Platelet-rich fibrin-induced bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell differentiation into osteoblast-like cells and neural cells显示文摘Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were allowed to develop for 14 days in a platelet-rich fibrin environment. Results demonstrated that platelet-rich fibrin significantly promoted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell proliferation. In addition, there was a dose-dependent increase in Runt-related transcription factor-2 and bone morphogenetic protein-2 mRNA expression,as well as neuron-specific enolase and glial acidic protein. Results showed that platelet-rich fibrin promoted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast-like cells and neural cells in a dose-dependent manner.Qi Li Yajun Geng Lei Lu Tingting Yang Mingrui Zhang Yanmin Zhou 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,31:12
Decreased nitrous oxide emissions associated with functional microbial genes under bio-organic fertilizer application in vegetable fields显示文摘Bio-organic fertilizers enriched with plant growth-promoting microbes(PGPMs)have been widely used in crop fields to promote plant growth and maintain soil microbiome functions. However, their potential effects on N_(2)O emissions are of increasing concern. In this study,an in situ measurement experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of organic fertilizer containing Trichoderma guizhouense(a plant growth-promoting fungus)on soil N_(2)O emissions from a greenhouse vegetable field. The following four treatments were used:no fertilizer(control),chemical fertilizer(NPK),organic fertilizer derived from cattle manure(O),and organic fertilizer containing T.guizhouense(O+T,referring to bio-organic fertilizer). The abundances of soil N cycling-related functional genes(amoA)from ammonium-oxidizing bacteria(AOB)and archaea(AOA),as well as nirS,nirK,and nosZ,were simultaneously determined using quantitative PCR(qPCR).Compared to the NPK plot, seasonal total N_(2)O emissions decreased by 11.7%and 18.7%in the O and O+T plots, respectively, which was attributed to lower NH_(4)^(+)-N content and AOB amoA abundance in the O and O+T plots. The nosZ abundance was significantly greater in the O+T plot, whilst the AOB amoA abundance was significantly lower in the O+T plot than in the O plot.Relative to the organic fertilizer,bio-organic fertilizer application tended to decrease N_(2)O emissions by 7.9%and enhanced vegetable yield, resulting in a significant decrease in yield-scaled N_(2)O emissions.Overall, the results of this study suggested that, compared to organic and chemical fertilizers,bio-organic fertilizers containing PGPMs could benefit crop yield and mitigate N_(2)O emissions in vegetable fields.Yajun GENG Yiming YUAN Yingcheng MIAO Junzhang ZHI Mengyuan HUANG Yihe ZHANG Hong WANG Qirong SHEN Jianwen ZOU Shuqing LI 2021Pedosphere2021,31,2:7
A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 8Effects of curcumin on hippocampal Bax and Bcl-2 expression and cognitive function of a rat model of Alzheimer's disease显示文摘We tested the effects of curcumin treatment on a rat model of Alzheimer's disease induced by beta-amlyoid (Aβ1-40) expression. We investigated alterations in the expression of the apoptosis-related genes Bax and Bcl-2 in the hippocampus, as well as changes in the spatial memory and cognitive function of the rats. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry results showed that Bax expression was remarkably decreased and Bcl-2 expression was increased in the rat Alzheimer's disease model after curcumin treatment. Morris water maze results showed that the average time of escape latency was shortened in the curcumin treated model rats. Our study shows that curcumin can significantly improve spatial learning and memory functions in rats with Aβ1-40-induced Alzheimer's disease by modulating Bax and Bcl-2 expression.Yunliang Wang Honglei Yin Jiyu LOU Bing Han Xinyue Qin Fanchao Meng Shuang Geng Yajun Liu 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,24:1
An improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-Ⅱ experiment显示文摘In dark matter direct detection experiments, neutron is a serious source of background, which can mimic the dark matter-nucleus scattering signals. In this paper,we present an improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-II dark matter experiment by a novel approach.Instead of fully relying on the Monte Carlo simulation, the overall neutron background is determined from the neutron-induced high energy signals in the data.In addition, the probability of producing a dark-matter-like background per neutron is evaluated with a complete Monte Carlo generator, where the correlated emission of neutron(s)andγ(s)in the(α,n)reactions and spontaneous fissions is taken into consideration. With this method, the neutron backgrounds in the Run 9(26-ton-day)and Run 10(28-ton-day)data sets of PandaX-II are estimated to be(0.66±0.24)and(0.47±0.25)events,respectively.QiuHong Wang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen YunHua Chen XiangYi Cui YingJie Fan DeQing Fang ChangBo Fu LiSheng Geng Karl Giboni Franco Giuliani LinHui Gu XuYuan Guo Ke Han ChangDa He Di Huang Yan Huang YanLin Huang Zhou Huang Peng Ji XiangDong Ji YongLin Ju YiHui Lai Kun Liang HuaXuan Liu JiangLai Liu WenBo Ma YuGang Ma YaJun Mao Yue Meng Parinya Namwongsa KaiXiang Ni JinHua Ning XuYang Ning XiangXiang Ren ChangSong Shang Lin Si AnDi Tan AnQing Wang HongWei Wang Meng Wang SiGuang Wang XiuLi Wang Zhou Wang MengMeng Wu ShiYong Wu JingKai Xia MengJiao Xiao PengWei Xie BinBin Yan JiJun Yang Yong Yang ChunXu Yu Jumin Yuan Dan Zhang HongGuang Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao QiBin Zheng JiFang Zhou Ning Zhou XiaoPeng Zhou 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3:0
Constraining self-interacting dark matter with the full dataset of PandaX-II显示文摘Self-interacting dark matter(SIDM)is a leading candidate proposed to solve discrepancies between predictions of the prevailing cold dark matter theory and observations of galaxies. Many SIDM models predict the existence of a light force carrier that mediates strong dark matter self-interactions.If the mediator couples to the standard model particles,it could produce characteristic signals in dark matter direct detection experiments. We report searches for signals of SIDM models with a light mediator using the full dataset of the PandaX-II experiment, basing on a total exposure of 132 tonne-days.No significant excess over background is found, and our likelihood analysis leads to a strong upper limit on the dark matter-nucleon coupling strength. We further combine the PandaX-II constraints and those from observations of the light element abundances in the early universe, and show that direct detection and cosmological probes can provide complementary constraints on dark matter models with a light mediator.Jijun Yang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen Yunhua Chen Chen Cheng Xiangyi Cui Yingjie Fan Deqing Fang Changbo Fu Mengting Fu Lisheng Geng Karl Giboni Linhui Gu Xuyuan Guo Ke Han Changda He Shengming He Di Huang Yan Huang Ran Huo Yanlin Huang Zhou Huang Xiangdong Ji Yonglin Ju Shuaijie Li Qing Lin Huaxuan Liu Jianglai Liu Xiaoying Lu Wenbo Ma Yugang Ma Yajun Mao Yue Meng Nasir Shaheed Kaixiang Ni Jinhua Ning Xuyang Ning Xiangxiang Ren Changsong Shang Guofang Shen Lin Si Andi Tan Anqing Wang Hongwei Wang Meng Wang QiuHong Wang Siguang Wang Wei Wang Xiuli Wang Zhou Wang Mengmeng Wu Shiyong Wu Weihao Wu Jingkai Xia Mengjiao Xiao Xiang Xiao Pengwei Xie Binbin Yan Yong Yang Chunxu Yu Hai-Bo Yu Jumin Yuan Ying Yuan Xinning Zeng Dan Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao Qibin Zheng Jifang Zhou Ning Zhou Xiaopeng Zhou 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,11:0
Fasting Blood Glucose but not TMAO is Associated with in-Stent Restenosis in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome显示文摘Background:The purpose of our study was to assess whether the occurrence of ISR might be associated with plasma TMAO levels in patients with ACS after DES implantation. Methods:This was a single center retrospective case-control study,in which 64 symptomatic patients with repeated coronary angiography after PCI and 15 patients with ISR were included in the ISR group, and 49 patients without ISR were included in the non-ISR group.High-performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry was used to measure plasma TMAO levels. Results:No significant differences were observed in plasma TMAO between the ISR and non-ISR groups.Plasma TMAO levels showed no significant correlation with ISR,but were significantly positively correlated with diabetes mellitus, serum HbA1c levels and serum creatinine levels;moreover, they were significantly negatively correlated with female sex.ISR was significantly positively correlated with diabetes mellitus, fasting blood glucose levels, the neutro-phil to lymphocyte ratio and syntax score;in addition,it was significantly negatively correlated with platelets.Logistic regression analysis indicated that fasting blood glucose was the only independent predictor of ISR.Conclusion:Plasma TMAO may not be associated with ISR and plaque burden in patients with ACS after DES im-plantation,whereas FBG may predict the development of ISR in these patients.Boda Zhou Yajun Xue Jie Zhou Shenjie Sun Tingting Lv Ou Zhang Yu Geng Guobin Miao Ping Zhang 2022Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2022,,1:0
Staged Revascularization for Chronic Total Occlusion in the Non-IRA in Patients with ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction Undergoing Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention:An Updated Systematic Review and Meta-analysis显示文摘Objectives:Meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the effect of staged revascularization with concomitant chronic total occlusion(CTO)in the non-infarct-associated artery(non-IRA)in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention(p-PCI).Methods:Various electronic databases were searched for studies published from inception to June,2021.The primary endpoint was all-cause death, and the secondary endpoint was a composite of major adverse cardiac events(MACEs).Odds ratios(ORs)were pooled with 95%confidence intervals(CIs)for dichotomous data. Results:Seven studies involving 1540 participants were included in thefinal analysis.Pooled analyses revealed that patients with successful staged revascularization for CTO in non-IRA with STEMI treated with p-PCI had overall lower all-cause death compared with the occluded CTO group(OR,0.46;95%CI,0.23–0.95),cardiac death(OR,0.43;95%CI,0.20–0.91),MACEs(OR,0.47;95%CI,0.32–0.69)and heart failure(OR,0.57;95%CI,0.37–0.89)com-pared with the occluded CTO group. No significant differences were observed between groups regarding myocardial infarction and repeated revascularization. Conclusions:Successful revascularization of CTO in the non-IRA was associated with better outcomes in patients with STEMI treated with p-PCI.Yu Geng Yintang Wang Lianfeng Liu Guobin Miao Ou Zhang Yajun Xue Ping Zhang 2022Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2022,6,2:0
