and utilization of forest resources, space optimization disposal of category of forest, foster of forest and protection of wildwood will become the main development directions for this region. 18Characterization of wheat monogenic lines with known Sr genes and wheat cultivars for resistance to three new races of Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici in China显示文摘Wheat stem rust, caused by Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici(Pgt), is a potentially devastating fungal disease of wheat worldwide. The present study was to evaluate the resistance of 42 wheat monogenic lines with known stem rust resistance(Sr) genes and 69 wheat cultivars to three new Pgt races(34C0MRGQM, 34C3MKGQM, and 34C6MTGSM)identified from aeciospores at the seedling and adult-plant stages. The phenotyping results revealed that monogenic lines harboring resistance genes Sr9e, Sr17, Sr21, Sr22, Sr26, Sr30, Sr31, Sr33, Sr35, Sr36, Sr37, Sr38, Sr47, SrTmp,and SrTt3 were effectively resistant to all three Pgt races at the seedling and adult-plant stages. In contrast, monogenic lines containing Sr5, Sr6, Sr7b, Sr9a, Sr9d, Sr9f, Sr9g, Sr9b, Sr16, Sr24, Sr28, and Sr39 were highly susceptible to these races at both seedling and adult-plant stages. The other lines with Sr8a, Sr10, Sr11, Sr13, Sr14, Sr15, Sr18, Sr20,Sr19, Sr23, Sr25, Sr27, Sr29, Sr32, and Sr34, displayed variable levels of resistance to one or two of the tested races.Seedling infection types(ITs) and adult-plant infection responses(IRs) indicated that 41(59.4%) of the wheat cultivars showed high resistance to all the three races. Molecular marker analysis showed that four wheat culitvars likely carried Sr2, 20 wheat culitvars likely carried Sr31, 9 wheat culitvars likely carried Sr38, and none of the cultivars carried Sr24,Sr25, and Sr26. 19S^3 LQA:A Link Quality Assessment Metric for WSNs Based on Symbol Error and Received Signal Strengt显示文摘With the rapid evolution of WSNs technology,it is very important to evaluate link quality quickly and accurately,so that the routing protocols can take relevant strategies in time to keep the entire network working steadily and efficiently. However,the issue of improving link quality assessment methods on physical layer is still open to research. To tackle this issue,a novel link quality assessment metric called S 3 LQA is proposed,which estimates the link quality of wireless sensor networks by CC2420 wireless radio frequency transceiver principles and free space propagation theory. The metric adopts both complete and incomplete packages to improve the evaluation performance effectively based on IEEE802. 15. 4 frame format and DSSS-O-QPSK mechanism. 20Particle Size-Controlled Oxygen Reduction and Evolution Reaction Nanocatalysts Regulate Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)’s Dual-potential Electrochemiluminescence for Sandwich Immunoassay显示文摘Multiple signal strategies remarkably improve the accuracy and efficiency of electrochemiluminescence(ECL)immunoassays,but the lack of potential-resolved luminophore pairs and chemical cross talk hinders their development.In this study,we synthesized a series of gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)/reduced graphene oxide(Au/rGO)composites as adjustable oxygen reduction reaction and oxygen evolution reaction catalysts to promote and modulate tris(2,2′-bipyridine)ruthenium(II)(Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+))’s multisignal luminescence.With the increase in the diameter of AuNPs(3 to 30 nm),their ability to promote Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)’s anodic ECL was first impaired and then strengthened,and cathodic ECL was first enhanced and then weakened.Au/rGOs with medium-small and medium-large AuNP diameters remarkably increased Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)’s cathodic and anodic luminescence,respectively.Notably,the stimulation effects of Au/rGOs were superior to those of most existing Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)co-reactants.Moreover,we proposed a novel ratiometric immunosensor construction strategy using Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)’s luminescence promoter rather than luminophores as tags of antibodies to achieve signal resolution.This method avoids signal cross talk between luminophores and their respective co-reactants,which achieved a good linear range of 10−7 to 10−1 ng/ml and a limit of detection of 0.33 fg/ml for detecting carcinoembryonic antigen.This study addresses the previous scarcity of the macromolecular co-reactants of Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+),broadening its application in biomaterial detection.Furthermore,the systematic clarification of the detailed mechanisms for converting the potential-resolved luminescence of Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)could facilitate an in-depth understanding of the ECL process and should inspire new designs of Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+)luminescence enhancers or applications of Au/rGOs to other luminophores.This work removes some impediments to the development of multisignal ECL biodetection systems and provides vitality into their widespread applications.Shijun Wang Shu Zhu Ziqi Kang Xiangxiu Wang Zixin Deng Kun Hu Jianjun Hu Xiancheng Liu Guixue Wang Guangchao Zang Yuchan Zhang 2023Research2023,,4:0
