1Identification of the surgical indication line for the Denonvilliers’fascia and its anatomy in patients with rectal cancer显示文摘Background:The high rate of urogenital dysfunction after traditional total mesorectal excision(TME)has caused doubts among scholars on the standard fashion of dissection.We have proposed the necessity to preserve the Denonvilliers’fascia in patients with rectal cancer.However,how to accurately locate the Denonvilliers’fascia is unclear.This study aimed to explore anatomical features of the Denonvilliers’fascia by comparing autopsy findings and observations of surgical videos so as to propose a dissection method for the preservation of pelvic autonomic nerves during rectal cancer surgery.Methods:Five adult male cadaver specimens were dissected,and surgical videos of 135 patients who underwent TME for mid-low rectal cancer between January 2009 and February 2019 were reviewed to identify and compare the structure of the Denonvilliers’fascia.Results:The monolayer structure of the Denonvilliers’fascia was observed in 5 male cadaver specimens,and it was located between the rectum,the bottom of the bladder,the seminal vesicles,the vas deferens,and the prostate.The Denonvilliers’fascia was originated from the rectovesical pouch(or rectum-uterus pouch),down to fuse caudally with the rectourethral muscle at the apex of the prostate,and fused to the lateral ligaments on both sides.The fascia was thinner on the midline with a thickness of 1.06±0.10 mm.The crown shape of the Denonvilliers’fascia was slightly triangular,with a height of approximately 5.42±0.16 cm at midline.Nerves were more densely distributed in front of the Denonvilliers’fascia than behind,especially on both sides of it.Under laparoscopic view,the Denonvilliers’fascia was originated at the lowest point of the rectovesical pouch(or rectum-uterus pouch),with a thickened white line which was a good mark for identifying the Denonvilliers’fascia.Conclusion:Identification of the surgical indication line for the Denonvilliers’fascia could help us identify the Denonvilliers’fascia,and it would improve our ability to protect the pelvic autonomic function of patients undergoing TME for rectal cancer.Jianglong Huang Jing Liu Jiafeng Fang Zongheng Zeng Bo Wei Tufeng Chen Hongbo Wei 2020Cancer Communications2020,40,1:10

3Surface modification with oxygen vacancy in Li-rich layered oxide Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2 for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘A couple of layered Li-rich cathode materials Li1.2Mn0.54Ni0.13Co0.13O2 without any carbon modification are successfully synthesized by solvothermal and hydrothermal methods followed by a calcination process. The sample synthesized by the solvothermal method(S-NCM) possesses more homogenous microstructure, lower cation mixing degree and more oxygen vacancies on the surface, compared to the sample prepared by the hydrothermal method(H-NCM). The S-NCM sample exhibits much better cycling performance, higher discharge capacity and more excellent rate performance than H-NCM. At 0.2 C rate,the S-NCM sample delivers a much higher initial discharge capacity of 292.3 mAh g^-1 and the capacity maintains 235 m Ah g^-1 after 150 cycles(80.4% retention), whereas the corresponding capacity values are only 269.2 and 108.5 m Ah g^-1(40.3% retention) for the H-NCM sample. The S-NCM sample also shows the higher rate performance with discharge capacity of 118.3 mAh g^-1 even at a high rate of 10 C, superior to that(46.5 m Ah g^-1) of the H-NCM sample. 6Multiomics analysis reveals metabolic subtypes and identifies diacylglycerol kinase α (DGKA) as a potential therapeutic target for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(iCCA)is a highly heteroge-neous and lethal hepatobiliary tumor with few therapeutic strategies.The metabolic reprogramming of tumor cells plays an essential role in the develop-ment of tumors,while the metabolic molecular classification of iCCA is largely unknown.Here,we performed an integrated multiomics analysis and metabolic classification to depict differences in metabolic characteristics of iCCA patients,hoping to provide a novel perspective to understand and treat iCCA.Methods:We performed integrated multiomics analysis in 116 iCCA samples,including whole-exome sequencing,bulk RNA-sequencing and proteome anal-ysis.Based on the non-negative matrix factorization method and the protein abundance of metabolic genes in human genome-scale metabolic models,the metabolic subtype of iCCA was determined.Survival and prognostic gene analy-ses were used to compare overall survival(OS)differences between metabolic subtypes.Cell proliferation analysis,5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine(EdU)assay,colony formation assay,RNA-sequencing and Western blotting were performed to investigate the molecular mechanisms of diacylglycerol kinaseα(DGKA)in iCCA cells.Results:Three metabolic subtypes(S1-S3)with subtype-specific biomarkers of iCCA were identified.These metabolic subtypes presented with distinct prog-noses,metabolic features,immune microenvironments,and genetic alterations.The S2 subtype with the worst survival showed the activation of some special metabolic processes,immune-suppressed microenvironment and Kirsten ratsar-coma viral oncogene homolog(KRAS)/AT-rich interactive domain 1A(ARID1A)mutations.Among the S2 subtype-specific upregulated proteins,DGKA was further identified as a potential drug target for iCCA,which promoted cell proliferation by enhancing phosphatidic acid(PA)metabolism and activating mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling.Conclusion:Viamultiomics analyses,we identified three metabolic subtypes of iCCA,revealing that the S2 subtype exhibited the poorest survival outcomes.We further identified DGKA as a potential target for the S2 subtype.Weiren Liu Huqiang Wang Qianfu Zhao Chenyang Tao Weifeng Qu Yushan Hou Run Huang Zimei Sun Guiqi Zhu Xifei Jiang Yuan Fang Jun Gao Xiaoling Wu Zhixiang Yang Rongyu Ping Jiafeng Chen Rui Yang Tianhao Chu Jian Zhou Jia Fan Zheng Tang Dong Yang Yinghong Shi 2024Cancer Communications2024,44,2:0

8Killing two birds with one stone:Constructing tri-elements doped and hollow-structured carbon sphere by a single template for advanced potassium-ion hybrid capacitors显示文摘Integrating the merits of long lifespan and excellent energy as well as power densities,potassium-ion hybrid capacitors(PIHCs)exhibit great prospects for future energy storage devices.To boost comprehensive performance of PIHCs,heteroatom-doping and morphology-tuning as two comprehensive strategies have been devoted to designing uniquely structural carbon-based materials with favorable advantages.An ideal strategy for simultaneous atomic doping and structural regulation is expected to be developed.Herein,we propose a novel'Killing Two Birds with One Stone'strategy to prepare a tri-elements doped hollow carbon sphere(TED-HCS)as PIHCs anodes,that is,a single template of spherical CoP particles is rationally adopted,which not only provides both a P source for heteroatom-doping but also acts as a selfsacrificial template for hollow-structure engineering.The multifunctional TED-HCS presents a high capacity of 473.0 mAh g^(-1) and excellent rate performance of 212.5 mAh g^(-1) at 5.0 A g^(-1).Remarkably,the as-assembled PIHCs show outstanding energy/power density(40.4 Wh kg^(-1)/10500 W kg^(-1))and remain high-capacity retention of 89.15%even cycling 12,000 times.The'Killing Two Birds with One Stone'strategy offers new insight into the search for the preparation of carbon-based materials with multi-elements doping and specific morphology structure.Jiafeng Ruan Yahui Zhao Sainan Luo Jiaming Hu Yuepeng Pang Fang Fang Shiyou Zheng 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:0
