3A CRISPR/Cas12a-empowered surface plasmon resonance platform for rapid and specific diagnosis of the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2显示文摘The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic was partially due to the challenge of identifying asymptomatic and presymptomatic carriers of the virus,and thus highlights a strong motivation for diagnostics with high sensitivity that can be rapidly deployed.On the other hand,several concerning SARS-CoV-2 variants,including Omicron,are required to be identified as soon as the samples are identified as‘positive’.Unfortunately,a traditional PCR test does not allow their specific identification.Herein,for the first time,we have developed MOPCS(Methodologies of Photonic CRISPR Sensing),which combines an optical sensing technology-surface plasmon resonance(SPR)with the‘gene scissors’clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat(CRISPR)technique to achieve both high sensitivity and specificity when it comes to measurement of viral variants.MOPCS is a low-cost,CRISPR/Cas12a-systemempowered SPR gene-detecting platform that can analyze viral RNA,without the need for amplification,within 38 min from sample input to results output,and achieve a limit of detection of 15 fM.MOPCS achieves a highly sensitive analysis of SARS-CoV-2,and mutations appear in variants B.1.617.2(Delta),B.1.1.529(Omicron)and BA.1(a subtype of Omicron).This platform was also used to analyze some recently collected patient samples from a local outbreak in China,identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.This innovative CRISPR-empowered SPR platform will further contribute to the fast,sensitive and accurate detection of target nucleic acid sequences with single-base mutations.Zhi Chen Jingfeng Li Tianzhong Li Taojian Fan Changle Meng Chaozhou Li Jianlong Kang Luxiao Chai Yabin Hao Yuxuan Tang Omar AAl-Hartomy Swelm Wageh Abdullah GAl-Sehemi Zhiguang Luo Jiangtian Yu Yonghong Shao Defa Li Shuai Feng William J.Liu Yaqing He Xiaopeng Ma Zhongjian Xie Han Zhang 2022National Science Review2022,9,8:3

11TULAM:trajectory-user linking via attention mechanism显示文摘Recently,the application of location-based services(LBS)has become a prevalent means to provide convenience in customers’everyday lives.However,because massive volumes of location information are collected by LBS applications,users may suffer from serious privacy issues.Prior studies have shown that the identities of users can be inferred from historical anonymous trajectories,which is formulated as the trajectory-user linking(TUL)task.Although some recurrent neural network(RNN)-based models have been proposed to capture implicit movement patterns among trajectories to improve TUL performance,they cannot learn the sequential and contextual semantics within any individual trajectory completely,leaving the advantages of RNNs underutilized.We therefore propose an RNN model with an attention mechanism called TULAM to improve the accuracy of the TUL task.TULAM learns sequential relationships within individual trajectories via RNN and captures contextual semantics from trajectories via a multi-head attention mechanism.Additionally,we propose a novel location encoding method called approximate one-hot to solve the corpus shortage problem of trajectory datasets.Evaluations were conducted on real datasets from the Gowalla and Foursquare LBS platforms.The experimental results indicate that TULAM is a practical solution that achieves significant improvements over existing methods with satisfactory model complexity and convergence.Hao LI Shuyu CAO Yaqing CHEN Min ZHANG Dengguo FENG 2024Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,1:1

15Fluorine-Mediated Benzothiadiazole Derivatives for Second-Order Nonlinear Optics显示文摘With increasing research interests in the field of light-matter interactions,various methods have been developed for regulating nonlinear optical(NLO)materials.However,the design and synthesis of organic molecular materials for second-order nonlinear optics remain a great challenge because of the strict requirement of the materials to possess a noncentrosymmetric structure.In this work,two benzothiadiazole(BTD)derivatives referred to as BTD-H and BTD-F were synthesized,and their NLO properties in the crystalline states were studied.It was found that introducing fluorine into the BTD backbone effectively tuned the crystal packing styles of BTD derivatives to a noncentrosymmetric system for effective second-order NLO responses.Such a strategy to induce the noncentrosymmetric structure by introducing the fluorine atoms and halogen interactions may provide guidance for future engineering of organic NLO molecular materials.Huina You Qinqin Xu Chenggong Ju Yaqing Feng Bao Zhang 2019Transactions of Tianjin University2019,25,6:0

17Preparation of water-soluble magnetic nanoparticles with controllable silica coating显示文摘This work provides a general method for preparing monodisperse, water-soluble and paramagnetic magnetic nanoparticles which are easy to be modified. Firstly, magnetic silica with core-shell structure was prepared according to a previous work. Then, the magnetic silica was treated with alkali solution to afford magnetic nanoparticles. With the increase of calcination temperature for the preparation of magnetic silica, the crystallinity and the magnetic responsibility of magnetic silica strengthened, meanwhile, the corresponding magnetic nanoparticles kept monodisperse without any aggregation. The magnetic nanoparticles are comprised of cobalt ferrite and a silica coating. 20A tunable ionic covalent organic framework platform for efficient CO_(2) catalytic conversion显示文摘The cycloaddition reaction between epoxides and CO_(2) is an effective method to utilize CO_(2) resource.Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)provide a promising platform for the catalytic CO_(2) transformations on account of their remarkable chemical and physical properties.Herein,a family of novel vinylene-linked ionic COFs named TE-COFs(TTE-COF,TME-COF,TPE-COF,TBE-COF)has been facilely synthesized from N-ethyl2,4,6-trimethylpyridinium bromide and a series of triphenyl aromatic aldehydes involving different numbers of nitrogen atoms in the central aromatic ring.The resulting catalyst TTE-COF with excellent adsorption capacity(45.6 cm3·g^(-1),273 K)exhibited outstanding catalytic performance,remarkable recyclability and great substrate tolerance.Moreover,it was also observed that the introduction of nitrogen atom in the precursor led to a great improvement in the crystallinity and CO_(2) adsorption capacity of TE-COFs,thus resulting to a progressively improved catalytic performance.This work not only illustrated the influence of monomer nitrogen content on the crystallinity and CO_(2) adsorption capacity of TE-COFs but also provided a green heterogeneous candidate for catalyzing the cycloaddition between CO_(2) and epoxides,which shed a light on improving the catalytic performance of the CO_(2) cycloaddition reaction by designing the covalent organic frameworks structures.Ting Li Ji Xiong Minghui Chen Quan Shi Xiangyu Li Yu Jiang Yaqing Feng Bao Zhang 2024Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2024,18,1:0
