23D printing of multilayered scaffolds for rotator cuff tendon regeneration显示文摘Repairing massive rotator cuff tendon defects remains a challenge due to the high retear rate after surgical intervention.3D printing has emerged as a promising technique that enables the fabrication of engineered tissues with heterogeneous structures and mechanical properties,as well as controllable microenvironments for tendon regeneration.In this study,we developed a new strategy for rotator cuff tendon repair by combining a 3D printed scaffold of polylactic-co-glycolic acid(PLGA)with cell-laden collagen-fibrin hydrogels.We designed and fabricated two types of scaffolds:one featuring a separate layer-by-layer structure and another with a tri-layered structure as a whole.Uniaxial tensile tests showed that both types of scaffolds had improved mechanical properties compared to single-layered PLGA scaffolds.The printed scaffold with collagen-fibrin hydrogels effectively supported the growth,proliferation,and tenogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells.Subcutaneous implantation of the multilayered scaffolds demonstrated their excellent in vivo biocompatibility.This study demonstrates the feasibility of 3D printing multilayered scaffolds for application in rotator cuff tendon regeneration.Xiping Jiang Shaohua Wu Mitchell Kuss Yunfan Kong Wen Shi Philipp N.Streubel Tieshi Li Bin Duan 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,3:7

4Isolation and Identification of Squash Leaf Curl China Virus in Zucchini显示文摘[Objectives]In 2019,virus diseases occurred widely on zucchini planted in Shandong Province.The disease symptom was different from previous reports.This study aimed to identify the pathogen causing the zucchini virus disease.[Methods]Ten diseased zucchini leaves were collected in the field and used as materials for PCR and sequencing.[Results]PCR detection and sequencing showed that the nucleotide sequence of the amplified fragment had the highest identity with the squash isolate of squash leaf curl China virus(SLCCNV)(MW389919.1)in Guangdong Province.Primers were further designed for amplifying the full-length SLCCNV.The full-length DNA-A was 2730 bp(OM692270.1),and the full-length DNA-B was 2711 bp(OM692269.1).Through sequence alignment,it was found that the DNA-A sequence shared identity of 89.65%-99.42%with registered SLCCNV,and the identity with the SLCCNV-GDHY pumpkin isolate(MW389919.1)in Guangdong was the highest,at 99.42%.The DNA-B sequence was identical with registered SLCCNV in the range of 81.82%-97.29%,and the identity with the SLCCNV-GDHY pumpkin isolate(MW389918.1)in Guangdong,was the highest,at 97.29%.Therefore,it was speculated that SLCCNV is the pathogen of zucchini virus disease.Since the virus was first found on zucchini in Shandong,it was named SLCCNV-SD.[Conclusions]This study provides materials for the research on the spread of SLCCNV in China and the analysis of population genetic characteristics,as well as a reference for the prevention and control of the virus in zucchini.Huixian SHI Yimin GU Xingsheng LI Xiping SUN Yangdong GUO Xiaowei YUAN 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,5:1
5A study on effect of sonochemistry in a reverberation field显示文摘In this paper,an ultrasound with frequency of 815 kHz was used to re-search the sonochemical yield in a small-size reverberation field by the methodof fluorescent spectrum analysis.There are two characteristics on the effect ofsonochemistry in the reverberation field:First,the cavitation threshold wasabout 0.3W/cm^2(it was 0.7W/cm^2 in travelling field);Second,when thesound intensity was larger than the threshold,the sonochemical yield increasedas the intensity increased and increased rapidly after the intensity was at1.69-2.13W/cm^2,so that there was a upturned point in the curve of the result(which would tend to saturation in the travelling field).The theoretical analysisshows that the reason of the threshold decrease is that the sound energy densitybecomes high in the reverberation field,and the upturned point results from thedisturbance of the radiation pressure on the liquid surface.Therefore,by exper-iment and theory this paper shows that a reverberation field has to be built forthe higherWANG Shuangwei(Dep. of Physics. 7The mechanisms in treatment of acute pancreatitis by traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘As common acute abdomen, most of acute pancreatitis(AP) are self-restricted. Only a few patients may develop into worse state with local complications or organ failures, and finally neastic acute pancreatitis(NAP). With the change of people’s dietaries, cholelithiasis morbidity and popularization of wine in recent years, the number of AP patients has increased. Although people conducted enormous studies on pathogenesis of AP and brought forward many be valuable theories, yet the exact mechanism is still unclear by far. There are many therapies of AP which should be unexceptionally classified as operative therapy and non-operative therapy. With the increasing understanding of the disease in recent years, we found many defects of operation and good therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine in AP. Traditional Chinese medicine as an auxiliary therapy has been generally paid close attention in clinical practices. Traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure-house of China. This article summarizes the main mechanisms of AP treatment by traditional Chinese medicine and the progress of laboratory studies. 8Retrieval,reporting and methodological characteristics for systematic reviews/meta-analyses of animal models:a meta-epidemiological study显示文摘The study aimed to analyze the reporting and methodological quality of systematic reviews(SRs)/meta-analyses(MAs)of animal models to provide references for later studies and avoid the waste of medical resources.EMBASE and MEDLINE databases were searched from inception to November 2017,with no language restriction.Two reviewers selected inclusion dependently and extracted the basic characteristics.Review Manager 5.3,stata 12.0,and SPSS 21 software were used to conduct analyses.A total of 46 SRs/MAs were included.The results showed that the English databases with high retrieval frequency are PubMed/MEDLINE,EMBASE,and Web of Science.67.31%(31/46)of the articles reported the search strategy in the full text or the appendix.65.22%(30/46)reported the literature screening flow diagram,and only 19.57%(9/46)reported the number of works of literature retrieved in each database.60.87%(28/46)illustrated supplement retrieval.Through 2 subgroup analyses,it was found that there were no significant differences in the quality of reports of PRISMA items.But referring to the methodological quality or reporting of PRESS items,SCI was better than that of non-SCI,while there seemed a source of funding to have no significant impact on the methodological quality or the items of PRESS.The results of PRESS,AMSTAR 2,and PRISMA were correlated,and the correlation between PRISMA and AMSTAR 2 was strong.These results demonstrated that search strategies of animal model SRs/MAs are still not enough comprehensive,report specification and methodological quality still need to be ameliorated.To show users the scientificity and rigor of the study,future research should focus on these various guidelines like PRESS,PRISMA,and AMSTAR 2 checklists that have been issued,it can help to increase the value of research and improve the utilization of medical resources.SHUZHEN SHI MING LIU WENJUAN MA YA GAO LONG GE XIPING SHEN JIARUI WU JUNHUA ZHANG JINHUI TIAN 2019BIOCELL2019,43,4:0

10Cognitive control subprocess deficits and compensatory modulation mechanisms in patients with frontal lobe injury revealed by EEG markers:a basic study to guide brain stimulation显示文摘Background Frontal lobe injury(FLI)is related to cognitive control impairments,but the influences of FLI on the internal subprocesses of cognitive control remain unclear.Aims We sought to identify specific biomarkers for long-term dysfunction or compensatory modulation in different cognitive control subprocesses.Methods A retrospective case-control study was conducted.Event-related potentials(ERP),oscillations and functional connectivity were used to analyse electroencephalography(EEG)data from 12 patients with unilateral frontal lobe injury(UFLI),12 patients with bilateral frontal lobe injury(BFLI)and 26 healthy controls(HCs)during a Go/NoGo task,which included several subprocesses:perceptual processing,anticipatory preparation,conflict monitoring and response decision.Results Compared with the HC group,N2(the second negative peak in the averaged ERP waveform)latency,and frontal and parietal oscillations were decreased only in the BFLI group,whereas P3(the third positive peak in the averaged ERP waveform)amplitudes and sensorimotor oscillations were decreased in both patient groups.The functional connectivity of the four subprocesses was as follows:alpha connections of posterior networks in the BFLI group were lower than in the HC and UFLI groups,and these alpha connections were negatively correlated with neuropsychological tests.Theta connections of the dorsal frontoparietal network in the bilateral hemispheres of the BFLI group were lower than in the HC and UFLI groups,and these connections in the uninjured hemisphere of the UFLI group were higher than in the HC group,which were negatively correlated with behavioural performances.Delta and theta connections of the midfrontal-related networks in the BFLI group were lower than in the HC group.Theta across-network connections in the HC group were higher than in the BFLI group but lower than in the UFLI group.Conclusions The enhancement of low-frequency connections reflects compensatory mechanisms.In contrast,alpha connections are the opposite,therefore revealing more abnormal neural activity and less compensatory connectivity as the severity of injury increases.The nodes of the above networks may serve as stimulating targets for early treatment to restore corresponding functions.EEG biomarkers can measure neuromodulation effects in heterogeneous patients.Sinan Liu Chaoqun Shi Huanhuan Meng Yu Meng Xin Gong Xiping Chen Luyang Tao 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,4:0
