| 2 | Downregulation of caveolin-1 contributes to the synaptic plasticity deficit in the hippocampus of aged rats显示文摘Caveolin-1 is involved in the regulation of synaptic plasticity,but the relationship between its expression and cognitive function during aging remains controversial.To explore the relationship between synaptic plasticity in the aging process and changes in learning and memory,we examined caveolin-1 expression in the hippocampus,cortex and cerebellum of rats at different ages.We also examined the relationship between the expression of caveolin-1 and synaptophysin,a marker of synaptic plasticity.Hippocampal caveolin-1 and synaptophysin expression in aged(22–24 month old)rats was significantly lower than that in young(1 month old)and adult(4 months old)rats.Expression levels of both proteins were significantly greater in the cortex of aged rats than in that of young or adult rats,and levels were similar between the three age groups in the cerebellum.Linear regression analysis revealed that hippocampal expression of synaptophysin was associated with memory and learning abilities.Moreover,synaptophysin expression correlated positively with caveolin-1 expression in the hippocampus,cortex and cerebellum.These results confirm that caveolin-1 has a regulatory effect on synaptic plasticity,and suggest that the downregulation of hippocampal caveolin-1 expression causes a decrease in synaptic plasticity during physiological aging. | Yang Liu Zhanhua Liang Jing Liu Wei Zou Xiaoyan Li Yachen Wang Lijia An | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013，8，29： | 6 |
| 3 | Adsorption and mechanistic study of the invasive plant-derived biochar functionalized with CaAl-LDH for Eu(Ⅲ) in water显示文摘Herein,we developed the invasive plant-derived biochar (IPB) functionalized with CaAl-LDH at five mass ratios using a physical mixture method,assessed their adsorption perform for Eu(Ⅲ),and explored the relative mechanisms.Results show that the IPB successfully loaded CaAl-LDH in five composites and their Eu(Ⅲ) sorption affinities were strongly affected by solution p H,contact time,temperature,and the mass ratio of LDH and IPB.All the sorpiton process for Eu(Ⅲ) occurred on the heterogeneous surface of five composites and the boundary layer diffusion limited the chemical sorption rate.Interestingly,the CaAl-LDH/IPB composite with high ratio of IPB had higher sorption capacity than the one with high ratio of LDH due to larger porosity of the former.Three mechanisms containing ion exchange between Al and Eu ions,surface complexation with carboxyl-and oxygen-containing functional groups,and precipitation were involved in the Eu(Ⅲ) sorption,but the dominant sorption mechanism for each CaAl-LDH/IPB composite differed with different mass ratio of CaAl-LDH and IPB.In composite with more IPB (e.g.,CaAl-LDH/IPB-13),both ion exchange and surface complexes dominated the sorption process and the intensity of Eu^3+ was identified with the one of Eu2O3.Whereas in composites with high LDH,ion exchange dominated the sorption and the intensity of Eu^3+ was obviously higher than the one of Eu_2O_3.This research will provide a new perspective for the application of the LDH/biochar materials. | Shengbo Li Lijia Dong Zuofu Wei Guodong Sheng Kui Du Baowei Hu | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020，32，10： | 5 |

| 6 | An anther-specific chalcone synthase-like gene D5 related to rice pollen development显示文摘It was shown in a previous analysis that D5 gene from rice (Oryza sativa L.) was an anther-specific gene encoding a chalcone synthase-related protein. In this study, D5 gene was found specifically expressed in tapetum cells as well as in the peripheral cells of the vascular bundle of rice anthers by RNA in situ hybridization. In order to study its function, D5 was transformed into rice in both sense and antisense directions driven by a rice Actin 1 promoter. | 7 | Application of the Reactive Oxygen-Based Cervical Exfoliated Cell Staining Solution in Clinical Cervical Cancer Screening显示文摘We developed a special methylene blue solution for staining of cervix shedding cells based on catalytic oxidizing chromogenic reaction, which shows a potential for cervical cancer cytology screening. We screened a total of 1 922 women for cervical cancer with the special methylene blue staining method and a conventional Pap smear method using cervix shedding cells. Then, the patients with positive indicators of the Pap smear or this special solution staining method were examined by the electron colposcopy and histopathological examination. Staining of cervical exfoliated cells with this reactive oxygen-based special solution showed that the number of positive cases was 140(7.28%). Among them, 21 cases showed dark green(1.09%), and 119 cases showed purple black(6.19%). The results of the Pap smear method showed that the number of positive cases was 123(6.40%), of which ASCUS was 105(5.46%), ASC-H was 5(0.26%), and LSIL was 9(0.47%), and HSIL was 4(0.21%). For cervical exfoliated cell special staining solution for screening cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN-Ⅱ, CIN-Ⅲ) and cervical cancer, sensitivity was 83.33%, specificity was 65.52%, accuracy was 74.29%, missed diagnosis rate was 13.33%, positive coincidence rate was 51.43%, and the negative coincidence rate is 86.67%. | 8 | Two cases of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia combined with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance and a literature review显示文摘To describe myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS)/myeloproliferative neoplasm(MPN) combined with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance(MGUS) in order to investigate the potential association between these 2 diseases. Two cases of confirmed chronic myelomonocytic leukemia(CMML) combined with MGUS were reported. In addition, prior publications of cases with combined MDS or MPN with MGUS were reviewed. The first case was of a 77-year-old man whose routine blood tests showed abnormal hemogram results. The diagnosis was CMML combined with Ig M monoclonal gammopathy, and the disease course was 4 years. The CMML gradually progressed and the patient presented with anemia, thrombocytopenia, autoimmune hemolysis, and an increase in the number of immature cells in the bone marrow. Although the MGUS caused fluctuations in the concentrations of Ig M, no Ig M-associated organ damage was observed. Eventually, this patient died from a lung infection. The second case was of a 78-year-old man who sought treatment because of fever and a cough. An increase in the number of monocytes was discovered in the peripheral blood. Bone marrow smear results suggested obvious active granulocytes and an increase in the percentages of promyelocytes, myelocytes, and metamyelocytes. Unhealthy granulocytes and immature monocytes could also be observed, and the percentage of monocytes was increased. In addition, serum Ig G levels were increased, and immunofixation electrophoresis results showed Ig G-κ type M proteins. The diagnosis was CMML combined with Ig G monoclonal gammopathy. These diseases were stable and follow-up was conducted for 1 year after diagnosis. The cases in this study combined with those that were reviewed in the relevant literature indicate that the presence of these 2 diseases in the same patient might not be a coincidence. The development of the 2 diseases in case 1 was different, and we speculate that they might have had different clonal origins. | 13 | Low cycle fatigue behavior of die cast Mg-Al-Mn-Ce magnesium alloy显示文摘Fatigue failure is a main failure mode for magnesium and other alloys. It is beneficial for fatigue design and fatigue life improvement to investigate the low cycle fatigue behavior of magnesium alloys. In order to investigate the low cycle fatigue behavior of die cast Mg-Al-Mn-Ce magnesium alloy, the strain controlled fatigue experiments were performed at room temperature and fatigue fracture surfaces of specimens were observed with scanning election microscopy for the alloys under die-cast and aged states. Cyclic stress response curves, strain amplitude versus reversals to failure curve, total strain amplitude versus fatigue life curves and cyclic stress-strain curves of Mg-Al-Mn-Ce alloys were analyzed. The results show that the Mg-Al-Mn-Ce alloys under die-cast(F) and aged(T5) states exhibit cyclic strain hardening under the applied total strain amplitudes, and aging treatment could greatly increase the cyclic stress amplitudes of die cast Mg-Al-Mn-Ce alloys. The relationships between the plastic strain amplitude, the elastic strain amplitude and reversals to failure of Mg-Al-Mn-Ce magnesium alloy under different treatment states could be described by Coffin-Manson and Basquin equations, respectively. | 20 | A cross-layer design and ant-colony optimization based load-balancing routing protocol for ad-hoc networks显示文摘In order to periodically reassess the status of the alternate path route(APR)set and to improve the efficiency of alternate path construction existing in most current alter-nate path routing protocols,we present a cross-layer design and ant-colony optimization based load-balancing routing protocol for ad-hoc networks(CALRA)in this paper.In CALRA,the APR set maintained in nodes is aged and reas-sessed by the inherent mechanism of pheromone evaporation of ant-colony optimization algorithm,and load balance of network is achieved by ant-colony optimization combining with cross-layer synthetic optimization.The efficiency of APR set construction is improved by bidirectional and hop-by-hop routing update during routing discovery and routing maintenance process.Moreover,ants in CALRA deposit simulated pheromones as a function of multiple parameters corresponding to the information collected by each layer of each node visited,such as the distance from their source node,the congestion degree of the visited nodes,the current pheromones the nodes possess,the velocity of the nodes,and so on,and provide the information to the visiting nodes to update their pheromone tables by endowing the different parameters corresponding to different information and different weight values,which provides a new method to improve the congestion problem,the shortcut problem,the convergence rate and the heavy overheads commonly existed in existing ant-based routing protocols for ad-hoc networks.The performance of the algorithm is measured by the packet delivery rate,good-put ratio(routing overhead),and end-to-end delay.Simulation results show that CALRA performs well in decreasing the route overheads,balancing traffic load,as well as increasing the packet delivery rate,etc. | ZHENG Xiangquan GUO Wei GE Lijia LIU Renting | 2007 | Frontiers of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in China2007，2，2： | 1 |
