| 1 | Characterization and Fine Mapping of a Novel Rice Narrow Leaf Mutant nal9显示文摘A narrow leaf mutant was isolated from transgenic rice(Oryza sativa L.)lines carrying a T-DNA insertion.The mutant is characterized by narrow leaves during its whole growth period,and was named nal9(narrow leaf 9).The mutant also has other phenotypes,such as light green leaves at the seedling stage,reduced plant height,a small panicle and increased tillering.Genetic analysis revealed that the mutation is controlled by a single recessive gene.A hygromycin resistance assay showed that the mutation was not caused by T-DNA insertion,so a map-based cloning strategy was employed to isolate the nal9 gene.The mutant individuals from the F2generations of a cross between the nal9 mutant and Longtepu were used for mapping.With 24 F2mutants,the nal9 gene was preliminarily mapped near the marker RM156 on the chromosome 3.New INDEL markers were then designed based on the sequence differences between japonica and indica at the region near RM156.The nal9 gene was fnally located in a 69.3 kb region between the markers V239B and V239G within BAC OJ1212_C05 by chromosome walking.Sequence and expression analysis showed that an ATP-dependent Clp protease proteolytic subunit gene(ClpP)was most likely to be the nal9 gene.Furthermore,the nal9 mutation was rescued by transformation of the ClpP cDNA driven by the 35S promoter.Accordingly,the ClpP gene was identifed as the NAL9 gene.Our results provide a basis for functional studies of NAL9 in future work. | Wei Li Chao Wu Guocheng Hu Li Xing Wenjing Qian Huamin Si Zongxiu Sun Xingchun Wang Yaping Fu Wenzhen Liu | 2013 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2013,55,11: | 8 |

The mathematical models describing the volume changes during the solidification ofspheroidal graphite cast iron are established based on the models of solidification kinetics. The shrinkage cavityformation of T-shaped SG iron castings is calculated with MM method. The calculated results are compared with theexperimental results. | 4 | High-Performance Solid-State Supercapacitors Fabricated by Pencil Drawing and Polypyrrole Depositing on Paper Substrate显示文摘A solid-state powerful supercapacitor(SC) is fabricated with a substrate of Xerox paper. Its current collector based on a foldable electronic circuit is developed by simply pencil drawing. Thin graphite sheets on paper provide effective channels for electron transmission with a low resistance of 95 X sq-1. The conductive organic material of polypyrrole coated on thin graphite sheets acts as the electrode material of the device. The as-fabricated SC exhibits a high specific capacitance of 52.9 F cm-3at a scan rate of 1 m V s-1. An energy storage unit fabricated by three full-charged series SCs can drive a commercial light-emitting diode robustly. | 5 | In-flight observations of electromagnetic interferences emitted by satellite显示文摘Using the data from STAFF/TC-1, this paper for the first time analyzes the electromagnetic interferences of Chinese scientific satellite. The electromagnetic interference of satellite exists mainly below 30 Hz, but can extend to 190 Hz with an obviously decreasing power spectral density. The electromagnetic interferences at frequencies below 190 Hz have good correlation with the solar aspect angle. The electromagnetic interferences at frequencies between 190 and 830 Hz have also correlation with solar as-pect angle. However, the electromagnetic interferences at frequencies above 830 Hz have no correlation with the solar aspect angle. The correlation coefficient between solar aspect angel and electromagnetic interferences is around 0.90. The larger the solar aspect angle, the stronger the satellite electromagnetic interference. When the solar aspect angle increases from 90.6° to 93.6°, the electromagnetic interferences at frequencies <10 Hz increase by 8 times and those at frequencies 190―830 Hz increase by 60%. This close association of electromagnetic interferences with the solar aspect angle indicates that the solar aspect angle is the main factor to determine the electromagnetic interferences. The electromagnetic interferences of satellite in sunlight are larger than those in eclipse. The electro-magnetic interference produced by solar panel occupies about 87% in the low frequency band (<100 Hz) and 94% in the high frequency band (>100 Hz) of the total electromagnetic interference produced by satellite. | 8 | A potent PGK1 antagonist reveals PGK1 regulates the production of IL-1βand IL-6显示文摘Glycolytic metabolism enzymes have been implicated in the immunometabolism field through changes in metabolic status. PGK1 is a catalytic enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. Here, we set up a high-throughput screen platform to identify PGK1 inhibitors. DC-PGKI is an ATPcompetitive inhibitor of PGK1 with an affinity of Kd= 99.08 nmol/L. DC-PGKI stabilizes PGK1in vitro and in vivo, and suppresses both glycolytic activity and the kinase function of PGK1. In addition,DC-PGKI unveils that PGK1 regulates production of IL-1β and IL-6 in LPS-stimulated macrophages.Mechanistically, inhibition of PGK1 with DC-PGKI results in NRF2(nuclear factor-erythroid factor 2-related factor 2, NFE2L2) accumulation, then NRF2 translocates to the nucleus and binds to the proximity region of Il-1β and Il-6 genes, and inhibits LPS-induced expression of these genes. DC-PGKI ameliorates colitis in the dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis mouse model. | 9 | Deoxyribozymes inhibit the expression of periodl gene in vitro显示文摘To investigate the effect of two deoxyribozymes targeting period1 (per1) mRNA in vitro for exploring a novel gene therapy approach about circadian rhythm diseases, the specific deoxyribozymes targeting per1 were designed and synthesized chemically following MFold analysis according to its mRNA secondary structure. per1 RNA fragments were prepared by in vitro transcription of pcDNA3.1(+)-per1164:256. The cleavage reactions containing deoxyribozymes and per1 RNA fragments were performed under certain conditions. With the transfection tech- nique mediated by LipofectAMINETM, pcDNA3-per1 and DRz164 or DRz256 were introduced into NIH3T3 cells. The effects of deoxyribozymes on per1 were studied by reverse tran- script-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and flow cytometry (FCM). When deoxyribozymes and RNA transcripts were incubated under the adopted conditions at 37℃ for 2 h, about 63% of per1164:256 RNA transcripts were cleaved by DRz164 and about 50.5% by DRz256. After co- transfecting pcDNA3-per1 with DRz164 or DRz256, the expression of per1 mRNA was de- creased, as indicated by RT-PCR semi-quantity analysis. | 18 | Effect of nitrogen and phosphorus application on soil nitrogen morphological characteristics and grain yield of oil flax显示文摘In order to identify effects of nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)on soil nitrogen morphological characteristics and grain yield of oil flax,a two-factor experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design in typical semi-arid and hilly-gully area of Loess Plateau with 3 replicates in 2013 and 2014.Two levels of N application included 150 kg/hm2(N2)and 75 kg/hm2(N1).P application included 150 kg P2 O5/hm2(P2)and 75 kg P2 O5/hm2(P1).Temporal and spatial variation of soil nitrate nitrogen(NO3-N)and ammonium nitrogen(NH4+-N)contents in 0-60 cm soil layer,and relationship between soil NO3-N accumulation(SNA)and grain yield of oil flax were analyzed.Results showed that SNA increased with evaluated N application rate in different soil layers(0-20 cm,20-40 cm and 40-60 cm).With the increased P application,SNA increased at N1 level but decreased at N2 level.SNA under N2 P1 treatment increased by 73.33%in 2013 and 74.97%in 2014 respectively,compared with control treatment(CK)at maturity stage.Grain yield of oil flax also increased by 44.27%in 2013 and56.55%in 2014,compared with CK under the same treatment.Correlation analysis showed that SNA in different soil layers were respectively positively correlated with grain yield.In conclusion,this research suggested that the optimal fertilizer application rate was 150 kg N/hm2 and 75 kg P2 O5/hm2 in the Northwest of China. | Dong Liu Zhengjun Cui Bin Yan Yuhong Gao Bin Wu Wenzhen Li Junyi Niu | 2020 | Oil Crop Science2020,5,2: | 0 |
