| 5 | Post-Orogenic Tectonic Evolution of the Jiangnan-Xuefeng Orogenic Belt:Insights from Multiple Geochronometric Dating of the Mufushan Massif,South China显示文摘The Mufushan massif, as continental intra-plate magmatites located in the Jiangnan-Xuefeng orogenic belt of the South China. The Mufushan massif constitutes the largest Mesozoic intrusive complex, intruded the Mesoproterozoic Lengjiaxi Formation. Multiple geochronometric dating was used to reconstruct their evolution from emplacement to exhumation. The Mufushan granitoids were emplaced at ~150 Ma(U-Pb zircon) as post-orogenic magmatites contributing to Triassic crustal thickening. Onset of regional extension at ~128 Ma(40Ar/39Ar white mica and biotite) manifests a tectonic regime switch. Intense exhumation prior to ~55 Ma was followed by slow denudation and peneplanation for the next 37 Ma(~55–18 Ma). Accelerated cooling since ~18 Ma may have been caused by a far-field effect of the collision between IndiaAsia Plate or the Pacific-Plate subduction. | 7 | Development of metal-organic framework(MOF) decorated graphene oxide/Mg Al-layered double hydroxide coating via microstructural optimization for anti-corrosion micro-arc oxidation coatings of magnesium alloy显示文摘An efcient and simple in-situ growth strategy has been discovered for the preparation of highly reproducible and continuous symbiotic ZIF-8-based anticorrosion coating by using graphene oxide(GO)/Mg AlNO3layered double hydroxides(G/LDHs) buffer layer as a new type of connecting carrier based on micro-arc oxide(MAO) coating of AZ31 magnesium alloy. The components of ZIF-8 were adsorbed and bounded to the surface of the G/LDHs buffer layer-modified substrates to promote the nucleation of ZIF-8,thus growing a phase-pure, uniform, and good symbiosis ZIF-8 membrane. ZIF-8 particles with different growth times compensate for the grain boundary defects of the G/LDHs coating precursor buffer layer to different degrees. The prepared ZIF-8-based coating has excellent stability and corrosion resistance. The results demonstrate that the G/LDHs buffer layer provides a new channel for the MOF-modified MAO substrate of AZ31 magnesium alloy. | 9 | Dietary fat intake and liver cancer risk: A prospective cohort study in Chinese women显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to determine whether dietary fat intake increased liver cancer risk in Chinese women from a prospective population-based cohort.Methods:A total of 72,704 Chinese women were followed up from the time of baseline recruitment(1996–2000)to the end of 2016.Dietary fat intake was calculated using a validated food frequency questionnaire.The Cox regression model was used to assess the hazard ratio(HR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)for dietary fat intake and liver cancer risk.Results:We identified 252 incident liver cancer cases out of 1,267,845 person-years during the overall follow-up time.Null associations,neither in quartiles nor per standard deviation(SD)increment,were detected between liver cancer risk and dietary total fat,fat subtypes and subtype ratios,and food sources.The HR(95%CI)of the 1-SD increment was 1.03(0.90–1.17)for total fat,1.06(0.93–1.20)for saturated fat,1.06(0.93–1.21)for monounsaturated fat,and 1.00(0.89–1.13)for polyunsaturated fat.Similar null associations were observed in stratification analyses according to body mass index and menopausal status.Conclusions:In our prospective cohort study,no significant association was observed in Chinese women between dietary fat and liver cancer risk,and in stratification and sensitivity analyses. | Xiaowei Ji Jing Wang Zhuoying Li Qiuming Shen Jiayi Tuo Jinghao Bi Yuting Tan Honglan Li Yongbing Xiang | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,3: | 1 |
| 10 | Plasma pyrolysis and gasification of carambola leaves using non-thermal arc plasma显示文摘Soil pollution(heavy metals and organic matter)is becoming more and more serious,phytoremediation has rapidly become a highly important method to deal with this problem.Therefore,the treatment and disposal of hyperaccumulators have been a topic of concern.In this paper,carambola leaves are selected as feedstock considering that carambola is a potential hyperaccumulator.A series of tests were performed to discuss 6 main influencing factors on total gas yield and metal fixing using a non-thermal arc plasma setup,to investigate the feasibility of plasma treatment of hyperaccumulator and provide a new method to utilize the harvested hyperaccumulator.The maximum total gas yield reached approximately 85%at an airflow rate of 3 L/min,the processing time of 7 min,discharge power of 29.95 W with the addition of water(water:sample=1:1).A reducing or inert carrier gas or the addition of some specific inorganic additives at optimal conditions were in favor of increasing metal fixing efficiency.However,the effects of these factors usually have two sides,and some factors may have conflicting effects between gas yield and metal fixing,and.It is necessary to optimize these factors for achieving the desired goal.The obtained solid products exhibit the potential to fix metals and act as activated carbon. | Xiaowei Cai Xiange Wei Jiao Wu Jiamin Ding Changming Du | 2020 | Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2020,2,3: | 1 |

| 12 | Global pattern and trends of colorectal cancer survival: a systematic review of population-based registration data显示文摘This review will describe the global patterns and trends of colorectal cancer survival,using data from the population-based studies or cancer registration.We performed a systematic search of China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data,PubMed,Web of Science,EMBASE,and SEER and collected all population-based survival studies of colorectal cancer(up to June 2020).Estimates of observed and relative survival rates of colorectal cancer by sex,period,and country were extracted from original studies to describe the temporal patterns and trends from the late 1990s to the early 21st century.Globally,5-year observed survival rates were higher in Seoul,Republic of Korea(1993–1997;56.8%and 54.3%for colon and rectum cancers,respectively),Zhejiang province(2005–2010;52.9%for colon cancer),Tianjin(1991–1999;52.5%for colon cancer),Shanghai(2002–2006;50.0%for rectum cancer)of China,and in Japan(1993–1996,59.6%for colorectal cancer).Five-year relative survival rates of colorectal cancer in the Republic of Korea(2010–2014),Queensland,Australia(2005–2012),and the USA(2005–2009)ranked at relatively higher positions compared to other countries.In general,colorectal cancer survival rates are improving over time worldwide.Sex disparities in survival rates were also observed in the colon,rectum,and colorectal cancers in most countries or regions.The poorest age-specific 5-year relative survival rate was observed in patients>75 years of age.In conclusion,over the past 3 decades,colorectal cancer survival has gradually improved.Geographic variations,sex differences,and age gradients were also observed globally in colorectal cancer survival.Further studies are therefore warranted to investigate the prognostic factors of colorectal cancer. | Yufei Jiang Huiyun Yuan Zhuoying Li Xiaowei Ji Qiuming Shen Jiayi Tuo Jinghao Bi Honglan Li Yongbing Xiang | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,2: | 1 |
| 13 | Flexible CuCo_(2)O_(4)@Ni-Co-S hybrids as electrode materials for high-performance energy storage devices显示文摘Rational design of electrode meterials with unique core-shell nanostructures is of great significance for improving the electrochemical performance of supercapacitors. In this work, we prepare several CuCo_(2)O_(4)@Ni-Co-S composite electrodes by a controllable hydrothermal and electrodeposition route. Onedimensional nanowires can shorten the ions transport path, while two-dimensional nanosheets expose many active sites. This enables three-dimensional structured composite with high electrochemical activity. The as-prepared heterostructured materials show a specific of 1048 C/g at 1 A/g. It still maintains 75.6% of initial capacity after 20000 cycles at 10 A/g. The device delivers an energy density of 79.2 Wh/kg when the power density reaches to 2280 W/kg. | 15 | Corrosion protection of magnesium alloys anode by cerium-based anodization coating in magnesium-ait battery显示文摘CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O(0.5,1.0,1.5,and 2.0 g/L)was added into an 8.0%NaCl electrolyte solution to investigate this electrolyte for use in a Mg-air battery.The effects of the amount of CeN_(3)O_(9)-6H_(2)O on the corrosion resistance of an AZ31 Mg alloy anode and battery performance were investigated using microstructure,electrochemical(dynamic potential polarization method and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy),and battery measurements.The re sults show that the addition of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O to the electrolyte leads to the formation of a Ce(OH)_(3)protective film on the surface of the AZ31 Mg alloy that improves the corrosion resistance of the Mg alloy.An increase in the concentration of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O results in a denser Ce(OH)_(3)protective film and decreases corrosion rate of the AZ31 Mg alloy.When the concentration of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O is 1.0 g/L,the corrosion rate of the Mg alloy is the lowest with a corrosion inhibition rate of70.4%.However,the corrosion rate increases due to the dissolution of the Ce(OH)_(3)protective film when the concentration of CeN_(3)O_(9)-6H_(2)O is greater than 1.0 g/L.Immersing the Mg alloy in the electrolyte solution containing CeN_(3)O_(9)-6H_(2)O for 50 h leads to the formation of the Ce(HO)_(3)protective film on its surface,which was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy of the AZ31 alloy.The Mg^(2+)charge transfer resistance increases by 69.5Ωfrom the equivalent circuit diagram,which improves the corrosion resistance of the Mg alloy.The discharge performance of CeN_(3)O_(9)·6H_(2)O improves according to a discharge test,and the discharge time increases by 40 min. | Xiang You Xiaowei Zhang Chuang Yu Yuanliang Chen Huiming Li Yanqing Hou Lin Tian Ni Yang Gang Xie | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,3: | 1 |
| 16 | Li-ion charge storage performance of wood-derived carbon fibers@MnO as a battery anode显示文摘Wood-derived carbons have been demonstrated to have large specific capacities as the anode materials of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). However, these carbons generally show low tap density and minor volumetric capacity because of high specific surface area and pore volume. Combination with metal oxide is one of the expected methods to alleviate the obstacles of wood-derived carbons. In this work, the composites of Mn O loaded wood-derived carbon fibers(CF@Mn O) were prepared via a simple and environmentally friendly method, showing decreased specific surface area due to the generation of Mn O nanoparticles on carbon fibers. Furthermore, the CF@Mn O compostites exhibit superior electrochemical performance as anode materials of LIBs, which show high reversible capacity in the range of 529-734 m Ah/g at a current density of 100 m A/g. The optimal CF@Mn O product(Mn O:carbon = 1:2) delivers reversible capacity of 734 and 265.3 m Ah/g at current density of 100 and 2000 m A/g, respectively. | 18 | Pore structure complexity and its significance to the petrophysical properties of coal measure gas reservoirs in Qinshui Basin,China显示文摘The pore structure of continuous unconven-tional reservoirs(CURs)in coal measures was investigated using different technologies for 29 samples(9 coal samples,9 shale samples,and 11 sandstone samples)from Qinshui Basin,China.Results show that coals have relatively high porosities and permeabilities ranging from 4.02%to 5.19%and 0.001 to 0.042 mD,respectively.Micropores(<2 nm)are well-developed in coals and contribute to the majority of pore volume(PV)and specific surface area(SSA).The porosities and permeabilities are between 1.19%-4.11%,and 0.0001-0.004 mD of sand-stones with a predominance of macropores(>50 nm).However,shales are characterized by poorly petrophysical properties with low porosity and permeability.Macropores and mesopores(2-50 nm)are well-developed in shales compared with micropores.For coals,abundant organic matters are expected to promote the development of micropores,and clay minerals significantly control the performance of mesopores.For shales and sandstones,micropores are mainly observed in organic matters,whereas clay minerals are the important contributor to mesopores.Moreover,micropore SSA significantly deter-mines the adsorption capacity of CURs and sandstones have the best pore connectivity.The permeability of CURs is positively associated with the macropore PV since macropores serve as the main flow paths for gas seepage.Additionally,we also proposed that effective porosity has a significant effect on the permeability of CURs.The findings of this study could enhance the understanding of the multiscale pore structure of CURs and provide insights into the mechanisms that control gas storage,transport,and subsequent co-production for continuous unconventional natural gas(CUNG)in the Qinshui Basin and other coal-bearing basins worldwide. | Xiaowei HOU Yang WANG Yanming ZHU Jie XIANG | 2021 | Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,4: | 0 |
| 19 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.
