| 1 | Exploitation of Bi2O2Se/graphene van der Waals heterojunction for creating efficient photodetectors and short-channel field-effect transistors显示文摘The formation of heterojunction within solid-state devices enables them with eventually high performances,but provides a challenge for material synthesis and device fabrication because strict conditions such as lattice match are needed.Herein,we show a facile method to fabricate a van der Waals(vdW)heterojunction between two-dimensional(2D)bismuth oxyselenide(Bi2O2Se)and graphene,during which the graphene is directly transferred to the Bi2O2Se and served as a lowcontract-resistant electrode with small work function mismatch(~50 meV).As an optoelectronic device,the Bi2O2Se/graphene vdW heterojunction allows for the efficient sensing toward 1200-nm incident laser.Regarding the application of fieldeffect transistors(FETs),the short-channel(50 nm)sample can be synthesized by utilizing these two 2D materials(ie,channel:Bi2O2Se;drain/source terminal:graphene)and the n-type characteristic can be observed with the accordant field modulation.It is confirmed that we show a simple way to prepare the vdW heterojunction which is aiming to the high-performance applications among optoelectronics and FETs. | Congwei Tan Shipu Xu Zhenjun Tan Luzhao Sun Jinxiong Wu Tianran Li Hailin Peng | 2019 | InfoMat2019,1,3: | 8 |
| 2 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. | 4 | Bn.YCO affects chloroplast development in Brassica napus L.显示文摘Mature chloroplasts,as the main sites of photosynthesis,are essential for seedling growth in higher plants.Loss of function of genes involved in chloroplast development changes plant phenotype.We obtained a YELLOW COTYLEDON (YCO) mutant in rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) using CRISPR-Cas9.Bn.YCO,a gene of unknown function,has two homologous copies (Bna A01.YCO and Bna C01.YCO) in B.napus.Homozygous mutation of these two homologs resulted in yellow cotyledons and chlorotic true leaves.Transmission electron microscopy revealed that the formation of thylakoid membranes was inhibited in yellow cotyledons.Sequence similarity search revealed that YCO was conserved in different species,and a subcellular location assay verified that Bn.YCO was located in the chloroplast.Bn.YCO was expressed in multiple tissues,most highly in cotyledons.Knockout of Bn.YCO blocked the transcription of plastid genes,especially those of photosystem genes transcribed by plastid-encoded polymerase.Transcriptome sequencing showed that the majority of genes involved in ribosome assembly and photosynthesis were down-regulated in Bn.yco mutants.These results suggested that loss of function of Bn.YCO affected plastid gene transcription,which influenced chloroplast biogenesis in rapeseed seedlings. | Tingting Liu Baolong Tao Hanfei Wu Jing Wen Bin Yi Chaozhi Ma Jinxing Tu Tingdong Fu Lixia Zhu Jinxiong Shen | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,5: | 1 |

| 7 | Temperature-driven reversible structural transformation and conductivity switching in ultrathin Cu_(9)S_(5)crystals显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials with reversible phase transformation are appealing for their rich physics and potential applications in information storage.However,up to now,reversible phase transitions in 2D materials that can be driven by facile nondestructive methods,such as temperature,are still rare.Here,we introduce ultrathin Cu_(9)S_(5)crystals grown by chemical vapor deposition(CVD)as an exemplary case.For the first time,their basic electrical properties were investigated based on Hall measurements,showing a record high hole carrier density of~1022 cm^(-3) among 2D semiconductors.Besides,an unusual and repeatable conductivity switching behavior at~250 K were readily observed in a wide thickness range of CVD-grown Cu_(9)S_(5)(down to 2 unit-cells).Confirmed by in-situ selected area electron diffraction,this unusual behavior can be ascribed to the reversible structural phase transition between the room-temperature hexagonalβphase and low-temperatureβ’phase with a superstructure.Our work provides new insights to understand the physical properties of ultrathin Cu_(9)S_(5)crystals,and brings new blood to the 2D materials family with reversible phase transitions. | Lei Zhang Zeya Li Ying Deng Li Li Zhansheng Gao Jiabiao Chen Zhengyang Zhou Junwei Huang Weigao Xu Xuewen Fu Hongtao Yuan Feng Luo Jinxiong Wu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0 |
