1Fractional differential approach to detecting textural features of digital image and its fractional differential filter implementation显示文摘This paper mainly discusses fractional differential approach to detecting textural features of digital image and its fractional differential filter. Firstly,both the geometric meaning and the kinetic physical meaning of fractional differential are clearly explained in view of information theory and kinetics,respectively. Secondly,it puts forward and discusses the definitions and theories of fractional stationary point,fractional equilibrium coefficient,fractional stable coefficient,and fractional grayscale co-occurrence matrix. At the same time,it particularly discusses fractional grayscale co-occurrence matrix approach to detecting textural features of digital image. Thirdly,it discusses in detail the structures and parameters of n×n any order fractional differential mask on negative x-coordinate,positive x-coordinate,negative y-coordinate,positive y-coordinate,left downward diagonal,left upward diagonal,right downward diagonal,and right upward diagonal,respectively. Furthermore,it discusses the numerical implementation algorithms of fractional differential mask for digital image. Lastly,based on the above-mentioned discussion,it puts forward and discusses the theory and implementation of fractional differential filter for digital image. 2LA-ICP-MS Zircon U-Pb Geochronology of Quartz Porphyry from the Niutougou Gold Deposit in Songxian County,Henan Province显示文摘The Niutougou gold deposit,located in the center of the Xiong'ershan gold district,western Henan Province,is a large gold deposit with many quartz porphyries found in the area.Based on the field geological investigation of quartz porphyry of Niutougou gold deposit and by using the cathodoluminescence(CL) images analysis and in situ LA-ICP-MS U-Pb isotope dating method of zircons,the inner structure,trace element compositions and U-Pb age of the zircons separated from quartz porphyry were analyzed and determined.Cathodoluminescence(CL) images of zircons show clear magmatic zonations.Trace element analyses of zircons reveal that all zircons show high concentrations of Th,U,and HREE,and the REE patterns of depletion in LREE,with a positive Ce anomaly.Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating results show that the quartz porphyry in the Niutougou gold deposit was formed at 159.71±0.99 Ma(about 160 Ma),belonging to the product of magmatic activity in late Middle Jurassic.Combined with the geological characteristics of the Niutougou gold deposit,the formation age of the quartz porphyry and the analysis of the formation age of the granite body exposed in the Niutougou gold deposit,the study suggests that the metallogenic epoch of the Niutougou gold deposit may be Yanshanian in age.WANG Zhongliang GONG Qingjie SUN Xiang WU Fafu WANG Weixing 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,2:17
3High-sum-rate beamformers for multi-pair two-way relay networks with amplify-and-forward relaying strategy显示文摘In multi-pair two-way relay networks,the control over inter-pair-interference is a challenging problem.When mobile stations(MSs)cooperate fully,to achieve the sum capacity of networks and at the same time completely remove the inter-pair-interference,a singular value decomposition(SVD)based beamforming scheme at relay station(RS)is established where SVD beamformers are applied over both uplink and downlink channels,respectively.To avoid any cooperation among users,an efcient beamforming scheme is proposed.This scheme uses the Max-SINR based receive beamformer at RS in uplink channel and the Max-SLNR based transmit precoder at RS in downlink channel.It omits interference(uplink)and leakage(donwlink)inside each pair of users due to their abilities of self-interference cancellation.This beamforming scheme provides an analytical solution like some well-known linear beamformers such as zero-forcing,block diagonalization,etc.From simulation,we find:the proposed SVD shows an excellent sum-rate performance at the expense of a large cooperation overhead at MSs and can be used as a tighter upper bound of sum-rate;the proposed scheme of Max-SINR beamformer plus Max-SLNR precoder performs much better on sum-rate than the ZF-based and the BD-based schemes by using almost the same computational amount.SHU Feng LU YaZhe CHEN Yu YOU XiaoHu WANG JianXin WANG Mao SHENG WeiXing CHEN Qian 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,2:15
4Numerical study of unsteady starting characteristics of a hypersonic inlet显示文摘The impulse and self starting characteristics of a mixed-compression hypersonic inlet designed at Mach number of 6.5 are studied by applying the unsteady computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. The full Navier-Stokes equations are solved with the assumption of viscous perfect gas model, and the shear-stress transport (SST) k-x two-equation Reynolds averaged Navier- Stokes (RANS) model is used for turbulence modeling. Results indicate that during impulse starting, the flow field is divided into three zones with different aerodynamic parameters by primary shock and upstream-facing shock. The separation bubble on the shoulder of ramp undergoes a generating, growing, swallowing and disappearing process in sequence. But a separation bubble at the entrance of inlet exists until the freestream velocity is accelerated to the starting Mach number during self starting. The mass flux distribution of flow field is non-uniform because of the interaction between shock and boundary layer, so that the mass flow rate at throat is unsteady during impulse starting. The duration of impulse starting process increases almost linearly with the decrease of freestream Mach number but rises abruptly when the freestream Mach number approaches the starting Mach number. 5Grid Forming Converters in Renewable Energy Sources Dominated Power Grid:Control Strategy,Stability,Application,and Challenges显示文摘The renewable energy sources(RESs)dominated power grid is an envisaged infrastructure of the future power system,where the commonly used grid following(GFL)control for grid-tied converters suffers from lacking grid support capability,low stability,etc.Recently,emerging grid forming(GFM)control methods have been proposed to improve the dynamic performance and stability of grid-tied converters.This paper reviews existing GFM control methods for the grid-tied converters and compares them in terms of control structure,grid support capability,fault current limiting,and stability.Considering the impact of fault current limiting strategies,a comprehensive transient stability analysis is provided.In addition,this paper explores the typical applications of GFM converters,such as AC microgrid and offshore wind farm high-voltage direct current(OWF-HVDC)integration systems.Finally,the challenges to the GFM converters in future applications are discussed.Haobo Zhang Wang Xiang Weixing Lin Jinyu Wen 2021Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,6:15

7Modeling gross primary production of a temperate grassland ecosystem in Inner Mongolia, China, using MODIS imagery and climate data显示文摘Carbon fluxes in temperate grassland ecosystems are characterized by large inter-annual variations due to fluctuations in precipitation and land water availability. Since an eddy flux tower has been in operation in the Xilin Gol grassland, which belongs to typical temperate grassland in North China, in this study, observed eddy covariance flux data were used to critically evaluate the biophysical per- formance of different remote sensing vegetation indices in relation to carbon fluxes. Furthermore, vegetation photosynthesis model (VPM) was introduced to estimate gross primary production (GPP) of the grassland ecosystem for assessing its dependability. As defined by the input variables of VPM, Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradimeter (MODIS) and standard data product MOD09A1 were downloaded for calculating enhanced vegetation index (EVI) and land surface water index (LSWI). Measured air temperature (Ta) and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) data were also included for model simulating. Field CO2 flux data, during the period from May, 2003 to September, 2005, were used to estimate the 'observed' GPP (GPPobs) for validation. The seasonal dynamics of GPP predicted from VPM (GPPVPM) was compared quite well (R2=0.903, N=111, p<0.0001) with the observed GPP. The ag- gregate GPPVPM for the study period was 641.5 g C·m?2, representing a ~6% over-estimation, compared with GPPobs. Additionally, GPP predicted from other two typical production efficiency model (PEM) represents either higher overestimation or lower underestimation to GPPobs. 8Applications of terrestrial laser scanning for tunnels: a review显示文摘In recent years,the use of terrestrial laser scanning( TLS) technique in engineering surveys is gaining an increasing interest due to the advantages of non-contact,rapidity,high accuracy,and large scale. M illions of accurate 3D points( mmlevel accuracy) can be delivered by this technique with a high point density in a short time( up to 1 million points per second),which makes it a potential technique for large scale applications in engineering environments such as tunnels,bridges,and heritage buildings. Tunnels,in particular those with long lengths,create great challenges for surveyors to obtain the satisfactory scanned data. This paper presents a short history of TLS techniques used for tunnels. A general overviewof TLS techniques is given,followed by a reviewof several applications of TLS for tunnels. These applications are classified as: detecting geological features of drilling tunnels,monitoring the geometry of tunnels during excavation,making deformation measurements,and extracting features. The reviewemphasizes howTLS techniques can be used to measure various aspects of tunnels. 9Quantifying the effects of short-term heat stress at booting stage on nonstructural carbohydrates remobilization in rice显示文摘Extreme heat stress events are becoming more frequent under anticipated climate change,which can have devastating impacts on rice growth and yield.To quantify the effects of short-term heat stress at booting stage on nonstructural carbohydrates(NSC)remobilization in rice,two varieties(Nanjing 41 and Wuyunjing 24)were subjected to 32/22/27°C(maximum/minimum/mean),36/26/31°C,40/30/35°C,and 44/34/39°C for 2,4 and 6 days in phytotrons at booting stage during 2014 and 2015.Yield and yield components,dry matter partitioning index(DMPI),NSC accumulation and translocation were measured and calculated.The results showed that the increase of high-temperature level and duration significantly reduced grain yield by suppressing spikelet number per panicle,seed-setting rate,and grain weight.Heat stress at booting decreased DMPI in panicles,increased DMPI in stems,but had no significant effect on photosynthetic rate.Stem NSC concentration increased whereas panicles NSC concentration,stem NSC translocation efficiency,and contribution of stem NSC to grain yield decreased.Severe heat stress even transformed the stem into a carbohydrate sink during grain filling.The heat-tolerant Wuyunjing 24 showed a higher NSC transport capacity under heat stress than the heat-sensitive Nanjing 41.Heat degree-days(HDD),which combines the effects of the intensity and duration of heat stress,used for quantifying the impacts of heat stress indicates the threshold HDD for the termination of NSC translocation is 9.82°C day.Grain yield was negatively correlated with stem NSC concentration and accumulation at maturity,and yield reduction was tightly related to NSC translocation reduction.The results suggest that heat stress at booting inhibits NSC translocation due to sink size reduction.Therefore,genotypes with higher NSC transport capacity under heat stress could be beneficial for rice yield formation.Fengxian Zhen Junjie Zhou Aqib Mahmood Wei Wang Xini Chang Bing Liu Leilei Liu Weixing Cao Yan Zhu Liang Tang 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,2:9
10A review of road extraction from remote sensing images显示文摘As a significant role for traffic management,city planning,road monitoring,GPS navigation and map updating,the technology of road extraction from a remote sensing(RS) image has been a hot research topic in recent years.In this paper,after analyzing different road features and road models,the road extraction methods were classified into the classification-based methods,knowledge-based methods,mathematical morphology,active contour model,and dynamic programming.Firstly,the road features,road model,existing difficulties and interference factors for road extraction were analyzed.Secondly,the principle of road extraction,the advantages and disadvantages of various methods and research achievements were briefly highlighted.Then,the comparisons of the different road extraction algorithms were performed,including road features,test samples and shortcomings.Finally,the research results in recent years were summarized emphatically.It is obvious that only using one kind of road features is hard to get an excellent extraction effect.Hence,in order to get good results,the road extraction should combine multiple methods according to the real applications.In the future,how to realize the complete road extraction from a RS image is still an essential but challenging and important research topic.Weixing Wang Nan Yang Yi Zhang Fengping Wang Ting Cao Patrik Eklund 2016Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2016,3,3:9
11Effects of afforestation on soil carbon turnover in China's subtropical region显示文摘Afforestation in China's subtropics plays an important role in sequestering CO2 from the atmosphere and in storage of soil carbon (C). Compared with natural forests,plantation forests have lower soil organic carbon (SOC) content and great potential to store more C. To better evaluate the effects of afforestation on soil C turnover,we investigated SOC and its stable C isotope (δ13C) composition in three planted forests at Qianyanzhou Ecological Experimental Station in southern China. Litter and soil samples were collected and analyzed for total organic C,δ13C and total nitrogen. Similarly to the vertical distribution of SOC in natural forests,SOC concentrations decrease exponentially with depth. The land cover type (grassland) before plantation had a significant influence on the vertical distribution of SOC. The SOC ?13C composition of the upper soil layer of two plantation forests has been mainly affected by the grass biomass 13C composition. Soil profiles with a change in photosynthetic pathway had a more complex 13C isotope composition distribution. During the 20 years after plantation establishment,the soil organic matter sources influenced both the δ13C distribution with depth,and C replacement. The upper soil layer SOC turnover in masson pine (a mean 34% of replacement in the 10 cm after 20 years) was more than twice as fast as that of slash pine (16% of replacement) under subtropical conditions. 15Design method with controllable velocity direction at throat for inward-turning inlets显示文摘In the design of a hypersonic inward-turning inlet by applying the traditional basic flowfield, a reflected shock-wave is formed in the isolator due to the continuous reflection of the cowlreflected shock wave in the basic flow-field, which interacts with the boundary layer to produce a considerable influence on the performance of the inlet. Here, a basic flow-field design method that can control the velocity direction at the throat section is developed, and numerical simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method. The method presented in this paper can achieve the absorption of the reflected waves at the shoulder of the basic flow-field by adjusting the variation law of the center radius in the basic flow-field, and a smooth transition between the compression surface and the isolator can also be produced. The Mach number and total pressure recovery coefficient of the inlet designed according to this method are 3.00 and 0.657, respectively, at design point(the incoming flow Mach number Ma1= 6.0). 16Capability-based context ontology modeling and reasoning for C^4ISR communication显示文摘Modeling and reasoning on domain contexts play a key role for adding intelligence to communication services, and the approach of capability-based requirement engineering ensures the scientificity and accuracy of requirement elicitation. This paper presents a capability-based context ontology modeling approach for command and control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance(C4ISR) communication. Primarily, a capability-based C^4ISR communication meta-concept model and a C^4ISR communication context meta-ontology are constructed. The context ontology is established under the constraints of the C^4ISR communication context meta-ontology, and furthermore, algorithms are proposed to support context reasoning based on description logic. 17Capability requirements modeling and verification based on fuzzy ontology显示文摘The capability requirements of the command, control, communication, computing, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems are full of uncertain and vague information, which makes it difficult to model the C4ISR architecture. The paper presents an approach to modeling the capability requirements with the fuzzy unified modeling language (UML) and building domain ontologies with fuzzy description logic (DL). The UML modeling constructs are extended according to the meta model of Depart- ment of Defense Architecture Framework to improve their domain applicability, the fuzzy modeling mechanism is introduced to model the fuzzy efficiency features of capabilities, and the capability requirement models are converted into ontologies formalized in fuzzy DL so that the model consistency and reasonability can be checked with a DL reasoning system. 18Preliminary experimental results by the prototype of Sanya Incoherent Scatter Radar显示文摘In the past decades,the Incoherent Scatter Radar(ISR)has been demonstrated to be one of the most powerful instruments for ionosphere monitoring.The Institute of Geology and Geophysics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences was founded to build a state-ofthe-art phased-array ISR at Sanya(18.3°N,109.6°E),a low-latitude station on Hainan Island,named the Sanya ISR(SYISR).As a first step,a prototype radar system consisting of eight subarrays(SYISR-8)was built to reduce the technical risk of producing the entire large array.In this work,we have summarized the preliminary experimental results based on the SYISR-8.The amplitude and phase among 256 channels were first calibrated through an embedded internal monitoring network.The mean oscillation of the amplitude and phase after calibration were about 1 dB and 5°,respectively,which met the basic requirements.The beam directivity was confirmed by crossing screen of the International Space Station.The SYISR-8 was further used to detect the tropospheric wind profile and meteors.The derived winds were evaluated by comparison with independent radiosonde and balloon-based GPS measurements.The SYISR-8 was able to observe several typical meteor echoes,such as the meteor head echo,range-spread trail echo,and specular trail echo.These results confirmed the validity and reliability of the SYISR-8 system,thereby reducing the technical risk of producing the entire large array of the SYISR to some extent.XinAn Yue WeiXing Wan Han Xiao LingQi Zeng ChangHai Ke BaiQi Ning Feng Ding BiQiang Zhao Lin Jin Chen Li MingYuan Li JunYi Wang HongLian Hao Ning Zhang 2020Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6:3

20Physiological and Transcriptomic Changes During Autumn Coloration and Senescence in Ginkgo biloba Leaves显示文摘Autumn leaf senescence and coloration is a complex process and a striking natural phenomenon.Here,through biology approach integrating transcriptomic analyses in Ginkgo biloba,we determined that the content of chlorophyll decreased during leaf senescence,while carotenoid components increased until late October in the turning stage(TS)and then decreased in the yellow leaf stage(YS).Simultaneously,chlorophyll biosynthesis genes exhibited significantly lower expression levels while chlorophyll degradation genes showed increased expression from the green leaf stage(GS)to YS.However,carotenoid biosynthesis-related genes showed enhanced expression,especially in TS.An analysis of the expression of genes related to senescence demonstrated that the expression levels of most abscisic acid-and jasmonic acid-related genes,autophagy,WRKY,and NAC genes increased,whereas cytoskeleton-,photosynthesis-,and antioxidation-related genes decreased from GS to YS.Furthermore,G.biloba seedlings exogenously treated with abscisic acid,jasmonic acid,or ultraviolet-B radiation all showed obvious color variation and senescence symptoms.We used these exogenously seedlings to further validate the function of several genes involved in chlorophyll biosynthesis and senescence.Taken together,these results contribute to the elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of leaf coloration and senescence in G.biloba as well as in the identification of candidate genes involved in this process.Weixing Li Lu Wang Zhichong He Zhaogeng Lu Jiawen Cui Ningtao Xu Biao Jin Li Wang 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,6:3
