3Examining effective use of data sources and modeling algorithms for improving biomass estimation in a moist tropical forest of the Brazilian Amazon显示文摘Previous research has explored the potential to integrate lidar and optical data in aboveground biomass(AGB)estimation,but how different data sources,vegetation types,and modeling algorithms influence AGB estimation is poorly understood.This research conducts a comparative analysis of different data sources and modeling approaches in improving AGB estimation.RapidEye-based spectral responses and textures,lidar-derived metrics,and their combination were used to develop AGB estimation models.The results indicated that(1)overall,RapidEye data are not suitable for AGB estimation,but when AGB falls within 50–150 Mg/ha,support vector regression based on stratification of vegetation types provided good AGB estimation;(2)Lidar data provided stable and better estimations than RapidEye data;and stratification of vegetation types cannot improve estimation;(3)The combination of lidar and RapidEye data cannot provide better performance than lidar data alone;(4)AGB ranges affect the selection of the best AGB models,and a combination of different estimation results from the best model for each AGB range can improve AGB estimation;(5)This research implies that an optimal procedure for AGB estimation for a specific study exists,depending on the careful selection of data sources,modeling algorithms,forest types,and AGB ranges.Yunyun Feng Dengsheng Lu Qi Chena Michael Keller Emilio Moran Maiza Nara dos-Santos Edson Luis Bolfe Mateus Batistella 2017International Journal of Digital Earth2017,10,10:2
4Assessing the genetic diversity of the critically endangered Chinese sturgeon Acipenser sinensis using mitochondrial markers and genome-wide single-nucleotide polymorphisms from RAD-seq显示文摘As a living fossil, the endangered Chinese sturgeon(Acipenser sinensis) has been considered a national treasure in China. Here,the famous Gezhouba Dam and Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River were built in 1988 and 2006, for economic purposes.The natural population of Chinese sturgeon has declined since then, as these dams block its migratory route to the original spawning grounds in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. In 2013 and 2014, there was an absence of spawning where it typically happened near the Gezhouba Dam. Nevertheless, from April to June in 2015, over 1,000 larvae with different body lengths(10–35 cm) were detected along the Shanghai Yangtze Estuary; but only little is currently known about the population genetic structure of the Chinese sturgeon. Herein, we inferred population genetic parameters from 462 available Chinese sturgeon specimens based on a 421-bp fragment of the mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA) D-loop region and 1,481,620 SNPs(singlenucleotide polymorphisms) generated by restriction site-associated DNA sequencing(RAD-seq). For the D-loop dataset, 15 haplotypes were determined. Randomly picked 23 individuals, representing the 15 D-loop haplotype groups, were subsequently used for further RAD-seq validation. The average nucleotide diversity calculated from the mtDNA and RAD datasets was 0.0086 and 0.000478, respectively. The overall effective female population size was calculated to be 1,255 to 2,607, and the long-term effective population size was estimated to range from 11,950 to 119,500. We observed that the genetic variability and the effective female population size of the current population in the Yangtze River are severely low, which are similar to the data reported over 10 years ago. 8Achieving both large piezoelectric constant and low dielectric loss in BiScO_(3)-PbTiO_(3)-Bi(Mn_(2/3)Sb_(1/3))O_(3)high-temperature piezoelectric ceramics显示文摘BiScO_(3)-PbTiO_(3)binary ceramics own both high Curie temperature and prominent piezoelectric properties,while the high dielectric loss needs to be reduced substantially for practical application especially at high temperatures.In this work,a ternary perovskite system of(1-x-y)BiScO3-yPbTiO3-xBi(Mn_(2/3)Sb_(1/3))O_(3)(BS-yPT-xBMS)with x=0.005,y=0.630-0.645 and x=0.015,y=0.625-0.640 was prepared by the traditional solid-state reaction method.The phase structure,microstructure,dielectric/piezoelec­tric/ferroelectric properties were studied.Among BS-yPT-xBMS ceramic series,the BS-0.630PT-0.015BMS at morphotropic phase boundary possesses the reduced dielectric loss factor(tanδ=1.20%)and increased mechanical quality factor(Qm=84),and maintains a high Curie temperature(TC=410°C)and excellent piezoelectric properties(d_(33)=330 pC/N)simultaneously.Of particular importance,at elevated temperature of 200°C,the value of tanδis only increased to 1.59%.All these properties indicate that the BS-0.630PT-0.015BMS ceramic has great potential for application in high-temperature piezoelectric devices.Yunyun Feng Changhong Yang Xiaoying Guo Wei Sun Wenxuan Wang Xiujuan Lin Shifeng Huang 2022Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2022,12,6:0

10Synthesis of fluorinated CaCO_(3)-based oxygen-supplying nanophotosensitizers to potentiate photodynamic immunotherapy by reversing tumor hypoxia and immunosuppression显示文摘Photodynamic therapy is a noninvasive type of phototherapy with a high capacity to boost specific antitumor immunity by causing immunogenic cell death.However,the photodynamic therapeutic potency toward solid tumors is dampened by tumor hypoxia that negatively impairs the generation of cytotoxic singlet oxygen and promotes the formation of tumor immunosuppression.Herein,fluorinated CaCO_(3)(CaF)nanoparticles are prepared with the addition of dopamine-conjugated perfluorosebacic acid and ferric chloride into a calcium chloride ethanol solution via an ammonium bicarbonate-mediated gas-diffusion process.After being coated with commercial lipids and hexadecylamin conjugated chlorin e6(hCe6)via a templated self-assembly process,the yielded PEGylated nanophotosensitizer(hCe6@CaF-PEG)exhibits an effective loading efficiency to perfluoro-15-crown-5-ether(PFCE),a model perfluorocarbon molecule,and thus oxygen molecules.Upon intravenous administration,the obtained PFCE/hCe6@CaF-PEG can alleviate tumor hypoxia by working as an oxygen nanoshuttle.Together with local light emitting diode light exposure,photodynamic treatment with PFCE/hCe6@CaF-PEG can suppress the growth of primary CT26 tumors and unirradiated distant tumors,particularly when synergized with anti-PD-1(aPD-1)immunotherapy to collectively reverse tumor immunosuppression.This work presents an effective strategy to potentiate photodynamic immunotherapy by concurrently reversing tumor hypoxia and immunosuppression.Yunyun Zhang Ziliang Dong Yu Hao Yimou Gong Chunjie Wang Yifan Yan Minming Chen Yumin Wu Quguang Li Zhuang Liu Liangzhu Feng 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
