2A Facile Synthesis of Monodisperse Au Nanoparticles and Their Catalysis of CO Oxidation显示文摘Monodisperse Au nanoparticles(NPs)have been synthesized at room temperature via a burst nucleation of Au upon injection of the reducing agent t-butylamine-borane complex into a 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene solution of HAuCl4·3H2O in the presence of oleylamine.The as-synthesized Au NPs show size-dependent surface plasmonic properties between 520 and 530 nm.They adopt an icosahedral shape and are polycrystalline with multiple-twinned structures.When deposited on a graphitized porous carbon support,the NPs are highly active for CO oxidation,showing 100%CO conversion at-45°C.Sheng Peng Youngmin Lee Chao Wang Hongfeng Yin Sheng Dai Shouheng Sun 2008Nano Research2008,1,3:11
3Frequency-dependent rupture process,stress change,and seismogenic mechanism of the 25 April 2015 Nepal Gorkha M_w 7.8 earthquake显示文摘On 25 April 2015,an M_w 7.8 earthquake occurred on the Main Himalaya Thrust fault with a dip angle of^7° about77 km northwest of Kathmandu,Nepal.This Nepal Gorkha event is the largest one on the Himalayan thrust belt since 1950.Here we use the compressive sensing method in the frequency domain to track the seismic radiation and rupture process of this event using teleseismic P waves recorded by array stations in North America.We also compute the distribution of static shear stress changes on the fault plane from a coseismic slip model.Our results indicate a dominant east-southeastward unilateral rupture process from the epicenter with an average rupture speed of ~3 km s^(-1).Coseismic radiation of this earthquake shows clear frequency-dependent features.The lower frequency(0.05-0.3 Hz) radiation mainly originates from large coseismic slip regions with negative coseismic shear stress changes.In comparison,higher frequency(0.3-0.6 Hz) radiation appears to be from the down-dip part around the margin of large slip areas,which has been loaded and presents positive coseismic shear stress changes.We propose an asperity model to interpret this Nepal earthquake sequence and compare the frequency-dependent coseismic radiation with that in subduction zones.Such frequency-dependent radiation indicates the depth-varying frictional properties on the plate interface of the Nepal section in the main Himalaya thrust system,similar to previous findings in oceanic subduction zones.Our findings provide further evidence of the spatial correlation between changes of static stress status on the fault plane and the observed frequency-dependent coseismic radiation during large earthquakes.Our results show that the frequency-dependent coseismic radiation is not only found for megathrust earthquakes in the oceanic subduction environment,but also holds true for thrust events in the continental collision zone.YIN JiuXun YAO HuaJian YANG HongFeng LIU Jing QIN WeiZe ZHANG HaiJiang 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,4:7
4Wheat breeding history reveals synergistic selection of pleiotropic genomic sites for plant architecture and grain yield显示文摘Diversity surveys of crop germplasm are important for gaining insights into the genomic basis for plant architecture and grain yield improvement,which is still poorly understood in wheat.In this study,we exome sequenced 287 wheat accessions that were collected in the past 100 years.Population genetics analysis identified that 6.7%of the wheat genome falls within the selective sweeps between landraces and cultivars,which harbors the genes known for yield improvement.These regions were asymmetrically distributed on the A and B subgenomes with regulatory genes being favorably selected.Genome-wide association study(GWAS)identified genomic loci associated with traits for yield potential,and two underlying genes,TaARF12 encoding an auxin response factor and TaDEP1 encoding the G-proteinγ-subunit,were located and characterized to pleiotropically regulate both plant height and grain weight.Elite single-nucleotide haplotypes with increased allele frequency in cultivars relative to the landraces were identified and found to have accumulated over the course of breeding.Interestingly,we found that TaARF12 and TaDEP1 function in epistasis with the classical plant height Rht-1 locus,leading to propose a“Green Revolution”-based working model for historical wheat breeding.Collectively,our study identifies selection signatures that fine-tune the gibberellin pathway during modern wheat breeding and provides a wealth of genomic diversity resources for the wheat research community.Aili Li Chenyang Hao Zhenyu Wang Shuaifeng Geng Meiling Jia Fang Wang Xiang Han Xingchen Kong Lingjie Yin Shu Tao Zhongyin Deng Ruyi Liao Guoliang Sun Ke Wang Xingguo Ye Chengzhi Jiao Hongfeng Lu Yun Zhou Dengcai Liu Xiangdong Fu Xueyong Zhang Long Mao 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,3:4
5Distribution pattern of endangered bird species in China显示文摘In this study,we determined six“hotspots”for avian biodiversity conservation in China.We analyzed the distribution patterns of 183 threatened bird species in China in conjunction with geographical data to produce a distribution map that shows the concentrations of threatened species.The six biodiversity hotspots are:the western Tianshan Mountains;the Qilian and Hengduan mountains;southern Anhui,southern Jiangsu,and the Zhejiang Hills;the Songliao Plain and the northern region of the North China Plain;the island of Taiwan;and the island of Hainan.Based on our analysis of a species–habitat matrix,species were determined to be distributed mainly in broadleaved forest,grassland and meadows,urban and agricultural areas,wetlands,and bush.Most species were commonly found to have a range of three to five different habitat types.Apart from the six biodiversity hotspots,six ecological clusters were determined.Protection strategies indicating different levels of habitat priority among the biodiversity hotspots were also recommended.Fumin LEI Hongfeng ZHAO Zuohua YIN 2006Integrative Zoology2006,1,4:4
6Chromosome-scale assembly of the Dendrobium chrysotoxum genome enhances the understanding of orchid evolution显示文摘As one of the largest families of angiosperms,the Orchidaceae family is diverse.Dendrobium represents the second largest genus of the Orchidaceae.However,an assembled high-quality genome of species in this genus is lacking.Here,we report a chromosome-scale reference genome of Dendrobium chrysotoxum,an important ornamental and medicinal orchid species.The assembled genome size of D.chrysotoxum was 1.37 Gb,with a contig N50 value of 1.54 Mb.Of the sequences,95.75%were anchored to 19 pseudochromosomes.There were 30,044 genes predicted in the D.chrysotoxum genome.Two whole-genome polyploidization events occurred in D.chrysotoxum.In terms of the second event,whole-genome duplication(WGD)was also found to have occurred in other Orchidaceae members,which diverged mainly via gene loss immediately after the WGD event occurred;the first duplication was found to have occurred in most monocots(tau event).We identified sugar transporter(SWEET)gene family expansion,which might be related to the abundant medicinal compounds and fleshy stems of D.chrysotoxum.MADS-box genes were identified in D.chrysotoxum,as well as members of TPS and Hsp90 gene families,which are associated with resistance,which may contribute to the adaptive evolution of orchids.We also investigated the interplay among carotenoid,ABA,and ethylene biosynthesis in D.chrysotoxum to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms of the short flowering period of orchids with yellow flowers.The reference D.chrysotoxum genome will provide important insights for further research on medicinal active ingredients and breeding and enhances the understanding of orchid evolution.Yongxia Zhang Guo-Qiang Zhang Diyang Zhang Xue-Die Liu Xin-Yu Xu Wei-Hong Sun Xia Yu Xiaoen Zhu Zhi-Wen Wang Xiang Zhao Wen-Ying Zhong Hongfeng Chen Wei-Lun Yin Tengbo Huang Shan-Ce Niu Zhong-Jian Liu 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:3

15Improving Hydration Resistance of MgO-CaO Clinkers by Depositing MgO Coating显示文摘By carbothermal reduction of Mg O with black carbon as reduction agent at a high temperature,Mg O was deposited on the surface of Mg O- Ca O clinker( as coating) to improve the clinker 's hydration resistance. In the paper,effect of deposition temperature and holding time on the hydration resistance of the treated Mg O-Ca O,the deposition mechanism and Mg O coating kinetics were investigated with hydration resistance test,X-ray diffractometry( XRD) and scanning electronic microscope( SEM). Results showed Mg O coating grew in a2D mode on the surface of Mg O- Ca O particles; the Mg O coating improved the hydration resistance of the coated Mg O- Ca O clinker,and the coated clinker would become stronger when coated at higher deposition temperature and longer holding time. 16Mirror-like tongue is an important predictor of acute heart failure:a cohort study of acute heart failure in Chinese patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To reveal that mirror-like tongue,observed via a noninvasive inspection,is a powerful indicator of the severity and prognosis of patients with acute heart failure(AHF).METHODS:This was an observational,prospective study.A total of 408 patients who met the inclusion criteria and were diagnosed with AHF for the first time at Taicang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from August 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research subjects.According to their tongue fur,the patients were divided into group A(mirror-like tongue group)and group B(non-mirror-like tongue group).The clinical characteristics and incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACEs)within 1 year of follow-up were systematically compared between the two groups.RESULTS:Sixty-five patients were included in group A,and 343 patients were included in group B.There were 32 males and 33 females in group A and 168 males and 175 females in group B.The average age of the overall population was 64 years old,and the average age of group A was significantly higher than that of group B(74 vs 62 years,P<0.001).Compared with that in group B,the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in group A was significantly lower(35%vs 42%,P<0.001),and the log N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)level was significantly higher(4.0 vs 3.4,P<0.001).The proportion of the combined application of vasoactive drugs in group A was significantly higher than that in group B(64%vs 38%,P<0.001).Group B had a higher proportion of coronary angiography(29.5%vs 16.9%,P=0.038).Group A was more inclined to require mechanical ventilation than group B(33.9%vs 22.5%,P=0.049).The length of hospital stay in group A was significantly longer than that in group B(13.1 vs 7.6,P<0.001).The incidence of MACEs,such as recurrence of AHF,new myocardial infarction and stroke,in group A within one year was higher than that in group B(P=0.007,0.009,<0.001).The incidence of cumulative MACEs in group A was significantly higher than that in group B[hazard ratio=2.76,95%confidence interval(1.73,4.41),P<0.001].Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses showed that mirror-like tongue,age,length of stay,LVEF and log NT-proBNP were independent predictors of MACEs in patients with AHF within one year.CONCLUSIONS:Noninvasive tongue inspection technology can be used as a powerful tool for assessing the severity of illness and predicting prognosis in patients with AHF.A mirror-like tongue is an independent risk factor for MACEs in patients with AHF during the first year and has a combination effect with age,length of hospital stay,ejection fraction and NT-proBNP on the occurrence of MACEs.CHEN Yunhu YIN Moqing FAN Lihua JIANG Xuechun ZHANG Tao ZHU Xingyu XU Hongfeng 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,6:0
17Fabrication and Properties of Ti_3SiC_2/SiC Composites显示文摘Ti3SiC2/SiC composites were fabricated by reactive hot pressing method. Effects of hot pressing temperature, the content and particle size of SiC on phase composition, densification, mechanical properties and behavior of stress-strain of the composites were investigated. The results showed that: (1) Hot-pressing temperature influenced the phase composition of Ti3SiC2/SiC composites. The flexural strength and fracture toughness of composites increased with hot pressing temperature. (2) It became more difficult for the composites to densify when the content of SiC in composites increased. It need be sintered at higher temperature to get denser composite. The flexural strength and fracture toughness of composites increased when the content of SiC added in composites increased. However, when the content of SiC reached 50 wt%, the flexural strength and fracture toughness of composites decreased due to high content of pore in composites. (3) When the content of SiC was same, Ti3SiC2/SiC composites were denser while the particle size of SiC added in composites is 12.8 μm compared with the composites that the particle size of SiC added is 3 μm. The flexural strength and fracture toughness of composites increased with the increase of particle size of SiC added in composites. 18Synthesis of Si3N4 Powder Using Sawdust as Carbon Source显示文摘Si_3N_4 powder was synthesized by carbothermal reduction nitridation reaction using sawdust as carbon source and introducing SiO_2 by silica sol immersion.Effects of Si O2 content of silica sol,molding pressure,reaction temperature,reaction duration,and N_2 flow rate on phase compositions and microstructure of resultants were studied. 19Management of Intraductal Papilloma of the Breast Diagnosed on Core Needle Biopsy:Latest Controversies显示文摘Intraductal papillomas(IDPs),including central papilloma and peripheral papilloma,are common in the female population.Due to the lack of specific clinical manifestations of IDPs,it is easy to misdiagnose or miss diagnose.The difficulty of dif-ferential diagnosis using imaging techniques also contributes to these conditions.Histopathology is the gold standard for the diagnosis of IDPs while the possibility of under sample exists in the percutaneous biopsy.There have been some debates about how to treat asymptomatic IDPs without atypia diagnosed on core needle biopsy(CNB),especially when the upgrade rate to carcinoma is considered.This article concludes that further surgery is recommended for IDPs without atypia diagnosed on CNB who have high-risk factors,while appropriate imaging follow-up may be suitable for those without risk factors.Siyuan Tu Yulian Yin Chunchun Yuan Hongfeng Chen 2023Phenomics2023,3,2:0
20Using time-resolved photo鈉oustic calorimetry to study triplet energy and lifetime for benzophenone-KI system显示文摘Time-resolved photoacoustic calorimetry has been expanded to allow the simultaneous determination of the dynamics and energetics of photoinduced reaction occurring on fast timescales, principally ns and μs. Data analysis requires deconvolution of photoacoustic signals for a sum of exponentials.
