| 1 | Single-cell RNA-seq data analysis on the receptor ACE2 expression reveals the potential risk of different human organs vulnerable to 2019-nCoV infection显示文摘It has been known that,the novel coronavirus,2019-nCoV,which is considered similar to SARS-CoV,invades human cells via the receptor angiotensin converting enzyme II(ACE2).Moreover,lung cells that have ACE2 expression may be the main target cells during 2019-nCoV infection.However,some patients also exhibit non-respiratory symptoms,such as kidney failure,implying that 2019-nCoV could also invade other organs.To construct a risk map of different human organs,we analyzed the single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)datasets derived from major human physiological systems,including the respiratory,cardiovascular,digestive,and urinary systems.Through scRNA-seq data analyses,we identified the organs at risk,such as lung,heart,esophagus,kidney,bladder,and ileum,and located specific cell types(i.e.,type II alveolar cells(AT2),myocardial cells,proximal tubule cells of the kidney,ileum and esophagus epithelial cells,and bladder urothelial cells),which are vulnerable to 2019-nCoV infection.Based on the findings,we constructed a risk map indicating the vulnerability of different organs to 2019-nCoV infection.This study may provide potential clues for further investigation of the pathogenesis and route of 2019-nCoV infection. | Xin Zou Ke Chen Jiawei Zou Peiyi Han Jie Hao Zeguang Han | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,2: | 193 |

| 3 | Meta-Path-Based Search and Mining in Heterogeneous Information Networks显示文摘Information networks that can be extracted from many domains are widely studied recently. Different functions for mining these networks are proposed and developed, such as ranking, community detection, and link prediction. Most existing network studies are on homogeneous networks, where nodes and links are assumed from one single type. In reality, however, heterogeneous information networks can better model the real-world systems, which are typically semi-structured and typed, following a network schema. In order to mine these heterogeneous information networks directly, we propose to explore the meta structure of the information network, i.e., the network schema. The concepts of meta-paths are proposed to systematically capture numerous semantic relationships across multiple types of objects, which are defined as a path over the graph of network schema. Meta-paths can provide guidance for search and mining of the network and help analyze and understand the semantic meaning of the objects and relations in the network. Under this framework, similarity search and other mining tasks such as relationship prediction and clustering can be addressed by systematic exploration of the network meta structure. | 4 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 5 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 7 | A modeling study of the impact of heterogeneous reactions on mineral aerosol surfaces on tropospheric chemistry over East Asia显示文摘Nine heterogeneous reactions(uptake of H2O2,HNO3,HO2,N2O5,NO2,NO3,O3,OH and SO2 on mineral aerosol surfaces)are incorporated into a Regional Air Quality Model System(RAQMS)to investigate their impacts on tropospheric chemistry in East Asia during the dust storm period in March 2006.Comparison with observations shows the model system well represents the behaviors of the gaseous and aerosol species.Most of the reaction probability values used for this study are the best estimation specifically for dust samples from deserts of China,derived from analysis of a number of recent laboratory studies. There are large variations in gas and aerosol concentrations while taking heterogeneous reactions on mineral aerosol surface into account,especially during dust storm events.The domain-averaged monthly mean percentage changes in SO2,NO2,O3,HNO3,NH3,total sulfate,total nitrate and total ammonium concentrations are-4.4%,-3.8%,-2.1%,-22.0%,12.7%,6.6%,26.1%,and-9.5%,respectively below 3 km. | 9 | The geometric factor of high energy protons detector on FY-3 satellite显示文摘Geometric factor is the key parameter for inversion of particle spectrum in space particle detection. Traditional geometric factor is obtained through the method of numerical calculation with the actual structure of the detector as the input condition. The degree of accuracy for data inversion is reduced since traditional geometric factor fails to take into account the physical process of interaction between the particle and substance as well as the influence of factors such as the particle interference between different energy channels on the measurement result. Here we propose an improved geometrical factor calculation method, the concept of which is to conduct actual structural modelling of the detector in the GEANT4 program, consider the process of interaction between the particle and substance, obtain the response function of the detector to particles of different energy channels through the method of Monte Carlo simulation, calculate the influence of contaminated particle on the geometrical factor, and finally get the geometrical factors for different energy channels of the detector. The imrpoved geometrical factor obtained through the method has carried out inversion for the data of high energy protons detector on China's FY-3 satellite, the energy spectrum after which is more in line with the power law distribution recognized by space physics. | 15 | Transcriptomics and metabolomics analyses provide insights into postharvest ripening and senescence of tomato fruit under low temperature显示文摘Tomato is one of the most important vegetable crops in the world and is a model plant used to study the ripening of climacteric fleshy fruit.During the ripening process of tomato fruit,flavor and aroma metabolites,color,texture and plant hormones undergo significant changes.However,low temperatures delayed the ripening process of tomato fruit,inhibiting flavor compounds and ethylene production.Metabolomics and transcriptomics analyses of tomato fruit stored under low temperature(LT,5°C)and room temperature(RT,25°C)were carried out to investigate the effects of storage temperature on the physiological changes in tomato fruit after harvest.The results of transcriptomics changes revealed that the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)involved in tomato fruit ripening,including several kinds of transcription factors(TFs)(TCP,WRKY,MYB and bZIP),enzymes involved in cell wall metabolism[beta-galactosidase(β-GAL),pectinesterase(PE)and pectate lyase(PL),cellulose and cellulose synthase(CESA)],enzymes associated with fruit flavor and aroma[acetyltransferase(AT),malic enzyme(ME),lipoxygenase(LOX),aldehyde dehydrogenase(ALDH),alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH)and hexokinase(HK)],genes associated with heat stress protein 70 and genes involved in the production of plant hormones such as Ethylene responsive factor 1(ERF1),Auxin/indoleacetic acids protein(AUX/IAA),gibberellin regulated protein.Based on the above results,we constructed a regulatory network model of the effects of different temperatures during the fruit ripening process.According to the analysis of the metabolomics results,it was found that the contents of many metabolites in tomato fruit were greatly affected by storage temperature,including,organic acids(L-tartaric acid,a-hydroxyisobutyric acid and 4-acetamidobutyric acid),sugars(melezitose,beta-Dlactose,D-sedoheptulose 7-phosphate,2-deoxyribose 1-phosphate and raffinose)and phenols(coniferin,curcumin and feruloylputrescine).This study revealed the effects of storage temperature on postharvest tomato fruit and provided a basis for further understanding of the molecular biology and biochemistry of fruit ripening. | Chunmei Bai Caie Wu Lili Ma Anzhen Fu Yanyan Zheng Jiawei Han Changbao Li Shuzhi Yuan Shufang Zheng Lipu Gao Xinhua Zhang Qing Wang Demei Meng Jinhua Zuo | 2023 | Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,1: | 3 |

Such a system has wide applications in the scenarios of traffic control, battlefield surveillance,environmental monitoring, and so on. A core element of CPS is the collection and assessment of information from noisy, dynamic, and uncertain physical environments integrated with many types of cyber-space resources. The potential of this integration is unbounded. To achieve this potential the raw data acquired from the physical world must be transformed into useable knowledge in real-time. Therefore, CPS brings a new dimension to knowledge discovery because of the emerging synergism of the physical and the cyber. The various properties of the physical world must be addressed in information management and knowledge discovery. This paper discusses the problems of mining sensor data in CPS: With a large number of wireless sensors deployed in a designated area, the task is real time detection of intruders that enter the area based on noisy sensor data. The framework of IntruMine is introduced to discover intruders from untrustworthy sensor data. | 20 | Co-culture of Schwann cells and endothelial cells for synergistically regulating dorsal root ganglion behavior on chitosan-based anisotropic topology for peripheral nerve regeneration显示文摘Background:Anisotropic topologies are known to regulate cell-oriented growth and induce cell differentiation,which is conducive to accelerating nerve regeneration,while co-culture of endothelial cells(ECs)and Schwann cells(SCs)can significantly promote the axon growth of dorsal root ganglion(DRG).However,the synergistic regulation of EC and SC co-culture of DRG behavior on anisotropic topologies is still rarely reported.The study aims to investigate the effect of anisotropic topology co-cultured with Schwann cells and endothelial cells on dorsal root ganglion behavior for promoting peripheral nerve regeneration.Methods:Chitosan/artemisia sphaerocephala(CS/AS)scaffolds with anisotropic topology were first prepared using micro-molding technology,and then the surface was modified with dopamine to facilitate cell adhesion and growth.The physical and chemical properties of the scaffolds were characterized through morphology,wettability,surface roughness and component variation.SCs and ECs were co-cultured with DRG cells on anisotropic topology scaffolds to evaluate the axon growth behavior.Results:Dopamine-modified topological CS/AS scaffolds had good hydrophilicity and provided an appropriate environment for cell growth.Cellular immunofluorescence showed that in contrast to DRG growth alone,co-culture of SCs and ECs could not only promote the growth of DRG axons,but also offered a stronger guidance for orientation growth of neurons,which could effectively prevent axons from tangling and knotting,and thus may significantly inhibit neurofibroma formation.Moreover,the co-culture of SCs and ECs could promote the release of nerve growth factor and vascular endothelial growth factor,and up-regulate genes relevant to cell proliferation,myelination and skeletal development via the PI3K-Akt,MAPK and cytokine and receptor chemokine pathways.Conclusions:The co-culture of SCs and ECs significantly improved the growth behavior of DRG on anisotropic topological scaffolds,which may provide an important basis for the development of nerve grafts in peripheral nerve regeneration. | Tiantian Zheng Linliang Wu Shaolan Sun Jiawei Xu Qi Han Yifan Liu Ronghua Wu Guicai Li | 2022 | Burns & Trauma2022,10,1: | 2 |
