| 1 | Anthropogenic emission inventories in China:a review显示文摘The development of reliable anthropogenic emission inventories is essential for both understanding the sources of air pollution and designing effective air-pollution-control measures in China. However, it is challenging to quantify emissions in China accurately, given the variety of contributing sources, the complexity of the technology mix and the lack of reliable measurements. Over the last two decades,tremendous efforts have been made to improve the accuracy of emission inventories, and significant improvements have been realized. More reliable statistics and survey-based data have been used to reduce the uncertainties in activity rates and technology distributions. Local emission factors and source profiles covering various sources have been measured and reported. Based on these local databases, improved emission inventory models have been developed for power plants, large industrial plants and the residential,transportation and agricultural sectors. In this paper, we review the progress that has been made in developing inventories of anthropogenic emissions in China. We first highlight the major updates that have been made to emission inventory models and the underlying data by source category. We then summarize the sector-based estimates of emissions of different species contained in current inventories. The progress that has been made in the development of model-ready emissions is also presented. | 2 | Vehicular volatile organic compounds losses due to refueling and diurnal process in China: 2010–2050显示文摘Volatile organic compounds(VOCs) are crucial to control air pollution in major Chinese cities since VOCs are the dominant factor influencing ambient ozone level, and also an important precursor of secondary organic aerosols. Vehicular evaporative emissions have become a major and growing source of VOC emissions in China. This study consists of lab tests, technology evaluation, emissions modeling, policy projections and cost-benefit analysis to draw a roadmap for China for controlling vehicular evaporative emissions. The analysis suggests that evaporative VOC emissions from China's light-duty gasoline vehicles were approximately 185,000 ton in 2010 and would peak at 1,200,000 ton in 2040 without control. The current control strategy implemented in China, as shown in business as usual(BAU) scenario, will barely reduce the long-term growth in emissions. Even if Stage II gasoline station vapor control policies were extended national wide(BAU + extended Stage II), there would still be over 400,000 ton fuel loss in 2050. In contrast, the implementation of on-board refueling vapor recovery(ORVR) on new cars could reduce 97.5% of evaporative VOCs by 2050(BAU + ORVR/BAU + delayed ORVR). According to the results, a combined Stage II and ORVR program is a comprehensive solution that provides both short-term and long-term benefits. | 3 | Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. | 5 | m6A RNA methylation-mediated HNF3γreduction renders hepatocellular carcinoma dedifferentiation and sorafenib resistance显示文摘Hepatocyte nuclear factor 3γ(HNF3γ)is a hepatocyte nuclear factor,but its role and clinical significance in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain unclear.Herein,we report that HNF3γexpression is downregulated in patient HCC and inversely correlated with HCC malignancy and patient survival.Moreover,our data suggested that the HNF3γreduction in HCC could be mediated by METTL14-dependent m6A methylation of HNF3γmRNA.HNF3γexpression was increased during hepatic differentiation and decreased in dedifferentiated HCC cells.Interestingly,HNF3γdelivery promoted differentiation of not only HCC cells but also liver CSCs,which led to suppression of HCC growth.Mechanistic analysis suggested an HNF3γ-centered regulatory network that includes essential liver differentiation-associated transcription factors and functional molecules,which could synergistically facilitate HCC cell differentiation.More importantly,enforced HNF3γexpression sensitized HCC cells to sorafenib-induced growth inhibition and cell apoptosis through transactivation of OATP1B1 and OATP1B3 expression,which are major membrane transporters for sorafenib uptake.Clinical investigation showed that patient-derived HCC xenografts with high HNF3γexpression exhibited a sorafenib response and patients with high HCC HNF3γlevels benefited from sorafenib therapy.Together,these results suggest that HNF3γplays an essential role in HCC differentiation and may serve as a therapeutic target and predictor of sorafenib benefit in patients. | Tengfei Zhou Shichao Li Daimin Xiang Junyu Liu Wen Sun Xiuliang Cui Beifang Ning Xiao Li Zhuo Cheng Weiqi Jiang Cheng Zhang Xijun Liang Liang Li Xin Cheng Liu Hui Hongyang Wang Jin Ding | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 4 |

| 9 | Fabrication of a turbine disk alloy by electron beam sheet lamination and investigation on the improved high temperature creep performance显示文摘A turbine disk alloy was prepared by electron beam sheet lamination(EBSL),giving a refined microstruc-ture and high purity,and the microstructure-property relationship of this alloy has been developed.The alloy showed an outstanding creep life of 1266.3 h at 953 K/500 MPa.Compared with the conventional vacuum induction melted and vacuum arc re-melted alloy,a smaller dendrite arm spacing of less than 23μm was obtained through the EBSL method,which restricted the formation of large inter-dendritic carbides.As a result,the typical intergranular failure mode was observed in the EBSL alloy,whereas the transgranular fracture mode was dominant in the conventional alloy.The inter-dendritic MC carbides formed from the reverse diffusion of Nb are believed to either impede grain boundary sliding or initi-ate cracks,depending on their size and morphology.The tiny grain boundary precipitates of theδphase in the EBSL alloy could reduce the critical stress for microvoid nucleation to 161.07 MPa by decoher-ing the particle/matrix interface,or allowing vacancy condensation near theδinterface,resulting in the formation of grain boundary microcracks.In the conventional alloy,however,the larger-sized MC car-bides which were formed during the solidification process(0.36 vol.%)nucleated the microcracks within the particles,leading to the transgranular fracture.Furthermore,the results indicated that the nanoscaleγ′andγ″precipitates contributed primarily to strengthening and coordinating intragranular deforma-tion during creep,in which the Orowan mechanism and shearing of a/6<211>partial dislocations and a/2<110>doublets were active forγ′andγ″precipitates,respectively. | Xiaogang You Yi Tan Masao Takeyama Pengting Li Yi Li Huixing Zhang Hongyang Cui Chuanyong Cui Yinong Wang Jiayan Li Zhijun Zhang Gengyi Dong Wenjia Xiao | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,12: | 0 |

| 12 | Recrystallization Behavior of the New Ni-Co-Based Superalloy with Fusion Structure Produced by Electron Beam Smelting Layered Solidification Technology显示文摘The new Ni-Co-based superalloy featuring a'fusion structure'was produced utilizing electron beam smelting layered solidification technology(EBSL).Experimental examination of hot compression deformation with varied settings for EBSL and conventional duplex process melting Ni-Co superalloys was performed.As per the study,EBSL-Ni-Co superalloys exhibited enhanced recrystallization susceptibility during hot deformation.Furthermore,elevating deformation temperature,lowering strain rate,and augmenting strain collectively contribute to enlarging the volume fraction of dynamically recrystallized grains.Aberrant growth of grains occurred when the deformation temperature equaledγ′sub-solvus temperature and the strain rate was slower.Moreover,exceeding theγ′solvus temperature during deformation significantly increases the particle size of dynamic recrystallization(DRX)grains.Theγ′phase can effectively modulate the DRX grain size through the pegging effect.Additionally,it was revealed that the presence of the fusion structure aids in the generation of continuous dynamic recrystallization,discontinuous dynamic recrystallization,and twinning-induced dynamic recrystallization while the alloy undergoes hot deformation.This mechanism promotes DRX granule formation and permits complete recrystallization.Ultimately,the fusion structure was identified as playing a catalytic role in the dynamic recrystallization process of the new Ni-Co superalloy. | Hongyang Cui Yi Tan Rusheng Bai Lidan Ning Chuanyong Cui Xiaogang You Pengting Li | 2023 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,12: | 0 |
