| 1 | A-DA′D-A non-fullerene acceptors for high-performance organic solar cells显示文摘Since the world-record power conversion efficiency of 15.7%was achieved for organic solar cells(OSCs)in 2019,the newly developed non-fullerene acceptor(NFA)Y6 with an A-DA′D-A structure(A denotes an electron-accepting moiety,D denotes an electron-donating moiety)has attracted increasing attention.Subsequently,many new A-DA′D-A NFAs have been designed and synthesized,and the A-DA′D-A NFAs have played a significant role in the development of high-performance non-fullerene organic solar cells(NF-OSCs).Compared with the classical A-D-A-type acceptors,A-DA′D-A NFAs contain an electrondeficient core(such as benzothiadiazole(BT),benzotriazole(BTA),quinoxaline(Qx),or their derivatives)in the ladder-type fused rings to fine-tune the energy levels,broaden light absorption and achieve higher electron mobility of the NFAs.This review emphasizes the recent progress on these emerging A-DA′D-A(including Y-series)NFAs.The synthetic methods of DA′D-fused rings are introduced.The relationships between the chemical structure of the A-DA′D-A NFAs and the photovoltaic performance of the corresponding OSCs are summarized and discussed.Finally,issues and prospects for further improving photovoltaic performance of the OSCs are also proposed. | Qingya Wei Wei Liu Mario Leclerc Jun Yuan Honggang Chen Yingping Zou | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,10: | 7 |

| 5 | Cryo-EM structures of inactive and active GABAB receptor显示文摘Metabotropic GABAB G protein-coupled receptor functions as a mandatory heterodimer of GB1 and GB2 subunits and mediates inhibitory neurotransmission in the central nervous system.Each subunit is composed of the extracellular Venus flytrap(VFT)domain and transmembrane(TM)domain.Here we present cryo-EM structures of full-length human heterodimeric GABAB receptor in the antagonist-bound inactive state and in the active state complexed with an agonist and a positive allosteric modulator in the presence of Gi1 protein at a resolution range of 2.8–3.0Å.Our structures reveal that agonist binding stabilizes the closure of GB1 VFT,which in turn triggers a rearrangement of TM interfaces between the two subunits from TM3-TM5/TM3-TM5 in the inactive state to TM6/TM6 in the active state and finally induces the opening of intracellular loop 3 and synergistic shifting of TM3,4 and 5 helices in GB2 TM domain to accommodate theα5-helix of Gi1.We also observed that the positive allosteric modulator anchors at the dimeric interface of TM domains.These results provide a structural framework for understanding class C GPCR activation and a rational template for allosteric modulator design targeting the dimeric interface of GABAB receptor. | Chunyou Mao Cangsong Shen Chuntao Li Dan-Dan Shen Chanjuan Xu Shenglan Zhang Rui Zhou Qingya Shen Li-Nan Chen Jianfeng Liu Yan Zhang | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,7: | 3 |
| 6 | Determinants of self-management behaviors among pulmonary tuberculosis patients: a path analysis显示文摘Background Tuberculosis(TB)is one of the top 10 causes of death in the world.Since Directly Observed Therapy(DOT)as a core strategy for the global TB control are not applicable to all types of TB patients,and self-management of TB patients(SMTP)as a patient-centered supervision type is a supplement to DOT and can improve TB case management.However,the factors related to SMTP are complex and need more study.This study aimed at identifying the determinants of SMTP and examining the direct/indirect effects of these determinants.Methods The purposive sampling technique was used to select study sites and participants were recruited from the study sites by the consecutive sampling method.The PRECEDE model was used as the framework to analyze the determinants of SMTP.The responses of TB patients were acquired via a questionnaire survey for data collection.A Pearson correlation analysis was used to define the relationship between the predisposing,enabling,reinforcing factors with SMTP behaviors.A regression-based path analysis was used to determine the action paths of the predisposing,enabling,and reinforcing factors on SMTP behaviors.Results The predisposing(TB knowledge),enabling[health education and healthcare workers(HCWs)support],reinforcing factors(family support)had significant positive correlations with SMTP behaviors(P<0.05).The predisposing,enabling,reinforcing factors were positively correlated with each other(r=0.123‒0.918,P<0.05),except for family support and HCWs support.The predisposing factors(TB knowledge,β=0.330)and the enabling factors(HCWs support,β=0.437)had direct effects on SMTP behaviors.The enabling factors(health education and HCWs support)and the reinforcing factors(family support)had indirect effects on SMTP behaviors.Conclusions This study revealed the effects and action path of TB knowledge,health education,HCWs support,and family support on SMTP behaviors via a path analysis.Assessing patient’s needs for SMTP along with promoting effective TB health education and providing firm support from HCWs and family members are potential strategies to promote SMTP behaviors. | Jin Li Jie Pu Jiaqing Liu Qingya Wang Rui Zhang Ting Zhang Jiani Zhou Wei Xing Shengxiang Liang Daiyu Hu Ying Li | 2021 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,4: | 2 |
| 7 | Cyclophosphamide loaded thermo-responsive hydrogel system synergize with a hydrogel cancer vaccine to amplify cancer immunotherapy in a prime-boost manner显示文摘Although neoantigen-based cancer vaccines show great potential in cancer immunotherapy due to their ability to induce effective and long-lasting anti-tumor immunity,their development is hindered by the limitations of neoantigens identification,low immunogenicity,and weak immune response.Cyclophosphamide(CTX)not only directly kills tumors but also causes immunogenic cell death,providing a promising source of antigens for cancer vaccines.Herein,a combined immunotherapy strategy based on temperature-sensitive PLEL hydrogel is designed.First,CTX-loaded hydrogel is injected intratumorally into CT26 bearing mice to prime anti-tumor immunity,and then 3 days later,PLEL hydrogels loaded with CpG and tumor lysates are subcutaneously injected into both groins to further promote anti-tumor immune responses.The results confirm that this combined strategy reduces the toxicity of CTX,and produces the cytotoxic T lymphocyte response to effectively inhibit tumor growth,prolong survival,and significantly improve the tumor cure rate.Moreover,a long-lasting immune memory response is observed in the mice.About 90%of the cured mice survive for at least 60 days after being re-inoculated with tumors,and the distant tumor growth is also well inhibited.Hence,this PLEL-based combination therapy may provide a promising reference for the clinical promotion of chemotherapy combined with cancer vaccines. | Fan Yang Kun Shi Ying Hao Yanpeng Jia Qingya Liu Yu Chen Meng Pan Liping Yuan Yongyang Yu Zhiyong Qian | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 2 |
| 8 | Intracellular aggregation of peptide-reprogrammed small molecule nanoassemblies enhances cancer chemotherapy and combinatorial immunotherapy显示文摘The intracellular retention of nanotherapeutics is essential for their therapeutic activity.The immobilization of nanotherapeutics inside target cell types can regulate various cell behaviors.However,strategies for the intracellular immobilization of nanoparticles are limited.Herein,a cisplatin prodrug was synthesized and utilized as a glutathione(GSH)-activated linker to induce aggregation of the cisplatin prodrug/IR820/docetaxel nanoassembly.The nanoassembly has been reprogrammed with peptidecontaining moieties for tumor-targeting and PD-1/PD-L1 blockade.The aggregation of the nanoassemblies is dependent on GSH concentration.Evaluations in vitro and in vivo revealed that GSH-induced intracellular aggregation of the nanoassemblies enhances therapeutic activity in primary tumors by enhancing the accumulation and prolonging the retention of the chemotherapeutics in the tumor site and inducing reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation and immunogenic cell death.Moreover,the nanoassemblies reinvigorate the immunocytes,especially the systemic immunocytes,and thereby alleviate pulmonary metastasis,even though the population of immunocytes in the primary tumor site is suppressed due to the enhanced accumulation of chemotherapeutics.This strategy provides a promising option for the intracellular immobilization of nanoparticles in vitro and in vivo. | Jinrong Peng Yao Xiao Qian Yang Qingya Liu Yu Chen Kun Shi Ying Hao Ruxia Han Zhiyong Qian | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,4: | 2 |
