1Comparison of the effect and safety of Kuntai capsule and hormone replacement therapy in patients with perimenopausal syndrome:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the effectiveness and safety of Kuntai capsule and hormone replacement therapy in treatment of perimenopausal syndrome.METHODS: Articles were retrieved from the databases Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,Pub Med, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Science and Technology Journal Database, and Wanfang Database. Only randomized controlled trials were included; 15 trials involving1243 patients were identified from January 2005 to April 2015. A systemic review and Meta-analysis of publications was performed. The review was limit-ed to randomized controlled trials that compared Kuntai capsule and hormone replacement therapy to treat perimenopausal syndrome for at least 3months. The primary outcome assessed was the treatment efficacy at 3 months, including effective rate of Kupperman menopausal scores, Kupperman menopausal scores, and blood estradiol(E2) or blood follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) levels.Other outcomes assessed were safety or adverse events, such as gastrointestinal complaints, breast distending pain, or vaginal bleeding.RESULTS: Kupperman menopausal scores showed no significant difference in effective rate [odds ratio(OR): 1.05, 95% confidence intervals(CI): 0.71 to1.55] and changes in FSH level [mean difference(MD): 2.14, 95% CI:-2.36 to 6.65]. There was a significant statistical difference in Kupperman menopausal scores(MD:-1.14, 95% CI:-2.03 to-0.25)and changes in E2level(MD:-16.41, 95% CI:-18.83to-13.69). There were fewer adverse events in the Kuntai capsule group than in the hormone replacement therapy group(OR: = 0.35, 95% CI: 0.25 to0.48, P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: Compared with hormone replacement therapy, Kuntai capsule can improve perimenopausal symptoms and blood E2 levels, and reduce the incidence of adverse events.Du Xiaoqin Xu Lin Wang Lijun Heng Mingli Bu Huaien Hao Yu Tian Jinhui 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,3:28
2Investigation on thermophysical properties of reactive powder concrete显示文摘The thermophysical properties,such as thermal conductivity,thermal diffusivity,specific heat capacity and linear thermal expansion of reactive powder concrete(RPC) with different steel fiber volumetric fractions are investigated by means of high temperature tests. The thermophysical characteristics of RPC with different fiber volumes under different temperatures are analyzed and compared with those of the common high-strength concrete and high-performance concrete. The empirical relationships of thermophysical properties with temperature and fiber volume are identified. By the heat transfer and solid physics methods,the microscopic physical mechanism of heat transfer process and heat conduction properties of RPC are investigated,and the theoretical formulas of specific heat capacity and thermal expansion coefficient are derived,respectively. The effects of temperature and steel fibers on the specific heat capacity and the thermal expansion coefficient are quantitatively analyzed and the discriminant conditions are provided. 3Esophageal cancer:Epidemiology,risk factors and screening显示文摘More than 600,000 people are diagnosed with esophageal cancer(EC)every year globally,and the five-year survival rate of EC is less than 20%.Two common histological subtypes of EC,esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)and esophageal adenocarcinoma(EAC),have great geographical variations in incidence rates.About half of the world’s EC was diagnosed in China and a majority of which belong to ESCC.Globally,the overall incidence rate of EC is decreasing.In some high-risk Asian regions,such as China,the incidence rate of ESCC has generally declined,potentially due to economic growth and improvement of diet habits.In some European high-income countries and the United States,the decline is mainly attributed to the decrease in smoking and drinking.The risk factors of EC are not well understood,and the importance of environmental and genetic factors in the pathogenesis is also unclear.The incidence and mortality of advanced EC can be reduced through early diagnosis and screening.White light endoscopy is still the gold standard in the current screening technology.This article reviews the epidemiology,risk factors,and screening strategies of EC in recent years to help researchers determine the most effective management strategies to reduce the risk of EC.Jiang Li Jianguo Xu Yadi Zheng Ya Gao Siyi He He Li Kaiyong Zou Ni Li Jinhui Tian Wanqing Chen Jie He 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,5:12
4An investigation on micro pore structures and the vapor pressure mechanism of explosive spalling of RPC exposed to high temperature显示文摘Reactive powder concrete(RPC) is vulnerable to explosive spalling when exposed to high temperature.The characteristics of micro pore structure and vapor pressure of RPC are closely related to the thermal spalling.Applying mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) techniques,the authors probed the characteristics of micro pore structures of plain RPC200 when heated from 20-350℃.The pore characteristics such as specific pore volume,threshold pore size and most probable pore size varying with temperatures were investigated.A vapor pressure kit was developed to measure the vapor pressure and its variation inside RPC200 at various temperatures.A thin-wall spherical pore model was proposed to analyze the thermo-mechanical mechanism of spalling,by which the stresses varying with the vapor pressure q(T) and the characteristic size of wall(K) at any point of interest were determined.It is shown that the pore characteristics including specific pore volume,average pore size,threshold pore size and most probable pore size rise significantly with the increasing temperature.200℃ appears to be the threshold temperature above which the threshold pore size and the most probable pore size climb up dramatically.The increase in the specific pore volume results from the growth both in quantity and in volume of the transition pores and the capillary pores.The appearance of the explosive spalling in RPC200 is mainly attributed to being unable to form pathways in favor of releasing water steam in RPC and to the rapid accumulation of high vapor pressures as well.The thin-wall sphere domain where the vapor pressure governs the spalling is bounded through the pore model.JU Yang LIU HongBin TIAN KaiPei LIU JinHui WANG Li GE ZhiShun 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,2:8

6The EffectofLocally Im planted Com plexes of Adriam ycin-Hydroxyapatite Com plexes on Tum or —— Study of A NewAlternative Treatm entfor Hepatic Cancer显示文摘A new targeting anticancer system was prepared by using hydroxyapatite particles (2 mm in diameter) as carrier material and adriamycin as anticancer agent. The adsorption and release properties of the complexes were assayed by fluorometry in vivo and in vitro and the curative effect on W 256 sarcoma of rat was observed. The results showed that one particle of hydroxyapatite could adsorb approximately 0.08 mg adriamycin and they can maintain a steady and slow release of adriamycin from hydroxyapatite for one month. When hydroxyapatite adriamycin complexes were implanted into the liver of rat, liver adriamycin concentration at the implanted region was obviously higher than that achieved by injection of adriamycin solution. 12The expression of chemokine MCP-1 in colorectal carcinoma and its relationship to the infiltration of macrophage显示文摘Objective: To study the expression of MCP-1 in colorectal carcinoma and its relationship to the infiltration of the macrophage and to the biological behaviour of infiltration and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The expression of the MCP-1 mRNA was assessed in colorectal carcinoma collected freshly from surgical specimen by RT-PCR and the expres- sion of the MCP-1 protein was assessed in colorectal carcinoma collected from surgical specimen by immunohistochemistry. The tumor infiltrating cell and macrophage were also investigated by immunohistochemistry. Results: All the 12 specimens of colorectal carcinoma detected by RT-PCR expressed the MCP-1 mRNA; MCP-1 protein was detected in 90℅ (36/40) cases of the tumor; The expression of the MCP-1 protein in colorectal carcinoma correlated negatively with its state of metastasis and the Dukes’ stage. But a postive correlation was found between the expression of MCP-1 and the infiltrated macrophage. The stron- ger expression of MCP-1, the more number of the infiltrated macrophage.
