1Nonlinear hysteresis identification and compensation based on the discrete Preisach model of an aircraft morphing wing device manipulated by an SMA actuator显示文摘The conception of aircraft morphing wings thrives in aeronautics since the appearance of shape memory alloys(SMAs). An aircraft morphing wing device, manipulated by an SMA actuator, inherits the intrinsic nonlinear hysteresis from the SMA actuator, ending up with control disadvantages. Conventionally, systems with SMA actuators are constrained to bi-stable states to bypass the hysteresis region. Rather than retreating a morphing wing device to bi-stable states, this paper is dedicated to transcend the morphing wing device beyond the customary limit. A methodology of discrete Preisach modeling, which identifies the hysteresis of the morphing wing device, is proposed herein. An array of discrete equal-distance points is applied to the Preisach plane in order to derive the Preisach density over the partitioned unit of the Preisach plane. Discrete Preisach modeling is fulfilled by the discrete first-order reversible curve(DFORC). By utilizing the discrete Preisach model, the aircraft morphing wing device is simulated; the validity and accuracy of discrete Preisach modeling are demonstrated by contrasting the simulated outcome with experimental data of the major hysteretic loop and the wingspan-wise displacement over time; a comparison between simulation and experimental results exhibits consistency. Afterwards, a hysteresis compensation strategy put forward in this paper is implemented for quasi-linear control of the aircraft morphing wing device, which manifests a compensated shrinking hysteresis loop and attains the initiative of extending the morphing range to the intrinsic hysteretic region.Yuchen CHEN Xing SHEN Jiefeng LI Jinjin CHEN 2019Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,4:7

3Design Around Bundle Patent Portfolio Based on Technological Evolution显示文摘Product innovation can be achieved by analyzing leading products patents in the market.Different methods have been proposed for design around patent,commonly using the elimination or replacement of a single patent element However,the existing research fails to restore the position and function of the design around object in the original patent portfolio of enterprises,which often leads to the phenomenon of evading one patent and violating another.This paper proposes a method for design around patent through using the fusion of technologies of the evolution theory and bundle-type patent portfolio analysis in the initial stage of product development.The object system is analyzed to select technical opportunities through the evolutionary path of technologies and functional trimming methods to achieve circumvent barriers of bundle-type patents.The bundle patent portfolio is analyzed for the product evolution with a radar map.The technological evolution path is combined with the TRIZ innovation method to identify and solve the design problem.Patentability of the new design is evaluated using the patent system rules for innovative scheme difference from the original patent portfolio.The method is verified in a case study for the design of a glass-wiping robot.The design solution has been patented.Hui Li Jiefeng Yuan Runhua Tan Qingjin Peng 2019Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2019,32,5:5
4Advanced Anode Materials of Potassium Ion Batteries:from Zero Dimension to Three Dimensions显示文摘Potassium ion batteries(PIBs)with the prominent advantages of sufficient reserves and economical cost are attractive candidates of new rechargeable batteries for large-grid electrochemical energy storage systems(EESs).However,there are still some obstacles like large size of K+to commercial PIBs applications.Therefore,rational structural design based on appropriate materials is essential to obtain practical PIBs anode with K+accommodated and fast diffused.Nanostructural design has been considered as one of the effective strategies to solve these issues owing to unique physicochemical properties.Accordingly,quite a few recent anode materials with different dimensions in PIBs have been reported,mainly involving in carbon materials,metal-based chalcogenides(MCs),metal-based oxides(MOs),and alloying materials.Among these anodes,nanostructural carbon materials with shorter ionic transfer path are beneficial for decreasing the resistances of transportation.Besides,MCs,MOs,and alloying materials with nanostructures can effectively alleviate their stress changes.Herein,these materials are classified into 0D,1D,2D,and 3D.Particularly,the relationship between different dimensional structures and the corresponding electrochemical performances has been outlined.Meanwhile,some strategies are proposed to deal with the current disadvantages.Hope that the readers are enlightened from this review to carry out further experiments better.Jiefeng Zheng Yuanji Wu Yingjuan Sun Jianhua Rong Hongyan Li Li Niu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,1:4
5Activation of Piezo1 contributes to matrix stiffness-induced angiogenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Background:Despite integrin being highlighted as a stiffness-sensor molecule in matrix stiffness-driven angiogenesis,other stiffness-sensor molecules and their mechanosensory pathways related to angiogenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain obscure.Here,we explored the interplay between Piezo1 and integrinβ1 in the mechanosensory pathway and their effects on HCC angiogenesis to better understand matrix stiffness-induced angiogenesis.Methods:The role of Piezo1 in matrix stiffness-induced angiogenesis was investigated using orthotopic liver cancer SD rat models with high liver stiffness background,and its clinical significance was evaluated in human HCC tissues.Matrix stiffness-mediated Piezo1 upregulation and activation were assayed using an in vitro fibronectin(FN)-coated cell culture system with different stiffness,Western blotting and Ca^(2+)probe.The effects of shPiezo1-conditioned medium(CM)on angiogenesis were examined by tube formation assay,wound healing assay and angiogenesis array.The underlying mechanism by which Piezo1 participated in matrix stiffness-induced angiogenesis was analyzed by microRNA quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR),matrix stiffness measurement,dual-luciferase reporter assay,ubiquitination assay and co-immunoprecipitation.Results:Increased matrix stiffness significantly upregulated Piezo1 expression at both cellular and tissue levels,and high expression of Piezo1 indicated an unfavorable prognosis.High matrix stiffness also noticeably enhanced the activation level of Piezo1,similar to its expression level.Piezo1 knockdown significantly suppressed tumor growth,angiogenesis,and lung metastasis of HCC rat models with high liver stiffness background.shPiezo1-CM from HCC cells attenuated tube formation and migration abilities of vascular endothelial cells remarkably,and analysis of differentially expressed pro-angiogenic factors revealed that Piezo1 promoted the expression and secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),CXC chemokine ligand 16(CXCL16)and insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2(IGFBP2).Matrix stiffness-caused Piezo1 upregulation/activation restrained hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)ubiquitination,subsequently enhanced the expression of downstream pro-angiogenic factors to accelerate HCC angiogenesis.Besides,collagen 1(COL1)-reinforced tissue stiffening resulted in more expression of Piezo1 via miR-625-5p.Conclusions:This study unravels a new mechanism by which the inte-grinβ1/Piezo1 activation/Ca2+influx/HIF-1αubiquitination/VEGF,CXCL16 and IGFBP2 pathway participates in matrix stiffness-driven HCC angiogenesis.Simultaneously,a positive feedback regulation loop as stiff matrix/integrinβ1/miR-625-5p/Piezo1 and COL1/stiffer matrix mediates matrix stiffness-caused Piezo1 upregulation.Miao Li Xi Zhang Mimi Wang Yaohui Wang Jiali Qian Xiaoxia Xing Zhiming Wang Yang You Kun Guo Jie Chen Dongmei Gao Yan Zhao Lan Zhang Rongxin Chen Jiefeng Cui Zhenggang Ren 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,11:3
6Control measures during the COVID-19 outbreak reduced the transmission of hand,foot,and mouth disease显示文摘Control measures during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)outbreak may have limited the spread of infectious diseases.This study aimed to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the spread of hand,foot,and mouth disease(HFMD)in China.A mathematical model was established to fit the reported data of HFMD in six selected cities in China's Mainland from 2015 to 2020.The absolute difference(AD)and relative difference(RD)between the reported incidence in 2020,and simulated maximum,minimum,or median incidence of HFMD in 2015-2019 were calculated.The incidence and R effof HFMD have decreased in six selected cities since the outbreak of COVID-19,and in the second half of 2020,the incidence and R effof HFMD have rebounded.The results show that the total attack rate(TAR)in 2020 was lower than the maximum,minimum,and median TAR fitted in previous years in six selected cities(except Changsha City).For the maximum,median,minimum fitted TAR,the range of RD(%)is 42·20-99·20%,36·35-98·41%48·35-96·23%(except Changsha City)respectively.The preventive and control measures of COVID-19 have significantly contributed to the containment of HFMD transmission.Yan Niu Li Luo Jia Rui Shiting Yang Bin Deng Zeyu Zhao Shengnan Lin Jingwen Xu Yuanzhao Zhu Yao Wang Meng Yang Xingchun Liu Tianlong Yang Weikang Liu Peihua Li Zhuoyang Li Chan Liu Jiefeng Huang Tianmu Chen 2021Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,2:3

8PD-1 Involvement in Peripheral Blood CD8+T Lymphocyte Dysfunction in Patients with Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:Programmed cell death-1(PD-1)plays an important role in downregulating T lymphocytes but the mechanisms are still poorly understood.This study aimed to explore the role of PD-1 in CD8^(+)T lymphocyte dysfunction in hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).Methods:Thirty patients with HBV-ACLF and 30 healthy controls(HCs)were recruited.The differences in the numbers and functions of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes,PD-1 and glucose transporter-1(Glut1)expression from the peripheral blood of patients with HBV-ACLF and HCs were analyzed.In vitro,the CD8^(+)T lymphocytes from HCs were cultured(HC group)and the CD8^(+)T lymphocytes from ACLF patients were cultured with PD-L1-IgG(ACLF+PD-1 group)or IgG(ACLF group).The numbers and functions of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes,PD-1 expression,glycogen uptake capacity,and Glut1,hexokinase-2(HK2),and pyruvate kinase(PKM2)expression were analyzed among the HC group,ACLF group and ACLF+PD-1group.Results:The absolute numbers of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood from patients with HBVACLF were lower than in the HCs(p<0.001).The expression of PD-1 in peripheral blood CD8^(+)T lymphocytes was lower in HCs than in patients with HBV-ACLF(p=0.021).Compared with HCs,PD-1 expression was increased(p=0.021)and Glut1 expression was decreased(p=0.016)in CD8^(+)T lymphocytes from the HBV-ACLF group.In vitro,glycogen uptake and functions of ACLF CD8^(+)T lymphocytes were significantly lower than that in HCs(p=0.017;all p<0.001).When PD-1/PD-L1 was activated,the glycogen uptake rate and expression levels of Glut1,HK2,and PKM2 showed a decreasing trend(ACLF+PD-1 group compared to ACLF group,all p<0.05).The functions of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in the ACLF+PD-1 group[using biomarkers of Ki67,CD69,IL-2,interferon-gamma,and tumor necrosis factor-alpha-were lower than in the ACLF group(all p<0.05).Conclusions:CD8^(+)T lymphocyte dysfunction is observed in patients with HBV-ACLF.PD-1-induced T lymphocyte dysfunction might involve glycolysis inhibition.Xiaoshuang Zhou Yidong Li Yaqiu Ji Tian Liu Ninghui Zhao Jiefeng He Jia Yao 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,3:2
9High Capacity and Fast Kinetics of Potassium‑Ion Batteries Boosted by Nitrogen‑Doped Mesoporous Carbon Spheres显示文摘In view of rich potassium resources and their working potential,potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are deemed as next generation rechargeable batteries.Owing to carbon materials with the preponderance of durability and economic price,they are widely employed in PIBs anode materials.Currently,porosity design and heteroatom doping as efficacious improvement strategies have been applied to the structural design of carbon materials to improve their electrochemical performances.Herein,nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon spheres(MCS)are synthesized by a facile hard template method.The MCS demonstrate larger interlayer spacing in a short range,high specific surface area,abundant mesoporous structures and active sites,enhancing K-ion migration and diffusion.Furthermore,we screen out the pyrolysis temperature of 900°C and the pore diameter of 7 nm as optimized conditions for MCS to improve performances.In detail,the optimized MCS-7-900 electrode achieves high rate capacity(107.9 mAh g^(−1) at 5000 mA g^(−1))and stably brings about 3600 cycles at 1000 mA g^(−1).According to electrochemical kinetic analysis,the capacitive-controlled effects play dominant roles in total storage mechanism.Additionally,the full-cell equipped MCS-7-900 as anode is successfully constructed to evaluate the practicality of MCS.Jiefeng Zheng Yuanji Wu Yong Tong Xi Liu Yingjuan Sun Hongyan Li Li Niu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:2
10Feasibility of Booster Vaccination in High-Risk Populations for Controlling Coronavirus Variants—China,2021显示文摘Introduction:Vaccination booster shots are completely necessary for controlling breakthrough infections of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)in China.The study aims to estimate effectiveness of booster vaccines for high-risk populations(HRPs).Methods:A vaccinated Susceptible-Exposed-Symptomatic-Asymptomatic-Recovered/Removed(SEIAR)model was developed to simulate scenarios of effective reproduction number(Reff)from 4 to 6.Total number of infectious and asymptomatic cases were used to evaluated vaccination effectiveness.Results:Our model showed that we could not prevent outbreaks when covering 80%of HRPs with booster unless Reff=4.0 or the booster vaccine had efficacy against infectivity and susceptibility of more than 90%.The results were consistent when the outcome index was confirmed cases or asymptomatic cases.Conclusions:An ideal coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)booster vaccination strategy for HRPs would be expected to reach the initial goal to control the transmission of the Delta variant in China.Accordingly,the recommendation for the COVID-19 booster vaccine should be implemented in HRPs who are already vaccinated and could prevent transmission to other groups.Kangguo Li Zeyu Zhao Hongjie Wei Jia Rui Jiefeng Huang Xiaohao Guo Yichao Guo Shiting Yang Guzainuer Abudurusuli Li Luo Xingchun Liu Yao Wang Jingwen Xu Yuanzhao Zhu Meng Yang TianlongYang Weikang Liu Bin Deng Chan Liu Zhuoyang Li Peihua Li Shanshan Yu Zimei Yang Yanhua Su Benhua Zhao Yan Niu Tianmu Chen 2021China CDC weekly2021,3,50:2
