| 1 | Numerical simulation of bubble plumes in overlying water of gas hydrate in the cold seepage active region显示文摘To study the seismic responses produced by gas hydrate bubble plumes in the cold seepage active region, we constructed a plume water body model based on random medium theory and acoustic velocity model of bubble medium. The plume water body model was forward simulated by finite difference. Seismic records of single shot show the scattered waves produced by the plume. The scattered wave energy is strong where the plume exists. Where the scattered wave energy is stronger, the minimum of travel time is always above the plume, which has no relationship with the shot's position. Seismic records of shot gathers were processed by prestack time migration. The migration section shows that the scattered waves produced by plumes can be imaged distinctly with higher accuracy. | 2 | Identification and characterization of rice blast resistance gene Pid4 by a combination of transcriptomic profiling and genome analysis显示文摘Map-based cloning of plant disease resistance (R) genes is time-consuming. Here, we reported the isolation of blast R gene Pid4 using comparative transcriptomic profiling and genome-wide sequence analysis. Pid4 encodes a coiled-coil nucleotide-binding site leucine-rich repeat(CC-NBS-LRR) protein and is constitutively expressed at diverse developmental stages in the rice variety Digu. The Pid4 protein is localized in both the nucleus and cytoplasm. Introduction of Pid4 into susceptible rice cultivars confers race-specific resistance to leaf and neck blast. Amino acid sequence comparison and blast resistance spectrum tests showed that Pid4 is a novel R gene, different from the previously reported R genes located in the same gene cluster. A Pid4 Indel marker was developed to facilitate the identification of Pid4 in different rice varieties. | 4 | A real-time prediction method for tunnel boring machine cutter-head torque using bidirectional long short-term memory networks optimized by multi-algorithm显示文摘Based on data from the Jilin Water Diversion Tunnels from the Songhua River(China),an improved and real-time prediction method optimized by multi-algorithm for tunnel boring machine(TBM)cutter-head torque is presented.Firstly,a function excluding invalid and abnormal data is established to distinguish TBM operating state,and a feature selection method based on the SelectKBest algorithm is proposed.Accordingly,ten features that are most closely related to the cutter-head torque are selected as input variables,which,in descending order of influence,include the sum of motor torque,cutter-head power,sum of motor power,sum of motor current,advance rate,cutter-head pressure,total thrust force,penetration rate,cutter-head rotational velocity,and field penetration index.Secondly,a real-time cutterhead torque prediction model’s structure is developed,based on the bidirectional long short-term memory(BLSTM)network integrating the dropout algorithm to prevent overfitting.Then,an algorithm to optimize hyperparameters of model based on Bayesian and cross-validation is proposed.Early stopping and checkpoint algorithms are integrated to optimize the training process.Finally,a BLSTMbased real-time cutter-head torque prediction model is developed,which fully utilizes the previous time-series tunneling information.The mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)of the model in the verification section is 7.3%,implying that the presented model is suitable for real-time cutter-head torque prediction.Furthermore,an incremental learning method based on the above base model is introduced to improve the adaptability of the model during the TBM tunneling.Comparison of the prediction performance between the base and incremental learning models in the same tunneling section shows that:(1)the MAPE of the predicted results of the BLSTM-based real-time cutter-head torque prediction model remains below 10%,and both the coefficient of determination(R^(2))and correlation coefficient(r)between measured and predicted values exceed 0.95;and(2)the incremental learning method is suitable for realtime cutter-head torque prediction and can effectively improve the prediction accuracy and generalization capacity of the model during the excavation process. | Xing Huang Quantai Zhang Quansheng Liu Xuewei Liu Bin Liu Junjie Wang Xin Yin | 2022 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2022,14,3: | 3 |
| 5 | New FeNiCrMo(P, C, B) high-entropy bulk metallic glasses with unusual thermal stability and corrosion resistance显示文摘New Fe(20–35) Ni(20) Cr(20–30) Mo(5–15)(P(0.6) C(0.2) B(0.2))(20) bulk metallic glasses with excellent thermal stability,strength, and corrosion resistance have been developed through the high-entropy alloy design strategy.The high-entropy bulk metallic glasses(HE-BMGs) possess larger supercooled liquid regions of ~69 K,higher crystallization onset temperatures of ~852 K, larger undercoolings of ~109 K, and more sluggish crystallization process upon heating than the conventional metallic glass benefited from the high mixing entropy effect. The HE-BMGs also exhibit ultrahigh strength of ~3.4 GPa, Vickers hardness of ~1107,and superior corrosion resistance in acids and Na Cl solutions by formation of highly stable Cr-and Moenriched passive films. | 8 | Deletion of a Dna K protein gene causes seedling green-revertible albino by retarding chloroplast development in rice显示文摘Green-revertible albino mutants are important sources for studying chloroplast structure, chloroplast development, chlorophyll biosynthesis, and plant photosynthesis. In the present study, we characterized a greenrevertible albino mutant gra(k), which was obtained from the tissue-cultured rice Kitaake. The mutant gra(k) exhibited albino on its first three leaves. The leaf color started to turn green at the four-leaf stage. The chlorophyll contents were deeply reduced at the seedling stage, and the chloroplast development was delayed in gra(k). The greenrevertible albino(gra) phenotype of the mutant gra(k) was temperature dependent. The main agronomic traits,including plant height, tilling number per plant, seed setting rate, and thousand-grain weight, slightly decreased in gra(k) comparing to those in the wild-type Kitaake.Genetic analysis showed that the gra phenotype was controlled by a single recessive nucleic gene. By using 5,168 recessive F2individuals derived from the cross of gra(k) 9 Jodan, the locus of the gene Gra(k) was delimited in a DNA region of 200 kb between the makers B-31 and P11 on chromosome 5. Sequencing analysis indicated thatthe three functionally annotated genes, LOC_Os05g23700,LOC_Os05g23720, and LOC_Os05g23740, were all deleted in the 200 kb region in the mutant gra(k). Transgenic test revealed that the gra(k) plants over-expressing LOC_Os05g23740CDS were restored to normal green as the wild-type Kitaake.
