| 1 | Toxicity of the brominated flame retardant tris-(2,3-dibromopropyl) isocyanurate in zebrafish (Danio rerio)显示文摘Tris-(2,3-dibromopropyl) isocyanurate (TBC) is a heterocyclic brominated flame retardant that was recently detected in the environment in China.TBC is semi-volatile and can accumulate in the lipid of some species,but little is known about its effect on aquatic organisms.We exposed adult zebrafish to 0,0.25,1 and 4mg/L TBC for 28 d and measured the effect on survival,growth,histopathology,hormone levels,enzyme activity,and gene expression.TBC exposure had no effect on survival or growth.We observed significant damage to the liver and gill,including hepatocellular swelling and fatty degeneration in the liver as well as proliferation and edema of epithelial cells in the gills.In addition,exposure to 4mg/L TBC induced proliferation of goblet cells in the intestine of both sexes,acellular areas in the testis,and thinly scattered vitellogenic granules in vitellogenic oocytes.TBC exposure had no effect on the levels of thyroid hormones,testosterone,estradiol,liver superoxide dismutase activity,malondialdehyde content,and brain cholinesterase activity.By contrast,hepatic vitellogenin and cytochrome P4501A gene expression was significantly down-regulated in both male and female zebrafish in response to TBC exposure.Our results suggest that exposure to TBC causes a variety of potential reproductive and endocrine toxic effects. | ZHANG Xu LI Juan CHEN MinJie WU Le ZHANG Chi ZHANG Jie ZHOU QunFang LIANG Yong | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,15: | 13 |

| 3 | Preparation of magnetically separable mesoporous activated carbons from brown coal with Fe3O4显示文摘Magnetically separable mesoporous activated carbon was prepared from brown coal in the presence of Fe3O4 as a bi-functional additive.Magnetic activated carbon(MAC)was characterized by lowtemperature nitrogen adsorption,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and vibrating sample magnetometry(VSM).The evolution behaviors and transition mechanism of Fe3O4 during the preparation of MAC were investigated.The results show that prepared MAC with 6 wt%Fe3O4 addition having a specific surface area and mesopore ratio of 370 m^2·g^-1 and 55.7%,which meet the requirements of adsorption application and magnetic recovery.Highly dispersed iron-containing aggregates with the size of 0.1 lm in the MAC were observed.During the preparation of MAC,Fe3O4 could enhance the escape of volatiles during the carbonization.Fe3O4 could also accelerate burning off the carbon wall during activation,which leads to enlarging micropore size,then resulting in the generation of mesopore and macropore.As a result,a part of Fe3O4 converted into FeO,FeOOH,a-Fe,c-Fe,Fe2SiO4 and compound of Aluminum-iron-silicon.The prepared activated carbon,which was magnetized by both of residual Fe3O4,reduced a-Fe and c-Fe,can be easily separated from the original solution by external magnetic field. | Yong Jiang Qiang Xie Yanhai Zhang Cuiyu Geng Bin Yu Juan Chi | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,3: | 8 |

| 5 | Integrin-interacting protein Kindlin-2 induces mammary tumors in transgenic mice显示文摘Kindlin-2, an integrin-interacting protein, regulates breast cancer progression. However, currently, no animal model to study the role of Kindlin-2 in the carcinogenesis of mammary gland is available. We established a Kindlin-2 transgenic mouse model using a mammary gland-specific promoter, mammary tumor virus(MMTV) long terminal repeat(LTR). Kindlin-2 was overexpressed in the epithelial cells of the transgenic mice. The mammary gland ductal trees were found to grow faster in MMTV-Kindlin-2 transgenic mice than in control mice during puberty. Kindlin-2 promoted mammary gland growth as indicated by more numerous duct branches and larger lumens, and more alveoli were formed in the mammary glands during pregnancy under Kindlin-2 overexpression. Importantly, mammary gland-specific expression of Kindlin-2 induced tumor formation at the age of 55 weeks on average. Additionally, the levels of estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor were decreased, whereas human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 and β-catenin were upregulated in the Kindlin-2-induced mammary tumors. | 6 | Study on the spectral response of Brassica Campestris L. leaf to the copper pollution显示文摘Brassica Campestis L. was cultivated in the soil at the laboratory. The red edge,the visual spectrum and the near-infrared spectrum of Brassica Campestis L. leaf were used to explore the spectral response of Brassica Campestis L. leaf to the copper stress. As the Cu content in the soil gets increased,the copper level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf would be increased,and the chlorophyll level in Brassica Campestris L. leaf would be decreased. As a result,the visual spectral reflectance (A1) of Brassica Campestris L. leaf is increased,and the blue-shift (moving towards the shorter waveband) degree (S) of the red edge (the ascending region of the re-flectivity at 680―740 nm) gets increased. However,the near-infrared spectral re-flectance (A2) decreases.
