| 1 | Effects of Sini San used alone and in combination with fluoxetine on central and peripheral 5-HT levels in a rat model of depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Sini San and fluoxetine on the levels of central and peripheral 5-HT in a rat model of depression, and provide new insight into the treatment of depression with integrated Chinese-Western Medicine.METHODS: A rat model of depression was established by chronic mild stress(CMS). Model rats received either Sini San, fluoxetine, a combination of the two drugs, or no drug treatment. Healthy naive rats were used as controls. Open field and sucrose preference tests were used to assess depression-like behavior. ELISA and immunohistochemistry were used to determine central and peripheral levels of 5-HT.RESULTS: In the group with no drug treatment,central 5-HT expression decreased while peripheral5-HT concentrations increased as CMS continued.Four weeks after CMS, Sini San alone was less effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone or in combination with Sini San,but combined use was more effective than fluoxetine alone. Eight weeks after CMS, Sini San alone or in combination with fluoxetine was more effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone. Furthermore Sini San and fluoxetine used alone or in combination notably increased central 5-HT expression and decreased peripheral 5-HT levels in the rat model.CONCLUSION:The results of the present study indicate that there is a synergistic action between the two medicines in the treatment of depression. Sini San exhibited a relatively long lag before its effects were observed; however, by eight weeks the Traditional Chinese Medicine appeared at least as effective as fluoxetine. | 4 | Research progress on properties of pre-gelatinized starch and its application in wheat flour products显示文摘Starch is the most abundant organic compound in nature,second only to cellulose.However,the conserved structure of native starches limits their properties and applications.Therefore,it is often necessary to modify them to obtain specific properties.As a common green and safe physical modification method,pre-gelatinization can improve the cold water solubility and swelling power of starch.The typical preparation methods of pre-gelatinized starch include spray drying,extrusion,and drum drying.Spray-dried pre-gelatinized starch still had good granule shape,but the increase of cold water solubility and cold paste viscosity was relatively small.Extruded and drum-dried pre-gelatinized starch showed serious structure destruction,significant increases in cold water solubility and cold paste viscosity,but relatively low hot paste viscosity.The properties of pre-gelatinized starch obtained by different methods are different,so do their effects on the quality of flour products.Wheat flour products,as one of the leading staple food for the people all over the world,play a vital role in people's daily life.With the improvement of people's living standards,more and more special flour products with unique features have received attentions of consumers and researchers.However,the sensory characteristics of special flour products are often inferior to traditional flour products,which limits its development.The unique functional characteristics of pre-gelatinized starch make it expected to play an essential role in the quality improvement of featured flour products.In this paper,the granule morphology,crystal structure,hydration and gelatinization properties of pre-gelatinized starch prepared by three common methods and their application in flour products were reviewed,which provides a theoretical basis for the application of pre-gelatinized starch in food industry. | Hao Ma Mei Liu Ying Liang Xueling Zheng Le Sun Wenqian Dang Jie Li Limin Li Chong Liu | 2022 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2022，5，2： | 3 |

| 16 | Community Characteristics and Species Diversity of Wetland Plants in the Yangguan Nature Reserve of Dunhuang显示文摘As a typical inland wetland, Yangguan nature reserve wetland in Dunhuang is one of the important stops of migratory route for birds, which is vulnerable and particular. Study on the community characteristics and species diversity of wetland has great signifi cance for biodiversity protection. Based on the fi eld investigation, the fl oristic composition, geographical elements and species diversity of wetland plants were studied in Yangguan reserve of Dunhuang. The results showed that 26 families, 56 genera and 74 species were recorded in the study area. The largest families were the Gramineae and Chenopodiaceae, accounting for 29.73% of the total. Herbs were the most abundant life-form, accounting for 77.03% of the total. The fl oral geographical elements of the plants were mainly composed of temperate zone distribution type. By using two way indicator species analysis(TWINSPAN), the vegetation in 36 sampling plots could be classifi ed into 8 communities. The species diversity indexes of communities were relatively low, but had large differences among each other. According to the importance value, the Margalef richness index(Rm) ranged from 0 to 4.200. Simpson diversity index(D) was between 0 and 0.512; Shannon diversity index(H) ranged from 0 to 1.400, and Pielou evenness index(J) was within the range of 0.538 to 1.000. | 19 | The effect of different cancer therapies on clinical outcomes of assisted reproductive technology in breast cancer patients显示文摘Objective To evaluate the clinical outcomes of assisted reproductive technology(ART)on fertility preservation and infertility treatment in breast cancer patients who had undergone different cancer therapies.Methods 20 infertile females who had undergone breast cancer treatments during 2011–2018 were studied retrospectively.The patients were divided into two groups based on their cancer treatment methods and their needs of fertility preservation:the combined treatment group,who had both breast cancer surgery combining with any of the three treatments(adjuvant endocrine therapy,radiotherapy or chemotherapy),and the surgery only group.A group of infertile females without breast cancer history were used as a control group.An aromatase inhibitor Letrozole-based ovarian micro-stimulation protocol was used in females from the three groups for in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer.The ART clinical outcomes were evaluated by using the parameters of antral follicle count(AFC),the ratio of FSH/LH,oocyte retrieval number,2 pronucleus(2 PN)fertilization rate,high-quality embryo rate,clinical pregnancy rate,and delivery outcome.Results The surgery only group had significantly lower ratio of FSH/LH than the combined treatment group and the control group.No significant difference on the ART clinical outcomes,evaluated by the aforementioned criteria,were found between the three groups.Conclusions Breast cancer surgery with adjuvant therapies,but not surgery alone,may damage ovarian function.The best time-limited window to preserve fertility for breast cancer patients is after surgery but before the initiation of adjuvant therapies.Importantly,the clinical outcomes of aromatase inhibitor-based ovary micro-stimulation in breast cancer patients are similar to that in non-breast cancer controls. | Mengmeng Zhang Xueling Song Caihong Ma Xiumei Zhen Hongbin Chi Xiaowei Zhang Rong Li Jie Yan Jie Qiao | 2021 | Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Medicine2021，1，1： | 0 |
| 20 | The effect of continuous Jue tone intervention on blood pressure and vasoactive substances in hypertensive rats with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern显示文摘Objective:Jue tone is a kind of sound,using 3-mi as the main tone,and is melodious,profound,makes people feel comfortable and pleasant.This study aimed to explore the probable mechanism of Jue tone to reduce blood pressure(BP)in hypertensive rats with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern by observing changes in BP as well as physiochemical indexes in plasma.Methods:Sixteen male spontaneous hypertensive rats(SHR)with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern were randomly divided into a control group and a Jue tone group.The rats in the Jue tone group were treated with Jue tone(55e65 dB,played by the five elements of music rhythm instrument,a kind of physiotherapy regimen music played by Shen Wu)once a day for 4 weeks.The BP levels in each group were measured twice a week,on Monday and Friday.The levels of angiotensin II(Ang-II),thromboxane B2(TXB2),endothelin-1(ET-1),calcitonin gene-related peptide(cGRP),norepinephrine(NE),cortisol(CORT),and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT).in plasma were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay after 4 weeks of intervention.Results:BP and the levels of TXB2 and ET-1 in the plasma of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group,while the level of cGRP was significantly higher.Conclusion:Jue tone can reduce the BP of hypertensive rats with a liver-fire hyperactivity pattern.The mechanism may correlate with a reduction in TXB2 and ET-1 and an increase in cGRP with the reduction of reactive oxygen species(ROS). | Qian Zhou Yufeng Chen Sitong Zhang Pei Yang Tian Wang Jianxin Chen Huihui Zhao Wei Wang Xueling Ma | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2022，9，1： | 0 |
