2The first all-season sample set for mapping global land cover with Landsat-8 data显示文摘We report the world's first all-season training and validation sample sets for global land cover classification with Landsat-8 data.Prior to this,such samples were only available at a single date primarily from the growing season.It is unknown how much limitation such a single-date sample has to mapping global land cover in other seasons of the year.To answer this question,we selected available Landsat-8 images from four seasons and collected training and validation samples from them.We compared the performances of training samples in different seasons using Random Forest algorithm.We found that the use of training samples from any individual season would result in the best overall classification accuracy when validated by samples in the same season.The global overall accuracy from combined best seasonal results was 67.2% when classifying the 11 Level-1 classes in the Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover(FROM-GLC) classification system.The use of training samples from all seasons(named all-season training sample set hereafter) produced an overall accuracy of 67.0%.We also tested classification within 10° latitude 60° longitude zones using all-season training subsample within each zone and obtained an overall accuracy of 70.2%.This indicates that properly grouped subsamples in space can help improve classification accuracies.All the results in this study seem to suggest that it is possible to use an all-season training sample set to reach global optimality with universal applicability in classifying images acquired at any time of a year for global land cover mapping.Congcong Li Peng Gong Jie Wang Zhiliang Zhu Gregory S. 3An Adaptive Tag Anti-Collision Protocol in RFID Wireless Systems显示文摘A novel anti-collision algorithm in RFID wireless network is proposed.As it is put forward on the basis of collision tree(CT)and improved collision tree(lCT) anti-collision protocols,we call it adaptive collision tree protocol(ACT).The main novelty of this paper is that the AD strategy is introduced and used in ACT to decrease collisions and improve the tag system throughput.AD strategy means that query strings will divide into two or four branches adaptively according to the label quantity.This scheme can decrease both depth of query and collision timeslots,and avoid producing too much idle timeslots at the same time.Both theoretical analysis and simulation results indicate that the novel proposed anticollision protocol ACT outperforms the previous CT and ICT protocols in term of time complexity,system throughput,and communication complexity.LIU Xiaohui QIAN Zhihong ZHAO Yanhang GUO Yuqi 2014China Communications2014,11,7:16

5Solution Domain Boundary Analysis Method and Its Application in Parameter Spaces of Nonlinear Gear System显示文摘Mastering the influence laws of parameters on the solution structure of nonlinear systems is the basis of carrying out vibration isolation and control.Many researches on solution structure and bifurcation phenomenon in parameter spaces are carried out broadly in many fields,and the research on nonlinear gear systems has attracted the attention of many scholars.But there is little study on the solution domain boundary of nonlinear gear systems.For a periodic non-autonomous nonlinear dynamic system with several control parameters,a solution domain boundary analysis method of nonlinear systems in parameter spaces is proposed,which combines the cell mapping method based on Poincaré point mapping in phase spaces with the domain decomposition technique of parameter spaces.The cell mapping is known as a global analysis method to analyze the global behavior of a nonlinear dynamic system with finite dimensions,and the basic idea of domain decomposition techniques is to divide and rule.The method is applied to analyze the solution domain boundaries in parameter spaces of a nonlinear gear system.The distribution of different period domains,chaos domain and the domain boundaries between different period domains and chaotic domain are obtained in control parameter spaces constituted by meshing damping ratio with excitation frequency,fluctuation coefficient of meshing stiffness and average exciting force respectively by calculation.The calculation results show that as the meshing damping increases,the responses of the system change towards a single motion,while the variations of the excitation frequency,meshing stiffness and exciting force make the solution domain presenting diversity.The proposed research contribution provides evidence for vibration control and parameter design of the gear system,and confirms the validity of the solution domain boundary analysis method.LIU Haixia WANG Sanmin GUO Jiashun ZHENG Yuqi 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,3:7
6STING signaling activation inhibits HBV replication and attenuates the severity of liver injury and HBV-induced fibrosis显示文摘The covalently closed circular DNA(cccDNA)of HBV plays a crucial role in viral persistence and is also a risk factor for developing HBV-induced diseases,including liver fibrosis.Stimulator of interferon genes(STING),a master regulator of DNA-mediated innate immune activation,is a potential therapeutic target for viral infection and virus-related diseases.In this study,agonist-induced STING signaling activation in macrophages was revealed to inhibit cccDNA-mediated transcription and HBV replication via epigenetic modification in hepatocytes.Notably,STING activation could efficiently attenuate the severity of liver injury and fibrosis in a chronic recombinant cccDNA(rcccDNA)mouse model,which is a proven suitable research platform for HBV-induced fibrosis.Mechanistically,STING-activated autophagic flux could suppress macrophage inflammasome activation,leading to the amelioration of liver injury and HBV-induced fibrosis.Overall,the activation of STING signaling could inhibit HBV replication through epigenetic suppression of cccDNA and alleviate HBV-induced liver fibrosis through the suppression of macrophage inflammasome activation by activating autophagic flux in a chronic HBV mouse model.This study suggests that targeting the STING signaling pathway may be an important therapeutic strategy to protect against persistent HBV replication and HBV-induced fibrosis.Yuqi Li Minjing He Ziyu Wang Zhiyun Duan Zhiwei Guo Ziteng Wang Ruijie Gong Tianhao Chu Jiabin Cai Bo Gao 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1:7

9Modeling cascading failures and mitigation strategies in PMU based cyber-physical power systems显示文摘This paper presents a model of cascading failures in cyber-physical power systems(CPPSs) based on an improved percolation theory, and then proposes failure mitigation strategies. In this model, the dynamic development of cascading failures is divided into several iteration stages. The power flow in the power grid, along with the data transmission and delay in the cyber layer, is considered in the improved percolation theory. The interaction mechanism between two layers is interpreted as the observability and controllability analysis and data update analysis influencing the node state transformation and security command execution. The resilience indices of the failures reflect the influence of cascading failures on both topological integrity and operational state. The efficacy of the proposed mitigation strategies is validated, including strategies to convert some cyber layer nodes into autonomous nodes and embed unified power flow controller(UPFC) into the physical layer. The results obtained from simulations of cascading failures in a CPPS with increasing initial failure sizes are compared for various scenarios.Dynamic cascading failures can be separated into rapid and slow processes. The interdependencies and gap between the observable and controllable parts of the physical layer with the actual physical network are two fundamental reasons for first-order transition failures. 12Novel synthesis of Z-schemeα-Bi2O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite photocatalyst and its enhanced visible light photocatalytic performance:Influence of calcination temperature显示文摘In this study,α-Bi2O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposite with direct Z-scheme was successfully prepared through calcination of BiOCOOH/g-C_(3)N_(4) precursor at different temperature.Meanwhile,the effect of calcination temperature on the physicochemical properties ofα-Bi2O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) was studied.All results confirmed that calcination tempe rature greatly influences structural,morphology,surface states,photoelectrochemical property and photocatalytic(PC)perfo rmance ofα-Bi2O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite.Furthermore,theα-Bi2O_(3)/gC_(3)N_(4) composite was applied as photocatalyst to degrade amido black 10 B dye under visible light irradiation.It was found that the composite synthesized at 400℃exhibited the highest PC performance due to the intense visible light absorbance and high separation efficiency of electron and hole pairs.Besides,the possible PC mechanism was proposed that the photo-generated charge carrier migration inα-Bi2O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) photocatalyst followed a Z-scheme structure.Finally,the stability test also manifest that theα-Bi2O_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite photocatalyst has good stability and reusability,which was a promising candidate for wastewater treatment.Bo Li Li-Chao Nengzi Ruonan Guo Yuqi Cui Youxian Zhang Xiuwen Cheng 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:3

16Highly efficient production of 2,5-dihydroxymethylfuran from biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural over an amorphous and mesoporous zirconium phosphonate catalyst显示文摘The development of high-efficiency and low-cost catalysts is very crucial for the MeerweinPonndorf-Verley (MPV) reduction of biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) into 2,5-dihydroxymethylfuran (DHMF). In this work, an amorphous and mesoporous zirconium phosphonate catalyst (Zr-DTMP), which is a zirconium-containing organic-inorganic nanohybrid, was successfully designed and synthesized by the simple assembly of zirconium tetrachloride (ZrCl4) and diethylene triaminepenta(methylene phosphonic acid)(DTMP). Satisfactorily, when Zr-DTMP was employed for the MPV reduction of HMF in the presence of 2-butanol (secBuOH), DHMF yield could be achieved as 96.5% in 3 h under a relatively mild reaction temperature of 140℃. Systematic investigations indicated that this high catalytic activity should be mainly due to the cooperative role of enhancive Lewis acid site (Zr4+) and Lewis base site (O2-) in activating the carbonyl group of HMF and dissociating the hydroxyl group of secBuOH, respectively. Additionally, Zr-DTMP showed excellent catalytic stability, when it was successively used 5 recycles, its surface characteristics and textural properties still remained almost unchanged, and so, the catalytic activity was not obviously affected. More interestingly, Zr-DTMP could also be applied for the selective reduction of other biomass-derived carbonyl compounds, such as 5-methylfurfural (MF), furfural (FF), levulinic acid (LA), ethyl levulinate (EL) and cyclohexanone (CHN), into the corresponding products with high yields, which is beneficial to the effective synthesis of various valuable bio-based chemicals.Lei Hu Ning Li Xiaoli Dai Yuqi Guo Yetao Jiang Aiyong He Jiaxing Xu 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,10:1
