Indosinian isotope ages of plutons and deposits in southwestern Miaoershan-Yuechengling,northeastern Guangxi and implications on Indosinian mineralization in South China显示文摘The Miaoershan-Yuechengling complex pluton is the largest granitoid complex in the western Nanling metallogenic belt with a surface exposure of >3000 km2.The complex pluton is composed of an early stage granitoid batholith and late stage small intrusions. The early stage batholith contains mainly medium-grained porphyritic mica granite and porphyritic monzonite granite, whereas the late stage intrusions are composed of muscovite granite porphyry and muscovite monzonitic granite. There are many W-Sn-Mo-Pb-Zn-Cu ores in the contact zone between the batholith and strata, forming an ore-rich belt around the batholith.Based on zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages, the southwestern part of the early stage batholith formed at 228.7 ± 4.1 Ma(MSWD = 2.49),with slightly earlier magmatic activity at 243.0 ± 5.8 Ma(MSWD = 2.62).The Yuntoujie muscovite granite was associated with W-Mo mineralization and has a zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb age of 216.8 ± 4.9 Ma(MSWD = 1.44).The Re-Os isochron age of molybdenite from the Yuntoujie W-Mo ore was 216.8 ± 7.5 Ma(MSWD = 11.3).Our new isotope data suggest that the late stage intrusive stocks from the southwestern Miaoershan-Yuechengling batholith were closely associated with W-Mo mineralization from the Indosinian period. These new results together with previous isotope data, suggest that South China underwent not only the well-known Yanshanian mineralization event, but also a widespread Indosinian metallogenic event during the Mesozoic period. Therefore,South China has a greater potential for Indosinian mineralization than previously thought such that more attention should be given to the Indosinian ore prospecting in South China. | WU Jing LIANG HuaYing HUANG WenTing WANG ChunLong SUN WeiDong SUN YaLi LI Jing MO JiHai WANG XiuZhang | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,9: | 28

CAS FGOALS-f3-L Model Datasets for CMIP6 Historical Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project Simulation显示文摘The outputs of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) Flexible Global Ocean–Atmosphere–Land System(FGOALS-f3-L) model for the baseline experiment of the Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project simulation in the Diagnostic,Evaluation and Characterization of Klima common experiments of phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP6) are described in this paper. The CAS FGOALS-f3-L model, experiment settings, and outputs are all given. In total, there are three ensemble experiments over the period 1979–2014, which are performed with different initial states. The model outputs contain a total of 37 variables and include the required three-hourly mean, six-hourly transient, daily and monthly mean datasets. The baseline performances of the model are validated at different time scales. The preliminary evaluation suggests that the CAS FGOALS-f3-L model can capture the basic patterns of atmospheric circulation and precipitation well, including the propagation of the Madden–Julian Oscillation, activities of tropical cyclones, and the characterization of extreme precipitation. These datasets contribute to the benchmark of current model behaviors for the desired continuity of CMIP. | Bian HE Qing BAO Xiaocong WANG Linjiong ZHOU Xiaofei WU Yimin LIU Guoxiong WU Kangjun CHEN Sicheng HE Wenting HU Jiandong LI Jinxiao LI Guokui NIAN Lei WANG Jing YANG Minghua ZHANG Xiaoqi ZHANG | 2019 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2019,36,8: | 12
Dietary supplementation with Clostridium butyricum improves growth performance of broilers by regulating intestinal microbiota and mucosal epithelial cells显示文摘Clostridium butyricum has been widely considered an antibiotic substitute in recent years. It can promote growth performance, improve the immune response and enhance the intestinal barrier function of the host.In the present study,1-d-old Arbor Acres(AA)broilers were fed C.butyricum(1×109 cfu/kg)for 28 d.The transcriptomic characteristics of epithelial cells of the cecal mucosa were determined by RNA-sequence,and the cecal microbiota composition was explored by 16 S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing. The changes in the intestinal mucosa of broilers were then analyzed by tissue staining.Gene Ontology(GO)annotations identified substance transport and processes and pathways that might participate in intestinal development and cell viability.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes are involved in numerous pathways related to amino acid and vitamin metabolism and antioxidant and defensive functions, among others. The relative expression of some genes associated with intestinal barrier function(claudins 2,15,19,and 23,tight junction proteins 1,2,and 3 and mucin 1)was significantly increased in the treatment group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Moreover,the proportion of Firmicutes was higher in the C.butyricum-treated group, whereas the proportion of Proteobacteria was higher in the control group. At the genus level, the relative abundances of Butyricicoccus and Lactobacillus, among other bacteria, were increased after C.butyricum supplementation. The tissue staining analysis showed that the cecal mucosa of broilers was significantly ameliorated after the addition of C.butyricum(P<0.05 or P<0.01).These results showed that dietary supplementation with C.butyricum can enhance the antioxidant capacity, mucosal barrier function, and stabilize the cecal microbiota, resulting in improving the growth performance. | Laipeng Xu Xiangli Sun Xianhua Wan Keke Li Fuchun Jian Wenting Li Ruirui Jiang Ruili Han Hong Li Xiangtao Kang Yanbin Wang | 2021 | Animal Nutrition2021,,4: | 12

An Epidemic of Hepatitis A--Liaoning Province,2020显示文摘What is already known about this topic?Hepatitis A(HA)is caused by acute hepatitis A virus(HAV)infection and was once very common in China.Following the 2008 introduction of the HA vaccine into the national Expanded Program on Immunization(EPI),the incidence of reported HA in China decreased markedly. However,HA epidemics still occur in Liaoning Province every 3–5 years, although with far fewer cases than in the pre-HA-vaccination era. What is added by this report?Between January 1,2020 and March 18,2020,the number of reported cases of HA in Dalian and Dandong cities of Liaoning Province increased significantly compared with the same period in previous years. All cases were sporadic, and cases were seen in nearly every township. The increase in HA occurred one month after local fresh seafood became available with most cases being among adults.A casecontrol study showed that consuming raw or undercooked seafood, clams, snapping shrimp, and oysters were significantly associated with the increase in HA.What are the implications for public health practices?Strengthening health education for residents to avoid consumption of raw seafood and encouraging HAV vaccination of adults aged 20 to 54 years are important to prevent periodic HAV endemic outbreaks.Further multisectoral cooperation must be emphasized on HA surveillance in areas with a high prevalence of HA. | Jing Sun Yuanqiu Li Xing Fang Yan Wang Yinan Han Yang Liu Jingyuan Cao Wenting Zhou Hui Zheng Wenqing Yao | 2020 | China CDC weekly2020,2,30: | 7

Characterization of the soybean Gm ALMT family genes and the function of Gm ALMT5 in response to phosphate starvation显示文摘A potential mechanism to enhance utilization of sparingly soluble forms of phosphorus(P) is the root secretion of malate, which is mainly mediated by the ALMT gene family in plants. In this study, a total of 34 Gm ALMT genes were identified in the soybean genome. Expression patterns diverged considerably among Gm ALMTs in response to phosphate(Pi) starvation in leaves, roots and flowers, with expression altered by P availability in 26 of the 34 Gm ALMTs. One root-specific Gm ALMT whose expression was significantly enhanced by Pi-starvation,Gm ALMT_5, was studied in more detail to determine its possible role in soybean P nutrition. Analysis of Gm ALMT_5 tissue expression patterns, subcellular localization, and malate exudation from transgenic soybean hairy rootsoverexpressing Gm ALMT_5, demonstrated that Gm ALMT_5 is a plasma membrane protein that mediates malate efflux from roots. Furthermore, both growth and P content of transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing Gm ALMT_5 were significantly increased when sparingly soluble Ca-P was used as the external P source. Taken together, these results indicate that members of the soybean Gm ALMT gene family exhibit diverse responses to Pi starvation. One member of this family, Gm ALMT_5, might contribute to soybean P efficiency by enhancing utilization of sparingly soluble P sources under P limited conditions. | Wenting Peng Weiwei Wu Junchu Peng Jiaojiao Li Yan Lin Yanan Wang Jiang Tian Lili Sun Cuiyue Liang Hong Liao | 2018 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2018,60,3: | 7
Effects of Sini San used alone and in combination with fluoxetine on central and peripheral 5-HT levels in a rat model of depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Sini San and fluoxetine on the levels of central and peripheral 5-HT in a rat model of depression, and provide new insight into the treatment of depression with integrated Chinese-Western Medicine.METHODS: A rat model of depression was established by chronic mild stress(CMS). Model rats received either Sini San, fluoxetine, a combination of the two drugs, or no drug treatment. Healthy naive rats were used as controls. Open field and sucrose preference tests were used to assess depression-like behavior. ELISA and immunohistochemistry were used to determine central and peripheral levels of 5-HT.RESULTS: In the group with no drug treatment, central 5-HT expression decreased while peripheral5-HT concentrations increased as CMS continued.Four weeks after CMS, Sini San alone was less effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone or in combination with Sini San,but combined use was more effective than fluoxetine alone. Eight weeks after CMS, Sini San alone or in combination with fluoxetine was more effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone. Furthermore Sini San and fluoxetine used alone or in combination notably increased central 5-HT expression and decreased peripheral 5-HT levels in the rat model.CONCLUSION:The results of the present study indicate that there is a synergistic action between the two medicines in the treatment of depression. Sini San exhibited a relatively long lag before its effects were observed; however, by eight weeks the Traditional Chinese Medicine appeared at least as effective as fluoxetine. We suggest that Sini San can replace fluoxetine in the later stages of depression treatment to minimize side effects observed with long-term fluoxetine administration. | Yubo Li Yuxiu Sun Xueling Ma Xiaoxing Xue Wenting Zhang Zhiqian Wu Yulin Ouyang Jianxin Chen Weiming Wang Shuzhen Guo Wei Wang | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,5: | 6
Core-shell fibrous vascular grafts with the nitric oxide releasing property显示文摘Small-diameter vascular grafts with the nitric oxide(NO) releasing property were designed and prepared.Diazeniumdiolated N,N'-dibutyl-1,6-hexanediamine(DBHD/N2O2) was first synthesized as the NO donor and doped into the biocompatible polymer poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL).The fibrous vascular grafts were fabricated by electrospinning.Despite the reduced platelet adhesion observed on the NO releasing grafts, the cytotoxicity and burst release were apparent, especially at a higher loading level of the NO donor. In order to solve this problem,core-shell structured nanofibers,in which PCL or gelatin is the shell and PCL doped with the NO donor is the core, were fabricated via coaxial electrospinning. The core-shell structure made the NO release more steady and controllable, and the cell compatibility was improved. | ZHANG Lei,WANG Kai,ZHAO Qiang,ZHENG WenTing,WANG ZhiHong,WANG ShuFang & KONG DeLing Key Laboratory of Bioactive Materials,Ministry of Education College of Life Science,Nankai University,Tianjin 300071,China | 2010 | Science China Chemistry2010,53,3: | 6
Consumer acceptability and sensory profiling of sesame oils obtained from different processes显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the effect of oil processing technologies on the sensory qualities of sesame oils and to identify drivers of liking.Using a check-all-that-apply(CATA)question and a hedonic scale,150 consumers evaluated the acceptability and sensory characteristics of 5 sesame oil samples including an aqueous extracted oil(S1),a cold-pressed oil(S2),two batches of screw-pressed oils(S3 and S5)and one crude sesame oil(S4).Solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-olfactometry-mass spectrometry(SPME-GC-O-MS)was used to identify odour-active compounds. The results showed that roasting, extraction techniques and filtration process influenced sensory perception and the acceptability of sesame oils.Consumers liked roasted sesame oils more than the cold-pressed sesame oil and liked the aqueous extracted sesame oil the most.Sensory attributes'sweet smell','mellow','roasted','nutty','persistent','high-intense flavour'and'cooked sesame seed flavour'were drivers of liking, while'green','raw sesame seed','rancid','woody'and'fishy'were drivers of disliking.'Burnt'flavour was liked by some while disliked by others.Pyrazines contributed to roasted flavour;2-acetylpyrrole,acetophenone and furfural contributed to nutty flavour;2-pentyl-furan,5-methyl-2-furancarboxaldehyde,and 2-phenyl-2-butenal contributed to sweet odour in the roasted sesame seeds.Nonanal,hexanal,1-hexanol and ocimene were responsible for the'green'flavour perceived in the cold-pressed oil. This study provides valuable information for sesame manufacturers on how to improve the sensory qualities of sesame oils through process manipulation to meet the needs of diverse consumers. | Wenting Yin Maradza Washington Xueting Ma Xi Yang Aliu Lu Rui Shi Renyong Zhao Xuede Wang | 2020 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2020,3,2: | 5
Abrogation of USP7 is an alternative strategy to downregulate PD-L1 and sensitize gastric cancer cells to T cells killing显示文摘Targeting immune checkpoints such as programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)and programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1)have been approved for treating melanoma, gastric cancer(GC)and bladder cancer with clinical benefit.Nevertheless, many patients failed to respond to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 treatment,so it is necessary to seek an alternative strategy for traditional PD-1/PD-L1 targeting immunotherapy. Here with the data from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)and our in-house tissue library,PD-L1 expression was found to be positively correlated with the expression of ubiquitin-specific processing protease 7(USP7)in GC.Furthermore,USP7 directly interacted with PD-L1 in order to stabilize it,Gastric cancer;Immunosuppression;Cancer biologywhile abrogation of USP7 attenuated PD-L1/PD-1 interaction and sensitized cancer cells to T cell killing in vitro and in vivo.Besides,USP7 inhibitor suppressed GC cells proliferation by stabilizing P53 in vitro and in vivo.Collectively, our findings indicate that in addition to inhibiting cancer cells proliferation,USP7 inhibitor can also downregulate PD-L1 expression to enhance anti-tumor immune response simultaneously.Hence, these data posit USP7 inhibitor as an anti-proliferation agent as well as a novel therapeutic agent in PD-L1/PD-1 blockade strategy that can promote the immune response of the tumor. | Zhiru Wang Wenting Kang Ouwen Li Fengyu Qi Junwei Wang Yinghua You Pengxing He Zhenhe Suo Yichao Zheng Hong-Min Liu | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,3: | 5
Possible mechanisms underlying treatment of Alzheimer’s disease with Traditional Chinese Medicine: active components, potential targets and synthetic pathways of Bulao Elixir显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To elucidate the mechanisms underlying the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease(AD) with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), by examining the active components, potential targets and synthetic pathways of Bulao Elixir(BLE).METHODS: The Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion(ADME)/Toxicology(T) calculation was used to screen the active components of Bulao Elixir. Based on the TCM Systems Pharmacology Analysis Platform(TCMSP database) and a text mining tool(GoPubMed database), we predicted and screened the active components of Bulao Elixir and its therapeutic targets for AD. Using the Database for Annotation, Visualization and Integrated Discovery(DAVID), we obtained the targets for AD. Cytoscape software was used to establish a network map of the active component-target and target-pathway of Bulao Elixir. Gene function, related biological processes and signaling pathways were analyzed using the DAVID database.RESULTS: Twelve active components were selected from 196 components of Bulao Elixir. Among 2209 targets, 102 effective targets were selected, and 30 important targets were identified via matching with the disease targets. After further analysis, 14 core targets were identified. Enrichment analysis revealed that most of these important targets were involved in multiple biological processes, including apoptosis, inflammatory reactions, and cell regulation cycles. The synthetic pathways for AD treatment were identified after analyzing and confirming the relevant pathways, providing potentially useful information for diagnosis and treatment methods for AD.CONCLUSION: The current study elucidated the potential treatment mechanisms of Bulao Elixir in AD using network pharmacology, providing a foundation for further clarification of its treatment targets. | Ren Beida Cheng Fafeng Wang Xueqian Wan Yuxiang Ji Wenting Du Xin Zhang Shuang Liu Shilling Ma Chongyang Xiong Yiliang Hao Gaoting Wang Qingguo | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,3: | 4

Evaluating Common Land Model Energy Fluxes Using FLUXNET Data显示文摘Given the crucial role of land surface processes in global and regional climates, there is a pressing need to test and verify the performance of land surface models via comparisons to observations. In this study, the eddy covariance measurements from 20 FLUXNET sites spanning more than 100 site-years were utilized to evaluate the performance of the Common Land Model(Co LM) over different vegetation types in various climate zones. A decomposition method was employed to separate both the observed and simulated energy fluxes, i.e., the sensible heat flux, latent heat flux, net radiation, and ground heat flux, at three timescales ranging from stepwise(30 min) to monthly. A comparison between the simulations and observations indicated that Co LM produced satisfactory simulations of all four energy fluxes, although the different indexes did not exhibit consistent results among the different fluxes. A strong agreement between the simulations and observations was found for the seasonal cycles at the 20 sites, whereas Co LM underestimated the latent heat flux at the sites with distinct dry and wet seasons, which might be associated with its weakness in simulating soil water during the dry season. Co LM cannot explicitly simulate the midday depression of leaf gas exchange, which may explain why Co LM also has a maximum diurnal bias at noon in the summer. Of the eight selected vegetation types analyzed, Co LM performs best for evergreen broadleaf forests and worst for croplands and wetlands. | Xiangxiang ZHANG Yongjiu DAI Hongzhi CUI Robert E.DICKINSON Siguang ZHU Nan WEI Binyan YAN Hua YUAN Wei SHANGGUAN Lili WANG Wenting FU | 2017 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2017,34,9: | 4
Dendrocalamus latiflorus and its component rutin exhibit glucose-lowering activities by inhibiting hepatic glucose production via AKT activation显示文摘The potential medicinal value of Ma bamboo(Dendrocalamus latiflorus), one of the most popular and economically important bamboo species in China, has been underestimated. In the present study, we found that D. latiflorus leaf extract(DLE) reduced fasting blood glucose levels, body weight, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with low liver toxicity in db/db mice. In addition, gene expression profiling was performed and pathway enrichment analysis showed that DLE affected metabolic pathways.Importantly, DLE activated the AKT signaling pathway and reduced glucose production by downregulating glucose-6-phosphatase(G6 PC) and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1(PCK1) expression. Moreover, network pharmacology analysis identified rutin as an active component in DLE through targeting insulin growth factor 1 receptor(IGF1 R), an upstream signaling transducer of AKT. Due to its hypoglycemic effects and low toxicity, DLE may be considered an adjuvant treatment option for type 2 diabetes patients. | Kun Luo Wenting Huang Liansheng Qiao Xiaoling Zhang Di Yan Zhiyu Ning Chengmei Ma Honglei Dang Dong Wang Hongyan Guo Lan Xie Jing Cheng | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,5: | 4
Fish transplantation and stress-related biomarkers as useful tools for assessing water quality显示文摘The active biomonitoring (ABM) approach was investigated using species of indigenous (from a pristine site) and transplanted (to a polluted area) fish Carassius auratus as an indicator organism of water/sediment pollution in Taihu Lake, a highly urbanized and industrialized area. The biotransformation enzymes 7-ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase (EROD), reduced glutathione (GSH) content, catalase activities (CAT) and lipoperoxidation (as MDA) in liver were determined as stress-related biomarkers during the field exposure period. At the same time, the contents of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and heavy metals in the surface sediments of biomonitoring sites were also determined. The results indicate that the in situ exposed organisms were stressed. The marked increases of EROD, GSH, CAT and MDA in transplanted animals, suggested their potential application as biomarkers in pollution monitoring. Integrated biomarker response (IBR) was used to evaluate an integrated impact of toxicants from different polluted sites. | Yong Ji Guanghua Lu Chao Wang Wenting Song Hao Wu | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,11: | 4

A genetically encoded ratiometric calcium sensor enables quantitative measurement of the local calcium microdomain in the endoplasmic reticulum显示文摘The local Ca^2+ release from the heterogeneously distributed endoplasmic reticulum (ER) calcium store has a critical role in calcium homeostasis and cellular function. However;single fluorescent proteinbased ER calcium probes experience challenges in quantifying the ER calcium store in differing live cells, and intensity-based measurements make it difficult to detect local calcium microdomains in the ER. Here, we developed a genetically encoded ratiometric ER calcium indicator [GCEPIA1-SNAPer] that can detect the real-time ER calcium store and local calcium microdomains in live cells. GCEPIA1-SNAPer was located in the lumen of the ER and showed a linear;reversible and rapid response to changes in the ER calcium store. The GCEPIA1-SNAPer probe effectively monitored the depletion of the ER calcium store by TG or starvation treatment, and through 让s use we identified heterogeneously distributed calcium microdomains in the ER which were correlated w让h the distribution of STIM1 clusters upon ER calcium store depletion. Lastly, GCEPIA1-SNAPer can be used to detect the ER calcium store by high-throughput flow cytometry and confers the ability to study the function of calcium microdomains of the ER. | Chen Luo Huiyu Wang Qi Liu Wenting He Lin Yuan Pingyong Xu | 2019 | Biophysics Reports2019,5,1: | 3
