The motor parameter design problem is converted to an optimization problem with five design parameters and six constraints. The PIO algorithm is introduced into the framework of MC for improving the global convergence performance. The hybrid algorithm can improve the population diversity with better searching efficiency. | 5 | Avian contrast sensitivity inspired contour detector for unmanned aerial vehicle landing显示文摘Runway detection is a demanding task for autonomous landing of unmanned aerial vehicles. Inspired by the attenuation effect and surround suppression mechanism, a novel biologically computational method based on the avian contrast sensitivity is proposed for runway contour detection. For the noisy stimuli, deniosed responses of the biologically inspired Gabor energy operator are generalized followed by the denoising layer and the multiresolution fusion layer. Moreover, two factors such as contour effect and texture suppression are considered in the contrast sensitivity based surround inhibition. Different from traditional detectors, which do not distinguish between contours and texture edges, the proposed method can respond strongly to contours and suppress the texture information. Applying the contrast sensitivity inspired detector to noisy runway scenes yields effective contours, while the non-meaningful texture elements are removed dramatically at the same time. | 6 | Autonomous Maneuver Decisions via Transfer Learning Pigeon-Inspired Optimization for UCAVs in Dogfight Engagements显示文摘This paper proposes an autonomous maneuver decision method using transfer learning pigeon-inspired optimization(TLPIO)for unmanned combat aerial vehicles(UCAVs)in dogfight engagements.Firstly,a nonlinear F-16 aircraft model and automatic control system are constructed by a MATLAB/Simulink platform.Secondly,a 3-degrees-of-freedom(3-DOF)aircraft model is used as a maneuvering command generator,and the expanded elemental maneuver library is designed,so that the aircraft state reachable set can be obtained.Then,the game matrix is composed with the air combat situation evaluation function calculated according to the angle and range threats.Finally,a key point is that the objective function to be optimized is designed using the game mixed strategy,and the optimal mixed strategy is obtained by TLPIO.Significantly,the proposed TLPIO does not initialize the population randomly,but adopts the transfer learning method based on Kullback-Leibler(KL)divergence to initialize the population,which improves the search accuracy of the optimization algorithm.Besides,the convergence and time complexity of TLPIO are discussed.Comparison analysis with other classical optimization algorithms highlights the advantage of TLPIO.In the simulation of air combat,three initial scenarios are set,namely,opposite,offensive and defensive conditions.The effectiveness performance of the proposed autonomous maneuver decision method is verified by simulation results. | Wanying Ruan Haibin Duan Yimin Deng | 2022 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,9: | 2 |
| 7 | Disruption of crosstalk between LX-2 and liver cancer stem-like cells from MHCC97H cells by DFOG via inhibiting FOXM1显示文摘Hepatic stellate cell(HSC)line LX-2 is activated by liver cancer stem-like cells(LCSLCs)and produces various cytokines that make up most of the hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)microenvironment.The new genistein derivative,7-difluoromethoxyl-5,4-dirboctylgenistein(DFOG),shows anticancer effects in multiple malignancies by controlling forkhead box M1(FOXM1).In this study,we aimed to assess whether DFOG disrupts the crosstalk between human HSC LX-2 cells and LCSLCs.Distinct gen erations of MHCC97H-derived spheres were obtained with the sec ond generation considered as LCSLCs which displayed enhanced self-renewal ability and elevated expression levels of CD133,CD44,and EpCAM proteins,as well as tumorigenicity,as revealed by colony formation assay in vitro and tumorigenicity assay in vivo.LX-2 and MHCC97H cells were co-cultured with/without DFOG(1,5,and 10 pM,respectively)using the transwell system.FOXM1 overexpression and/or knockdown were employed for mechanistic investigations.Our results suggested that Co-CM promoted LX-2 cell transformation into liver cancer-associated HSCs.Meanwhile,FOXM1 was up-regulated and the level of hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)was in creased in LX-2 cells and in the super nata nt after Co-CM stimulati on.Sphere and colony formation abilities in MHCC97H cells,and protein levels of CD133r CD44,and EpCAM,were also markedly elevated.DFOG dose-dependently inhibited the above effects,similar to FOXM1 knockdown in LX-2 cells.FOXM1 overexpression reversed the inhibitory effects of DFOG or FOXM1 knockdown or both on LX-2 cell activation and LCSLC feature induction in MHCC97H cells by LCSLC/LX-2 co-culture.This study demonstrated that DFOG disrupts the crosstalk between HSCs and LCSLCs to suppress LCSLC features via dowrrregulating FOXM1 expression and reducing HGF secretion in HSCs. | A Chen Chang Xu Yimin Luo Lihua Liu Kun Song Guangqi Deng Mengjie Yang Jianguo Cao Liming Yuan Xiang Li | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,12: | 2 |

Most of the research in this area concerns the verification of the algorithms while the experiments are conducted on the ground. In this work, in order to verify the vision system designed for boom approach AAR, an integrated platform is built and tested. The platform consists of a tanker UAV, a receiver UAV and a ground station. The pictures of the marker on the receiver UAV are captured by the binocular vision system on the tanker UAV and then used for flight control and boom control. | 11 | Early embryonic transcriptomes of Zeugodacus tau provide insight into sex determination and differentiation genes显示文摘Zeugodacus tau(Walker)is an invasive pest.The sterile insect technique is an environment-friendly method for pest control.Understanding the mechanism of sex determination will contribute to improving efficiency of this technique.In this study,we identified the transformer(tra)gene in Z.tau.One female-specific and two male-specific isoforms of tra were found in Z.tau,and the male-specific splicing pattern of tra was found to occur 5 h after egg laying.We performed transcriptome sequencing at 1 h(E1),5 h(E5),and 9 h(E9)after egg laying and obtained high-quality transcriptome libraries of early embryo development.We identified 13297 and 11713 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)from E5 versus E1 and E9 versus E1 comparisons,respectively.To explore the potential functions of the DEGs during embryonic development,Gene Ontology,Clusters of Orthologous Groups of proteins,and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses were performed.Twenty-six genes potentially involved in sex determination or differentiation,including Maleness-on-the-Y(MoY),were identified in Z.tau.To verify the transcriptome results,15 genes were selected for quantitative real-time PCR validation.The results were consistent with the transcriptome sequencing results.Moreover,U2 small nuclear riboprotein auxiliary factor(U2AF-50),female lethal d(fl(2)d),and virilizer(vir)were highly expressed at E5,indicating that they may be related to the sex-specific splicing of tra.Further functional analysis is needed to confirm this speculation.Our data provide an insight into the mechanism underlying sex determination and differentiation in tephritid species. | Peipei Liu Wenping Zheng Jiao Qiao Ziniu Li Zhurong Deng Yimin Yuan Hongyu Zhang | 2022 | Insect Science2022,29,3: | 1 |

| 19 | Influence of Multi-component Failure on Mechanical Product Design Change显示文摘Design change is one of the most common activities in design and development of mechanical products, and the change will affected by the design and maintenance of the products. It is not uncommon that multiple components might run out of order simultaneously during the use of a product, which would have significant influences on the product performance. Such kind of multi-component failure must be considered early in the product design stage, therefore it is necessary to study multiple design changes incurred by multi-component failure. Existing studies on the design change only focus on single change and ignore multiple simultaneous changes. To address this problem, a change influence network model is establishes, and the propagation path of multiple changes on the change influence network is described according to the change propagation characteristics of mechanical products. By analyzing the degree of dependence between the nodes and the absorption situations of nodes to change propagation, the possible paths of change propagation on the change influence network are determined, and based on which, calculation of the change influence is carried out, which provides decision-making support for product designers.
